Great week end couple getaway

Spacious clean room recently renovated. Great view with a little balcony. Very confortable bed & pillows. The sofa is really useful for chilling and confirtable. The two simmibg pools, beach access, and nautical activities are a must. Also good breakfast !

Excelent place

STAY AWAY! When I arrived at 11am from the airport, the rude staff refused to allow me to leave my suitcase, relax by the pool or even remain on the property until the official check-in time of 3pm, unless I sat in the bar. Even the tiniest hotels in Paris do this for guests with reservations, and check them in as soon as a room is ready. I finally carried my own baggage to a room at the back of the property and up a flight of stairs. My room, overlooking a parking lot, was not only very out-of-date and remarkably ugly, but I had to leave immediately as it also smelled terribly of cleaning chemicals for several hours. The air conditioning was freezing cold and could not be adjusted, and the relic telephone had no dial tone. The only option for dinner at the noisy restaurant with plastic chairs, was a buffet for an exhorbitant fixed price of 35 Euros. I was told the beach, which I had been looking forward to, was under construction and not to be used. One swimming pool blasted loud music, and the other was spoiled by boisterous unsupervised children. Having travelled from Canada to enjoy a brief stay in Martinique, I could not have been more disappointed! Only one manager the next day was polite and helpful. The fantastic location and view is 5 star, but the hotel should be demolished and rebuilt with a better layout!

Pleasant stay at this property. Two swimming pools, beautiful garden, amazing and young team. Foods (all inclusive) could me more diversified but overall good !

Hôtel bien placé mais les chambres ne sont pas très bien équipées pour le prix ! À $300 la nuit on aurait bien aimé avoir des étendoirs au linge pour faire sécher les serviettes. La douche était vraiment pas terrible. Un réfrigérateur dans la chambre aurait aussi été apprécié.

Great but really old

The location is good, but it's not the best beach in Martinica. The hotel looks really old and the food was average

Something for all age groups and most of staff able to speak excellent English for us non French speakers

We were not happy with this resort. We arrived and were given one room dispite paying for two rooms with a sea view. We paid for two rooms but were given one bedroom and cots in the living room for our friends who had paid for the second room. We were moved to another hotel after two days. This was not a good experience!!!

Resort tries hard. Staff is great, many activities, especially for kids, generous food and drink. Good breakfast but dinner buffet plentiful but mediocre at best. Rooms clean but very tired. Beds not comfortable. Wi-Fi poor. Beach small, man-made and situated where there is constant strong wind (January). Better beaches are further south and east - half hour+ ride.

Great Location, but Should not be Rated as 3 Stars

This hotel has an excellent location, with a private beach, right on Point du Bout, within very short walking distance to the marine and the set of shops and restaurants, as well as a few beautiful beaches (and a little longer walk to one of the few casinos on the island, if one is interested in that). It has kayaks, jet skis and windsurfing boards to load - but the weather when we were there prohibited use of them. It has a windsurfing school - which was fully booked when we were there (they gave the lessons at a different beach due to weather). It has a spa, which we did not use. It also has tours and boat trips (in French), which did not use since they were fully booked when we arrived. Therefore, it is important to plan ahead. However, I don't know why this hotel is rated as three stars by the local government. It lacks basic amenities such as a mini-fridge or a restaurant that allows one to order food - the restaurant there is only buffet for all meals. There is no ice machine - one has to ask the staff at the bar or restaurant for that. There is no convenience store in the hotel, but there is a small one next to the marine (with limited hours). The rooms are clean but basic - they only have showers, not baths, for example. The breakfast buffet was nice, but not really impressive. Use of spa amenities (such as hot tub) is extra cost. The pools are smaller than they appear on the web site. Overall, it was ok, but from a three-star hotel I would expect more.

Decent hotel right on the beach!

The rooms and overall facilities reminded us of the Club Med. Not very fancy but functional and decent. The location is great and close to the Marina and all the restaurants if you are not selecting the all-inclusive option, which I would recommend. Breakfast is great but lunches and dinners are mediocre.

