A lovely hotel near the old city without being in the old city so it’s not noisy.
Nice and close to the old city for walking, the breakfast was pretty below average and only had the option of toast and eggs
This is a small hotel, outside the historic centre of Cartagena but only a short walk to the city wall (though involving a difficult crossing of a very busy road). The staff are friendly and very helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Only a short walk to a decent beach, but there is not much else in the immediate area.
The hotel is more of a bed a breakfast. Staff were Fantastic and felt like a home. It’s about a 15 min walk to downtown but after a day of downtown that was a relief. Cartagena is hotttt tho. Humidity was around 40 Celsius in November so be ready for that. The hotel was perfect for a solo traveller and I felt like I was in someone’s home in the best way. That said the room is just a bed and a bathroom. They did however have items upon request. No fridge but the AC which if you’ve never been to Cartagena is a non negotiable and the staff were the best part. Would def staff here again.
Loved it!
The hotel is beautiful house, the breakfast was very good, with daily fresh fruit and juice, the staff was amazing and we loved Cartagena! Very close to the wall city.
Excellent friendly staff
Very cute and clean room, stayed for a couple of nights and absolutely loved it. It is a gated hotel with 24 hr reception. The staff, Alexa and Jesus Rafael were very kind and helpful. The air conditioning truly works!! The breakfast is your typical homemade colombian breakfast of eggs how you like them with toast, fresh juice, and fresh fruit. It is served a bit late in the morning so we were cutting it close to meet up with our tour at 750 am but we made it work. The area is not too far from the tourist spots but it is in a quieter area where you can get some quality sleep. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and I would stay here again!
Owner was absolutely rude. The area around the hotel is not nice.
Amazing staff
This is a quant little hotel. The hotel staff is wonderful. If you’re looking for a layback type of hotel this is it. You literally can walk out your front door to the pool area, if you get one of the new rooms in the back. AC is great in the rooms. No AC elsewhere. Walking distance to town
Really a wonderful experience. Rafael was super helpful giving us recommendations for dining. Very close to the walled city, 5-10 min walk. Also close to the beach. We walked everywhere, no problems. Very good value for the money. The breakfast every day was amazing! All the staff were very kind and friendly.
I wanted to stay somewhere charming and not a sterile, impersonal chain hotel. The tiled floors are gorgeous and the simple white linens just perfect. It felt effortless. The staff are warm, smiling, accommodating and calm. The pool was being cleaned which was disappointing. There was some building work and freshening up happening but nothing that affected us. Our room was huge. Mattress is very firm. Hotel is in a quieter residential street a few minutes from the wall and La Serrazuela mall. It is gated so staff will let you in and out. So it’s very secure. We did not feel unsafe walking in the area after dark. Breakfast was really good value as it was included. My favorite was the omelette or the pancakes. This is a simple hotel and worth every penny.
Perfectly situated in a quiter part of the outskirts to the historic center. This is a former home of a local family adapted to provide six air conditioned comfortable rooms. The pool was partly out of action while we were there..but solved on our last two days so still got to cool of in it and it was still not a huge inconvinience..the shower was perfect to provide relief from the heat at the end of the day. Staff are very helpful and friendly..so you will feel at home. For us it was a perfect stay. Thank you Casa Bustamante.
Nice property, well situated
Casa Bustamante is more like a B&B in terms of its hospitality (and its architecture - very much like a family hacienda). It's on a quiet street despite being only a short walking distance to the walled Cartagena antigua; it offers free breakfast plus a small swimming pool for cooling off. Very comfortable accommodations at a very reasonable cost.
Excellent environment , clean, quiet , convenient location, very friendly and courteous staff
Casa Bustamante was the perfect location to explore the old town of Cartegena. It’s a beautiful colonial house that has furnishings and pictures from the original family. The pool is an oasis from the bustle of Cartegena and the breakfast is delicious. The best part of this hotel is the staff. Miguel is so kind, helpful and attentive it felt like we were at a five star location. Manuel was also wonderful! We couldn’t have been happier at a choice to stay in Cartegena. Thanks Miguel for making our stay so memorable. We definitely will come back here in the future.
