Romantic Stay at Carlton Tel Aviv – Perfect
We had an unforgettable stay at Carlton Tel Aviv while celebrating a birthday and Valentine’s Day. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly special, with warm hospitality and thoughtful touches that enhanced our experience. Our room was elegant, spacious, and offered stunning views of the Mediterranean—perfect for a romantic getaway. The hotel even surprised us with a special treat for the occasion, which made the celebration even more memorable. Breakfast on the rooftop was a highlight—delicious, fresh, and served with a breathtaking sea view. The rooftop pool and lounge were perfect for relaxation, and the hotel’s location right by the beach made it easy to enjoy romantic walks along the promenade. Everything was flawless, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate. Carlton Tel Aviv exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return!
Location is incredible and the staff helpful and very welcoming
Five star in every way
Always a pleasure to state this hotel. The staff are very caring and the location is excellent
wonderful visit as always
We went to visit our son and his girlfriend's family. While there he got engaged and they made the engagement party at the Carlton after having had a Fri night dinner with us at the hotel. Food is the best! Views of the water, pools, boats and surfers are wonderful.
We have an amazing time in this hotel. Service and locatyare amazing
Beautiful place
Service and food was great . Location was also great .
Such a great location on the beach with amazing views of ocean. Walk to main shopping area is close and safe thru a great walkway system. Staff is also great.
The Carlton is centrally located, the staff are amazing and the views of the beach are breathtaking.
Property was perfect!
Wonderfully located! Great beach, walkable, close to Gordon Gym, close to shopping, super friendly and helpful staff! Best breakfast in Tel Aviv! Can’t wait to come back!
Friendly and efficient staff throughout. Beautiful views of the sea and surrounding areas and a sumptuous breakfast next to the sea. The hotel is everything it claims to be.
The best
A perfect hotel, one of the best in Israel !!! professional service at a high level never disappoints, everything is excellent. Thank you
4-Star (?) hotel listed as a 5-star
The best feature is the location - on the promenade and about a five-minute walk to Gordon Beach. However, this is by no means a five-star hotel. Four stars at best.
The hotel was great. The staff was accommodating to all of our needs. Breakfast buffet was great. The location was wonderful. Absolutely no complaints.
View in the pool
Great stay
Best hotel in Tel Aviv. Beautiful views, ideal location, fantastic breakfast and excellent service
Amazig
I love the hotel
This is my favorite hotel in Tel Aviv. Rooftop pool, good rooms, amazing views and my favorite breakfast in the world in easily the most spectacular setting. I am not exagerating!!
Hotel service was fantastic. Upgrade was enthusiastically offered. The beach is amazing. The street leaves a lot to be desired. The dining building is OK - not quite up to the 5-star standards of some of the other high end Israeli hotels, but the food was plentiful.
Great view from breakfast area
The hotel is in a perfect location a few steps from the beach. Staff was amazing. Beds were comfortable. Food was fabulous.
nice stay, the room was not clean, especially the bathroom floor was full of hairs.
I recently stayed 2 nights at Carlton Tel Aviv visiting from Australia. My thoughts were that the customer service was friendly and helpful, the room and hotel property/amenities overall was very well presented and clean. I would recommend trying the buffet breakfast by the beach if you happen to stay there. Overall great location, I had hired a car and was a bit unsure about parking though I had read that there was parking 350ft away. However to my convenience there was/is paid underground parking where the hotel is located and a lift that took me straight to the reception. Had a wonderful stay and I personally think a great hotel to stay in Tel Aviv.
Nice place to stay
Front desk had their act together and dealt with my questions efficiently. Room was neat and clean.
The stuff the brakfest the sea view
Excellent staff
Excellent staff
Rooms are very nice
Tel Aviv by the beach
Hotel was not what I expected for the price we paid. Service was not the best, staff was not that friendly.
My Favorite Tel Aviv Hotel
I will for sure be staying here again upon my next trip to Tel Aviv. Great sea view room and amazing service from all staff. Finally, one of the most extensive breakfast buffets, as close to the sea as you could get.
Best in tel aviv
Perfect place for luxury in Tel Aviv without paying crazy prices.
Excellent hotel, excellent breakfast buffet, staff and guest relations were amazingly polite, professional and very willing to resolve any issues. Area around hotel very safe and pleasant to walk day and night. Nice beach infront of hotel.
