It is in a very convenient location, with walking distance to many sights, as well as easy access to public transit. The room was clean and comfortable and our host was very friendly. The self check-in/check-out is very straight forward.

Worst experience ever. No staff is available in the night. Wasn't able to check in. I had to book another hotel for the night.

Loved it! Will definitely book again

A few days before our stay, we received an email saying they're unable to host us. We had to find a new accommodation last minute.

Chic boutique

This bnb is the epitome of chic boutique!! Such a charming and cozy place, it was definitely enchanting! The only reason I dropped one happy face is because the shower. The shower stall was so small, I couldn't even move. Every time I tried to turn around, I would hit the faucet handle and the water temperature would change so fast! I either burned or froze in an instant. But overall, I definitely recommend this place!

You are given privacy and space with effective communication. Some people don't like it but it works. Good location

The room was cozy and clean, but it was hard to find the right place.. Even with the instructions, I noticed some tourists struggling with finding the door and the way in. At night the complex was entirely dark..

We spent only one night between trips so the place was convenient for the purpose. Good organization in place with a nice breakfast.

No one on one service to speak of left with codes as was explained to us as “encouraging our independence”, no thanks never again. If there had been anything to go wrong we would have been at anyone’s mercy.

Very nice place - excellent value.

Was a good location with bus stop out the front and a very cool building. Unfortunately their was no free parking as advertised just street parking. Some street parking is free if you are lucky to fluke one but if not it is a real hassle to pay coins in machine and move car every 3 hours from 8am to 6 pm. Night street parking is free in the local area. Also bike rental is only available in this property during summer. When we went in early November the service was not available through the hotel.

Amazing place. We enjoyed a lot. Not easy to find a parking place, but patience is rewarded.

This was a beautiful property with comfy, remodeled room. The bedroom and attached bath were super clean. Staff was friendly, and there were many options for the continental breakfast (which is already in the room at arrival). Rooms had a mini fridge, toaster and coffee maker as well. Electronic entry to the property and the courtyard. Make sure you let the hosts know your arrival time so they can make sure someone is available to greet you. The staff, including the lady who cleans, was super helpful with getting around the city and making recommendations.

Lovely little hotel in a great location

The hotel itself is tucked away in a lovely little courtyard, which meant that it was really quiet and peaceful. Check-in was made super easy, as we received an email with the codes to all of the doors so we could check-in at our own convenience. The room was really spacious and warm, and the bed was really comfy! The location was great - just round the corner from Heroes Square and City Park, and a 10-minute walk away from a metro station, which took you into the centre of Pest, which then offered transport options over to Buda. The only thing that let the hotel down was the breakfast that was left in the room each day - there wasn't really anything wrong with it, it was just that there could have been more. Overall, we loved the hotel and would definitely stay here again if we return to Budapest!

The Johnsons

The hotel is very private and sits in the lower back corner at Damjanich utca 32 in Budapest. Classic famous building with history. Atomic Blond was filmed here - see the movie and see her jump down in the rear courtyard of the hotel. Service was excellent. We wanted to change rooms after the first night of a one week stay and Nidia moved our luggage and belonging to the new room before we were able to put it all together and placed everything exactly as it was - even toothbrushes were in the same position in the new bathroom. Great restaurants walking distance - get reservations days ahead for "Paprika Vendéglő restaurant.

Hotel cancelled our room 1 day before

Experience was poor. Room was cancelled 1 day before arrival by email and options for what we should do very unclear. Email gave a list of alternatives but didn't say that they would book them for us or not. In the end had to book another hotel a few hours before we arrived, lucky we got a room. I don't know if they had my mobile number but that wasn't used to contact me. (email was found in spam, text message left on home phone number after we had already started travelling. Hotel needs a clearer process to contact clients and explain what exactly are the options.

A happy stay

Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is good. How you get breakfast is very different from every other B&B we have been to. You get your next breakfast (packed bread, snack, fruits, juice and yogurt) when the room is being cleaned. This approach can save you some time and provide convenience. But this does mean you won't get any freshly cooked food, such as scrambled/poached egg. The location is OK, a few trolley buses passes the building and metro isn't too far away. The neighbourhood is safe but nothing fancy. Two international supermarkets nearby, so convenient.

Clean, quiet and characterful

We stayed for 2 nights in April during a rail trip in Europe. It was about a 10 minute walk from the main station to this B&B in a very 'local' area. Finding the gate was interesting, hidden amongst small shops, but once inside the huge courtyard it was fantastic. It is a genuinely 'shabby' set of buildings with the Budapestville set at the far end. The welcome we received was warm and we felt a genuine interest in what we wanted to get from our stay. The advice given for restaurants and transport possibilities was perfect, real insider tips. Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated with a decent ensuite shower room. Breakfast is provided in the room and we found a very generous supply of juice, yogurts,cheese & meat, jams, fruit. The packed baked things were fine, but fresh bread is always nicer! Our host was kind and attentive, but not always present which is fine. Easy access to Heroes Square and Szechenyi Spa, also Andrassy Ave. Best to take the underground into main city as it would be a really long walk! Only a few minutes walk to the station. Clean and quiet accommodation, good value budget choice.

Ganz gut, aber als ich hier kamm, niemanden war. Deswegen das war eine Überraschung.

Sehr gute Lage, schönes Haus, gute Vorinformationen, gute Ausstattung (Kaffemaschine, Kühlschrank, Essecke), Frühstück stand bereit und konnte schon abends verspeist werden.