This charming establishment exceeded my expectations in every way, making my vacation in this vibrant city truly unforgettable. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff. From start to finish, this establishment provided a level of service and attention to detail that left me thoroughly impressed and utterly delighted. They were always ready with helpful recommendations and were more than happy to answer any questions I had about Cartagena's attractions, dining options, and activities. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and valued. Their warm smiles and eagerness to assist created an atmosphere of genuine hospitality. They didn't just meet my needs; they anticipated them. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location of this hotel is a dream for any traveler. Situated within the heart of Cartagena, it was a perfect starting point for exploring this enchanting and walkable city. Whether I wanted to wander through the historic Old Town, admire the vibrant street art, or indulge in the local cuisine at charming restaurants, everything was within easy reach on foot. And, of course, the proximity to the beach was the icing on the cake. my stay at this Cartagena hotel was nothing short of magical. Impeccable cleanliness, outstanding friendliness, a prime location, and a tailor-made experience made it an unforgettable journey.
This is a beautiful property and the staff was incredible. Always very attentive, professional, polite, and always willing to help. I had an excellent stay and highly recommend it.
Amazing place close to ciudad amurallada, peaceful to rest, full of plants, good breakfast with 4 choices. Staff was amazing, friendly and helping with everything, specially Rafael. We had very pleasant stay for 5 nights. Pool was nice after a hot afternoon in the city. Air condition, hot water, towels to the beach, everything well thought.
Authentic Historic Hacienda. Beautiful garden and pool, good breakfast
We were warmly greeted on our arrival. Rafael at the front desk was very helpful with suggestions and knowledgeable about Cartagena. Our room was spacious and clean. All the staff at Casa Bustamante were amazing. We highly recommend this boutique hotel for a very pleasant stay.
What a lovely hotel! It’s a former house with around 8 rooms with comfortable common areas, including an outdoor terrace and a swimming pool. The price included breakfast between 7 and 10am. Our room had a rain shower head with excellent water pressure. The room also had a fridge and some minibar items. Miguel, the day manager, was helpful and gracious. The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from the old walled city in a quiet neighborhood. The old city is fun but quite noisy at night with music in the bars and restaurants and people in the streets. I would gladly stay again at this hotel and recommend it highly.
Casa Bustamante is a small and intimate hotel with a lot of heart. The staff are very kind, attentive, and welcoming. Miguel always asked how our trip was going and he was usually the kind face that welcomed us back after a night out! The hotel has a beautiful patio with a clean, relaxing pool. The patio is also where they serve a delicious breakfast each morning. If you’re visiting Cartagena, I thoroughly recommend this beautiful hotel!
Hotel was clean and affordable. The staff were super friendly, and the free breakfast was way better than what I’m used to in a free hotel breakfast
Nice property, staff is friendly, quiet location. Would definitely recommend
Great place to stay, peaceful and very close to the walled city, the service was excellent, everyone was super kind. I loved the house, it is gorgeous and has been really well preserved. The rooms are very spacious and confortable.
Peaceful hotel with fantastic staff
We absolutely loved our stay here. The hotel is very peaceful, the room was very spacious with a comfortable bed. The staff are so lovely and very attentive. Although located outside the old city, it was only a 15 min walk to get there.
Excellent service, amazing building, located right outside the wall of the old city, friendly neighborhood. Everything was super! Highly recommended!
Nice little hotel
Great place to stay staff super friendly
Very nice hotel , will be staying more often when i arrive
Location and customer service!
It's located just outside the historic centre, which was actually great because it was always very crowded and noisy inside the walled part of the city. The property is a bit dated but in the same way it was charming and comfortable. One of the staff members, Miguel, was very helpful - appreciate it!
Very safe Great location. Staff could not be more attentive. Very reasonable and great value. Barely a 5 minute walk to the walls of the old city. Save money and be very comfortable at this cute little place. Delicious breakfast. A wonderful find.
Good choice in Cartagena
I was impressed with the service. The room was large and bed confortable. The breakfast was good although a bit too small. t is probably not the best hotel or Casa in Cartagena, but I liked my stay and It is worth the price !
A Really Nice Hotel
Very comfortable, clean, wonderful staff. A great location within easy walking distance of the old city.
Great location right outside the walled city
I loved how helpful the staff were. Our room was excellent. Loved the pool and the hotel environment.
Love love love this property! Staff is amazing, food is excellent and a really groovy/unique hotel. Decorations are perfection. This was by far the best hotel I have stayed in Colombia!
