Professional and helpful service

It was really an amazing experience to us. The first room I booked was meant for 4 pax with sauna, the layout of the room is not great and with the sofa bed set up, the living room hanging light seems to be out of the way and we kept knocking into it. However, my friend has a last minute change of their travelling plan and needed to leave earlier. Hence we contacted Bob W to request to down-size our room. They are very helpful and professional, helped us to check availability and assisted us to change to another room meant for 2 on our remaining nights. This room although is slightly smaller without sauna, we like the layout of the room much better, it is spacious and comfortable.

Excellent location

Location was excellent! The penthouse was spacious and there was more than enough room for our family of 6. There are many restaurant options nearby and Senate Square is just several minutes walk away.

Clean, comfy and still quiet right in the city cen

Spotless, comfortable beds, right in the city centre. All you need in the kitchen and in bathrooms is available. Check in, though all digital, is smooth. Though, we didnt have heating working all well, and then communication is a bit hard, since we just received generated mails, but not a personal feed back on the heating issue. But we managed, the weather wasnt freezing yet. All in all, a lovely stay.

Not what I expected.

I reserved a penthouse apartment with sauna. The sauna did not work, communication was only one way, manager never responded, there was a floor plank that was rolling up and became a hazard because it was in the middle of the room and we tripped several times. The double size sofa bed is not a double, more like a wide twin, with a bar underside that was very uncomfortable.

This is a great place to stay! Being very close to the central station made meeting friends extremely convenient. Every comfort had been considered; the premium bed sheets, classic chairs, and sauna were brilliant. The kitchen was new and quite good. The lighting was also nice and relaxing with plenty of control. One simple, fixable issue we encountered was the dining table having uneven legs, making it a bit wobbly. Overall, everything was great and we wish we could stay there longer.

Great location and size for our family of 4. Walking distance to all we wanted to see and do. We found it difficult to regulate the temperature via radiators and aircon. Too warm. But otherwise great.

Close to everything.

Besides the location, the property exceeded our expectations. It was spacious and the attention to detail made our stay a very pleasant one. The personal touches such as the notice board, camera etc were really nice. Communication was excellent and all in all the apartment felt very welcoming. Defiantly a place i would highly recommend.

We had a great stay with Bob and really loved the personal touch with the handwritten message, whatsapp to stay in touch, chocolates, polaroid. Everything we needed was provided and it felt like a home stay. When there were issues, the staff were responsive and settled them quickly. We could also store our luggage in the luggage room before or after checkout using a code which was great for our late night train. Location was good, with a metro station and supermarket just round the corner and a short walk to the railway station. We could also walk to senate square and esplanadi easily or take the tram. If there was anything to nitpick, the shower area was not enclosed so the water may flow out to the dry area but nothing significant to affect our stay. Will highly recommend and try out Bob apartments in other cities if i have the chance 😄

I booked the Finnish Design Penthouse for one night and liked the apartment so much that I wished I could stay longer. It was exactly what I was looking for: a modern Nordic-style apartment, with all the amenities you'd expect in your second home, and in a great location on a quieter side street but still within a quick walk from all parts of downtown Helsinki. After booking the stay, there was a quick check-in process online, and I got the door code that allowed access to the building and the apartment during my stay. There was also a personal online mini-portal with information about access to a gym, wifi password, and other useful details. The apartment was clean, quiet, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with all the kitchen and bathroom amenities to make even a demanding traveler happy. The air conditioning kept the place cool even during a hot late-summer day, and in the morning it was nice to shut off the AC, open the windows, and let in the morning breeze. I really liked how much the place felt like a second home and not a hotel room. The only minor downside was that the bed was so big that there wasn't very much room on either side of it—not even for a nightstand. This wasn't a surprise, though, since the bedroom was exactly how it had looked like in the pictures when I viewed the property online before booking.

Perfect apartment close to city centre

Perfect. Very clean, spacious, and well equipped apartment in an excellent location close to city centre and station. Friendly and responsive communication. Would stay here again if visiting Helsinki.

Was told there was on site parking. Never told parking was under construction so not knowing the signs we got a ticket the first day and there will be an additional fee from the rental company. We should have been told about the parking We chose this place partially because of parking on site

This is a fantastic place. The location is great - very close to train station. The place is quiet thanks to the deep and multiple paned windows. We had the penthouse and it was very large. The sauna in the room was the best. We planned afternoon sauna time each day of our stay.

Superb location with clean and spacious rooms

Superb location and a lovely venue. Big bathroom and loved the sauna! We put out child in the main bedroom and used the fold out sofa, which functioned very well as a proper bed and we slept well.

Check in and communicate were a breeze. The location is a easy walk from the central rail station and has many shops and cafes close by

Lovely stay. We were contacted (possibly by Bob himself) at the start and end of the stay to check in, which was a nice touch. We loved all the extras, especially the free chocolate and the polaroids from other people who had stayed. Brilliant location for sightseeing in Helsinki. The apartment was very well appointed and sparkling clean. Could not fault our stay and would like to thank all the staff at Bob W Helsinki!

Great location and within short walking distance of the central station, other transport links, shops and sightseeing. Clean and modern apartment with comfortable bed and sofa bed. Keyless entry great for a late check in. Great customer service, although we had a few small issues they were rectified easily and quickly. Would definitely visit again. Thank you.

Nice spot in the middle of the town

Bob W is in a great, central spot in Helsinki. The room was spotless. I could well have been the first person ever to stay there. For the first night, my room had noise from the heating system. I could not sleep, but Bob W switched me to a comparable but quiet room quickly the next day. Overall, communication was quick, straightforward, and helpful. Will stay at Bob W again.

We had a wonderful experience at Bob W City Centre. Great location. Excellent property. Amazing customer service. Hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Room was modern, cozy and super clean! Bed comfort can not be beat. Netflix and other TV apps, washer/dryer, kitchenette, yoga mats, gym access, charger, and the chocolate(instant fave!) I highly recommend Bob W for anyone visiting Helsinki.

Modern 1 bedroom apartment with all you need in a great central location near metro and central station. There are cafés and a gym near-by but I prefer this at the property

Best Of Both Worlds

If you want a 2 bed apartment in central Helsinki then this is the apartment for you. It’s got a good kitchen setup and has the bedrooms. In one bedroom is the sofa and TV and the other large bedroom is also in place. The apartment is on the fourth floor with no lift but it’s communal areas were clean and well maintained with lights also present. We would happily come back and enjoy another “Best Of Both Worlds” apartment. The landlord is very quick to respond to queries or issues and is very supportive of you just want some local advice.

The room was so amazing. He was very nice and helpful host. Everything you imagine was right there in the room such as laundry. How to get a key was quite confusing. The key lock was quite far from the property. No elevator

Excellent property, Enjoyed the stay with family. Very clean and tidy.A big TV with netflix and amazon prime.and nice onkyo speaker with bluetooth for enjoying music. Enjoyed the tv video game - playing Mario, Contra(Nostalgic moment). Very close to Metro,Tram and Bus stop.All sightseeing places are easily accessible from the house.House is very spacious.Super market is less than 100 metres away.Property owner (Bob) is very supportive to answer your queries anytime. Will definitely recommend to others and will visit next time too.

The cleanliness and comfortable to stay. But if check in during night time, the place was too quiet and seems a bit dangerous.

Simple but stylish and in a great location this was the perfect apartment for our family. There are some really nice touches too such as the coffee and tea provided and the polaroid camera to take a photo and leave on the guest board.

This apartment superceded my expectations. It's super clean, spacious, and has great amenities. The host was diligent in responding to my needs, concerns, and questions.
