Really lovely hotel in a great location. Only stayed for two nights but it was lovely stay. The hotel didn’t have a filtered water facility, only bottled which you had to purchase. Also I thought the spa closed too early, maybe a 20.00 close would be better. Just two tiny complaints there but overall the stay was perfect for what I needed.
The Queen of stays
We were looking for some late winter sun and on a recommendation booked the Reina Isobel. The hotel is large and great facilities including a rooftop swimming pool and bar. With great sea views and, weather permitting, a glimpse of Tenerife. The breakfast buffet is vast and varied and includes vodka. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and again there was a wide selection of appetisers, mains and desserts. The resort was busy in late February and we enjoyed an early evening walk along promenade choosing a restaurant for dinner.
returned for 5th time - great hotel across the prom to a vast clean beach
Could have done with the pool opening before 10AM but, apart from that, we thought the hotel was all-round brilliant.
Lovely hotel. Was on hols with my teen daughter and we wanted a mix of relaxing and exploring. Loved that the hotel was on the beach in one direction and city in another. Would stay again. Couple of criticisms 1. Spa was v busy each time we went and water in the indoor spa pool and salt water pool could be hotter 2. Not enough reception staff. Had to wait long time to speak / check in 3. Tea bags and small milk cartons in room on arrival but not replenished daily. When I asked the receptionist if we could have a couple of tea bags and milk left we were told v firmly that they don’t get replenished after day one. V strange when you’re paying for quite an expensive hotel
This property was amazing! The location to the malacon was exceptional. The entire resort exceeded my wildest expectations. The breakfast buffet is unbelievable! The spa—gym-rooftop pool-& beach chairs are all excellent. Cannot recommend this property more! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!! Loved the hotel & loved Las Palmas!
Beautiful property on the Beach Great food and surrounded by wonderful restaurants
Nice hotel in prime position
Courteous staff, but the facilities are showing their age
Staff were friendly, pool area was nice, food options were good. The lifts were not very reliable and the pool was closed on our last day without any notice. It was a shame there was limited lunch options at the hotel, but there were plenty of other options around. No lounge area at the hotel apart from the large foyer but not very practical for sitting with people.
The outside pool was in full repairs, which was disappointing. Spa was lovely. Staff at spa, hotel reception (especially Helmant), & dining areas were all lovely.
Excelente hotel. Wonderful staff
Safe, clean and right on the beach!
La cama súper incómoda. Estaba hundida en el medio. Reclame pero no me resolvieron hasta la 3ra noche y fueron 5 noches. El spa, chulísimo. Localización excelente.
Great location with no big complaints.
The staff were all friendly and helpful from arrival to departure, with the exception of the Marinas bar, which is a franchise. The room (suite) was OK, but daily cleaning less thorough than might be expected (glasses and cups not washed). The curtains were good at light blocking but extremely noisy to operate. We were on 6th floor so relied on lifts which were swift, but one was unreliable in direction or refused to move occasionally. Breakfast buffet had a wide choice but quality was below expectation. Soggy Croissants, runny yoghurt and although there was a choice of strength of coffee in the two machines (strong in one, "soft" in the other) it wasn't very good and a third machine would have alleviated queueing. Considering this and the unappealing menus posted, we did not feel inclined to sample the dinner buffet. The dedicated and inclusive sun lounger area on the beach, right outside the hotel was the most enjoyable feature. The beach is fantastic. The roof pool looked attractive, but was rather busy and a little noisy for us. The signatute Lily display in the foyer is impressive but the scent is quite strong and can be an issue for those with allergies.
Beach paradise
Great location on beach. We had balcony on ocean side with view. Spa was relaxing after day of site seeing. Breakfast buffet had many choices. Would stay here again.
A 4* star hotel with a fantastic beachside location in the heart of Las Palmas with easy access to the sights, local restaurants and transport links. Excellent food options provided by the hotel the added facilities of a heated roof top swimming pool SPA & Gym. Friendly attentive staff highly recommended .