One of the best spots in Tel Aviv
Great location and very clean. The roof top area with pool is excellent and has an amazing view and great service. Breakfast is excellent with a variety of options and is located on the beach with seafront view. The food at the restaurant is delicious. The SPA and jacuzzi located at the 5th floor has perfect settings for a great relax time with snacks provided. For the room, make sure you check the type of bed you are getting because they have a lot of twin beds but they can change mattresses and give you the queen or king you want.
Great location!
Great location, right on the best beach in Tel Aviv with great access to good restaurants. Hotel is quite dated and could use a renovation in the near future. Service is solid. Quite expensive for the quality but options in Tel Aviv are limited. Not a 5 star property but a solid 4 star.
Wonderful hotel / amazing experience
Our stay at the Carlton was one of the best hotel experiences ever... from the time of check in until the minute we left, we were treated like we were special guests. I would like to give a special acknowledgment to Gila who provided amazing customer service. She is very special and I hope the hotel knows how good she is at her job! The hotel rooms were comfortable, the spa was great, and the rooftop pool and jacuzzi amazing. We had a rental car and they provided valet service which cost around $40/ day but was worth every cent due to the convenience. The breakfast was wonderful and had a view of the beach/surfers/marina. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Amazing hotel. Location, rooms, food and staff are simply amazing. The breakfast buffet is the best I have seen. The staff is always kind and constantly trying to help. Special thanks to Fabian who took care of us, found a doctor that came to the hotel to help me and made sure I had all I needed. Same with Shila at the breakfast, who was sending me special teas to help me with my recovery.
tomer88
real nice room with view to the shore line. the pool was too small and too crowded. prime location
I did not like this stay, at all. I will not be coming back and I would not recommend it to anyone. Let me first say, I used to be a big fan of this hotel, stayed in it several times and used the spa several times. Through the years the hotel slowly deteriorated, and as other 5 star hotels got upgraded and built in Tel-Aviv the Carlton didn't keep up with them. The final straw on this stay was abnoctious behavior by the staff, trying to communicate a perfectly sensible rule. This followed a check in to a smelly room with Marina view VS the full sea view I booked. The room we were moved to was dirty, especially the showers that I ended up cleaning myself. If you're a tourist, do yourself a favour, book one of the other excellent 5 star hotels in Tel-Aviv.
Tel Aviv waterfront is pricey! We tried several hotels in Tel Aviv and found Carlton to offer the best value, especially if you have your heart set on a hotel with a rooftop pool with a restaurant (and who wouldn't!)
Awesome hotel!
Great place, great location.. room set up was a little awkward
Great location and amazing breakfast
BEST Place to stay in Tel Aviv
I have stayed at many hotels in Israel, and I keep coming back to the Carlton for their personalized care and concern for each of their guests. The small feel and personal attention from the staff, I cannot find at other Tel Aviv hotels. The breakfast is incredible and varied and the hotel manager, Gila, comes every morning to breakfast and walks around to each table asking guests how their stay is and if they need anything - this kind of attention is rare and something that draws me back to the hotel each and every time. Gila is warm is wonderful as is the rest of the staff. I have never had a bad experience at this hotel and promise you won't be sorry to stay here. It is in a great location near everything and right on the beach. It's my go-to stay in Tel Aviv trip after trip.
Housekeeping was terrible. Fresh towels were not provided each morning. I had to request fresh towels, even though the old ones were removed. They did not replace the toiletries, nor did they replace tea and coffee.
This property was exactly what I wanted to end my visit! It offered decadent views, delicious room service (try the smoked salmon sandwich and chocolate ice cream) and the most attentive and courteous staff. I loved my stay and will definitely return.
This was our third visit to the Carlton. We loved it. The service is the strongest we’ve seen in Tel Aviv. Warm, welcoming and friendly. They even sent up some halva to the room for us to enjoy. Fantastic Israeli breakfast. We chose an executive floor this time and we really enjoyed the service and food in the executive lounge. The room was great with incredible views of the Tel Aviv coastline.
Overpriced, dated, packed hotel on the beachfront with poor service This is a well located hotel which unfortunately suffers from indifferent staff, tiny roof pool (with 50 beds in a hotel of more than 500) dated rooms and noisy toilets from other rooms audible in rooms. Pricing for what you get for all the above is extortionate. The tiny rooftop pool experience (50 beds for 550 people ) is a nightmare, full of screaming kids (many of whom are not even from the hotel - the sunbeds just taken up by tel aviv locals who live nearby with virtually no checking by the staff (this was confirmed to me by several people I spoke to that this hotel is famous as a place for people nearby to come and get a free swim). We were regularly woken in the morning and overnight by the dated plumbing : every time a neighbouring or above room is flushed it is loudly audible within the room. Food - average. Staff: yawning, tired, overworked and couldn’t care less. For anyone who isn’t really price conscious or not spending much time in the hotel, to visit other parts of tel aviv- and not particularly needing a good night’s sleep - this is fine. For anyone else - don’t waste your hard earned money on this failing and dated hotel.
