Great stay thanks

Great apartment. The internet was a little bit and miss throughout the stay and there was another small cockroach, this time in the fridge. We had a cockroach when we stayed last week as well in a different room.

Great property, great staff. Located right near everything you need. The only issue i had was with the shower. no matter how precautious you are, somehow the water would still fall on the bathroom floor because of how the shower is built.

Convenient location. Comfortable. We would happily stay here again.

Great apartment woth easy access to Mall

Great 2 bedroom apartment near the zone and Rosebank mall. Cleaning each day. Good sized outdoor space for kids to run around. Helpful front desk.

The Vantage is great. Everything, except for the check in and check out, where it was said that we didn’t pay the full amount. This was not true and fortunately we had print outs to proof the upfront payment. After an apology we were allowed into the apartment. Upon checking out we had the same problem. The payment issue between The Vantage and Hotels.com should not become the guest’s problem.

Especially ladies on the housekeeping department and the guys in the reception were excellent. Ill will certainly be staying in the Vantage next time Ill be in Joburg. Hope to see you soon guys. Ali Müjdat Sudutemiz Istanbul-Türkiye

Easy access, safe place, privacy, walking distance to mall and shopping.

The property is in an excellent location. Walkable to shopping mall, metro, bank, restaurants, etc. The staff was friendly. There was daily housekeeping for the apartment.

Incredible Property

I have been travelling for more than 40 years, this property definitely ranks in the top three of my favourites. It's more than just a hotel room...

Amazing Clean Apartment

Amazing apartment, very well kept and the security within the building is strict, which is excellent for South Africa. Very close to the mall. Its everything one would look for. Be it business or pleasure it is designed for both ;)

Great location and great place to stay

A great facility with everything you need in the apartment, and a minutes walk to the Zone at Rosebank.

I stayed on the 1st floor (101) and felt very unsafe the entire 10 days because the curtains were very transparent and I was exposed to the entire street where people were hanging out at all hours. My because of the poor curtains. The wifi in the room was also VERY poor.

Service mediocre. Staff not particularly friendly. Amenities need improving. Our apartment’s beds were not made up when we checked in in the evening and they had to put us in other rooms the first night. Also the lifts were not working half the time. Conveniently located to shopping and restaurants though.

Not well kept but good location

This unit was in a great location. The unit was dirty, specifically under beds and in closets and kitchen cabinets and looked very well worn. The AC In the main living area did not work and the bedrooms had no AC. The WiFi was very poor . The facility staff was helpful and stored our bags in the office. There is good parking.

Mediocre

Wifi never worked, even after several discussions with staff. No shower, just a bath (not as advertised). Staff is barely helpful and not very friendly. Wont stay here again.

The space in the unit was very limited and despite asking for the WiFi to be looked at, it was never fixed.

Stunning modern apartments nd beautifully furnished.. The tv wasn't working nd shower had cold water but overall it was good

The hotel is well located is a nice neighborhood (Rosebank) of Johannesburg. It is near a lot of dining and shopping options, as well as the hop on hop off bus stop. It was nice to have a full kitchen as well as a laundry washing machine. It was a fantastic spot for the price.

Beautiful Apartments Perfect Location

The only thing they need to work on is putting blackout curtains in the rooms that face the courtyard as they remain too bright all night. Also advise better bathroom doors with either opaque glass or blinds

The location is excellent. It is within walking distance of the mall with lots of restaurants and shops. The security is excellent with guards and locked entrance doors at night. The parking garage is adequate in that the spaces are limited and narrow. Their third party airport shuttle service and elevators have slow responses.

Love staying here, and have booked again this week for 2 nights. It feels like home! Would not mind perhaps an onsite gym, or perhaps reciprocity with any of the gyms close by.

Friendly and helpful staff, small beds (queen size), very good location next to shopping, gym, restaurants, hospital ........ but some apartments are quite noise.

It is a great location, secure parking and a very nice and extremely large apartment. Enough space for us, our two daughters and My parents. Only thing I would add is a dishwasher but the washing machine and tumble drier were fab!

It has a double bed in each room, so not ideal for families, but perfect for business traveller. Very close to Rosebank shops and restaurants. No aircon but fans in bedrooms

Convenient location and free parking

Free parking and safe compound. Two walking blocks away from the Zone @ Rosebank. If WiFi is a priority then don’t stay here, extremely spotty and unreliable.

Upon check in we had to go to 3 different units before we could find a "Clean" unit. Door lock not working. And on top of that was Charged R1750 by Hotels.com and the rate on the same day and same Units was R 1375. On the booking form completed during check in the rate displayed was R 1230 Expedia.

A few-minutes walk to Rosebank Mall and the Gautrain Station. The area felt very safe. There is some construction nearby. The apartment was very clean and check in was easy. Kitchen and washer were great. Free wifi is limited to two hours which isn’t great.

