It's a solid place to stay for a few days with a large room and an adequate kitchen. The bed was a little too soft/plush for us. The furniture, carpet and tile were clean but could use some updating

Very pleased

This was a great base for a stay in Queenstown. Check in and checkout was easy and flexible, and bag storage was available. Amenities were good. The only negative was that it was easy to hear everything around you including next door, tour buses arriving in the early hours and nearby roadworks during the night.

This was perfect. A comfortable place to stay. Everything that we needed. Excellent, friendly staff in the office. Great to have a parking place. Easy walk into Queenstown.

Great location, good facilities

Check in was easy. They offered me a milk. The room was clean and large. Parking was tight. I Slept well.

We got one of the second story rooms. Great view of the lake and mountains. Very little intraction with staff. No breakfast. Room was comfortable, not huge. Location is an easy walk to downtown. Parking was available but crowded. Facilities pretty limited. Suited us fine.

Receptionists could have been kinder. Would not give one minute past 10:00 a.m. check out time. Were willing to keep out bags in locked room.

The bed area is very tight with little space around the bed to manoevre. It didn't help that the tiny kitchen area was at the side of the bed. There was no sink to wash dishes in other than the tiny wash hand basin. We were lucky to get the car parked ouside our unit but space seems to be at a premium. However it was clean and everything we needed was provided.

No air con or fans provided. Very expensive for what we got.

Well furnished dormitory style two bedroom. Plenty of space. Our unit had a separated shower and tub. The tub was oversized and a delightful hot soak. Bathroom could use more hooks for racks.

Love the location

Property is easy walking distance to downtown. Cleanliness was high, bed comfortable, hot water worked fine. Kitchen is adequately outfitted. Checkout is early (10 AM) but that seems common in Queenstown. Luggage storage room is locked, self-service (with key from reception desk), and easily accessible.

great location, 5 mins walk to waterfront, rooms suited our needs with cooking facilities, helpful staff.

Great location, poor check in system states from 3.00pm so one would think 3.00pm would be acceptable however at 3.45 room was still not ready. No aircon and weird tv that needs guests to connect to their wifi to log in. Sounds petty however the worst t/bags ever. Stay in lots of places and it was clean but average

Good location… no chance of a sleep in though very noisy area from 7am onwards

We had a great stay at Blue Peaks Lodge. It's location was excellent, an easy 5 minute walk into Queenstown CBD restaurants and marina. The room and facilities were as expected. Would stay here again.

1st 2 nights in NZ

Very comfortable bed. Problem with door key sorted. Location of room 303 rather exposed to the street and large vehicle with trailer, second night, spoiled the view and noisy am. Otherwise good stay.

Nice and good location.

Hotel is in a great location close to botanical gardens and short walk to the water front. We were able to park our car at the hotel and walk to most places which was handy as there is only paid parking throughout town. We arrived late one day with no parking left at hotel, as not a car space available per room. Rooms are large with everything you need though quite dated. Overall a great stay in Queenstown.

Perfect walking distance to the city centre. Clean facilities. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay seamless with a 4 month old baby

Blown away with how clean and tidy it was and quick to replace anything asked for. Unfortunately they don’t answer their phone.

The actual rooms are not like the excellent rooms pictured on the website and Expedia. My studio room had a carpark for another unit one step outside my door. I was moved to a different room with no privacy. On my third day I requested some extra milk and was told that they only give out milk on your arrival day. The room was not serviced during my 5 day/4 night stay. It was close to town with a bus stop outside. I would never stay there again for the price I paid per night.

Great views and location

Wonderful place to stay in Queenstown! The staff was very helpful at check in, giving us some great activity and food ideas. The hotel is a short walk from restaurants and activities downtown. Oh, and the view of the lake from our room was spectacular!

Great for families

Overall nice hotel, the best thing about the room was the size and full kitchen. Perfect for a full family or long stay.

Liked everything about the property. Cleanliness and convenience only thing missing was an aircon for the hot evenings.

I’ve stayed at Blue Peaks two times this year. It’s in a great walkable location to central Queenstown. It has onsite parking. Rooms are a bit outdated but very comfortable. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend staying here. If we do come back to Queenstown, I would stay here again.

Spacious, clean well appointed room(we had the 1 bedroom) Everything you need for a comfortable stay with updated decor, comfy bed and plenty of storage. On site car parking and a short walk to the main town areas.

I am happy with service and facilities

We spent one night in Queenstown. We drove out to the wineries and walked to the Kiwi Park. We parked the car at the hotel and walked to the Kiwi Park. We walked to breakfast and dinner. There are so many options available.