N/A
Rooms are very outdated needs refurb staff not very helpful at all !!!!! First room practically sat in car park on balcony asked to move they wouldn’t had to get Expedia involved they called the hotel and helped !!! Television very poor Location fabulous , breakfast great
I was disappointed with the room I got having paid around €700 for 3 nights. The Junior suite was almost like an office. The view was dreadfull as it looked onto the car park and other residential buildings. I thought having ordered a suite, it at least came with a sea view!
Perfect hotel on the promenade with easy access to the beach, shops and restaurants. Would use again.
Recommend
Great location right on the beach with friendly and attentive staff. Nice pool with great view. Broad choices on breakfast buffet also overlooking beach.
Relaxing
Great stay. Brunch options were lovely. Staff was very accommodating. We arrived before our room was ready and they were able to store our luggage while we left and explored. The spa was also very nice. I didn't use the gym but there was a variety of exercise equipment.
A few problems
The hotel is beginning to show its age. Our room had a few problems, flaking paint from ceiling, socket not working, toilet seat badly fitted…minor issues but important…basic maintenance is not undertaken. The hotel TV is highly biased to EU channels…no BBC1 or 2 or ITV. The rooms facing the sea are nice but the hotel faces north and you do not get sun on the balcony. The restaurant is mediocre…food needs to be served hot.
This hotel was only OK, particularly at this price point. The place seems rather tired especially the rooms. The service was not very friendly. The breakfast buffet, though abundant, was just not very tasty.
Winter Sun Treat
Very enjoyable stay. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff, room clean and serviced daily. Food good standard and plenty of choice. Pleasantly surprised by warm temperature of outside pool.
I like everything
The best hotel for a beach holiday
Our trip was fantastic! Friendly staff, very kind and always ready to help. Large room with wonderful sea view made every evening and morning great. The hotel is located in a great location, a minute from one of the best beaches of Gran Canaria. Our room was cleaned every day and the staff was very attentive to our every need. The spa of the hotel was relaxing and available to all guests - an absolute treat. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough.
Really nice hotel right on the beach with good options for food and drink and very clean facilities throughout
Amazing stay
It was one of the most wonderful and comfortable stays that i went through amazing staff and very comfortable room. The breakfast is amazing and the Spa is just relaxing and you just go after it and sleep .
👍
Clean Beachside Hotel
The hotel was bright and clean. The room was a bit small, but cool and quiet. Breakfast had a great selection and variety of food and everything was immaculate. I would stay again and recommend the Bull Reina Isabela Hotel.
Had a wonderful stay. The staff are very hardworking and accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic. The hotel is in the perfect location. Loved the ocean view from our room. No complaints, recommend and would stay again.
Great location
Hotel perfect location. Later breakfasters had to queue for table. Amazing choice but still couldn’t find much I fancied? Pool good. Shame rooftop restaurant closed. Wasted. Could even have opened as a bar. Terrible weather but hotel can’t help that!
1st floor ocean view - more like ocean glimpse
Maybe our expectations were too high We only had 3 nights there & had 3 rooms. We paid the additional money for an ocean view & was given room 131 a 1st floor room that overlooked the roof of reception. It was ocean facing & very little ocean view. We complained & was told the hotel was full. We moved next morning to 773 only to report a cracked shower screen & were the moved by the hotel to 441 as it was deemed dangerous. We were unable to settle & relax
all fab, except staff could have been more attentive at food service.
Another great stay
This is our third visit over 6 or 7 years. Hotel is very nice with excellent food served buffet style for breakfast and dinner. Facilities are very good including a heated pool, spa, bar and more. I particularly like the location with an entrance (and Hotel Beach facilities) on to the promenade.
great position and very helpful staff
Great Staff
Very nice in all aspects, except one… There is a smell of excrements on the Solarium, the sundeck between floor 4 & 5, it comes regularly as a not so nice breeze… Tha Spa could be open until 8 in the evening, less busy and able to see the marvelous sun set from the pool and sauna..
