Caravan Inn Motel is definitely not the

Honestly this motel is not ready for public. I understand they are renovating. But they were not ready for guests at all. Im not even sure if the linens were clean. I slept on top as there were so many stains. Luckily i had my own blanket in my car. The bed was decent for comfort.

Very very bad. Couldn't sleep all night because of the noise. It was very cold from the beginning. No heat. We went twice and told them, they said that they were coming to fix it. They never came. The bathroom was very dirty. Sheets were dirty. Everything was bad. A very bad experience. Worst hotel ever.

You probably shouldn't list this property on your site anymore. It is really in tough shape.

the sheets have stains. The pillows look dirty when the cover on them moves. And what made my night worse were bed bugs that were on all sides of the bed. I woke up because of the bites.

Wild Ride

Let me start this by saying, ALWAYS look at google reviews before going ahead and booking a spot to stay. I booked this for my family (3 kids and 3 adults). We are not from the area but the photos online looked decent and it had a pool, so I thought the kids would love it. We arrived and the pool had ZERO water in it and looked like it needed to be fixed. The front desk area was okay, the people at the front desk were okay. Nothing fancy, but whatever. We originally got a set of keys for a room that was for sure for a couple on a romantic retreat. Went back to front office and got a different room key (We had booked a room with 3 beds and the first room only had a bed and a heart tub in it). Unsure why they didn't check our booking to confirm what room we needed? Anywho, we enter the new 3 bed room. It was a decent size, but there was cobwebs everywhere and it smelt like an out house. There was a ton of open room doors with people who were hanging out in their beds with their doors open. Fairly weird overall. And apparently we parked in "someone's spot" who didn't have a car, but had his door open. That man then came outside and started screaming to move our car that it was HIS SPOT. He was also swearing and making weird noises while doing so. We went back into the front desk and requested to get our money back because this clearly wasn't a safe space for kids at all. They denied a full refund & only gave me $100 out of the $175 we spent. I will NEVER go back or recommend it.

The jacuzzi only had cold water and the air conditioner did not work. My girlfriend and I spent the evening at a bar within walking distance. When we returned the room was too warm and we could not get any channels on the TV and no remote. We called the front desk, and what started as a lousy experience, improved sugnificantly because despite it being after 2 am the owner of the motel came to the room with a screwdriver and was able to fix the air conditioner. He also went to the front office and came back with a TV remote and he was able to restore the TV cable. So because of the owner's capable actions, my rating for the motel improved from 1 star to 3 stars, though it would have been better if the air conditioner and TV worked from the time we arrived.

While we did not experience any danger or unsafe interactions, we did have issues with our room. It had garbage from the previous tenants inside of it, half of the lighting did not work, the tub inside did not work or get hot water going to it, the television did not work, only one set of towels was provided (and not restocked), and we discovered after the fact that there were bed bugs as well. We would not have stayed if we knew this from the initial check in.

I wish I can give it 0. Pictures are a lie. Dirty biohazard place, everything in disrepair. Should be closed down. After seeing their bedsheets full of dead bugs and hair, we had to immediately check out and stay elsewhere. Never pay before you see the room, they refuse to return money.

I don't know how they can sleep at night taking money for this property. First the bathroom light didn't work. They promised to send someone up, they didn't. When we returned and complained they said take the table lamb and put it in the bathroom. No water in the pool. Double beds, not queens. Supposed to be a sofa bed, but not room to pull it out. Bedding was so dirty, we didn't want to sleep in it, so we ended up going to another hotel at midnight. Any self respecting motel would give us our money back. Do not go to this motel.

Room was not ready on time. Staff said they need to clean the room first so we needed to wait (not an issue) BUT we waited for nothing. Room was so dirty(food crumbs allover the floor, smells like rotten food, and the AC unit blows dirt(you can see it clearly). We got it for cheap price but we didn't expect that to be that worse. We had to booked to another hotel to enjoy our stay.

We didn’t stay there. The moment we pulled up there were drunk homeless people sitting outside the hotel and around the rooms. The pool was empty and dirty and the room was musty. I asked to see the room before we made the decision to look for another place.

Pool was closed, live in residents fighting over money and booze. In room jacuzzi was gross, no clean and would not drain so the manager “fixed it” by bringing in a vacuum to suck out the water. Carpets on floor were coming up and exposing rusted nails. We actually checked out early and found a better motel down the street.

Highly discourage anyone who is considering staying at this inn. In extremely poor condition and felt very unsafe. We didn’t even end up sleeping there because when we heard there were bedbugs, there was no way we were stepping foot inside.

