All was ok but a bit noisey. I was woken up by people coming in and going up the stairs, running showers etc. I wore ear plugs abd that solved it.
This is a really lovely place, with lovely staff in a lovely area. For us it was an absolute pleasure to stay here, the breakfast was lovely, room was lovely- I would come back tomorrow if I could!
They have great breakfast and very friendly staff. All the products are self grown and ecologic.
Great place to stay!! Fantastic location. Comfortable rooms. Good breakfast with different hot/cold/fruits options. Recommended.
We loved our stay at Casa do Jasmim! We arrived several hours early for our check in. They couldn’t accommodate an early check in to the room, but were more than happy to lock up our bags so we could go explore. They were finishing up breakfast, and offered for us to grab a coffee and a quick bite as well. Truly top notch hospitality after a long night traveling. The room was clean, staff helpful with dining recommendations, must-see parts of the city, and advising which trains to take for the next leg of our journey. The location is prime for taking advantage of all this beautiful neighborhood has to offer. We had a first floor room, and there was quite a bit of street noise at times overnight, but for us it was fine. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend to friends.
Nous recommandons fortement!
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour à Casa do Jasmin. Le personnel a été très aimable, accueillant et de bon conseil. Hôtel confortable, bien situé et avec une petit-déjeuner compris tout simplement remarquable et au-delà de la moyenne. Nous recommandons fortement! Excellent rapport qualit-prix!
The place was quaint and lovely. The breakfast was great. A wide assortment of cheese, meat, eggs made to order, and small bite size dishes. What puts this place over the top is the staff. Priscilla, Mario, and our personal favorite Alex, were all exceptional and helpful with recommendations. We would recommend to any traveler.
It was comfortable and clean, staff were on hand and really friendly, we had a lovely stay. The breakfast was really good!
Loved our stay - the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the location is perfect. Will definitely be back!
Boutique and Quaint
Brilliant location in a converted house in the heart of Lisbon. My only concern was the thin flooring and the noisy guests romping up and down and dragging furniture around in the room above.
Awesome
Beware of booking
Do Not Book to arrive late. You will found no one there to help you. Had to find other accommodations for the night.
We stayed in two locations in Lisbon. Alfama area and here. Loved the area! Felt like I was staying among locals and not crowds of tourists. The hotel is on a quiet street. Walkable to restaurants and a pharmacy. Felt safe walking back at night. Building is old but well maintained. Staff was lovely. Free Breakfast was good. Loved having a place to enjoy afternoon coffee in the breakfast/ patio area to relax and get our second wind.
Perfect location and staff
It is a lovely change from the modern hotel. It is a guest house so beyond the guest rooms the building is somewhat worn and tired looking. BUT the rooms appear to have been completely updated with new decorations, electronic keys and sound electrical supplies. The bathroom was very clean and very well appointed. It is my second stay in three years.
Lovely, relaxed, conrent
Beautiful hotel in an old ( 1868) building. Wonderful breakfasts, lovely room, great srrvice. We felt very well taken care of. The only caution us that there is no elevator ( we git a great workout!) Highly rwcommenf
Interesting hotel with an eclectic vibe. Beware, there is no elevator. That was fine for us, but probably not for everyone. Great buffet breakfast with made-to-order eggs.
Highly recommend
Excellent hotel - the room was large and comfortable, with a really homely feel. Spotlessly clean and a lovely bathroom too. Staff were extremely helpful, and the breakfast is great, including local sweet and savoury pastries. They were also able to advise us on allergens. I will be checking out other hotels in this group.
After a nightmare situation with the Garrett48 Apartments cancelling my reservation less than 24 hours in advance, I was able to book a last minute room at Casa do Jasmim and I am glad I did! This is a wonderful boutique hotel located in a quiet street with lots of wonderful dining options around - check out CINCO Lounge and Coppola restaurant, both located within 2 minutes of Casa do Jasmim. Our room was wonderful - they welcomed us with a bottle of wine & some chocolates, and it was already equipped with extra bedding if needed. The AC unit worked great, there was lots of storage to unpack your luggage, a TV, wonderful view of the street, and a shower with amazing water pressure (although the shower is quite small). Housekeeping was provided daily & the most wonderful staff was there to help us with any questions & recommendations! Breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of options & again - the hospitality was unmatched; truly some of the nicest staff I've ever interacted with. Highly recommend!
Superb
Very friendly and helpful owner and staff. Excellent cleanliness, condition and comfort. Breakfast quality and selection very good. Highly recommend.
The staff takes care of you. If you screw up (I did), they fix it. Bruna is a jewel. The breakfasts are amazing, the breakfast staff is wonderful. Down side? The stairs. Request a low floor if you have mobility issues. But the stairs are tolerable—just take it easy!—and the kindness of the staff more than cancels out the stairs. (We are older and not used to stairs. If you’re younger and don’t have mobility issues, no biggie. Even with our age, the helpfulness of the staff offsets the stairs.).
Was excellent location and perfect small hotel
Highly recommended for your stay in Lisbon.
Friendliest staff in all of Europe
Fabulous staff Very accommodating helpful and friendly My room was perfect clean and comfortable fantastic shower The buffet breakfast was fantastic delicious the best I’ve had in 10 weeks traveling all over Europe freshly cooked on the premises delicious cakes, I left early in the morning and they prepared a takeaway breakfast for me which was very appreciated Lisbon is very hilly I didn’t realise and decided to walk 15 minute walk easy, no it wasn’t the hills are big don’t walk Fantastic restaurant directly across the road the food was amazing
I made the best choice with this one!
I could not have been happier with my choice of hotel. Perfect location, great helpful staff, fanatic style and vibe. Definitely re visit, I was sad to leave 😊
Great Location! Walking distance to a lot of great dining options. Friendly staff. Room is spacious.
