.
Nice hotel with safe parking.
Good location but
The only downside was the beds and hallway acoustics. The beds were not very comfortable and hallways made everything out in the hallway sound amplified. The room was clean and the hotel was located near several good places to eat. If I were to choose this hotel again I'd bring earplugs and my own pillow.
Very clean and reasonable rooms
The front desk staff is very friendly.
It was ok
Excellent
This hotel did the job of what we needed - somewhere to sleep & shower. The shower we did have did not feel clean on the bottom and recommend the property management to reroute the showers as some shower mold is present. The room was clean and tidy but the doors to our room and others do not have easy close fixtures so the doors slam and it’s very noisey if you are on the first floor. Highly recommend higher floor. The staff is AMAZING though. Must say they were attentive and resolved any issue I came across. 10/10 to the morning and night staff. Parking was fantastic and sooo thankful and the real reason we booked here.
It was a fine stay
Great breakfast. Nice and pleasant staff. Limited parking
Two night stay- property was great, but be aware it’s a block or two from a rough part of town. Good security though and inside parking. EV charging too.
Amazing location!
Like closness to Union Square and Other visitors places. Rooms are clean and nice. Breakfast items are good. Free parking which is big money saver. Do not like area with lot of homeless people which is true for San Francisco. Overall good place to visitors who wants to just park their car safely and take Uber/Lift /Wyemo to go.
The staff was super nice! Very clean rooms
DO NOT STAY HERE if you value your sleep. Stayed here last weekend before a long drive and I did not get a wink of sleep AT ALL. Place was filled with drunk party kids who have no regard for others (screaming in the hallway, banging their doors til 4am). Parking is free but very sucky (cramped and no in and out privileges after 9pm). Front desk was always locked and they had to buzz you in everytime even during the morning of checkout (goes to show the employees are afraid of the area). Surrounded by homeless people on all corners. Room was fine, looks like the pictures but overall sketchy area. This is the second time we stayed here (booked way in advance and they were nonrefundable, but if the room was refunded, would not have stayed a second time. That being said, we would not stay here again. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD.
Property is excelent and breakfast were pretty good
Street noise was unbearable sirens every ten minutes no sleep all night
All good
Was surprised with a 250$ safety deposit for a one night stay
Solo traveller
Only stayed one night, room was very comfortable, had everything I needed, I wouldn’t book again though due to the location and as a solo traveller didn’t feel particularly safe
The inn is beautiful and staff was very helpful. Even when expedia messed up and didn't complete the process of letting them know i had purchased a room they were able to help me.
Good rooms for the price
It was clean.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice little stay.
I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and looked really nice, which was a big plus. The staff was super friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast had a lot of options, so that was great too. Parking was secure, which made me feel better about leaving my car there. Overall, a very nice place to stay and would highly recommend!
awful neighborhood. no hot water. lame breakfast,
Pretty decent place to stay, definitely cleaner than other places in the area. But it is definitely not a place you want to walk around the two blocks surrounding it.
The hotel was nice, the employees were friendly! But.... the area was terrible, we were scared to go here. Homeless people every where, I seen several people doing drugs on the sidewalk across the street from the hotel. It was a very scary part of town. Definitely do not go here if you have kids.
Great place to stay.
Neighborhood
The hotel itself was very nice. Clean. Pretty good breakfast. Nice rooms. But visitors should be aware that it is right on the cusp of a more sketchy neighborhood which got kind of creepy. We had NO problems while there but it isn't the best. In one direction it is great and in the other not great.
Not the safest area
This hotel is non refundable because once you get there you won't want to stay and when you ask for a refund they can't and won't. After raising the concern of not feeling safe due to people right outside the hotel screaming all night I was told oh well this is San Francisco. They were rude and unhelpful. We checked out early with a refund and had to pay for another hotel. There is limited parking on site somid you are there late you will have to park on the street outside where locals they warn you about have access to you car. DO NOT RECOMMEND
Center to walk around everything
The place was overall ok. Sheets had some dried blood. Parking was ok. Kinda hard to maneuver around it since it was small. Area around the hotel was sketchy but felt safe inside because there was security cameras and you needed your key card to access the elevators.