Very friendly staff. Near to everything worth seeing. Old fashion converted home. Very comfortable
Place to relax
Their breakfast was amazing. You can choose between 4 different types of breakfast. They are just located outside of the old city. Quiet place and very friendly people. The room gets cleaned every day and you get extra towels for the pool/beach.
It’s a nice quiet hotel. Small and charming. Very short walk to the old city.
This hotel does NOT have a concierge and only one person on staff (who was not there the first two days we were staying there) speaks English. Given this, we were unable to enquire and get assistance for such things as tours, boats to visit islands, etc. Rooms are all in one floor and located close to check in area so at night you could hear phone ringing, people talking, noise from street. Rooms had little boxed in patios (with large walls and therefore no views). Although hotel is only a few blocks from walled city, I would recommend staying in walled city or at more upscale hotels in other areas.
I loved the hotel. The room was quaint and clean, and the staff was very friendly. The location is perfect, about a five-minute walk to the walled city, and a small Mexican restaurant with delicious tacos a two-minute walk away. I highly recommend this hotel, a great alternative to being right in the hustle and bustle and crowds of the Old City.
Mi casa es su casa
Casa Bustamante is a small boutique hotel in a beautiful residence. It is just outside the old city walls and a short, safe walk. The room had high ceilings and excellent AC. The shower was powerful with ample hot water. Breakfast is a highlight with set menus of delicious and fresh ingredients. The typico comes with amazing arenas, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee. There is a small pool, and the beach is very close. Please note: the staff either cannot or will not speak English. It was not a barrier for our stay.
Our first time in Cartagena and the staff made our stay fantastic. Each morning we enjoyed fresh coffee and a very nice breakfast. Great pool to cool off in the afternoon. Close to the walled city for us to walk to. Highly recommended.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and had beautiful tile. There was a very nice pool in the courtyard.
friendly staff, comfortable stay
This place is very welcoming and has a friendly and helpful staff.hop on hop off bus stop is close and the bus station for Mar sol is quite close. The room was good
The hotel was beautiful and the rooms very spacious, I like that the hotel only has only 6-8 rooms, it is more personal.
Nice comfort and very frindly
It a very nice place locat close to old city ,frindly staff, good brekfast.
Comfortable but not stylish room
Comfortable stay but more basic than expected. Bathroom, partially open air, was design highlight. Bedroom very bland. Good breakfast.
Best breakfast ever!
The hotel is very clean, the staff is cordial and kind, and the breakfast is the best. Do yourself a favor and ask for cheese carimanholas!
Good, decent hotel for the price. Good to be away from hustle of the walled city. Loved the details of the old house. Only negative was that they recommended Langosta Restaurant and that was a mistake!
Great Boutique Hotel outside of the Walled City
We loved our stay at Casa Bustamante! The room was great, plus a beautiful main lobby and pool area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our bags there for the day after we checked out which was super helpful; I had ended up leaving my charger in the room and they even wrapped it up and put it in a plastic bag and added it to our luggage collection so I wouldn't forget it again after we had retrieved our bags which was so thoughtful! The location is outside of the walled city, only about a ten minute walk. To get to the city you have to cross a pretty busy 4 lane street but it's possible to take a cab to and from the hotel and it's only about 7,000 pesos to do so. The best things to do in the area are to go to the Walled City (or better yet, sit on the wall itself and watch the sunset!), eat lots of ceviche, and go to the Getsemani Barrio to see the street art. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cartagena!
Cartagena
Great little hotel near the Walled City. Within walking distance to the Old City, the mall, and the fortress! Great, friendly service. Very little parking inside the compound. Beautiful hotel.
Great for 4 days except when we changed rooms the last night.i got bitten during the night . The beds were hard too but I find that everywhere in Colombia . Staff were just lovely
charming, romantic, and super friendly
Highly recommend this quaint boutique hotel. It's exactly like the photos: I was charmed, as were the other guests. Free wifi; air condition; delicious breakfasts; sweet little pool. A five to ten minute walk to the walled city and cheap cab ride to/from airport. You'll love it.
Fantastic little hotel
This is a great little hotel, it is very close to the old city and it takes just a couple of minutes to walk there. The hotel itself is like an old colonial house, and my bedroom was huge, with super efficient air conditioning and great bathroom with a very efficient shower that always had loads of hot water. Best thing about the hotel was the staff, who were really friendly and went out of there way to be as helpful as possible. There was a choice of breakfast which was simple. It always delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Bustamonte is All You Need
Facility was all I needed. Staff was pleasant, eager to please and attentive. Angelina is the star if the show.