Expidia sells it as a hotel and it is not, it is a hostel, we immediately arrived and wanted to cancel the reservation and it was not possible, we had to climb many stairs to the fourth floor without an elevator. One of our friends had to leave and lost three days of stay because she couldn't be going up the stairs. The reservation was for 4 nights 5 days and I did not get a refund. If you are looking for a hostel it is wonderful, but if you want a hotel I do not recommend it
Great Lisbon Base!
What a perfect base to explore Lisbon! I want to send a special Thank You to Bruna who went out of her way to make everyday special. She was able to help us with a room change which changed our experience. The room we moved to- on the 1st floor- was SO beautiful and bright and I loved that it had two rooms- the bedroom and a kithen/dining/living room area. The bed was super comfy and the decoration of the rooms is really beautiful. The breakfast each morning was AWESOME and the staff- including Alesandra- were all wonderful!! We also ate dinner one night at the Iranian restaurant across the street and it is INCREDIBLE! One of the best meals we had on our 10 day trip! We will for sure stay here again on our next trip to Lisbon!
Nice hotel in a great location.
Outstanding location here. The staff was friendly and the breakfast generous. Our room was fairly basic, but pleasant and had everything we needed during our stay. Certainly not a luxury spot, but a comfortable home base while exploring this fantastic city.
Nice staff, great location
Really nice location and lovely staff. Rooms are a good size, however, they were let down a bit by uncomfortable mattresses, and black mold present in the bathroom around the windows.
We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Casa do Jasmim. Super friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and a great location that was only a 20 min scenic walk away from most attractions. Great views from the balcony too!
Great location, comfortable, and friendly staff!
I had a fantastic stay at Casa do Jasmim. Staff was very friendly and welcoming, building was on quite street, and great location close to bars, restaurants, and sites. I would definitely stay here again!
Excellent!!!
Adorable converted house with interesting architectural details in a great neighborhood! I was particularly impressed by the breakfast, which was so fresh and included a variety of items each day such as fresh fruit, sautéed and fresh vegetables, both savory and sweet pastries, cakes, cheeses and meats, breads, eggs. I also appreciated having access to coffee, tea, water all day. My room was well appointed with a comfortable bed, AC/heating unit, desk, tea kettle, safe, fridge, shampoo/lotion. Arrived early and they held my bag for me. Travelers should know the place requires the use of stairs. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
Casa do Jasmim is a very sweet and pleasant place to stay, located in the heart of Lisbon but at a very reasonable price. The property is old and a tiny bit tired in spots but the rooms are well-appointed, the beds very nice with good linens and the breakfast room sunny and comfortable, with a full buffet and good coffee.
This was my favorite place to stay out of like 6 places in a 25 day span in Europe. The customer service is top notch. The staff is super friendly. Room and facilities are sparkling clean and beautiful. There was an amazing breakfast buffet provided in the morning. Would def stay here again.
This was my first time staying at Casa do Jasmim. I was very pleased with my choice and I had a great time there. This is a hidden jam in Lisbon. The staff are great, the rooms are large with all the amenities, the location is fantastic. I give 5 Star.
Love This Little Gem With Wonderful People
My second stay at the enchanting Casa du Jasmin. As always, a delight. The rooms are beautiful, the beds, comfortable, the common rooms lovely, the breakfast superb and varied. I have stayed in well over a thousand hotels the past five years cycling around the world and this is one of my favorites. Really first rate. Most importantly, the people who work here—all of them from front desk to kitchen and housekeeping—-are lovely, warm, welcoming people. First rate people + first rate hotel = stay here. You will be very glad you did.
LOVED It!
Wonderful stay! Staff were wonderful, Alessandra in particular. All were warm, and wonderful and welcoming. The breakfast is Superb. The bed was comfortable . The room spotless. The cleaning and cooking staff marvelous. Lovely old house turned guesthouse, an easy walk to lots of interesting sights. Really great. Obrigado!!! Michael Himes
A hidden gem! Completely reasonable price. Included a great breakfast spread and WOW the staff are 12/10! Keep doing what you’re doing Casa Do Jasmin, you are it!
Everything was great; location, staff, service and room was so beautiful and spacious with awesome views of the city. Would definitely recommend it to any friend visiting Lisbon.
Great Stay
Friendly staff made a big impression on us, especially Bruna the manager who was helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was excellent and had outdoor dining space. Our room was very clean, spacious and air conditioned. It is an older building with original architectural details on a quiet pretty street. The main staircase should be refreshed with new carpeting to match the rest of the property.
Great place. Friendly people, nice rooms, good breakfast and the area is full of restaurants
staff was super friendly, accommodations are rustic but very comfortable, had everything you needed, wifi worked well. would definitely stay again. the staff were beyond helpful and kind.
The staff were helpful, attentive and available. I felt welcomed. The breakfasts were enjoyable and full of choice and there was a lovely shady terrace to have it at, as the weather was very warm.
I did not appreciate waiting 90 minutes to check-in after confirming our arrival time. The room had an open plan with no bathroom doors so there is no privacy during your private time.
Overall a great experience! Highly recommended!
Perfect Stay
We loved the hotel, the kitchen staff and receptionist were so, so nice, and the room was really pretty and well equipped with everything we needed. It's in a wonderful location and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The breakfast was also absolutely delicious with so many options!
We had a great stay and really enjoyed our time in Lisbon. Everyone was really nice and friendly and went above and beyond to help us have a happy and comfortable staying. Until next time!

The property was lovely - such a great part of town with a park on either side. It's a short walk away from several different restaurants as well as a laundromat. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of items especially pastries but our favorite was the bacon! Our room was quite spacious even with the slated roof lines & our patio balcony provided great sunset views. If you're in the area, check out The Midnight Espresso!
