Staff were very friendly and helpful

Great location. Room temperature was very hot causing us to open the window all night and day and street noise is loud. Terrible shower head. Basic room - good for the price if you overlook the negatives.

Fair and good for a night

Nice rooms, a big hall

Great location, very clean & tidy. The carpet got a bit wet when using the shower a little which left it smelling a bit damp at times but did dry quickly. Would def stay there again.

A perfect base from which to explore the beautiful city of Aarhus. Very friendly staff and an excellent Buffet Breakfast to start the day with. Highly recommended!!

The heating didn’t work which seems rather strange. The solution was fine, though: all I had to do was tell the reception and they supplied a portable electric heater which was very adequate.

Great location - near the harbour, latin quarter, shops, dining, train station. Friendly and helpful staff. Does exactly what it says on the tin, bed, bathroom.

Honestly this place was fine enough, but for what I paid, it was INCREDIBLY stingy with everything, most especially space. The room was pretty much a dark, clean closet that I actually got locked out of when the door jammed because it was too close to the bathroom door. The dual bathroom/shower room is also incredibly tiny, and gets everything in the bathroom wet when you shower. Breakfast was actually very nice if not the same exact thing every day (truthfully, that's me being nitpicky, but with it being extra money to pay for, kind of blah and not worth it). I wouldn't stay here again, even though the (24hr!) staff were excellent. Do yourself a favor and stay away from "budget" hotels like the Cabinn company, because they really mean it.

Small but clean and quiet rooms. Great location in the middle of everything. Parking is difficult in the area, so pay ahead of time for parking at the hotel.

Easy, friendly, all you need for a weekend break.

Very tiny room, totally uncomfortable. And terrible noisy (about until 4 a.m.) so you cannot sleep. If you are more than 20, don’t choose this hotel :-(

Simple but fine

Hotel is centrally located next to the restaurant and walking streets. Hotel is your typical budget type hotel, small rooms and minimalistic decor. Staff are super friendly. Good for a one night stay, weekends can be a little noisy outside to late.

It was a decent stay, I had a courtyard room so the noise from the streets was minimal. Mattress is a little thin and breakfast gets a bit repetitive but overall, a good stay and what I needed for my time in Aarhus. Can highly recommend to those looking for a cheap bed to sleep in and to people spending minimal time in the room.

The room was comfortable, and the lobby was spacious.

Not a favorite

You cant beat the price and the location, but: When cleaning is only available upon request, you need to provide this information at check in. The mattress and the pillows were more lumpy than a sack of potatoes and the lack of parking a real nuisance.

Exactly like the pictures

The hotel was perfect for me. The staff were friendly, everything was clean and the location was fantastic. The room looked exactly like the picture, yes it is small but that is showen in the pictures and it was exactly what i paid for. I also felt it was great value for money.

Additional charges not listed in hote booking page

When check-in, the counter asked additional 140 dkk for 2nd person staying in the same room which is not listed on hotels.com booking pages. Was surprised being asked for additional fees since I have been using hotels.com for my past 7 years and this is the first time. Arent we always pay for what room we saw from the booking pages?!!!. The reception's attitude was not good either when requestimg the additional charges. The room, no surprise, it was small and not clean. The night stand in between the twin bed was sticky and the are brown things on one of the bed. The bathroom is extremely tiny and there is no way you can prevent the water from shower flooding to the room unless you use your towel to block the door. Not to mention there is no hair dryer or dedicated shampoo and body wash. There is only one samller sample size with a note saying it's combination of shampoo and body wash and it's very watery and make you feel you are not clean even after the shower. Bring your own shower stuff if you plan to stay at this hotel.

Central to eating, attractions. A bit small for a couple but only there for a couple of days.

Can’t beat the location

Clean basic hotel with a great central location. Just a 10 minute walk to the train or the airport 925X bus stop. The tourist sites are just steps away. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is very small but functional. If you plan on just sleeping in the hotel and the rest of your time site seeing, this a good option.

