Good for a short stay

We stayed for 2 nights and overall it was a good stay. I noticed some stairs have tiles coming off when walking to breakfast, needs some fixing. Also, we had booked 'Lavender Deluxe' room but we upgraded our room to Maple wing because our room was dull and not the same as it looked in the pictures. My sister had to have her room changed because their toilet was broken and the sink wasn't clean when they checked in. The newer rooms seem to be much better. Spa was good to relax, staff was friendly and the massage was really good as well. Highly recommend if you're spending a couple of days here. Hotel staff were friendly and accomodating with travel help and anything else we needed.

Resort is good and so is the management. Food quality is average and take a little longer than usual. Wifi, SPA, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam, billiards, carrom, TT, Fuzz Ball and everything in good shape. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Have a very romantic ambience at night. They also plan activities like treks, live music, tambola, dance floor with DJ. Will surely visit again

Excellent place to stay.

The hotel receptionist was not well trained as she din know the how to deal with the customers and also when the rooms were available they denied it..and later offered us with some other vacant rooms but the manager was really helpful and he did organise the same room somehow which we booked as there was a lot of confusions for one room booked by two different customers..also the service is real slow..but the oak suite was fab..nice n cozy😊

Fabulous stay !

Wonderful place, high price but then don't worry!!

Wonderful place!! Can't complain pretty much about anything - everything is just so good ... as always, price is high though, but if you are ready for it, just go for it!!!!

Online booking made was a bigger room but the one provided was of smaller size. Room furniture quality needs to be improved while toiletries were to be requested to be given.

The resort and the facilities were excellent. Food was great Minus point was the unfriendliness of front office staff when we checked in (We had some anomalies in our booking which could have been resolved in a more polite way). It took some time for us to get over this unpleasant incident.

Great property. Staff needs to up the hospitality standards. But the hotel management is guest friendly.

View from Cottages is great. Very well maintained property. Good Swimming Pool and activities. Our group had 3 toddlers and the Children's play room was good and adequate. The hotel can perhaps have more activities for 10+ year old kids. Staff was efficient and the reception team was quick to check-in and check-out.

Beautiful gardens and nice hospitable staff. Can improve by offering a check out time of standard 12 pm rather than 10 am (check in at 2 pm.)

Relaxing stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at Brightland. The location is excellent though almost in middle of Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar. Our cottage duplex was wonderful and comfortable for four of us - 2 adults and 2 children.

Relaxing stay

If you are looking for a relaxing stay without hassle of sightseeing this is a good place. It offers excellent valley views. Rooms are okay. Be sure to choose correct room after seeing the pictures as you may get confused. Do not opt for cottage apartment deluxe as the rooms are cramped. Service is okay but not proactive. Overall I give 3/5.

Our experience could have been better

One of the best hotel experiences in Mahableshwar but did not get what was promised. I had booked Maple suite . The site mentioned Valley view and deep bath tub. I was disappointed to find neither of them. Only half of these rooms had valley view. They had called and confirmed to keep anniversary cake when we check in as it was our 5th Anniversary. But no arrangements. In room service was great and the staff was polite and courteous .

stay in silence

Good stay. Nice Neat and clean place. But unfortunately under renovation so only one restaurants were operational.Good Food. But PETS NOT ALLOWED and its no good.

Christmas Day

Lovely location, great food. We dined by the poolside onChristmas day, however by the evening got a bit chilly, would suggest a few patio heaters.

Good location, good food. Had booked through Hotels. Com website and voucher mentioned that tariff included charges for Christmas Gala dinner. Disappointed to note that there was no such Christmas eve and hotel mentioned that this was an error on part of Expedia (Hotels. Com). As a customer, I did not get the benefit that I was entitled for. Now following up with Hotel and booking website.

Overall the experience was wonderful. Especially enjoyed the food. Staff took great care in providing gluten free items to one of the guests.

Awesome stay

Fantastic stay! We especially loved the breakfast everyday.