Det var et veldig simpelt og rent rom. Frokosten var ikke imponerende så endte opp med å kjøpt frokost selv. Men selve rommet var stort nok og badet var ganske fint. Første dagen vi var der fungerte ikke dusjhodet, men det fikset de med en gang og de som jobbet der var veldig hygglig. Det var rengjøring av rommet hver dag mens vi var ute, som var veldig fint. Vi følte litt på at beliggenheten var litt for langt unna sentrum, men det var en bussholdeplass rett utenfor hvor busser til sentrum gikk jevnlig.

Zentrale Lage, gut zu erreichen. Sehr ruhig, durch den Innenhof und doch Nahe zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten

숙소 관리 상태는 매우 좋았고 편안했음. 다만 있는동안 단 한번도 직원들을 볼 수없었던 점은 여행의 또다른 기쁨을 반감하는 것이라 생각된다

Midden in Budapest en dan zo’n stilte op de binnenplaats van dit voormalig paleis, in één word geweldig. Minder vond ik de koelkast op onze kamer. Deze maakte wel erg veel geluid.

dichtbij Keleti treinstation ..goed ontbijt .. prima bed . ijskast op kamer maakte veel lawaai , Airco op kamer , echter geen afstandsbediening ..

Buen sitio para alojarse

Pude llegar, claras las observaciones pero nunca hubo nadie para dar información o qué hacer en l ciudad, en ningún momento vi a nadie, de resto el hotel estuvo bueno y cómodo

Hyvä hinta-laatu-suhde

Emme saaneet kertaakaan luvattua aamiaista toimitettuna huoneeseen. Yövyimme Budapest Villessä 3 yötä, mutta aamiaista ei kertaakaan tullut. Muutoin huone oli siisti ja hinta-laatu-suhde kohdallaan.

Mi aspettavo meglio

Il primo impatto non è entusiasmante, cortile accesso anni 50. Una volta entrati le cose sono cambiate in quanto la struttura si presenta pulita, ordinata e organizzata. Il personale salvo 3 minuti per consegna chiavi, spiegazione servizi molto rapida indicandoci una brochure, non si è più visto e/o sentito. Le indicazioni che ci sono pervenute via mail su come arrivare e accesso alla struttura invece erano precise ed esaustive.

ich war nach 11stündiger Fahrt mir ein anderes Hotel zu suchen .!

Im Piroschka nebenan isst man gut

Direkt vor der Tür hält ein Bus, der einen direkt zum Parlament bringt. Auch der Fussweg von der U-Bahn ist nicht so weit. Mehrere Geschäfte und ein Bäcker sind direkt vor Ort und eben das Piroschka, ein wenig angestaubt, aber wir haben hervorragend gegessen ohne Reservierung.

Что-то невероятное. Очень интересное строение, внутри все очень комфортабельно - кофе, чай, сейф, холодильник, превосходная душевая и подробная инструкция от отеля. Высший класс!

Petit déjeuner à disposition dans la chambre la veille à midi pour le lendemain matin. Il s agit de dose de cafe à faire soit même, de produits (saucisson ; et fromage) sous vide. Un peu leger .....

Week End & Half Marathon

Posto molto suggestivo ed accogliente. Alberto ci ha accolto con estrema gentilezza e allegria. Siamo stati molto contenti della struttura e della zona, scelta perchè vicino alla partenza della wizz half marathon. La zona è ben servita dai mezzi di trasporto. Lo gonsiglio vivamante!

空間大，舒適，交通方便，價錢合理，但晚上如果單獨回去會有一點兒靜。推薦這民宿，會再入住。有數架巴士途經附近，另斜對面有一間超市。

Hotel hell - is not hotel - não é um hotel

Ao chegar no estabelecimento a porta estava trancada e não havia ninguem para nos recepcionar. Ficamos horas aguardando até que um vizinho conseguiu contato com alguem que passou o código da porta. Foi uma péssima experiência, não redomendo a ninguém. Upon arriving at the property the door was locked and there was no one to greet us. We waited for hours until a neighbor got in touch with someone who passed the door code. It was a terrible experience, not a winner.

B&B de qualité, très bien situé.

Budapest est une ville magnifique que je recommande sans hésitation. Tous est réuni pour passer un bon moment, l'Histoire, la culture,l'architecture,le bien-être, la fête.. C'est une des mes meilleures destinations.

Vähän vaikea löytää, kun kadulla ei ollut mitään kylttiä majapaaikasta, joka sisäpihan perällä. Todella ystävällinen ja avulias henkilökunta, aamiainen tuotiin huoneeseen jo edellispäivänä, kahvit vain keitettiin itse keittimellä.

Hermoso y tipico lugar!

Nuestra estadía, aunque fue solo de una noche, estuvo perfecta! Alberto nos atendió muy amablemente, nos dio muy buenos consejos de la ciudad y la habitación era muy linda y limpia. Definitivamente volvería a hospedarme aqui!

Unfair treatment and denial of arrival

Room was requested with an exemplary settlement time (after completion of reception) as it was a trip by car from another country with borders. The only condition was to send SMS for an hour before the arrival of what has been done. On arrival we were not wanted, and when the call was told to look for another location. And that night, after a long difficult road! Awful! The hotel also withdrew from the card the cost of one night. Top cynicism!

Zentrales B&B mit super freundlichem Service

Ich habe den PickUp-Service vom Flughafen genutzt. Der Inhaber des B&B Alberto hat sich im Vorfeld um Alles gekümmert. Nach Ankunft hat mich Alberto in Empfang genommen. Zimmer ist groß, sauber und modern eingerichtet. Alles zur besten Zufriedenheit.
