Returning guest
The location is amazing and the staff is very helpful and friendly. This is my second time returning to this hotel and have recommended it to other family.
The hotel was very restful and convenient to things in San Isidro. The staff was absolutely wonderful and bent over backwards to help us in all sorts of ways. I'd like to give a special shout-out to manager Michael Azuaje who made the saying, "my house is your house," a reality. In addition, the garden was a very nice bonus for our family -- peaceful, lush, quiet, perfect.
The staff was amazing! Incredibly helpful with any questions that we had. Very tasty breakfasts of various fruits, yogurt, fresh rolls, and eggs cooked to order. Fairly small hotel, with lovely furnishings and garden courtyard.
Comfortable
The room itself was very cute. The bathrooms don’t live up to the standard of everything else but they are in decent conditions and work well. Otherwise is was very comfortable. I would say the best thing was the host. The nicest host I have ever had! Very personable too. He even invited my taxi driver to airport in for coffee while he waited for us and was insisting. Gracias Michael for making our stay memorable. The only thing I would say is that it’s not too close to many food places or attractions so if that is something you don’t mind than definitely worth staying at. Ubers are very cheap though so you can always just take one both ways or at least on way back when you get too tired which is what I did.
Great hotel, pleasant staff
Staff is A . Michael greeted us and showed is around the property. Made us feel extremely welcome and taken of. Rooms are superb and love my balcony. Best boutique hotel I've stayed at, so far.
Definitely will return.
Location location location. Inside upscale neighborhood
Room was filthy with mildew . Towels were old . Carpets were dirty. Horrible place don’t bother.
Excelente
It's a lovely house, secure and located in a well located area, easy walk to shops and places to eat. We enjoyed our breakfast and room.
they let you feel like being at home. Friendly staff
Good location
The hotel is a big house converted into a hotel, the location is excellent, with multiple embassies close by, and almost no street noise surrounding. Breakfast was good with fruits, cereal, eggs the way you want it. The service was good. But the pillow stink, and I fix it with a towel over, comforter very heavy for my likes, but I will come back for the price.
A small but lovely b & b
Photos don't do justice to this lovely and friendly small hotel in the quiet diplomatic region of Lima. Highly recommended
fair hotel
Financial district close to Miraflores
We stayed here for a night. We arrived to Lima on a red-eye flight and reached hotel few hours before checkin. They were nice enough to let us check in few hours early. Miraflores is 10 minutes taxi ride or 30 minutes walk. You are walkable distance to a nice (Whole Foods like) grocery store.
The door outside is unmarked, so it looks much more like a residential home but service was great and room is large with kitchenette. The hotel is in a residential neighbourhood quiet and safe but a quick walk to restaurants.
very good hotel in san isidro lima
we chose because of the locationand enjoyed because of the service
Good location, quiet and secure
Friendly staff, very accomodating, rooms are clean...nothing to envy the luxury hotels, if you're not looking for a resort
Generally good
Bathroom was a bit of a let down but otherwise the room was comfortable. Breakfast wasn't great but on par with b&b breakfasts in Peru
Nice Bed & Breakfast in Great Location
I liked the true bead & breakfast character of this hotel. It was small but did not feel cheap at all. It is in a great location and the staff was always helpful. I wish we had stayed longer to be able to enjoy this hotel more. On my next trip to Lima, I'll definitely try to stay at this hotel.
Great little hotel in quiet suburb of Lima. Plenty of banks, shops and restaurants within a kilometer or so. Fifteen dollar US taxi to centre. Rooms clean and functional with fridge and safe. A/C would have been desirable, although it was unseasonably warm during our stay.
It's like a historical mansion; good service.
I got a flu and they offered to buy medicine and thermometer for me. It's very kind of them to do so.
Nice Hotel in good area
This is my third time to stay in this hotel and I would really recommend to everyone. Nice, clean and friendly staff Breakfast is serve every morning and they offer a good service like a taxi, order food for delivery and many more.
Not recomended, only cheep
Not so good
Cute and charming hotel in decent location
Quick stay so didn't get to enjoy the hotel too much, also didn't get to have breakfast since we left really early the next morning. Adorable place though, clean rooms and nice little courtyard. Would have been nicer on the 2nd floor I think. About a 10 min can ride to Miraflores neighborhood.
Near golf course and a safe area !
Excellent customer service and support ! They can arrange taxi service for you that you know you are safe and dependable that you wouldn't get reaped off !
Charming, friendly and well-located
We loved our stay at Casa Bella. The staff was amazing and helped us with restaurant reservations, cabs, and directions in a prompt, friendly and accurate manner. The location is excellent - in a lovely neighborhood near lots of embassies - but also ruins and parks and an easy cab ride to many other attractions. The breakfast was less than expected from an American B & B but more than adequate to get us started on our day. Our room was interesting in that there were three tiny rooms = one for a closet, one for the toilet, and one for the shower but perfectly comfortable for our stay. The facility has a charming courtyard and is just a warm and friendly place to spend a night or two. Be sure to have the staff set up your taxis because they can save you a lot of money.
