The experience was great from before we got there to after we left. The staff at Casa da Galeria is amazing! They are super friendly and professional. They will answer any questions you have or help you with anything you need. They were proactive even before we got there. Their breakfast is amazing. You order what you want to eat every day and they come right on time. They even packed us a bag of stuff since we were leaving for the airport early. They have a tiny parking garage for 3 cars but there are other parking spots nearby for free and for a fee. We had no problem finding a spot for 5 days we were there. The rooms have all the amenities you need. Overall, it was great staying here and we would stay here again. Highly recommended!! Beatriz, Marlene, Liliana and Pedro, THANK YOU!

A well-designed, well-equiped and comfortable studio appartment. A friendly and well-organised team run the property with great attention to detail. The breakfasts are great and the location is ideal for the local bars and restaurants. I can wholeheartedly recommend Casa da Galeria!

Best stay!!! The staff here is just simply wonderful and the place is beyond perfect. Close to everything super quiet, super clean all the amenities. Plus the artwork is wonderful. And there is a garage for parking a car

Fabulous stay! Staff was excellent! Clean, modern, spacious, great breakfast! Parking is limited but street parking is ok once you figure it out. Above & beyond expectations!

I would have given all 10’s but there was construction going on right next to our suite:( Everyone one was lovely. Helped with recommendations and provided as guidance as they could. I would totally stay again!!! Best place I’ve ever stayed!!

Such a beautiful and quaint property in an excellent location. This is a hidden gem, with special details and the best customer experience I've had in a very long time. The free breakfast was delivered to our room daily and was fresh and local. The rooms were spacious and clean. Beatrice and staff were extremely helpful, even well before I arrived. This made my vacation more memorable I will definitely stay here again.

Absolutely stellar stay at Casa da Galleria. Wonderful breakfast every morning filled with fresh local ingredients, staff that went above and beyond, and lovely accommodations. The hospitality was top notch and we would highly recommend staying here.

A lovely and comfortable property with very attentive staff

It was our first time at the island and Sao Miguel. Since the arrival at the airport to the last day, it was like we were at home! Personal thanks to the owner and the entire staff taking care of the family. Hey, let's include 'Host" the cat too!

Absolutely Excellent!

We spent our last 3 nights on Sao Miguel here and our 2 boys loved it. The staff members are absolutely amazing! The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is excellent. We had an early flight on our last day, and they even made our breakfast to go. Everyone is so kind and they all go above and beyond.

Highly recommend! The staff here are all wonderful and kind. We really enjoyed the experience and would say it was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Pros: - quiet location, family friendly, highly walkable close to restaurants, supermarkets, harbourfront/whalewatching, sightseeing - room was very clean, modern and spacious for 2 adults and 2 kids (1 bathroom, 1 kitchen, 1 king and 1 pullout couch) - staff were very flexible in providing breakfast night before an early trip/excursion - staff were accommodating and helped us with recommendations (hotsprings and restaurants), accomodated early check-in and even provided an extra phone charger to use - small clean gym onsite - cute & friendly resident cat - nice art displayed in the hotel and available for sale, nice free small art exhibit connected to the hotel - free hazelnut chocolates in the lobby - nice free parting gift on check out - communication was great (even used WhatsApp us when they needed to tell us something) - kitchen fully stocked with all necessities, clean, with nice appliances to use - beds nice Cons: - pool is a little small and cold but kid friendly and I’m sure it’s very nice during the summer, we went during April when it was a little milder - parking is tricky (small and limited) but the staff were very accommodating in giving us a space in their garage, there is free parking nearby but can fill up quickly - sauna was not operational and under maintenance but looked clean and comfortable

Amazing Boutique Hotel

This was an amazing hotel in a great location! I've never stayed in such an awesome hotel, especially for the price! The room has a little kitchenette, including stovetop and dishwasher, and it was completely stocked. The bed was super-comfortable and the room quite spacious. Breakfast was delivered to your room at your specified time, using the customized order form you'd fill out the night before. When I had an early morning departure, they delivered my breakfast the night before! I highly recommend this hotel!