A 5 minute walk to downtown. Note: The area where this hotel is and many others is hilly. You will have to walk down to downtown and up to return. If you have trouble walking, stay somewhere to the west of downtown. Overall, good property with a nice living room option.

It was conveniently located. Clean and big.

Stayed in the service apartments- was a little hard to find as we had to get the keys from reception and then hard to get up the steps with our suitcases to our apartment

We had the best stay here! A clean affordable space. It was central, only being less than a 5min walk into the town centre, and there was free accessible parking. Staff were also lovely and helpful. We will definitely book here again next time we are down!

The property is very basic, no air-condition, you can hear your next door when they talk and they do shower.

Hotel was clean and well maintained. I liked the on site laundry. There was no towel/room cleaning service and I found it difficult to keep towels dry between uses. Soundproofing was not great. Most perplexing thing was the bathroom which was most impractical I have ever encountered. Zero room for toiletries next to sink so toothbrush/contact lenses etc had to be stored on window ledge which was the other side of the toilet. What could possibly go wrong......??

Needs updating for sure. Price was good. Black hairs in the bathroom si nk when we arrived. Arrived at 3.30 our room wasn't ready. Location was good.

Nice location. The only issue I had with this place was that there was no room servicing. I stayed for three days, and my rubbish got quite smelly after three days. Probably wouldn't stay again

Awesome location!

Amazing location with lots of parking! Walking to the wharf, restaurants, grocery store, ice bars, etc was quick. Very convenient location! We had a two bedroom with kitchenette and a living room. Some of the dishes in the kitchen cabinet were dirty and needed to be washed prior to use and the sofa arm rest was stained/dirty. The rest of the place was clean though and there was a charge for room service if you wanted them to clean. Laundry was NZ$5 each for washer and for dryer. Reception staff very friendly and made our stay really convenient.

Check in process was a breeze, arrival is hassle free.The location is excellent, just steps away from a variety of restaurants and supermarket. The room featured a mini kitchen, adding a nice homey touch experience. It was clean, spacious for a standard room. I highly recommend this for comfort and convenience.

The room is outdated and dark, the back sliding door facing the parking lot so unable to open the curtain at all. The front door is in the back of the building and it’s narrow and dark. The bed and pillows are uncomfortable. It is in a Good location, near town center. Front desk lady is very helpful and nice.

We were a bit early but we were advised the room would be ready at 3pm. We came back at 3, still not ready. We had to wait for the room for another 35 mins.

Great place!

The room was very spacious and felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. Kitchenette area was a good size. The bathroom was large and very clean. The location was great as we could walk to the Wharf area and just leave our car parked during our stay.

We really enjoyed our overall stay in Blue Peaks even though we only stayed one night. The room themselves were really clean and had everything we needed. The staff were really friendly, always with smiles on their faces and very helpful as well as accommodating. The location was also very ideal since it’s only a short walk to the lakefront. Thank you very much! We would definitely come again 😁

My friend and I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen, lounge area, separate toilet, bathroom with a shower and a separate tub. It was a little outdated decor wise but it was very comfortable. Awesome location with a short walk to the waterfront. Not a big incline to walk back up. I would definitely recommend to stay here.

Didnt like the smell of the scented airfreshner used!

This is in an area with many different hotels and is an easy walk to the main city centre. Our basic room was up to date and well stocked but was tiny - one side of the bed was up against where the combo closet/tea/coffee was located. We could also easily hear our neighbors, which luckily wasn’t an issue past 9pm but could have been. Overall for a basic room this is a good 1 night stay, but I would be wary of staying longer unless upgrading.

Location is great. Not as nice as the photos show. Bathroom did not smell clean.

We booked a lake view room however the only view we had was the man pressure washing outside and other buildings, lack of car parking space, toilet clogged on first flush and was out of order for the first night, shower also leaked all through the hallway into the living room, tv didn’t work, hand soap was also the body wash, fridge didn’t work ether nothing chilled in it, lack of cutlery, lack of rubbish space as well, beds were comfy tho, lady at reception was nice though, washing machines and dryer were mint, front door and toilet door wouldn’t close properly and would randomly open unless you slammed it shut, no air conditioning ether which was frustrating since it’s summer.

I would love to show a picture of the front door and back door. We had a nice breeze going through, no air conditioning, and someone parked their mini van right up to the doors and cut off the air. Couldn’t open the doors to enjoy the weather no out door furniture. A good place to get in late and just go to sleep