Nice hotel in San Isidro
We stayed at Casa Bella for one night and were given a huge room with a kitchen, a dining area and a massive tv. We had to leave at 3 am the next morning so we did not have breakfast. Overall a pleasant experience.
Very nice B&B
Our stay in the B&B was late April 2014. Friendly and helpful staff. B&B is in a quiet location. Reasonably close (within 1-1/2 miles) easy walking distance to various points of interest. Our travel style is not 'high end' posh hotels with lots of amenities, this clean and comfortable B&B fit our preferred travel style nicely. It is sited in the San Isidro district of Lima, which is a relatively modern clean area, without a lot of traffic and in a community of mostly multiple-unit housing, and near several international embassies. Although we would not consider this a 'high end' accommodation, it is relatively near several 'high end' hotels, one with a casio. We highly recommend this B&B to those with travel preferences similar to ours.
Spent three nights - comfortable & accomodating
This hotel offers a very relaxed, homey feel to it. They picked us up at the airport in a clean car, greeted us, let us pick our own room. Breakfast had a nice variety of fresh food each morning. They called a taxi for us each day and stood at the curb to make sure we went in the correct one. Most of the staff speaks English, which was helpful for us. Showers can be finicky with the water. The only drawback I found with this hotel was its location. It is a 15-20 minute walk to any restaurants and very few shops. However, taxis are only US $5-7 around the city.
Large Rooms
Loved the common 'living room' on each floor. My wife and I used it every night to catch up on the email thing and just to sit and relax.
Don´t stay there!!
Only two things good about this ¨boutique hotel¨ : location and the lady at the front desk . Too many details that just say this place is not well maintained . Even the little oven to toast bread for breakfast was broken...first morning a lady of the staff fixed it, second morning again the oven was broken...
Nice casa
Good friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location
Perfect for price
Great big room and a very friendly staff. I found it homely and non-standard in really nice way. Had a huge room. Its not posh or sleek if you are looking for those things. I would certainly recommend it.
The neighborhood is wonderfully quiet and safe while not being far from neither the airport nor downtown. They were wonderfully accommodating setting up tours, restaurant reservations, boarding passes for our flight, and the breakfast was lovely. It felt like a home, and was exceptionally clean! (And I tend to be a bit uptight if a place doesn't seem to be clean!!!). Lima is a very interesting, large city.
Not bad, not good, way too average
Yes, it is in a great location but the hotel and the rooms needs some refurbishment. The photos show a much better picture that what you really get. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, this is a really good point.
great service,great location
We were happy with our stay, airport pickup/drop off service was excellent. clean modern vehicle ,good drivers and reasonable cost.room was clean and comfy, staff very helpful with far better english than our spanish.good location close to the coast and good local reataurants and easy walk to a good shopping centre.happy to recommend!!!!
Old hotel, we got in late and it was very hot. No AC in the room but a small fan that worked okay. Breakfast was decent and included. Location didn't seem that great.
Okay, but you could do better
The hotel is pretty basic. It is far from the City Center (Plaza de Armas) and about a 30 minute ride from the airport. I would recommend travelers to stay near the city center.
great hotel that you can feel as your home
Beautiful place, very safe, and the people was nice with high customer service, however the room need to be improve a little: door in bath open inverse, and people was sleeping in the leaving room waiting for their time check in because they arrived early to the hotel, causing bad impression when somebody visited me early morning.
Business or Leisure
Either for business or the leisure traveller , this is an ideal Hotel/B &B. Location is very safe, with coffee bars and supermarkets a short walk away. The staff are very attentive and speak good english. My room was 104 down stairs which was ideal, the only criticism would be the dark nature of the room meant the main light was not sufficient to read by but with the bed side lights on this helped.I would use this hotel again and have no issue recommending
For business trips
The hotel is in a really nice zone of Lima, near the financial and business center of the city, it's ideal for someone who takes the trip for business reasons. The rooms are very confortable and the hotel have a familiar air aroun it.
Really enjoyed their warm hospitality.
Would stay again.
vacationing in peru
Attentive service. Clean environment. Nice breakfast.
Recommended to stay
great place to stay. very private and secure place, and above all, great rate!
Good value, nice location
Obviously depending on why you are in Lima, this is potentially a good option. Its in a very nice suburb near the Golf and country club, so if you are there on business and will be taking taxis everywhere, its a decent option. Its not within reasonable walking distance of any restaurants, but taxis are cheap (<2 euro to get to most places in Miraflores etc.). It has a nice garden which I liked, and the breakfast is fine. It is cheaper than the larger hotels, and doesnt compromise too much on quality, so I would recommend this hotel, and will most likely stay there next time in Lima.
