This was our first time staying at this hotel, ill start with the good. First off, having a kitchen in the room is awesome, if youre doing Disney it will save you a ton of money. A full size fridge with an ice maker is a game changer, i wont be able to go back to tiny hotel fridges. The room and the bathroom were very clean, also having soap containers mounted to the wall instead of the tiny bars of soap was really nice. The walk to disneyland isnt bad at all, I think it took about 15 minutes at a brisk pace and plenty of streetlights coming back to the hotel so it didnt seem sketchy coming back at midnight. Now to the bad, the TV is pretty small for a room that size, the elevators are beyond slow, so make sure you give yourself a 10 minute window if you need to go somewhere because you can easily wait that long to get on the elevator. The bed wasnt horrible, but it also wasnt the greatest, It did its job but dont expect to be sleeping on a cloud. Overall its a pretty good hotel, its not the Ritz, but its also miles ahead of msny of the other hotels in the area. For the price and the location its pretty dang hard to beat.

The hotel and customer service was great! Rooms were very clean and kitchenette was well equipped. However the room we got, which was at the end of the hallway, was soooo loud. People kept coming in and out. Our room faced their bbq area and there was a party of some sort and we could hear all the noise. At 3 am we were woken up by loud noises from the entry hallway door and loud voices. Also there was so loud dragging noises coming out of somewhere in the building. At 5am someone was checking out and he had the latch over the frame of his door and he kept coming in and out for the past hour and we could just hear the slams every single time. Afterwords he left, came back and tried to come in to our room. He kept trying to open our door. I called the front desk to notify and was told they would let him know when he went back down. Apparently they knew who he was, but it was scary thinking someone was trying to get in to our room. Nonetheless we had a not so good night at the hotel. Maybe asking to not get a room at end of hallway may be less noisy.

They were super helpful and knew the area and ins and outs of where to go. Held our bags for us on the last day and we had an easy time getting them.

Hotel overall was a Furniture needs updating! The recliner in our suite was broken ! Bathrooms could use an update! Good place to stay if you have kids because there is space for them to move around! Would recommend ! Its a 15 to 20 min walk to disneyland depends how fast you walk! Best option to get to disneyland if you dont want to walk getting an uber is less than 10 dollars if you get the basic one ! Cheaper than the bus and definitely faster ! We didnt check out the entire property but overall its a 4! Parking is $15 a day it was a gpod price for not being to far fro. Disneyland!

Decent but bed size is false advertising

Decent little hotel for the location and price. The only main issue we found is that it's 100% NOT A QUEEN BED! Which truly is misleading. I'm a larger guy 6'6 but skinny 175 and the full sized bed it 6" shorter vs a queen and that REALLY makes a difference. When I asked the front desk if they had any real queen beds they said no the full are our queens. If I would've had my daughter with me 4yr old who normally shares a bed with myself and my wife I would've been very mad having to pay for another hotel last minute. The rooms are nice shower was warm for all of 10 minutes. No spa was kinda lame. The lap pool sized pool wasn't heated above 75 so that may have well been closed for the colder months.

Great hotel for our 40th anniversary

We had a great stay here celebrating our 40th anniversary! Staff was friendly and greet you right away. Room was spotless, and had everything you could need. Very close to the Anaheim Garden Walk for dinner. I love how the hotel has a 10:30 pm - 6 AM quiet policy, no kids running the halls lol.

Thank you to all the staff that make our stay pleasant.

Arrived and was told I had been upgraded but room was literally at pool level- so every person walked right by my room window: terrible. Rooms are dated but okay. Room was 6-7/10 clean. Layout of bathroom in the room is inconvenient

My wife and I were in Anaheim for a week long conference. We loved staying here and found the amenities with having a stove and refrigerator very convenient. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. We will definitely look to stay here again when we come next year!

I had a great 5 night stay at Candlewood Suites. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. My room was a suite and it had everything I needed to be able to cater my own food. It was very convenient to walk to the Disneyland parks and bus transport around the area was a short 2 min walk to the nearest cross street corner. I would definitely recommend Candlewood Suites for your stay. I enjoyed my visit to the Anaheim area.

Clean, Spacious, and very Cozy Room.

Comfortable room, very clean, house keeping checked frequently and very helpful. All staff were very professional and helpful. Only downside was the unknown charge for parking which I felt was unnecessary due to already paying for for hotel. But all in all I was pleased with this Hotel.

Great hotel. Would def stay there again

Room and kitchen have the right amount of space. Full fridge in the room makes very convenient. It is walkable to Disney Parks, about 20-25 minute walk. Covered parking, which is convenient and safe. Staff is friendly and eating options are available all around. Only downsize was the pool, which is a bit small and not warm enough for winter.