Nice hotel close to Cartagena's old town
The hotel staff was very friendly. From the hotel you can easily walk to the old town. The beds were confortable but we had a problem with the AC which didn't work during our last night there. They fixed it promptly in the morning. The towels are way too small and they should also give at least two bottles of water as a courtesy to the guests, Something normal in any hotel of this category.
Small, quiet and very close to the walled city
You can walk or take a taxi to the wall city. Personnel very friendly and eager to help. Breakfast was very good with options
Amazing
This hotel was amazing! The AC worked beautifully which was much needed with the Colombian heat. They had hot water unlike some hotels. The room was big and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was so nice too. We spent a lot of time in the pool with my 9 year old and since it only has about 5-6 rooms so it’s not crowded. The complimentary breakfast was soooo good! The hotel staff was amazing. They brought us towels while in the pool without us asking. They helped with our luggage’s to and from the car. They made the hotel experience that much better (great job!) We had a great experience and the location was also good because it was walking distance from el centro.
Nice boutique hotel but felt like a museum
Nice, well priced hotel but antique style and felt like a museum so not as relaxing as I had hoped especially since I went with a 3 year old. My room was off the lobby too so no privacy and any noise in the lobby could be heard in the room and vice versa. Bed was quite hard. But it is a conveniently located hotel and very clean and staff was friendly.
rooms were dated and smelled musty. bed was uncomfortable. i actually checked out early.
Nice place of respite from the old town and Bocagrande. We felt welcome and safe within a few blocks of the walled city. Also, there was an excellent made to order breakfast with fresh juices. Definitely worth a return visit here.
Very cozy hotel near the old town.
This is a little gem in Cartagena. The hotel staff is amazing and very attentive. It almost feels like you are staying at a family home.
Close to beach
Nice place, hotel is close to beach. Stuff is very nice. Hotel Breakfast is very good . But there was no hot water in the hotel bathroom when we stayed there. I hope they fix the it now.
Breezy Hotel Close to the Old City
Great big rooms with air conditioning and a tasty morning breakfast by the pool. The staff was very friendly, beds were big, rooms had outside space, and showers were amazing.
We stayed at this wonderful hotel for five nights, and highly recommend it. The room was large and comfortable. The grounds (pool, patio, etc.) are very nice for relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. But the best part was the staff, all of whom were super helpful and kind. Casa Bustamante is just a couple of blocks outside the old city so it is easy to walk to museums, shops, and restaurants.
Good, near the old city center and very nice staff
Love it!
Super cute hotel boutique. The satff and the location are perfect. Miguel was so nice with us and always attentive to see if we needed anything. The breakfast was on point. I totally recommend the hotel and the staff was amazing!
Classy/classic
Great staff!
Lovely small hotel, quite close to the old town.
The hotel is in a beutiful old colonial building, tastefully furnished. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Great Hotel—Note to Owner (or Manager) you should include the two bicycles (which only one was available since staff took the other to run errands) as an amenity, instead of charging $3 dollars extra— specially since the hotel is just outside the walled city and hike from beaches; It's a fabulous hotel— if you add the logo to the bikes it would serve as promotion and add a great perk!!!
Beautiful old home boutique hotel
A very quiet hotel. Lovely breakfasts in courtyard. Secure. Helpful staff.
Delightful, characterful hotel not far from walled
After reading a few of the negative reviews of the hotel I almost didn't book but am glad we did. The walk to and from the walled city was only 5 to 10 minutes and we felt quite safe walking through the residential area outside the walled area with some expensive houses and smart high rise apartment blocks. We watched fishermen hauling in their nets in the morning on the nearby beaches. The hotel was delightful, we had a big room with huge comfortable bed and walk-in shower. It was clean and relaxing. The pool was lovely to cool off in, especially at night. The staff were helpful and breakfast fine.
Five minutes walk from the Old Town
Casa Bustamante is located in a residential neighborhood an easy (5 minutes)walk to the Old Town. My husband and I walked back and forth every night and felt safe, but I probably wouldn't do the walk on my own. Beautiful old building, nice large room, clean bathroom. Nice breakfast by the pool. The real treat was the staff - friendly, helpful and welcoming at all times.
Surpassed all my expectations!!!