Really disappointed

Totally different from the website. The room is too old. The pictures on the wall were covered with plastic (I don't know why). Shower curtain too dirty! The reception not nice (very cold). Our plan was the meals but no hot drink was included for lunch and buffet. Big panoramic window of the restaurant not clean. It was not the value of the price. Normally I won't write on the site but I was really surprised and disappointed this time with the gap of the picture and the reality.

Fabulous hotel and staff, great facilities. Had spa treatments and purchased some products, all excellent. Service and food in restaurant impeccable. Would recommend

Flies in the restaurant is not acceptable . Staff requires an alert to pick up plates from the table .

Very comfortable and secluded property

Amazing place with polite and cheerful staff. The heated swimming pool was being done up but will be up and running in month or two. Excellent for those who like to walk around this beautiful countryside...!

Hotel was good but they need to work on their power back up.. Power cut was quite often within 24 hours.

The description of the hotel says that it has 2 swimming pool, warm & cold water but it has none.. The hotel staff has no idea of the food they are serving.. Food is pathetic except the breakfast.. Room service is bad.. Rates are very high compared to the services that are provided..

shabby and average hotel in a great location

It was a dissapointing experience with the room and amenties in the resort both below par and of poor standard. I would not bother to stay there again or recommend it to others.

Clean Hotel

Loved the property!

The stay was average. service wasn't the best, Intercom not working, Hot water had not been activated and the staff ended up wasting 10 buckets of water to get the hot water finally. Really BAD service. Breakfast was average,mainly Indian Veg stuff.

Weekend @ brightland resort mahableshwar,

Rooms were good, but hotel staff doesnot look impressive. They looked tired and frustated. Rooms Rate is costly and does not look reasonable.

Poor Deal

I paid for a cottage duplex room thinking I am getting great views; instead my view was the dustbin. Upon requesting a similar room at the same rate the rude hotel manager kept saying since I booked through hotels.com and expedia - I can only get what i booked; even though the rooms next to the pool were less expensive and had a better view. Overall staff and service was great but the lady manager and her colleague were rude. I will never come back here as they cheated me and gave me a room with the most pathetic view.

Good place to stay

The hotel was very good. The location was very nice and the views were awesome, especially from the Bar. The only grouse was that the limited choice of food available in the bar. Our stay was for a night only so could not utilize all the facilities. Spa was very good and the staff was very courteous.

This is my second visit to Bright Land. I like their resort. it is well spread , variety of rooms. Good room service. next time I would like to stay in Mapple room.

Best property in Mahableshwar

One of the best and oldest property. Newly done up wings lavender and maple make up for a great stay. Excellent food particularly barbecue and Italian .. Are a must haves. Great view from anywhere in the resort

Get your room location confirmed before booking

The assigned cottage for this internet booking through hotels.com were not the best of the lot. They have no views, very remote from restaurants/swimming pool, was main road facing and rather noisy since the car park was just adjacent to the rooms. The water boiler and power transformers were also besides the room that made it worse. The service staff, overall hospitability & food was very decent. The swimming pool is good and it compliments with jacuzzi, sauna and steam facilities. Except for the room location (which was the worst experience for this star rated resort) all other facilities were good.

Good Resort Enjoyed the stay

Was staying in the cottage category of rooms. Overall layout of the room is good, it has a separate living and a bedroom space. The only disappointment was the bathroom which was very small. In comparison to the room the size is small and not comfortable hence the rating. Wifi is free which is good, this room has a attached balcony which is also a good plus point. The restaurants are good quality of food is nice prices little on the higher side but no complains. the best thing about this resort is the Spa which is worth a visit. It also has a solar heated pool which i thought was a cool addition. Lot of space for the kids to have fun as well. Overall a good resort to stay in.

Excellent weekend getaway

We had a great time at Brightlands Holiday Village. The resort has a great ambience, excellent food and a marvelous spa. Also, with 5 restaurants, you get a variety of food to choose from. The staff was very courteous.

Brightland is a nice resort.great service .though a bit expensive ;food is good .Rooms are big and clean .