Nice Hotel
It was nice but I stay only one night. The hotel is quite far from the airport but if you stay more than 1 day, it's probably a good place.
Cozy, clean and comfortable
We were looking for a comfortable, convenient, quiet, clean and affordable place to stay and we found it all at the Casa Bella Hotel. The overall atmosphere is cozy, inviting and quiet, the staff is really kind and attentive, and the stay proved to be one of our best so far. It's our new favorite place and we'll definitely recommend it to anyone who's visiting Lima.
welcome respite
Great little B&B in a safe neighborhood. Airport pickup and transfer-- friendly and on-time and we were billed for taxi service upon departure so we didn't have to worry about payment. Requested and received very spacious room on second level. Second level had separate sitting room and adjacent to it was a small business center with two computers for guest use. Free wi-fi, too. Breakfast served inside or could sit outside in the beautiful garden. However, smokers preferred the garden area. Friendly staff set up city tour for us and made our dinner reservations, too. Cons: beautifully renovated old home, but shows signs of wear. Thin walls and can hear hallway conversations, so try to stay upstairs away from the entry/exit movement.
overnight made worthwhile
very helpful staff recommended an excellent restaurant - made the short stay very positive.
Casa Bella in Lima's San Isidro area
My wife and I attended a conference in Lima and stayed here instead of the "official" hotel. We had a very nice time; the rooms were clean, large, and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious (as you would expect for fruits from a tropical place!) and the employees had a great service orientation. There was a mistake made in our account and it was promptly corrected without question. They earned our highest recommendation!!!
Good for business trip
Good for business trip
Excellent service, poor facilities
Real boutique hotel experience with friendly personal, but hotel facilities under expectations. There was a construction and very noisy all the day. Breakfast was far away from being satisfactory. But one of the best districts in Lima!
VERY NICE SMALL HOTEL.
GREAT LITTLE HOTEL IN A GREAT NEIGHBORHOOD. REALLY NICE STAFF.
My stay at Casa Bella hotel
It's close to the mall and they have drivers that will pick you up at the airport. The staff is bilingual which is a plus and the neighborhood is very safe. The staff is very nice and very help full. They have WiFi, but it's not very good but there is a computer near the front door and any guest is welcome to use it when they want.
Very nice place and very nice people!
Really enjoyed my short stay here. Would definitely stay here again.
Attention to detail
We stayed at the Casa Bella for 2 nights. It was an excellent experience. The only "downer" is that one of the couples was placed for the first night in a room immediately behind reception and adjacent to the outside courtyard (Avoid first floor rooms). She got only 3-4 hrs sleep. The room was changed the next day to a much larger and comfortable room away from the noise. The staff were incredible. Detail oriented and friendly from the manager down to the cleaning and breakfast staff. Although we would not put this hotel in more than the slightly above average category for its accomodations, the service and friendly environment makes it an incredible bargain. We would stay there again and recommend it to others. Location in a residential neighborhood in Isidro was pleasant. Since it is necessary to taxi around the city anyway because of its size, the distance from the center or Miraflores was not a problem.
A lovely B & B in San Isidro
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. It has been completely renovated in the last couple years. The owner is very friendly and made us feel quite at home. We will definitely go back there when we return to Peru. The neighborhood is very safe and lovely and there are restaurants and stores within walking distance.
Warm friendly staff.Very pleasant place.
Great hotel
Very friendly & helpful A great little boutique hotel!
Bella
Beautiful interiors, Super-helpful staff
Nice, comfortable hotel at good price
Hotel room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Wireless internet access in the room worked perfectly. Airport transfer service was arranged as requested. Complimentary breakfast was simple but sufficient. Overall, good value for money.
A pleasant place for business travellers
There were very few tourist at the Casa Bella, but the staff is clearly highly involved with the independent business community, and the hotel is well set up for them.
Welcoming in a big city
The Casa Bella lived up to the good reviews which made us choose it in the first place. The room could have done with a mirror but this was not insurmountable - there was a full length one on the landing. The location felt safe for a pair of females - not great for dining as the only local restaurants were fast food chains, but OK for a few hours pottering about as we were only in transit. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Nice stay in good neighborhood
We arrived in the evening pleased to find that the reception area was still fully operating. Orlando spsoke impeccable English and even went over and beyond the expected when he offered to get us our boarding passes for our flight the following morning. He even connected us (at that late hour) with a travel agent who unfortunately, we could not use with the many schedules we were trying to juggle for our hike up to Machu Picchu. Casa Bella is a warm & intimate home in a safer & nicer neighborhood in Lima. I highly recommend it even if it is a good half hour ride from the airport.
Buen lugar