Why this kind of motel still existed?

I have tried my best to find out which part of the hotel room is clean and not damaged. I tried it hard to give a credit to something that I should appreciate it ,sorry to tell you ...nothing... No photos to prove because it there were too much to show.

I spent 1 minute inside and ran away. There was dirt on the floor, smoke smell and blankets with hole from the cigarette ashes. Place looks like a abended place with huge concern of safety. I've got my refund, and had to overpay to stay in another hotel. Don't even think to come there.

Price requested upon arrival is higher than shown at reservation.I booked a non-smoking room, but I was provided with a smoking room which smells so bad. When I checked out, the front staff admitted and made apology on offering different a smoking room. How this dishonest motel could be advertised on Expedia?

By far- the worst stay in my entire life. A horror movie set up , inside the unit looks abandoned , Broken mini fridge, no microwave, no cable, the rotting smell was so horrendous that we could not fall asleep. No toilet paper, bathtub is stained with layers of dirt and the bottom is covered in dirt and hair. Heart shaped tub and surrounding area were covered in dried up bodily fluids and sticky massage oil. Bed cover was so stained that I almost threw up when I saw it. We used our bedding and yet I was still disguisted to sleep on that bed. Thick layers of spider webs are hanging low from the ceiling . Everything in the unit is either broken or dirty. One star is too high for this joint.

I only booked this low priced Motel because i only needed a clean bed and shower for a short period of time and it was offered by Expedia...who i thought was reputable....big mistake....they quickly took my money then in the room, bed bugs crawling everywhere...no air conditioning....no toilet paper or any bathroom utilities....the bed hadn't even ben made......and they looked at me in shock that this hasn't happened before...liars and thiefs....i walked across the stree to Howard and Johnson.....15 more and immaculate room, continental breakfast....on and on........everyone should rethink Expedia and thathell hole motel

Not clean

The place is so dirty, there is some hair on the tub, ants everywhere, floor is so untidy, the air conditioner has cigarettes butts and smells. Very very terrible place to stay.

We pulled up and there was an ambulance in the parking lot. The several people that were seated or walking around looked sketchy. There was a room door open with a large man laying topless. It seemed to be a shelter, more than a hotel. We didnt get out of out car and found a different motel.

We got there made to pay right away we ended up with an extremely dirty room with spiders and bed bugs, the tv didnt work we were told to buy our own batteries for remote and it still didnt work random person came banging on our door at 11pm we asked who is it nobody answered nor did we see anyone through peephole Horrible place to stay expecially for the 120 we paid

The room we stayed in was really dirty. The floors were nasty and the beds had crumbs and hair in them. There was no towels in our room and the lights barely worked. Upon check out, I had to ask for my deposit back because they had no intention of giving it back. When she gave me the money back, it was short $5 because “thats all they had.”

Overall good

My stay here was a nightmare! The sheets were filthy, the bathroom was a cesspool, and the room reeked like a garbage dump. To top it off, there were uncleaned liquid stains under the sofa. The refrigerator was useless, and reception was MIA all night, refusing to change rooms. I’ll never set foot in this dump again and will make sure everyone knows to steer clear!

This was the worst booking! The room smelled very badly of chlorine and musty. Th bed sheet had burn holes in them. The blanket didn't look clean. I didn't touch much more. The bathroom had filth all over the walls, the sink was gross. I ended u asking for a full refund as we didn't feel comfortable in this room. There were some sketchy people outside that lived there. Would definitely not recommend. I would give zero stars if I could.

Room was not as pictured! Was filthy with layers of dust. There were food crumbs on the bed. No locks for the door. The tub was absolutely disgusting. Toilet paper looked to have been dropped in a mud puddle then put back on the roll for guests to use. Staff was not helpful and didn’t care for guest concerns. Would not recommend this place and will never return to it. We ended up checking out within less the. 20 minutes of our arrival time and finding a different place to stay.

Brutal; Cancelled our reservation for the eclipse as we'd booked awhile ago. Once they realized they could get more for that night, they said 'room not available; no staff'

Very dated cigarette burns every where blankets, tub and furniture. No towels in room. Strange noise in the bathroom like something was trying to get in.