It’s a budget hotel and ok if you just need a place to sleep. Breakfast was not ideal.

Small room but great location.

Positve: Extremely friendly and helpful staff who made us feel very welcome, good breakfast with nice views, great location, most affordable in Aarhus. Negative: The room is very small (but we knew this, so not a problem), blind did not fully close so let light in, very noisy 1am (but this was due to a fight - again, a random event that could happen anywhere)

Central in a lovely area. Bedroom is basic as expected but comparatively much more so than the public spaces of the hotel. And the mattress could be renewed.

Nice to stay in the middle of the city

Simple but fine

It's a simple place, but has all you need. Rooms are tiny, but beds comfy. Bathroom is very spartan. Shower shares the same space with the toilet. No counter space. It's like a bathroom in a train, tiny sink and space. Had a nice view of the church from the window. Common spaces are great: lots of sitting places, and common workspaces. Breakfast is good too, on top floor. It costs extra, about€12, but worth it. The location is great, right in the walking area, near the theatre and restaurants, but not loud. I would recommend this for the price, if you don't mind simple. Also, no late checkout, 10 krone per hour.

Helpful Staff, great location

Although this Hotel is in a great centered location, the hotel room was worn down and the bathroom needed a rigid cleaning. The room was extremely loud, no soundproofing, so you can hear the city partiers as if they were in your room all night.

Small but comfy

A budget hotel so did not expect a lot. Clean, modern, friendly and well designed room that made the maximum use of every inch of space. Only issue was the hot weather needed an open window and this opened onto a central courtyard with smelly bins

Great Budget Room for 2x parents and 1x child.

Brilliant hotel, centre of the city so it was easy to access the shops, the restaurants, the museums and the marina. Definitely a great stay for a family with a child - myself and my partner slept on the double bed while our daughter slept above us on the bunk bed (she loved it). The bathroom and room was a bit too small, but we managed - while the ladies were getting ready in the morning, I was at the bar next door. :) Main disadvantage, which is a must for those light sleepers - If you're hot easily, you need to keep the window open BUT at around 1am/2am/3am every night, it gets REALLLLLY loud when the bars/restaurants close.

Perfect for an overnight in Aarhus. Close to everything! We had the bunk beds and pretended we were at summer camp! 😉

Don't take Room 252 (if you need to sleep!) Noisy!

The hotel was excellent in terms of location, facilities, condition and value for money. The windows were not sound proof, so the noise from the nearby bars could be heard. Don't book a room facing the theatre as all the street noise will keep you awake. Also, don't depend on the Receptionist for details about the airport bus (she'll send you on a wild goose chase or ring you a taxi). Use the App and get the X bus.

It's not a hotel more like a dorm. No lights in room other than side table lights. Dark room. Super small bed no default amenities. Breakfast options are all store bought nothing cooked. Clean place and Good hot water is the only a plus.

Fantastic stay for the 5 nights. Would highly recommend.

The staff were friendly, and the place was convenient - close to shopping, restaurants, and destinations. The room and bathroom were tiny. People partied until 5am and then, the street cleaners came. I did not sleep. Parking is a coupke of blocks away.

Functional hotel in great location

Functional hotel, great location in town, small rooms with aircraft toilet-sized bathrooms. Not a fan of wetroom style showers as the whole bathroom is soaked requiring drying with a towel to shave/brush teeth/ use toilet, all of which could be done simultaneously

Great location and really nice hotel

Great location in the heart of the city opposite the cathedral.Proper staffed reception with luggage storage available. Modern, compact room, with desk, chair, good wifi, power points. I didn't like the wetroom style shower soaking the floor around the sink and toilet. I didn't like that the reception area had a full view into my bedroom window!