It was a really great stay. Room was clean and they did a great job of cleaning everyday. The kitchen was perfect with everything we needee to make a good breakfast every morning. It is located across the street from great food options and has the most reasonable parking price around. The walk to the gate for disneyland was 15 minutes or like 7 minutes to a toy story parking bus (which in the morning gets uou through security faster and is free). Overall i would definitely stay here again.

My honest review is that the stay wasn’t worth the money I paid. I stayed 7 nights and only 2 of the nights were pleasant. The guest in the upper level were continuously running up and down in the room, you could hear the noise from the room. The hours when this would happen were during sleeping hours which would be from 10 PM -6AM. I definitely wouldn’t book again, everyone pays a premium to have a relaxing getaway/Vacation the last thing anyone needs is noisy guest who don’t respect other people’s sleeping hours and decide to cause excessive noise. The staff were nice but definitely the noise wasn’t worth the stay. I’d recommend staying at another hotel if possible.

Overall great stay! But however there was a tapping noise all Night not sure if it was fridge. Also upstairs people were running around all morning .

Office staff was great!

This was our third two week stay at Candlewood Suites and we will definitely be booking again for future stays! Safe, comfortable, welcoming and convenient for our Disneyland trips!

All of the staff we encountered were extremely kind and helpful. We loved having a little kitchen. We were very happy with our stay!

The front desk crew was friendly and very helpful! The 2 full bed suite with a kitchen was perfect! It was so very convenient to have a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave! Complimentary washers and dryers in the laundry facility was a pleasant surprise! I'll be sure to bring my own detergent next time. Even if you don't bring your own, their shoppette in the lobby is certain to have so much of what you need. The Lyft drivers are very familiar with the location which made it very easy to get rides to and from the parks. The beds were a bit firm, but we still slept well. The rooms were very quiet! We only heard one boisterous child for about 15 minutes during the whole week we were there. The pool is small, but nobody else was using it. There's an excellent lounge next to the pool that has chairs, couches, a TV, AC, and a restroom. There are also 3 BBQ grills. The front desk offers luggage storage for before you check in or when you check out but want to go to the parks before your flight. I really cannot complain about this hotel at all! I will be back!

The front desk was very acomadateing . They made our family trip very welcoming and convenient. The hotel was clean. We will be staying again. Thank you to the all the staff.

Always have a great stay at Candlewood Suites. The staff are amazing, the rroms are clean and well maintained. The laundry is excellent, washing supplies are available to purchase in the lobby

I was overall really satisfied with the hotel and the room! The room was overall very spacious and clean, our room was cleaned daily and we received enough clean towels for our 3 day stay! The staff was also very welcoming, they wished us a good morning and a good evening upon walking into the building daily! Overall the stay was really great and disney was only about a 10-15min walk and they also had great food options that were 5-10mins in walking distance!

The pool is little and cold, but nice big rooms with full fridge.

Close to Disneyland, but still quite a walk. Local bus was convenient. Decent rooms. No breakfast included. Older but kept up. Only one small elevator.. Pool is really only a lap pool and is in direct sun at all times.

Need to fix the door. because we see the foot outside room and heard people passing by our room.

The room smell like urine elevator didn’t work for 3 days when functional it was super slow, when to the office to report the that the room door weren’t working and never when to fix them. Laundry is free but not the washers have a bad smell. The lady at the front desk on 08/18/24 in the morning shift was extremely rude and dismissive about my concerns. Horrible customer service.

Very noisy in my room not sure what was above me, but never stay by the elevator. The elevator wasn’t working no one put a sign up on all floors so let their guests aware . Not happy.

Great Family Stay

We really enjoyed our 7 day stay. We were on a family vacation and everything is so convenient, and walking distance. The room was clean and the beds and pillows were very comfy. Great a/c and tv. The fridge, stove, sink, were very nice to have. Bought a few things for breakfast and soft drinks, chips and snacks. Housekeeping was friendly and would provide clean towels for us everyday. I definitely recommend to stay here. The only thing that could use a change is to get a bigger pool and hot tub. We never used the pool too small. We'll stay here again.

Convenient

My check is was perfect, parking a little tight, my cleaning lady was a little lazy on a days, otherwise I like the Candlewood hotel.

Immediate issues: stained pillowcase, coffee machine in the room didn’t work, tub spout ran while the shower was on. The first two issues were resolved the same day but the shower wasn’t fixed until day 5 of our stay. Otherwise it’s a nice place to stay, it’s within walking distance of the Toy Story parking shuttle which is why we stayed here.