Food, service, spa, location
Sour taste from the staff experience
I will be fair. The hotel is located right on the Malecon in the centre of the beach. Rooftop pool is nice. Room was dated and worn, but did have new comfortable mattresses. Elevators are slow due to the fact they idle on the ground floor. The problem was I booked a package with dinner included. We were on a road trip from Maspalomus. We packed for the weather. When we arrived we saw a small sign at the entrance to the restaurant stating no beach shorts. We did not pack long pants. 30c weather on a beach. A buffet . A really bad buffet at that. We asked before going to the restaurant if we were dressed ok at the front desk. We were in shorts and button down shirts. They said it would be up the the server at the restaurant. We said there was nothing in the booking info that stated no shorts. The restaurant turned us down. So back to the desk. I told them I wanted compensation as there was nothing in the contact that I agreed to when I booked talking about a dress code. We were not in bathing suits. After my request they said we could have our dinner. Because they did not want to compensate us for the dinner we paid for. After we were humiliated by the staff the flood gates opened and there were many others in shorts. If these are your rules. Fine. Put them in the booking contract. Front desk staff and the restaurant staff treated us pretty bad. The food at the buffet was terrible.
Luxurious hotel in a great location!
This was a gorgeous hotel right along the boardwalk with immediate access to a beautiful white sand beach! The hotel is clean, chic and luxurious. Staff members are incredibly sweet and helpful. They truly make you feel like royalty in this magnificent resort!
Very fine hotel in perfect location
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Comfortable, great views and right on the beach. Very clean and of course all the important COVID measures in place. Rooftop pool with panoramic views was a great place to unwind as was the beachside restaurant and bar.
Short beds, outdated rooms
Beds are short and everything is outdated, rooms could use a proper renovation. More power sockets would be nice, needed to unplug two lights to charge my phone and laptop. Location is pretty good, staff was friendly, good breakfast, spa facilities were closed.
I like the location
I stayed in this hotel for 3 days (August 2021). Really enjoyed mu stay! The hotel is first line to the sea, take beachfront room - you will enjoy an amazing ocean view and will hear the waves - i had such a good sleep with relaxing sound of waves! The hotel has pretty good amenities - roof top pool (even if gets crowded cause there are limited number of sun beds), also it has its own part on the beach with sun beds provided (even if only till 17.00pm). Food was very good in the restaurant - i had Half board (nite that for dinner you need to pay drinks) - even though i like the variety of food and the quality. The staff very kind and helpful! thank you! The hotel has very good wifi - you can work from the room without problems! The building is a bit outdated (need a bit of a reform). All in all it was a very pleasant stay! Thank you!
Great stay
Really enjoyed the breakfast, pool area, location - hope to visit again!
This is the bull
Great hotel, very friendly welcoming 😊
Good localization in front of the beach. Amazing spa. Very clean. Staff very unprofessional. Lack of organization with accounts, so you need to pay the bills every time.
Very well run hotel, with great balcony and views.
The pool and spa is beautiful. Location is also great
Wonderful Spanish design with hotel comfort coming of age. Choice and quality of food was great but please - more paella which was on the menu only once a week.
No to bad
Great spot and good hotel - spa is good but a bit small in the steam and sauna rooms.
Excellent service ! Staff is friendly and I had and very good time in this hotel. Thanks.
Fantastic hotel with great facilities. Breakfast included each morning is fantastic.
Excellent
This hotel was probably the best we have ever stayed in.
Modern beachfront with retro charm
Excellent, upscale location right on the promenade! Splurge for waterfront views. Spa was unique including floation pool. Highly recommend
Room a bit small but excellent hotel.Good to park and staff helpful
The food is very good. Excellent location with immediate access to the beach. Very good bus service around the island. I have stayed at the hotel 6 times.
I would highly recommend
Only a 1 night stay, but well worth the price.
Good not great
It was OK. Nothing wow, but clean, efficient, comfortable. A bit business like for a resort hotel. Breakfast was mediocre. Location right on beachfront and hotel bar were great. Staff were friendly and efficient. Didn't try the spa so can't comment on that
The rooftop spa is awesome and the staff are very friendly
Great location, views, spa and rooftop pool and bar.