The Cabinn is the cheapest hotel in Aarhus. Rooms are small but for me that's not a problem. Great location in the centre of the City, it's clean, can't complain. Staff friendly and helpful too

Budget hotel in great location

This hotel is right in the city centre, so very convenient if you don't drive. Price was good too as it was the cheapest in the area, and the room quality was basic budget-type, but was still quite comfortable for a few nights sleep. Beds were comfortable, shower not very convenient, but overal it was quiet, clean, and very accessible.

Good value, but rooms a little small

Rooms were very small, but for the price that was to be expected. Nice hotel in a convenient place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The size of the rooms aside, it is a great hotel.

Most perfect location ! Small, but has all that is required. Very friendly staff and excellent parking , right in the city . Certainly would stay here again ! Sorry , buffet breakfast not worth it , too many beautiful cafe’s around the block that have much nicer breakfast’s. But place is still great !

Basic but clean

Rooms are certainly on the small side but faultlessly clean. Beds were not especially comfortable and heating control was via the window.

Small gem - love this hostel

Small with quite the punch! Staff was incredible and very helpful. The room was so small, but well designed. Our previous stay was in a larger room in Copenhagen, and even though Cabinn suite was smaller, it was better designed are more functional. And this hostel is in the middle of everything - a quick walk down pedestrian streets either towards train station or along harbor front easily got us to all the sights. Would highly recommend.

Compact room but had everything you need. Double bed with bunk above. Nice shower. Wifi rather poor, VERY noisy on Thurs Fri and Sat. Still people shouting and bottles crashing at half-past 1 Very hard to get to sleep. Quiet as a mouse on Sun and Mon, much more pleasant. Views - pants! I was looking at other people's windows. However, I'd still recommend. I don't suppose any city centre hotel would be different

Very central budget hotel. Small rooms but all about location.

Excellent location to downtown Aarhus, can easily access excellent restaurants, shopping, museums, waterfront. As advertised, hotel is very basic, relatively inexpensive, rooms clean but small. Parking was non-existent locally, long walk to public garage. Staff was willing to accommodate last minute schedule change in coordination to Cheaptickets.com.

Central location and great price

Ikke for meget champoo

Meget dårligt. Toilet lugtede, vi fik ikke værelset som var reklameret på billedet. Værste af alt er vi ikke fik sovet mere end 3 timer pga meget larm fra opgangen. Vi spurgte om compensation men det kunne de ikke tilbyde os.

Fornuftig til prisen

Havde kun brug for et sted at sove. Meget lille værelse men ok. Opholdte os meget lidt på værelset. Varmt værelse så kunne være optimalt med aircondition. Fin morgenmad buffet.

Enkelt men meget højt niveau

Hotellet ligermeget centralt. Venlig og imødekommende reception, værelset fint og rummeligt til 1 gæst. Morgenmadsbuffetten er ikke vild luksus, men der er, hvad der skal være, fint anrettet og friskt.

Lille værelse, men med alt vi skulle bruge og pænt og rent. Synes der var lidt støj fra gangen når folk kom hjem - ikke lydisoleret. Morgenmaden var meget skrabet, men stedet var fint

Meget larm fra gadens natteliv - værelset lå ud mod åen. Også meget varm værelse og dyne.

The location is excellent however the window direction of my room is toward the bar/club street. In the night it is not very quite. Besides the bathroom is really small.

Ok til et par nætters overnatning

Fint, hvis man er heldig ikke at have støjende naboer. Fint for overnatning et par nætter, hvor man kun ønsker overnatning. Venlig reception og fin morgenmad (extra betaling). Betalt parkering i kælder ok, men meget smalle båse.

Skravlen med madvogne i baggården fra ca. 0530 lørdag morge. Ikke OK. Der mangler ordentligt kaffe, og Juice. Her var kun saftevand og kandekaffe.

Var som forventet ov vi var positive

Jeg har boet på andre Capp-in og ved næsten hvad jeg får. Morgenmaden overraskede os begge positivt til den pris vi betalte. Vi vil selv benytte det næste gang vi besøger byen til sommer og i København når vi skal til familiefest der.