Stayed here for an event at Bill Graham Auditorium. It was a 5 minute walk down the road so access was easy. The location can’t be beat, and the facilities were clean and cozy. Staff was great, breakfast was good, great place to stay when you’re in town!
Front dest
Great employees
Affordable clean stay in SF (with parking!)
Very clean room, free parking with room reservation, shower had good water pressure & temperature, the free breakfast had a great variety of beverages and food. Our room was along an alley way and it was kind of noisy at night (but could be expected for San Francisco, especially the Tenderloin area)
The room itself was GREAT. Very updated and very clean. Staff was also great! The area around was unfortunately not great at all but that is due to the area we were in.
the Hotel is in the middle of the City, so you can hear all the noise from the ambulance, cars etc all night long.
Right in the middle of skid row! Drugs being done, man walking around waving large knife! Cant get your car in or out after 9pm. Hotel itself is fine, newly redone. Fine if you are checking in to just sleep and leave. Otherwise don’t stay. Staff was rude and told me to not look out window if I didn’t want to see people shooting up drugs
Police sirens non stop all night, and homeless shouting. Not recommended with kids
Todo buen excepto los homeless afuera.
It was good to have a safe parking space in the hotel area. Excellent breakfast provided. Clean room and showers! Towel needs to be placed.
Great location for pride. But super unsafe at night.
Really well kept and amazing service
Didn't like the area very much with respect to the homeless people. Although it seemed safe during the day, my wife was very concerned about the area and at night it didn't feel at all safe.
Great hotel, not a great area. Disappointed it didn't have a pool but having paid parking overnight was a big plus.
It was a great hotel enjoyed the accommodations.
The hotel seems renovated and room/facilities are nice and clean. However the area, although convenient, has unhoused individuals stationed right outside and some were randomly yelling at passersby or to themselves and in the middle of the night. Very noisy room at night and early morning, was hard to rest well, has free breakfast but the space is very small. Parking is free but limited and not enclosed, some spaces are basically on the curve so I was worried all night but thankfully the only vandalism was someone smeared something on my car but they didn’t break or stole anything.
The room wasn’t gross or anything and the parking was thankfully somewhat separated from the street. But it seems there is essentially a Homeless District in this part of town and this hotel is smack dab in the middle of it. Loud, urine smell, crazy open drug use. I basically just took a nap and went to the baseball stadium. The street people weren’t violent at least but I’m sure a lot of people would be scared to stay here.
Great for family
Not to far from tourists’ popular destinations
Staff was very attentive
Nice, glad to have free parking
Clean and convenient. Balcony and parking available! Friendly staff. Helpful check-in. Early check-in available!
Excellent and helpful checkin staff. Simple, clean, accesible, with small balcony. Small breakfast area. Kind breakfast staff.
The rooms & bathrooms were very clean. The staff incredibly nice and friendly. Parking was very convenient and safe. The area around the hotel is dirty and very noisy.
Lovely receptionist ver helpful
Clean environment
The room was okay, free parking and free breakfast was a hit but the area wasn’t that great. The bathroom had black hair all over like it wasn’t cleaned after the last people. The area was a little sketchy behind the hotel was an alley where there were homeless. Overall the room was good, bed was comfortable. But the area was great location for the great American music hall.
Nice updated property with nice staff!
Fairly new hotel! Was surprised by how well it's kept for the price we pay.
All was good
Is a little unsafe, there's a lot of adicts
All good
All over good
Room doesn’t have microwave and refrigerator was not working.
The staff were excellent and very accommodating. The hotel is older, but still clean. There are a lot of homeless people who seem to reside right across the street. The staff are very aware and make sure you and your vehicle aren’t bothered by them.
Our stay was fine, the room was good and beds seemed new, the only problem we had was so much homeless all around and the parking was free but it was so small and they don’t really have a stall to park your car and check in that there was two cars ahead of us to check in and all we wanted to do was park but the only way we could park was to wait we parked on the bottom of the hotel which was gated but took forever to open the gates and parking was so small we are average size people that my wife had to get out the car before we parked in the stall. So I would recommend get their early to get better parking.
