Clean room, courteous staff, outstanding view of the port, food is OUTSTANDING!!!

I do not even know where to start. But here it is. Check in as well as checkout was quick and efficient, rooms are clean and well maintained, but that is not what the best thing is. The best thing is staff. Here is the story. Ive rece tly stayed at the hotel for couple of days. During my stay I got a nasty cold, and was really feeling bad. After the checkout i went out and had to clean the car as it was snowing. Half way to Starbucks, i realized that I had forgoten my shirts and jackets in the rooms closet. I called the front desk, and Mark answered the phin, said no worries, by the time you get here I will get your stuff down. Of course that happened. No fuss, just efficient service. But this is not it, the best part is coming. I was on my way to Digby and had to take a ferry. I arrived there and cars were already boardin. All.of a sudden, my phone rings, and it was Mark. I had left my luggage on the parking lot as I was clea ing the snow off the car. I obviously do not have time to exit the yard go back and get my luggage. I was screwed. But Mark was quick on bis feet, he offered for a other staff member to drive the luggage to me. And they did it in a nick of time. They really went over and above the call of duty to help this dummy in a tough situation, and saved the day. Mark, and the gentleman that got me the suitcase, THANK YOU. You have no idea how appreciative I am. Tbis kind of service is not normal, i am not sure of a yone who would do this for their custome

The staff was amazing. We made a reservation through Expedia and it had not shown up on their system by the time we had arrived. They made sure we got our room anyway. They were absolutely wonderful.

Close to downtown, great view of the harbour

Friendly service at front desk. Clean room. Heater was very noisy. Room fine overall but a few minor details let it down a bit such as the doors on the furniture didn’t close properly. Pool and hot tub nice.

This property has recently undergone an updating and looks great. We were greeted by friendly staff to a very clean hotel. Room was super clean and spacious. Restaurant on site offers very good food. Also a great location with easy access to and from the highway or to get downtown.

My only complaint is the restaurant. We tried to eat there on Saturday night around 7 PM and were told to wait at least an hour to 90 minutes. I'm not sure if it's a staffing issue or what, the restaurant was only 1/3 full. Needless to say, we went elsewhere to eat without any issues.

The room was clean. Pool and hot tub were great. Restaurant onsite had delicious food. Great stay and very friendly staff!

I know this is “Irving Countey” but there were NO car electrical chargers on the outside of the facility for hybrids or an All-Electric Car. This was disappointing, so we won’t be back.

Fantastic swimming pool and jacuzzi pool. Restaurant was nice with friendly service. Some advise would be to keep the bar open later. It was a Friday night around 10:30pm I decided I would step out of my room to have an evening cocktail only to find it closed at 9pm which is somewhat early especially on a weekend.

Like so many chain hotels, this one is mostly facade and little substance. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. But there was a lot of noise in the sitting area where my wife was trying to rest (before our room was ready), the service at dinner was poor (a mop rested against a table close to us smelling of bleach; from a short wine list, they only had one in stock; they had no green beans left, though on the menu). There was a constant humming in our room. And the 'stunning views' advertised were non-existent.

Very Nice Hotel. We spent two nights here. The hotel was lovely, our room met all of my accessibility needs.The dining area was open and inviting. The bar/lounge was nice and had an outdoor patio area overlooking the harbor. I tried loading photos but it didn't work not sure why. We had brownies with us so stopped by the bar after dinner and asked for 2 Bailey's and coffee, the bartender/waitress brewed a fresh pot of coffee to prepare them. We then went toward the lobby and enjoyed them in one of the many sitting areas available.Oh and they had lottery game machines in the game room. Enjoyed our stay here very much.

First of all, the staff here is Excellent. The entire facility is quite nice. I always appreciate a hotel with its own restaurant, something that is hard to find in the past decade or so. The refrigerator had no freezer section which meant I could not by frozen items such as dinners or fruits or vegetables. Also, I prefer actual bars of soap for the bathroom sink and tub vs. hang-on-the-wall liquid soaps which often are empty. I would stay here again if I was in town again.

Overall not a bad hotel but the noise at 5am is not very welcoming.

The restaurant food was really very good

The dining room was a nightmare. It was understaffed. Lots of people arrived and they clearly could not cope. We left and ate the elsewhere. The very friendly person at the desk informed us that this hotel had undergone extensive renovations. They forgot a few things. The bathrooms were hardly updated. No shower just a bathtub with no safety bar. Overpriced and not worth it!

This was a nice facility, we enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly & welcoming. Currently there is a little construction (cement work) being done in the parking lot but it didn’t affect us at all. The bar & restaurant were very nice, food is good. Ashley & Cindy in that area were awesome.

We enjoyed the one day stopover. Great amenities, helpful staff, nice room with harbour view and a good night sleep. We would come back.

Rooms were clean. The bed was so comfortable! The breakfast was just ok.

Front desk was great. We arrived around 8:15 pm and the restaurant closed at 9:00. We arrived at 8:30 in the restaurant and waited 15 minutes to be seated. Then wait staff seemed to disappear at times. 2 couples left as no one seated them after 20 minutes. Not sure what the problem is but you can do better. Breakfast staff was much more attentive.

Lipstick on a pig. “Refurbished” means take an old property, slap some paint on it and claim it has been renovated.

This property is beautiful, welcoming and warm inside! The staff were so friendly and informative. The outside needs a lot of updating and TLC but I think its occurring right now as it was evident while we were there.

The ice machines are still not working since aug last year. The arcade is only open on weekends. The bathroom was checked 1.5 hrs before i used it and there was only soap in one of the dispensers. The breakfast was very friendly. When we checked in apparently the staff was new and forgot to give us our breakfast vouchers. Long way to go to be up to the standard of this hotel chain