I recently stayed at the candlewood hotel in anaheim ca and had a fantastic experience! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel's location was also convenient for exploring the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and plan to stay here again in the future. Tim front desk rude

The guy Tim with hair dreads was rude. He needs to be fired. We asked for service in our room and he was rude said it was our fault we didnt call for service. He wanted to make us go fetch our own towels. We were there 14 says and when he was there at night he was rude.

We loved our room! The room with a separate bedroom was very spacious. We picked up some food from a nearby store and took advantage of the kitchen with a full fridge and a dining table. Hotel staff were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. Convenient to Disneyland and downtown Disney although we took uber instead of walking. Great little spot if you're not looking for a big resort atmosphere.

Awesome for longer stays/kitchen

We stayed for 7 nights. Cons:: Very clean, safe, staff was always polite and helpful, parking was decent (paid parking but still spots we only had one night when we parked on the street). Housekeeping made our beds daily and would refill things like dishwasher soap and salt. Laundry is completely free. Kitchen was great if you need to keep cost down by cooking. Not overcrowded, and again- very very clean. Safe neighborhood and area and easy to get to Disney, VIDCON, and etc. General manager is very helpful and responds to questions. CONS: Pool SUCKS. Not the fault of the staff though. It’s clean, just really small and weird. Also no view of any fireworks or anything interesting. This is a family hotel and there are screaming children every morning EARLY- so bring a sound machine. Otherwise we had a great experience and very happy we chose this location!

I usually dont review post stay, however this was not a very pleasant stay! I had to deal with very loud people from above, i complained many times, and took a couple days to be addressed. And i dont know HOW this place is rated as Excellent, cause its NOT. Service was ok, fridge in room was LOUD, and wasnt as clean as expected. Also the parking is HORRIBLE! Never found parking here!! I seen all the employees parking in spaces, yet paid $15 a day (17+ with tax) I will not stay here again. Guess you get what you pay for!

Candlewood was great

I got this placed based on the ratings, but wouldn't book it again. They said it was all renovated, but doesnt seem like it! Parking is horrible and limited! No shuttles to the park, and DEFINITELY not walking distance to Disney. Pool is very small..

Our stay was great

Convenient location. Stayed there to attend a show at the Honda Center, a 10 minute drive from there. The hotel offered the lowest price for surrounding. The hotel is good, clean, nothing fancy.

Very comfortable well equipped room

We enjoyed our stay… we didn’t spend much time at the hotel since we were at Disneyland during the day. My only very minor issue was that the AC shuts off when you’re not in the room in an effort to be eco-friendly. It turns back on automatically when you get back in the room apparently, but it never really felt like the room got cold, just cool. We stayed in April on a rainy weekend, so it was totally not a huge deal since we didn’t need relief from the heat. I’d personally avoid it in the summer, but would definitely stay again in the winter months. 😊

Pros: close to Disneyland, a lot of dining options surrounding hotel, has a full kitchen with full sized refrigerator, parking was easy, staff was friendly and helpful, a lot of shopping areas in the area, Cons: tv didn’t working, a light in the bathroom didn’t working, slightly weird smell in rooms, view from window wasn’t great, no oven, rooms are a bit small Overall: there are nicer hotels, but for a short stay where you’ll mostly be out and about, it’s okay.

Nice place and friendly staff

Stayed here for a Disney trip and it was great! Easy checking in and checking out. Resort and parking fees were the best around Disneyland, highly recommend this place. Room was like a small apartment with kitchen and full fridge. Mild noise from outside traffic but not horrible. Only five minute drive from Disneyland. Enjoyed the stay.

The hotel has quiet hours posted around the hotel to remind the people to be quiet while others sleep.

Cost of foods for purchase in pantry were outrageously priced. The free coffee was a nice touch.

My stay was very comfortable the only down side was on the site it said there was a breakfast and there was not and that was part of the reason for booking there.

It was amazing! Convenient for scrutiny and friendly staff! We were here for 5 days and got exceptional service!

Clean and convenient

Super clean, convenient, nice hotel in a great location! The staff are all super friendly and helpful. A quick and safe walk to Disneyland park, a little less than 20 minutes.

I don’t usually rate places but this place was beyond expectations! Definitely recommend! Stayed 4 nights with not one complaint! If you are thinking about it just book!

Very nice hotel employees and security guard are very friendly rooms are small but very nice and convenient. They have free washer and dryer, gym, outdoor bbq grills pool is a bit small but they have one. 17 minutes walking distance from Disney and lots of stores and restaurants near by. Will definitely stay there again.

The property was safe and clean. The staff was very friendly. The only inconvenience was the parking. It is separate from the building. You have to step outside the building and the lobby is far from the parking.

Internet wasn’t available, elevator was down, very thin blankets.