I have been to Cartagena before but it was the first time for my son and my mother so I wanted it to be great for them. I read the reviews before choosing this hotel so I expected it to be good... never though it was going to be that good! The staff are great people, always ready to be of service. Doña Alma and Miguel were the ones we interacted with the most but I can tell all of them were nice not only because they had too but because it is truly in their nature to be kind and caring. The hotel is small and quite which is what I was looking for, not crowded, we could eat our breakfast in their beautiful patio without the noise and the rush that are characteristic of big hotels. The beach is located within walking distance as well as the historic center so we had lots of options to eat because of the many restaurants in the area. I am very happy with my choice and since we have to go back to Cartagena next year we are definitely staying at Casa Bustamante again without a doubt! Thank you guys, you made our stay a truly beautiful experience!!!
A gem
Gorgeous, huge room with a/c and private bath in historic home on quiet residential street just outside the city walls. The pool is perfect for a cool evening swim after a long hot day of strolling around downtown. Great breakfast. Extremely helpful staff. Very convenient to the airport. Would definitely stay here again.
A wonderful place to stay
Our family of five stayed at Casa Bustamante for five nights and were extremely happy with the hotel. The staff caters for your every need and if something goes wrong they promptly work out the issue. Our room was very spacious and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped and the shower devine. Breakfast options were plentiful and the swimming pool larger than expected. To our surprise the hotel is really close to the old city and the nearest gate just a few minutes walk away. At the end of the street is a museum dedicated to the memory of Rafael Nuñes which we unfortunately didn't get a chance to visit.
Nice place. Especially convenient for a car
Since it’s just outside the walls, it’s easy to access by car (and there is on-premises free car parking), yet you can walk to the old city. The outside gates are always locked, so its secure, but be aware that you may need to attract the doorman’s attention so that you can be get in. And the bell on the front gate is on the INSIDE for some strange reason! (When we first arrived it was dark and we thought the place was shut down!) Good job of maintaining the ambiance of a Spanish mansion. Our room, immediately behind reception, was quiet, very large, included a small patio and had a unique glass-roofed bathroom. Breakfast was pleasant with western and Colombian options but would likely get repetitive if you stayed more than a few days. For dinner, there is a top restaurant within a block, or you can walk (or get a cab) to the many others in the city—the cluster around Plaza de San Diego is the closest, about 15-20 minutes walk.
Cesar, Alma & Miguel were wonderful. Making our stay very enjoyable.
Charming boutique hotel close to the walled city.
We enjoyed everything about our stay at Casa Bustamante. The whole place has real character. Our room was very large and clean with A/C that kept us cool. The courtyard pool is nice and private, and breakfast was simple but filling and very convenient. The staff were very accommodating and we really liked that there was always someone available - it felt quite safe.
Disappointing on all levels
Close to the walled city is true, but you must walk along the wall amidst busy traffic to enter fairly far and then you're not exactly at the part of the city with restaurants and shops. The beach requires crossing a super busy 4 lane roadway and has dark packed sand and is very unattractive. A homeless guy was bathing in the water. The staff did little to engage, were not at the front desk when we wanted to walk to the beach and since the front gate is locked we had to wait for them. The building is quite pretty and attractive from the outside and the neighborhood seemed safe. The pool area with plastic chaises is unimpressive. The room was large, but the sheets thin, with a thin bedcover, very cheap pillows and worse of all a plastic lining over the mattress. The wifi was very weak. The bathroom amenity products junky and dark strands of hair on the floor. The shower and pressure was the only redeeming factor.
Comfy spacious boutique hotel in Cartagena
I could not be more pleased with my stay at Casa Bustamante hotel. Everything was perfect. The room was huge, the decor was beautiful, and the staff were as nice and helpful as anyone could be. The pool was clean and warm. The breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent. The hotel looks exactly like the photos shown. Nice hot shower. I really enjoyed my stay. It is a 5 to 8 minute walk to the Cartagena walled city, so the location is great. Also close to the airport.
A beautiful place to crash in Cartagena!
We only stayed one night at Casa Bustamente, but I wish it had been more! The room was very comfortable and had every amenity we could ask for. Like much of the beds we encountered in Colombia, the mattress was a bit firm, but we both still slept well. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful upon arrival, and we were able to eat a delicious breakfast right at 7:00 am before our flight out of Cartagena. Plus, the hotel itself is beautiful with a nice little swimming pool to relax and cool off. Again, we only stayed one night, so it's not THE review to fall back on, but no complaints about our experience.