Lovely hotel right off the promenade. Room was smallish but lovely with nice amenities, including bathrobes. I was greeted with a refreshing drink and found bottled water, apples and dates in the room. The hotel staff was friendly and professional. They generously gave me a free breakfast which is typically an up charge. And what a breakfast!! Superb! I would happily stay here again.
It was the end of our trip and we wanted to relax and enjoy the view, the ocean, the pool, it was perfect
Best hotel ever
One of the best hotels ever stayed at. Attentiveness of staff made one feel like a VIP. The buffet breakfast is beyond description, just outstanding
All good
one of the few hotels on the beach good walkability
We were very happy. Meals were great and everyone treated me and my gramma with a lot of respect! Thank you all!
Amazing staff and hotel
Nice stay. Loved the king size bed. Decent Airconditioning. Sometimes room did not resupply towels and toilet paper.
The Carlton has a great location on the Tel Aviv beach. The hotel is very well kept, the service is excellent as is the follow up on special requests. The breakfast is the Great Israeli breakfast!! The selection is huge and the quality is very good. The servers are very attentive to anything one’s requests even going beyond the expected to make you happy. It’s a great place to stay and convenient to many areas of Tel Aviv. It doesn’t hurt that the rates are lower than several other hotels nearby or even far from the beach.
THE BEST STAY IN TEL AVIV
Best place to stay in Tel Aviv!!!! Gila, the manager is wonderful and always have an incredible stay.
Staff and service was great. Pool on top is very nice and the breakfast area is Also great!! One downside is that the rooms are a bit out dated but nothing wrong with them. I wouldn’t call it a 5 star but a strong 4 star
breakfast
there were bugs in the bed so I had to leave the property. Will not stay there never again
The property was old and tired. Relatively dirty. Limited options for dining and poor transportation,.
Beautiful view of the sea, comfortable room, great breakfast, convenient location.
Ok
Hotel is dated and rooms/building needs an upgrade. Furniture in the room seems to be a mix of items that have been found. Very expensive for what you get.
Wonderful staff and comfortable room. Couldn’t have asked for more.
Absolutely loved being at the Carlton Tel Aviv
I had a really wonderful time in Israel. Always a great country to visit. The Carlton experience was absolutely faultless.
Friendly and helpful staff
energy restart
the hotel is very nice the breakfast was rich and good and the view from the window was breathtaking we also made a message and ot was amazing!
Thank you for a great stay
We had a wonderful time. The room was gorgeous, beautiful view, clean. The service was amazing. Breakfast delicious. We just had a wonderful, wonderful time.
Sara & David’s stay
Spent the last week of our stay at the Carlton Beach hotel , all the staff were great from Mendel on check in desk to the guys at the roof top pool , nothing was to much trouble , to the concierge sorting out our taxi and departure time to the airport .
Carlton Hotel needs to make urgent improvement
Getting to Carlton was not pleasant at all. They were wrong about the type of room I booked (two twin beds), even though I showed them the original booking which had two beds. We were then transferred three times to different rooms, when the process took an hour and a half. At the end the reception manager decided to upgrade us to a better room, after again wanting us to wait 40 minutes. The place is clean, and the staff is kind, especially the staff at the pool. But the pool is very small, and there are not enough beds for guests. The pillows in the beds need to be replaced urgently. One pillow is as thick and hard as a log, and the other is small, and it flattens completely to bed height. The sleep in the place is terrible, although the mattress is reasonable. And another note: your breakfast looks very rich, but mostly not fresh. A hotel that claims to be 5 stars, it is advisable to take care of fresh goods at breakfast! Some of the cherry tomatoes were rotten, as were the leaves of the salad. The bread was certainly not fresh, and the scrambled egg you served was so awful that my daughter and I had to spit it out right away. And no, I'm not a disgruntled customer, and I happen to be a chef at the Hilton so I pretty much know a thing or two about food freshness. And for the most part the food you serve is not fresh. Not a 5 star hotel. Maybe 3 stars. So at least they should take a price according to what they give, and not a price so expensive, without a fair return.