We really liked the spa and the roof top pool. The dinner variety was very poor and quality wasn't for a 4 star hotel. The rooms certainly need soundproofing as you could hear everything from both the streets and from the other rooms.
Our room was excellent and the spa and pool are to be highly recommended. Also, the breakfasts were very good.
I like breakfast, people are wonderful Sonia and Kiars made my mornings happier, the service room is excellent Loli help me with my towels and everything and the front desk was excellent, Sylvana y Lorena help me with everythin I need, the dinner was excellent too. And the parking baggers were really helpfull. The only thing I noticed was the air condition in the front desk, no air condition for poor people working there. I love this hotel, close to everything.
The breakfast was exceptional. The spa you not find in any hotel, so many options, we used it everyday. Five star service at the front desk.
Family fun in Gran Canerie
Fantastic hotel with incredible breakfast!
Likes: 1. central to las canteras beach 2. Easy access to port, museums and shopping 3. Close to Parque Santa Catalina for buses to old part of town and other parts of the island. 4. Taxis always available outside hotel. 5. Excellent spa facilities available to guests. Dislikes: 1. Only 2 bottles of water supplied free in the room.
Everything was just perfect but the coffee at the breakfast...
Great location , very beautiful view. Walked all over
Pro: - amazing location on the beach. - huge shopping mall for fashion brands 30min away, walking along the beach - many supermarkets around the hotel if needed -surfing spot 10-15min away from the hotel - Very kind staff - Lovely swimming pool (indoor and outdoor), including a salt pool in the Spa. - Not too busy (i travelled in June) - Lunch and Diner, provided good variation of meal, dessert, fruits etc..Diner was tastier and healthier. - Amazing bathroom/rain shower - private section on the beach with free long chair - Gym equipment with sea view. Amazing for motivation - Enough long chair around the swimming pool when days were sunny Cons: - the safe in the room, is only available for renting - furniture have a bit old school look, but are comfortable - Mostly couple and seniors, but ideal if you want a quiet stay.
Perfect for a relaxing break
Great location, great hotel and amazing spa experience. The view from sauna is amazing. Breakfast choice is varied and good. Sets you up for the day and you won’t go hungry for hours! Would stay here again.
Excellent hotel and would definitely go back. Very good position on the beach and easy access to shopping .
new some updating to bring it to 21 century.......
The hotel was a joy to stay at for 5 days after Easter. The staff are helpful, willing, courteous and generally lovely - we didn't encounter a single person who wasn't excellent. The rooftop pool is a haven from the windy weather we had and even on a forecasted cloudy day, we found the sun. The spa has a panoramic view of the sea too - wonderful. We stayed half-board and enjoyed every meal at the restaurant with a wide variety of buffet menu options - all very good.
Reception
When arriving reception lady was rude. When asking about how to get a beach towel reception was rude and rolled eyes at me. Only one of the receptionists were rude to me, others were really helpful. Room was alright but little bit cramped and untidy for my taste.
The staff were all efficient, welcoming, helpful individuals who together formed a great team. The accommodation and facilities were first class.
Great location and very comfortable with excellent lighting in the bathroom
The accessability of beach, pool and Spa. All the Staff extremely pleasant and helpful.
Position on promenade lovely. Very good standard of presentation, and staff unfailingly excellent. Very much for grown-ups from all over Europe. Unsuitable for children of almost any age (not encouraged it seems as only allowed in spa between 10 - 12noon). Dining options in hotel, at a price. Buffet restaurant service good but food only ok. Generally better than the many restaurants along the promenade which were poor in my experience.
Great staff couldn’t do enough for us spotlessly clean comfy beds
Situated on the sea front of the spectacular La Canteras beach, we were warmly welcomed. Room was spacious and quiet. Breakfasts were excellent and the chaos of everybody helping themselves to the buffet just added to the fun.