An absolute gem

Words alone cannot adequately describe how awesome this place is. The value is unmatched. The location is ideal. The staff very cordial and generous with any help you may need. My only trifling complaint was that the pillows offered were either too soft or too firm leading to neck pain. When i informed a staff of this, she immediately presented me with a pillow that was just right. They seem to anticipate your every need. I would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful boutique hotel with an integrated art gallery. We’ve stayed in many hotels around the world and this just has to be our favourite. It is one of a kind. Our one bedroom apartment was top notch and the level of front desk customer service is exceptional. The cherry on top is the breakfast that is delivered to your room at a time of your choosing. The location is central with good restaurants close by. Don’t dither, just book it!

The staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect for our stay. The hotel is close to downtown and parking close by. A delicious breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. Highly recommend this hotel.

We loved this place to no end. Absolutely perfect in all respects. Super clean, super well equipped. All members of the team were generous, helpful and always, always friendly. The breakfasts, which are served in the apartment at the time of our choice, are delicious - we can choose among many different options. There is a sauna, a pool, a fitness room: all excellent. Wifi worked perfectly. And there is also Host, the charming and friendly cat! What a wonderful place. We would go back any time and I recommend without any reservation!

Amazing Visit

This is the best place I’ve ever stayed. Super clean, modern and comfortable. The staff go out of their way to make these apartments feel like you are at home. We stayed here over the holidays and they brought us Christmas cake and New Year’s gift. The staff are so thoughtful. The quality of everything is amazing-towels, kitchen equipment, bedding, pillows. We were really sad to leave this place. I would recommend parking in one of the nearby lots as the narrow streets in Ponta Delgada are a bit stressful. Overall this place and the staff are amazing!!!

The staff at Casa da Galeria was just as amazing as the hotel itself. Beautiful people and beautiful surroundings. They serve a lovely and very substantial breakfast and gave me a special surprise on my birthday. Absolutely wonderful. The steam, sauna and rooftop pool are also amazing. The sheets were very luxurious and everything was monogrammed . Very much a 5 star hotel in my book.

Casa is a terrific find and a great place to stay . Nicole is the manager and her personality radiates through all the staff . It is really worth booking one if the larger apartments . They offer airport pickup and although our flight was almost 90 mins late Nuno was there with a big welcome .

This place is excellent. The staff are really kind. The rooms are spotless, modern, and spacious. The hotel is a few minutes walk to the city center. On my last day, they prepared a go-to breakfast because my flight was early in the morning.

We were extremely pleased with the property and accomodations. Well appointed rooms, pool, sauna, steam room, fitness room. Beds were great. Delivered breakfast was customized and outstanding. Staff was great. 5 stars plus!

We were so impressed with this property! Beautiful, clean and they have friendly staff. It’s boutique like and luxe. We had an apartment and it was so nice to have the space and be able to get local groceries. The breakfast is delish and you can customize it a bit. It is nice because they bring it to your room. The gym and pool areas are small but very nice. A nice steam room and sauna too. We would stay there again and recommend it to others!

Nice and exceptional. A nice gallery of art at the entrance of th ground floor. Arrival and reception was very good. Next to all these great things, the people of the this are very kind and welcoming.

Appart’hotel au centre ville de ponta delagda. Parking proche de l’établissement. Appartement avec équipements de qualité. Literie très confortable Nous y avons passé notre dernière nuit avant de nous rendre a l’aéroport (proche de l’aéroport)

Top notch in Ponta Delgada!

A fantastic place in Ponta Delgada. We went to the Azores for hiking. Found this place which seemed to be a nice hotel, not only for the modern interior design but also for the possibility to prepare some food for the our excursions. Even if we did have som expectations we were happily surprised. The room was spacious with a separate comfortable sleeping area, a well equipped kitchen and dining area and a bathroom. We found all we needed and there were plenty of storage space. The staff were always extremely friendly and accommodating. On top of the hotel there was a small pool, a sauna and a gym. A delicious breakfast was delivered punctually every morning to the door. Except for a basic "package" there were plenty of extra choices for free. We really enjoyed our vistit to Casa da Galeria!