The service at the pool is amazing. From the waiters at the restaurant and the attendants who go out of their way to make sure you’re enjoying yourself. Unfortunately the room was not clean. The coffee set up in the room was not replaced from the guest before. When I went to use it both cups had garbage and residue from the coffee the was in there and not clean. The shower floor was dirty and had to be rinsed before use.
Staff at the pool made the trip worth it. Amazing staff. Except for yvgenny the security guard at the pool who made all the guests of the hotel run through hoops as if they are theives and not paying guests. I informed management and so did many other guests. Hopefully he won't be there again because he is the only bad thing about the hotel. A bit annoying the no valet thing and how extremely far parking is. The rooms could use an update and the bathrooms as well. The food was great with lots of variety and options. Servers at breakfast and dinner were so friendly. Stayed at many hotels in Israel this summer at a higher level but this is the only hotel that stood out with good service. Shout out to Dimma at the pool for amazing drinks and service, Dudi and Alexei for caring so much and taking care of pool guests, also the pool waitresses were great. Spa area and services suck, only 2massage therapists and they are women. Booked a couples massage but it was performed in seperate rooms?!? There seemed like only 2 rooms exist.the room had so much light in it and some noise from outside it was hard to relax, the massage bed is the cheapest and most uncomfortable kind. There was a garbage can under the bed in my face the whole time. Not to be mean but I was counting the minutes until it was over bc it felt like the therapist was just giving me chills most of the time and the other times hurting me in places like my ankles and pulling on skin. All in all I will go back w/o spa.
Disappointing for the money....
Nice hotel, beautiful pool and amazing bartenders and staff who gave great customer service. Facility and hotel run down and very underwhelmed by our stay- not many amenities at all. Definitely not worth the money.
recommended
very good
Very good
Great Value
Great value, just beware with the parking. would be better if the hotel had some kind of solution for cheaper parking
The customer service was extremely good.
The staff went out of its way to be friendly and accommodating. They always worked to ensure that we all felt welcome and special as guests. The Carlton is the best place to stay in Tel Aviv hands down. It has the best location and staff that is have seen in Tel Aviv, and i have been to TLV many times.
Carlton TLV
Amazing stay!! Very clean room and high welcoming hotel, Location is great, very nice pool with a nice see view! Highly recommended
Excellent hotel
The service was of a very high standard, we left very satisfied! The lifeguard at the pool named Dudi gives service above and beyond is commendable
Not a 5 Star. Even in Israel. Go for the Drisco
Felt like I was in a dormitory
It was good but really expinsive .
Best view of TLV
Best view of TLV from the amazing pool
I liked the props in my room. the adventage is the great location of the hotel. I didnt liked that i wasnt invited to the restaurant and the hotel didnt charge me about the room
Breakfast a dream !
What a stay! Very clean and spacious rooms. Service fantastic The best is the breakfast on the water ! That’s why we came back again Very generous, fabulous view right on water and staff extremely helpful massive choice of food
High quality hotel in a great location.
Great location, very nice rooms with good maintenance. Breakfast is amazing. Quite pricey but at least you get your value, unlike some other hotels. The one thing we thought was not cool was the parking price. But that's the penalty of driving into a big city. I guess...
We paid extra to stay on the executive floor and it was well worth the price. We had access to the lounge with free snacks (truly meals!) and drinks from 8am-11pm, extra towels brought in late afternoon, gorgeous view of beach from balcony, every amenity we needed in hotel room was there! The staff was incredibly helpful. The hotel manager even greeted us upon arrival with a drink and snack. Great location-not across the street from beach like most-right on the promenade!
fantastic!!
Great service, very friendly and wonderful massage
Hit and miss
Great location but very expensive and really disappointing regarding no room in either of the restaurants. At times you felt that the door staff were more interested in watching youtube on their phone than finding you a taxi....great reception staff and the concierge was really nice. Breakfast was pretty good.
Definitely the place to stay!
Everything was wonderful at the Carlton! Our favorite hotel on the Tel Aviv boardwalk
Lovely hotel breakfast very good had a vegan section.
Overall not worth the money
Overall not worth the money. The hotel is in a good location by a nice beach, however the rooms are a bit dated and overpriced for what you get. There was hair on my bathroom towels and on the bathroom ceiling, also the bathroom had an awful chlorine smell. I must say that staff was extremely attentive and tried to make my bad experience up to me, however I don't think I would stay in this hotel again. I did enjoy the room service with great sushi.
The welcoming was very nice and the girl was very kind
Good location, nice rooms, clean and comfortable . I recommend.