Not one person spoke English. Nobody there to believe it kntrips with and no suggestions. Couldn't get a taxi to drive us around. Had to book another room because ours was so tiny for three people. Food is as terrible and expensive for what you got. No 4 or 5 stars hotel on island. Even unify spoke French

Not friendly staff, no wifi in the room

Hotel staff doesn't smile at all. They give you a feeling like you have no other choice. They don't speak English well. No wifi in rooms, you have to go to small pool (there 2 pools), or to the beach to use wifi. Breakfast is not well enough. They close the pool early but private beach open. You cannot swim on the pool because of the security reason but you can swim in the sea in the dark. They don't give you the second towel even though you have reservation for 2 but you are staying in the room only yourself. Towel is very important for them which is ridiculous.

A disappointment

I'm not sure that 'hotel' really expresses what this place is about. Many of the studio apartments which constitute the accommodation appear to be on long lets. For shorter term visitors there are full board, half-board, B&B and no meals options; most visitors appeared to be on full board. You can purchase individual meals but they are very poor value and we were surprised that the mainly French clientele were prepared to put up with the quality. There is little or no service eg bags not carried to the room. Few staff speak English. About a week before we arrived I emailed to ask for directions from the airport - no reply. The room was cleaned daily, including clean sheets. The whole complex could do with a make over. The balcony lock in our room was broken so holes had been bored in the doors which can now be secured with a 6" masonry nail through the holes. The grounds were pleasant, although the pool wasn't opened until 9am.

Hotel Could Use An Upgrade

The hotel was nice but could use an upgrade. The free breakfast that the hotel gave was excellent. They also offer an all inclusive package. The beach out back was more like a manmade beach. To get into the water you have to walk down 4 extremely slippery stairs.

A cheap motel is better than this place.

I would not stay there again even if it's for free. Look looks like a cheap motel. No internet service for my entire stay, sheets were stained, bed looks cheap, water bugs & spiders in room, no fridge & coffee maker, bathroom faucet leaked all over counter top, towels were old and hard, no wash cloths, no adaptor to convert electricity. Horrible place!

Just Ok for 1 night but disappointing

Room in a noisy area, on the parking lot. Lots of groups. No nice area to stay Bar is noisy with group animation

The hotel is obviously targeted at all inclusive customers. Not much fun for individual travelers that don't like animated activities throughout the day and at night.

Unorganized mess

The hotel staff was nice but didn't seem to know what they were doing. They didn't have my information on file wen I arrived and kept asking me to pay after I had told them several times that we paid in advance through hotels.com. Finally, they ended up charging my friend $600 to her credit card without her consent and now we are in the process of getting the money back since we essentially paid them twice for the room. The room themselves are older and not updated but that is forgivable due to the excellent location of the hotel. There are nicer hotels in the area for more so it really comes down to why you are willing to pay.

Nice hotel, but mostly for older folks

We stayed here to experience the area of Trois Islet. While the hotel is nice and clean and has a good location, there is nothing in the hotel. Everything is laid out for all-inclusive visitors, so arriving at 9 pm we could not even get anything to eat. And we probably brought down the age average by 10-15 years, so if you want a young crowd then choose a different hotel.

Climatisation hors d’usage. Ils ont fini par nous changer de chambre après 3 heures de discussion. A éviter.

Moyen il y a des points à améliorer

Nous étions hébergé dans la partie non rénovée de lhotel du coup les chambres sont un peu vétuste par rapport aux nouvelles chambres. Cependant le petit dejeuner etait un peu décevant par rapport a ce que nous avons déjà connu.

Cadeau d'anniversaire et de mariage combinés, très agréable. Beaucoup d'activités, repas variés et très bonne ambiance au dîner, tout cela dans un cadre agréable et propice au repos.

Séjour assez agréable car le lieu est agréable. Cependant les bâtiments et le liner de la piscine intérieure mérite un rafraîchissement. Wifi inexistant (3/5j en panne). Plage qui n’est pas vraiment une plage. Collé à un lookea donc parking blindé et du bruit. Niveau hôtel 2 étoiles. Par contre personnel aimable.

Peu mieux faire

L'hôtel manque de rénovation et de modernité. Le lit est très bas et le matelas trop mous donne mal au dos. Manqie un petit frigo dans la chambre pour une île où le climat est temperé toute l'année il faudrait vraiment penser a mettre un frigo dans les chambres afin d'éviter de de descendre tout le temps au bar pour si on veut boire de leau fraîche. Sinon petit dej sympathique

Hotel familial, personnel souriant et disponible. Bon moment passé. Le seul petit hic est le parking toujours rempli mais bon nous avons tout de même pu nous stationner.