Quiet hotel near old city
It was a good hotel with great staff. The staff went above and beyond to help me out when the airline lost my luggage. The rooms were very large and in a decent neighbourhood close to the old city. The pool was a real bonus. It is a few blocks from the beach but the beach is not really useable in this area. It is quite a distance from the newer downtown area and will require the use of a taxi for a lot of your excursions.
great hotel, poor location
The first 4 nights we spent in the room right by the front desk. It was a large room with a king bed and a twin (we asked for two beds). There were French doors out to a small sitting area and another large window which faced the street, so we always had the big wooden shutters closed, making the room a bit dark. I didn't care because I could always go to the courtyard to be outside and enjoy the sun. The bathroom was also spacious. The room and bathroom worked well for my wheelchair. The other room we had was the one by the pool/breakfast area. It was a bit smaller. It had one big window, but again, it leads to the courtyard, so we kept the shutters closed. There were some high windows in the room, so is was actually lighter than the other room. The AC didn't work as well in this room. One time it started dripping water all over the king bed, and each night it would turn off in the middle of the night, so we'd have to wake up fully to turn it back on. There are not any instructions for the remote control, so there was a learning curve.
Boutique hotel, just 5 min walk from old town
5 min walk from old walled town on quiet street. Outdoor pool. Lovely breakfast included and served in the back pool area. A two minute walk from Mar Sol bus company that will take you to Santa Marta for 42,000 peso. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room suited our family of 4 with a queen and two singles. Grocery store located a few minutes away by foot and refrigerator in room came in very handy.
Safe Haven
Nice place, muy tranquilo
Comfortable guesthouse, good breakfast
Hotel is comfortable and clean. Located a very short walk to the walled city, or a cheap cab ride from any major Cartagena destination (including the airport). Nice small pool, nice outdoor breakfast, friendly staff.
Great little place just outside the city walls
Great stay outside the walled city. This really is an extension of the walled city in terms of safety. Still falls into the walled city cab zone which is a flat 6000 COP between any two locations. Very little traffic north of the walled city. If you book a hotel in Boca Grande in the south, prepare for a lot of traffic on weekends to go back and forth as there is only one way in and out. Nearest grocery store is place called "Jumbo" about 10 minute walk (2 minute cab) by the fortress.
Excellent stay
Wonderful people, large room, large bathroom, excellent bed. Family oriented. Good breakfast! Nice pool and outdoor area.
Excellent, attentive, friendly
Highly recommended and an especially nice staff. Fine location just outside city walls.
Amazing experience!
I don't like to give consistent five-star ratings, but I cannot say enough good things about our stay here. The house has an amazing charm and character about it. The rooms were great, the air-conditioning and ceiling fan were perfect and the swimming pool is clean and inviting and a great place to spend some time after the humidity and heat of walking and exploring the city. To top it off, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The breakfast was cooked to order, quick, and tasty. It is the best place we have stayed in our travels so far.
Great stay
The hotel staff was outstanding. Personal attention at every moment.
Everything is fine unless power goes out
Which is what happened and then things turn out pretty bad, since you lack air conditioning, TV and internet. Given the climate in Cartagena that is an unacceptable situation, beyond the control of the hotel, except that if it is a frequent happening they should consider having their own emergency power plant. Otherwise it is a pretty good choice.
Perfect boutique hotel for your budget stay
Perfect boutique hotel for your budget stay in Cartagena. Just within 10 minutes walking from the Entrance to the Old Walled City and within 2 minutes from great seafood restaurant "Langosta" this is a very good place to stay. Great wifi, tasty breakfasts, well working A/C. And that's all for about 50% price of a hotels within the City Walls.
Business Trip to Cartagena
Upon arrival the room that I had requested was not the one paid for because the room had to single beds and not the King Size rquested. They manged to solve but that should not happend. The location needs better care in the sorroundings and maintenance of the main access to the hotel.

Unpretentious Historical Hotel, Great Value
Clean and comfortable historical boutique hotel within a short walk to the walled city and beaches. If you like your hotel to be charming, unpretentious and attentive to guests, this is the place. Wonderful breakfast on a lovely outdoor veranda included in the price each day. It is not a family kind of hotel. It is more the kind of hotel where you and another couple linger at breakfast for a couple of hours in deep conversation before heading out to your adventures. The staff could not be nicer.