No heat (5 degrees Celsius at night), no hot water, no TV, very smelly fridge so unusable, very dirty, very old, stained bed linens

I did not expect much from the motel as the price was very low, but I did expect it to be clean. Upon arrival we noticed immediately that the bathroom had not been cleaned (dirty shoe prints on the floor, hair and dirt on the sink and mirror). The sheets and pillows had dark hair on them as well. We did not take our shoes off except to sleep as the carpet was very old, worn and many stains. The small couch had cigarette burns and some small holes. Although we had a non smoking room, it smelled strongly of old cigarettes. The Jacuzzi tub was not working and was dirty. The room was quite cold (April cool temps outside) and we had to sleep with extra clothes on as we could not find a way to increase the temperature. Someone on staff did come to clean the bathroom when we complained, it was better but still not as clean as it should have been. Wish I could have given a better review as the woman at the main desk seemed quite lovely.

This property should not be on the listed properties, it’s a health and safety hazard. A needle in the window, dirty rags in drawer, weird owner lady who thinks uncleaned and dirty bed are the standard of service industry.

Dirty, filthy, gross, disgusting. Heater wasn’t working, don’t bother asking for someone to fix it because the owner will come into your room barefoot with no socks and dirty clothes into your room to look at it while sitting on your pillow. The mattresses, covers and sheets are all stained with blood and whatever else you can imagine. If that wasn’t enough to make you pack your bags and leave, you will be sleeping with the bed bugs and cockroaches that enjoy their stay there all year round. We were able to sleep for no more than an hour before the feelings of little bugs crawling over us finally made us leave and sleep in the car. You are paying them to experience sleeping in your car like a bum. After it was all said and done and we tried to get a refund, the lady at the counter must have been visited by a wicked witch which made her forget the English language overnight and said she couldn’t help but was grateful enough to dig deep within her cockroach infested motel of a heart and wish us a happy new year!

Do not book. This place is a health hazard. I’m shocked that Expedia still lists this place. If you don’t believe me, go ahead and book. You won’t stay more than 10 minutes in that place and you won’t get a refund. It’s been really fun disputing this with my bank!

If you are just going there to sleep than this is good option but If you have a concern about washroom, cleanliness, and customer service than there is no any other place can not be at last number in competetion. No hot water in sink and toilet flush was not working.

Absolutely disgusting. We didn’t stay more than 30 minutes in the room and never got a refund. The rooms were a health hazard honestly. Poop still on the toilet seat, blood on the towels, torn bedsheets with blood stains, etc. I could go on for days about what I saw in those 30 minutes. This place is not suitable for renting. It needs to be shut down immediately. We made the horrible mistake of not reading the reviews because we were in need of a room. Take my advice and never ever book with this motel. -100/10

We were given the wrong room key initially, then the room that we were given was different from the one listed (no futon provided). The grounds were not well lit; especially the stairs, which i fell down. There were also multiple skunks around the property, and the sheets had stains that resembled blood. Also, the toilet seat was broken and it did not flush properly. There was also no interior lock for the door to the room.

As an Expedia you shouldn’t have this hotel open it should be closed until the fix everything the room was so unclean, bed has long peaces of hair pillows dirty, i used one of my sweaters to covered it, microwave and fridge gross, bathroom no place to hung towels and toilet paper, air conditioner or heater didn’t work temperature under 40, carpet gross, in general should be closed nothing even similar with expedia pictures promotions thanks God was for one night only, couldn’t sleep well being in this gross place, so sorry to say it but it’s true, even for the price must be clean, there human occupancy.

Broken windows at the checking office, and the bell didn't work so we had to wait for someone to figure out we were there to check us in and out. We had a room with a jacuzzi tub, but it didn't even work (water was turned off). Bed was dirty - blood stains on the sheets. Long black hairs on the bathroom floor (I'm blonde). There were stains on the bathroom counter and the carpet is frayed and ripped.

In the middle of the night i went out side for a smoke and forgot my key inside, so off to the office i went. They were very helpful despite my rude intrusion on their sleep, and i was very greatful

When we came at the location the receptionist was not hospitable. Just lucky to check the room first before paying. When we check the room, It was so disgusting, washroom so dirty and the bed sheets has a stain and there has a lot of dust all over the room. Looks like a hunted room. Wi-Fi siginal is weak. I have to sit outside the room in order to use the Wi-Fi for my iPhone and iPad. Cheap price to stay. No bed bug. Quiet. But no hot water.

The worse place i have ever stayed in. The room was filthy, they saud they gad a pool, well there was one with about a foot of green water in it. TV didnt work, no phone, no radio, one hand towel and rats in the parking lot at night. I cant even find bad enough words to describe the staff. I had just checked out, didnt get my deposit back. They lied about that, then when i was finished i went to say bye to a nice man i had met there the night before and one of the lady staff said "you checked out, what are you still doing here". I wish i could get yhe statement out to a larger populous, these people do not deserve to be in business DISCUSTING!