Brilliant location for beach and local restaurant. Excellent breakfast suitable for British & European tastes. A small bottle of water is supplied on day one. The local authority say we should use bottled water all the time. Why doesn't the hotel provide this ever day. Also a kettle was supplied on request but they do not advertise this. Taking into account the cost of the hotel room neither of these items are going to impact the hotel to a great extent.
The location is excellent, the spa is lovely, the staff are wonderful. What spoils the Reina Isabel for me (and I've been several times) is the clientele. Retired north Europeans, large of girth, short on humour, piling their breakfast plates high and putting their towels on the sun loungers. It's just a bit depressing.
Very good hotel but suite furniture uncomfortable
Anticipating less than perfect weather we booked a Junior suite which was clean, had a large sea facing balcony, a very comfortable bed in or on which we spent a lot of time because the chairs in the sitting area were so uncomfortable. Paying for this added sitting room was a waste of money. Apart from that this is a very well run hotel with exceptionally good staff and good food.
Probably the best hotel on las canteras
Perfect location, excellent service, nice rooms, great pool area and gym, very good breakfast, what more is there to ask for? Well, the breakfast could do with some variety on different days, but that's about all I can think of. Highly recommended.
Surpassed expectations for room size and fittings and dining
Great Location.
Excellent location. Good buffets - both breakfast and evening. Good reception staff. Good Spa and outdoor pool. We were only there for 3 nights and did not worry about room limited view. good to consider your needs upon booking.
Excellent location, hotel with easy access to beach and walks.
Lovely place, lovely & gracious personnel
The wall in the bathroom collapsed while taking a bath.
A wonderfully relaxing hotel
We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing week at this hotel. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The buffet style breakfast and dinner was excellent with plenty of variety. The hotel is situated within a couple of steps from a well kept beach, providing free sun beds and parasol. We also enjoyed the roof top pool and the spa facilities. We definitely plan to return ....
Nice hotel, excellent location, friendly staff.
Much to be appreciated here but some flaws
Good, solid hotel but sleep quality is poor due to mediocre quality beds and lack of double beds means 2 singles get's pushed together and that isn't conducive to a god night's sleep. The buffet breakfast is horrendously bad with regards to food quality and at times the hotel is caught between two stools, aiming to be a high end place and then doing things associated with a budget property, such as charging for cleaning of beach towels and having to hire a bath robe. Identity confusion at this hotel is everywhere. Location great, right on beach with free loungers provided and rooftop pool and bar are also a highlight. Best thing about the hotel are the staff which dealt with issues very fast and without hesitation.
Nice hotels, well cleaned and good gym and swimming pool, but forniture a bit outdated, in the grand suite too. The service and the personal are not trained to work in a 4 stars hotels, sometimes rude, somerimes seems that make u a favour to clean the room (a grand suite) at a time i want... I am in holiday i don't wake up to clear my room in the morning cmon.... now 5 days anyone clean... fortunately the managers are great . But for the price for a suite i expects another type of services... ( i stay for 20 days) . Need really to improve the service , no difference with the service of 1 star hotel in Asia...
we booked the hotel as it was one of the few with car parking, however on the 2nd night hotel had given all their car parking away to people attending an event in the hotel so guests had to find other arrangements, hotel porter & front desk staff were very unhelpful with this or when they finally they gave us directions it was a 25min walking route they supplied knowing we had to drive to park a car ?? The english sections of the in-room hotel information had been removed & not replaced, the bits with times of hotel the bars/restaurants were out of date. Very overpriced for very basic facilities.
A perfect choice in every respect
In 60 years of hotel stays this hotel ranks among the best. The location in Las Palmas is the very best, the staff are very friendly, welcoming and attentive, the breakfast is superb in quality and variety. The room was perfect, especially the bed and shower. Satellite TV and functioning free wifi added to the perfection. Most of all it is great value for money. I will return with my wife in the near future.

This is a great hotel in a great location!! I was traveling by myself and felt so safe!! Beautiful breakfast at no charge!! Great location!