Everything was excellent.One of the best properties I ve stayed in. 10/10

The location is amazing. The apartment and the area are VERY SAFE and secure. The staff at the facility, all of them, were super friendly and accommodating. The apartment itself was very nice....excellent linens, comfortable bed, VERY clean, lots of storage and closet space....it was a great place to stay. It is very close to the train. There is no gym....only negative.

If it had free WiFi and AC I would rate it 5*!!! Who doesn't provide free internet today??? Otherwise, really nice flat, has everything you need for your stay, great location, free parking. Needs improvement on the service side.

Comfortable apts, great location and staff

The Vantage has spacious, modern, clean apts, conveniently located near a shopping mall, supermarket, restaurants and the African Craft Market. We had 3 apts for 6 ppl and our 5-nite stay. The area is safe, we walked to some excellent restaurants nearby. The reception and housekeeping staff are friendly and helpful. Beds and pillows in the apts are comfortable and it's great to be able to relax with all the comforts of home. I would definitely stay at The Vantage again and recommend it highly.

Excellent hotel and very well located (very close to main public transportation). Staff was very nice. The room was very comfortable and spacious.

Rosebank stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at CAG the Vantage. It is very tastefully decorated and is equipped with all that you need, and is serviced every day. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery, glassware, pots, pans, microwave, stovetop, oven, toaster and a full size fridge/ freezer. It is so well located to the Rosebank shopping mall, which has so many shops including 2 supermarkets and several restaurants. it is less than a 5 min walk. The train station is about a 10 min walk. You can catch train to airport but if you are 2 or more the private taxi is just a few $ more for door to door. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Very neat nicely built and maintained apartments. Very good location - 1 Min from Starbucks and a couple of min from the Rosebank Mall.

They over booked and even though I paid in full for my stay 3 weeks in advance, I had no room I arrived at 8pm after travelling from Washington to JHB and... I was put into another property further away, which was inconvenient as I had a number of meetings in Rosebank

Nice Apartment ... but the Wifi lets it down!

Nice clean apartment close to restaurants and the mall. It is well equipped and the reception staff were very helpful. There is no heating and it was cold so we had to ask for a mobile heater and it took a while to get the place warmed up. We found the double bed too small and was not very comfortable. The wifi in the apartment is not very good.

Amazing front desk staff and security

I had an amazing stay at the Vantage. Our flight was going to come in late, and I called them beforehand (small tip: Please make the Vantage number available instead of the CAG number because the automated response glitches and then one can't get through) to let them know. When we got there, our keycard, room and check-in details were all ready. The front desk and security are all very helpful, housekeeping is wonderful, the room was clean and absolutely beautiful. I'll definitely book with them next time. PS: Please, fix the automated response system for CAG and make the Vantage number available.

Highly recommend. Very Modern and spacious

Excellent experience. Hotel front desk staff were very friendly, professional and accommodating. I highly recommend. The location is great, near Rosebank Mall. Wonderful vacation experience in South Africa overall and this hotel was an added bonus.

Great location, well fitted Business flats, better than a Hotel, and the location is ideal. Main challenge is the inconsistent WiFi... you may often find yourself at the Starbucks across the street!

My stay at the Vantage

The staff were very friendly and helpful but the check in procedures were too slow. It took almost 30 minutes to just get the key programmed and after that it still did not work. The wifi did not work (was absent). The apartment itself was very nice however the lack of air conditioning in summer time made it quite uncomfortable to sleep at night. Location is excellent.

Great area, easy & convenient access to Rosebank

When I arrived to check-in, my booking couldn't be located so I had to wait a while to get this sorted out. However the lady at check-in was friendly and fantastic so I didn't mind the wait. However, when I went down later that evening to check about WiFi access I was met with an indifferent and rude gentleman at reception. The complex doesn't have WiFi which is really inconvenient - this has become an expected service.

Great value, very close to Rosebank

Great value stay, friendly helpful staff and the apartment was very clean. Great location, except Rosebank is having a lot of construction work going on so it’s quite dusty and noisy (no fault of CAG). Home comforts and great cleaning service.

We enjoyed our stay, perfect location, really clean and had all utensils for cooking and eating. Just an adaptor for the plug would be nice to charge all electronics.

Comfortable and secure hotel near Rosebank mall, good food options and a starbucks across the road. Some construstion going on for the forseeable future so not particularly quiet. But staff very accommodating and very helpful. Chek in and out is easy but WiFi is an issue!!!!!

Excellent Location!

The one bedroom I got was clean, very spacious, new and beautifully decorated but the location makes this place even better. You will be at a safe and short walk away from the train station (easiest way to get to and from the airport), the market, many restaurants/bars, the mall, the bank and tourist information places. Also the unit had a full kitchen with a washer and dryer which was perfect to do the laundry before packing again.

Everything was really good, but the upstairs unit kept making very loud noises so it was hard to sleep. You always heard them when they walked because the floor was made of wood and you can hear the footsteps Upstairs.

Very impressed.

Full marks - location, value and facilities. First choice for me now. Only itch was water standing in the shower.