Property was beautiful - would recommend a stay here. Their parking is safe and blocked off from the street. The area has an alley nearby that is full of tents and lots of drug use.
Kind staff but noisy/risky area
The hotel is clean and the staff are very kind. The issues are that parking is limited and you can't reserve a spot, the surrounding area has a lot of unhoused people, and you can hear everything going on outside and in other rooms.
The hotel was clean and nice but it is in a horrible part of the tenderloin. There were junkies doing drugs all around the hotel and sirens going off all night. Definitely didn’t feel safe to walk on the streets at all
The homeless encampment alongside the motel was extremely noisy all night and the rooms were not quiet.
The homeless encampment alongside of the motel was very noisy all night.
Homeless camp right outside our window. My daughter watched them doing drugs… it led to a good conversation between us but it was very sad. Not exactly the vacation we had planned.
The Hotel was extremely good. Super clean!! The staff very friendly, the breakfast was great and everything fresh and again, extremely clean! The area was not too good, but its ok. Will go again every time i travel to San Francisco!
Reviews on Yelp don’t do this place justice. Hotel is clean and staff was pleasant! Our view consisted of tents and transients but my boyfriend was entertaining himself but making up stories of what was going on down there lol so I rated it a 3 😂
Nice spot for the area , You’d be surprised how clean it is “ON” the property !!
That area of the city is crowded and the noise was mostly from sirens doing their jobs.
Perfect stay in the downtown. Highly recommend.
We really loved the stay. Pros: Breakfast Staff Rooms Cons: Nothing :) Everything went well and this will be our 1st option in future.
Very close to the great American music hall.
Ok area
I don't often write reviews, and admittedly only write negative ones, but I'm making an exception in this case. I liked this hotel. The room was clean, and spacious, and the front desk staff was always nice and helpful. I'll give the breakfast five stars for free breakfasts. I know there are a lot of negative reviews about the homeless people on the streets, and there certainly are, but walking to restaurants, I was never bothered for handouts or anything else. I hate to waste food, so I carried my leftover out and certainly always found a willing recipient. Would definitely stay here again. Can't beat the price, especially with the parking included.
Staff were excellent. Very helpful and pleasant. Could not sleep in the night because of the yelling and fighting sound outside the hotel. Very scared to walk around the area due to filthy and dangerous situations.
Nice hotel
Nice hotel but the city area is risky and noisy. But the service and hotel is pretty good.
Really enjoyed my stay here- staff nice, clean nice rooms for good price, and yummy free breakfast is a plus! I will definitely come back whenever I plan another overnight trip to SF.
Not a fan of the area the hotel is in, but that's not really the hotel's fault. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. They even let us check in a bit early.
Room was clean and good looking, staff was very friendly especially front desk and breakfast buffet ladies.
Gem in the hood
Would have given 5 stars but many " transients" right outside the hotel. It's s not the fault of the hotel, but location....... By the way, walked with my wife at night back to the hotel ( through transient territory". No one bothered us.
Close to everything
Loved free parking room was nice . There are a lot of homeless people around.
I found everything clean and efficient. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, our light in the bathroom was faulty and kept coming on during the night waking us every hour or so. Apparently they had known about the fault, but still put us in the room anyway. Very frustrating. Otherwise, a central place to stay when touring.
Too many homeless people around the area
Very Convenient and close to SFO civic center
The staff were great. Our room was spacious especially the bathroom. Everything was very clean in the room. The grounds of the building were clean. Be aware of the general area this hotel is located beside The Tenderloin area.
So many homeless around the area!
Great place to stay no issues with the actual hotel great service and rooms were clean. Hotel has no control with what goes on outside in the streets. This is San Francisco
Too noisy
I loved my stay here! I will definitely be back.
Great room and parking included, very noisy outside so definitely bring ear plugs! Other than that, excellent room