Week-end en famille

Hôtel agréable, chambre convenable et propre. La proximité de la plage et des restaurants n'est pas négligeable. L'accueil à l'entrée du restaurant pour le petit déjeuner est correct, mais le personnel en salle, sans être désagréable, n'est pas forcément très souriant et chaleureux. Dommage.

Quiétude assurée

Bon accueil, les lieux sont propres, le confort est acceptable. Par contre j’ai regretté de ne pas avoir un réfrigérateur et une cafetière c’est la base pour un hôtel de ce standing.

hôtel très bien situé car proche de la marina et d'un centre commercial à pieds. par contre plage très au vent et pas rangé, des transats partout et pas espacés, en période de covid moyen. l'hôtel est bien mais vieillissant, une rénovation s'impose et vite ! malgré tout très propre. dîner un peu trop cher pour cette gamme proposée. literie moyenne.

Hôtel très bien situé, confortable avec plage privé, calme, je recommande...

Couverture de lit trouée. État général de la chambre défraîchi. Les extérieurs sont beaux. Belle vue, jolies piscines et petite plage.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les animations et activités à disposition au sein de l’hôtel.

Pour des vacances en famille

Il n’est indiqué nulle part sur le site que c’est en fait un club Look. Quand on vient pour bosser ce n’est pas l’endroit le plus calme. Tout commence à dater, un bon rafraîchissement serait nécessaire car l’emplacement et le site sont très beaux .Et pas de serviettes de plage dispos...

Séjour sans plus ..

Accueil du personnel à l arrivée très bien. Chambre correcte avec vue sur mer comme demandée. Seul bémol odeur d égouts dans la chambre du sûrement à la clim. Petit déjeuner sans plus. Une mention particulière pour la personne qui fait les crêpes le matin s adresse aux locaux avec sourire et politesse et pour notre part le langage adopté n est pas du tout le même. Que cette pers n’oublie pas que toutes pers en venant dans l établissement lui permet de travailler.

Un moment de détente dans un environment agréable. Personnel accueillant. Des boutiques de toutes sortes pour tous les budgets. De jolies balades à pied à proximité.

Bon séjour mais hôtel vieillot

Nous avons séjourné à l’hôtel Carayou avec nos 2enfants nous y avons passé un bon séjour l’hôtel est bien situé et nous avons une chambre surclassé en vue mer par contre il y aurait quand même de nombreuses choses à revoir car l’hôtel est vieillot comme beaucoup en Martinique La décoration est moche est la couette marron n’est pas très nette Bref les chambres seraient à rénover Pas de lumière dans les toilettes je suis pourtant passé à la réception pour leur dire bon!!! Au niveau de la piscine il y a des vis dangereuses qui dépassent Le parc de l’hôtel est beau est bien entretenu Et puis finalement on passe pas ses vacances à l’hôtel.

Nettes Personal, jedoch gab es jeden Abend bis 23 Uhr Animation. Für jemanden der um 22 Uhr schlafen gehen will war die Musik sehr laut. Zudem lief jeden Tag die gleiche laute Musik am Strand. Zum Glück hatten wir ein Auto und konnten tagsüber wegfahren. Es muss einem schon liegen den ganzen Tag Animation zu haben. Unser Zimmer hatte Schimmel an den Wänden und es roch modrig. Ansonsten war es ok für ein drei Sterne Hotel.

Tés bon hotel mais des petites choses à améliorer

Un we en amoureux dans un cadre agréable. Nous avons apprécié l'environnement de l'hôtel très bien agencé, son confort et sa propreté. Petit bémol, les toilettes hommes de l'accueil (graffiti et traces sur les murs).Les toilettes de la chambre 070 goyave étaient cassées. La gastronomie rattrapait ce petit détail par sa variété et sa succulence.

le séjour c'est bien passé, le personnel est très accueillant. L'hôtel est correct le seul bémol c'est que le restaurant ne propose qu'un seul menu à 35 euros le soir.
