Ok hotel. Little roaches and one desk clerk had poor customer service.

I checked in late last night and the staff wasn’t very friendly, their were people hanging out smoking on the property. Once inside the building the stench of something died reeked on the second floor. Upon entering the room I was greeted with roaches in the room, and bathroom. The room wasn’t very clean. The towels were dirty and crunchy. I have a small child and I’m utterly disgusted and disappointed. I will never stay at this hotel again nor will I recommend anyone else to stay here. The aesthetics looks good but don’t be fooled.

The hotel smelled like weed. There was broken glass all in the parking lot. Our beds had bed bugs. The hotel staff would not refund my money. They only gave me a number to corporate. Horrible horrible. Nothing like the picture’s online

Hotel Is Old

Hotel was quite old. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Could have been cleaner. Once checked in I had to call for room service to change bedding which I forgot to take a picture of. The bathtub still had hair and stains in it. There was a baby roach coming out of the juicer in the breakfast room as I was about to get apple juice. I was too disgusted to snap that photo and scurried out of there fast. Let me just say be ware. Otherwise customer service was excellent!! Probably won't return but it was an experience

Room was dirty, bedding was wet, and staff was beyond rude.

Everything was on point except the breakfast. Because I'm a Fort Worth Texan and you don't get served pancakes without the bacon egg or sausage. That's True Texan.

I killed several roaches in my room. They were on the cabinets, by the refrigerator and on the floor. I had to buy spray because I was not able to leave the hotel.

There was ants in my room. The housekeeper came and sprayed but they didn’t clean them up. Also I ask for clean towels because they sprayed them. I didn’t receive any.

Stayed one night due to power outage at our house. We appreciated the nice room and good air conditioning.

There were roaches on the wall and our door wouldn’t shut all the way unless you force it. The phone did not work. There were multiple loiters around the property. Not enough towels and no wash cloths, and the thermostat was inaccurate.

We decided to book at this hotel because it was a newer built hotel. However, it does not seem like the hotel have been unkept because the carpet needed to be shampooed, the beds were not comfortable and we got twin sized pillows for our king sized bed. The water pressure was very weak. Also, the breakfast offered only a few items like cereal and a ton of carbs. The only thing we enjoyed about this hotel is the location because it was about 15 minutes away from China town. We don’t plan on coming back to this hotel.

I did not like there was no rear entry to hotel as thats the only parking available once front parking was full

Property smelled stuffy. Virtually everytime we centered the property it smelled of marijuana. Included in the photos hanging on the wall was a huge marijuana leave picture. Towels were dirty, no water pressure in the lavatory. In my son’s room the sink was clogged. Splashed urine on the floor on and around the toilet. Limited coffee and fresh fruit at breakfast. After a couple of nights we checked out early but couldn’t reach Expedia for comment. “High Volume of calls”. We asked about refund but hotel desk couldn’t assist till maybe later as she needed to ask her manager who wouldn’t be available till later. She was friendly and apologetic though.

For starters, there were ants in the room. The outlets on the left hand side of the bed did not work. Also the elevator was broken so I had to carry luggage from upstairs down. Oh and I wasn’t able to check in until an hour after check in time of 3.

Average at Best

Clean room, no coffee next to coffee pot, elevator out of service, limited breakfast hours. Short staffed, overall, it was a C- experience.

Was misinformed about my stay and not properly accommodated. However, the room was nice and I felt comfortable but I didn’t like the shower and the bathroom had a weird smell. Aside from that I had a good stay.

The room itself was nice, no problems there. The outside area was pretty sketchy with trespassing signs and “hide your belongings” signs for your car. There was a heavy marijuana smell from our neighboring room throughout the night. The price fits the bill.

Worst place I have stayed in the Houston area humidity too bad smell, you can hear everything from next room very dirty and broken carpets in several spaces, I don't recommened.

I have been staying there since 2021. It seems as though they are not cleaning the carpets, I was in room 304 , you could smell the carpet as you enter and you could see the soil on it.

For the price I would say it was a good place just didn’t like the surrounding area but it was close to enough stores. The inside was actually nice I would stay here again

1.The fire alarm kept beeping randomly throughout the day. The noise was loud and shocked me every time. 2. Missing extinguisher on the third floor. 3. Phone did not work when dialed to the front desk. 4. Shower room with one glass door, so the water kept splashing out. 5. Slow water pressure on sink. 6. No towels in the fitness room 7. Backdoor stayed open while the front door required a your room key. 8. Random carpet stains 9. Nonworking ice machine on the third floor.

The Cleaners did a good job. They come cleaning every day. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful.

Water lines very tiny in the sinks and shower, Wi-Fi very weak , keep disconnecting, air conditioner is the worst, they programmed the AC from inside to give lowest cooling, you call the operator several times to pick up, then they asked you to come down because No employees to go up to your room , very disappointed

I had to cancel this reservation because they refused my ESA dog. He is a legally documented service dog. I should be refunded as I could not stay there as such.

Poor housekeeping service

Stayed 6 nights, no housekeeping service for 3 nights and had to request at front desk for 2 of those nights!! Most of the housekeeping staff did not speak English so it was difficult to communicate with them. We had to ask for sets of towels at the front desk each time. The phone in the room did not work! Hotel overall rating: POOR

I liked the room was very nice , we did have to wait on the desk clerk because she was on her break. But the whole stay there was very nice, except for the pool , I was thinking of going swimming but the pool was very dirty . Other then that everything was very very nice .👍

First time staying at this property — 4 night stay. Staff wasn’t rude but also wasn’t welcoming. First two nights we stayed in a room that had ants on the bed. I got bit three times and got an allergic reaction, had an A/C that didn’t cool, upstairs neighbors that woke us up both nights throughout the night due to stomping, stained sheets, and the toilet seat was loose to the point where it came all the way off. After two nights we decided to voice our concerns and the front desk was dismissive and unapologetic. We got switched to another room on the fourth floor and it had ants all over the bathroom floor and on the bed and some stains on the sheets yet again. Every time I called the hotel it wouldn’t go through… very disappointing stay overall.

This hotel was great for an overnighter. Could use a fresh up. The room was very clean and a/c very cold. We slept well. If we would've had time, we probably wouldn't use the pool. Needs a fresh up too.

The server at the kitchen would not provide breakfast and said everything was finished until the front desk attendant came and ask her to bring out more food. They had very limited breakfast options. No shower curtains in the bathrooms so you showered and water was pooring out on the floor. They only had coffee, no hot water or tea

I started here for 3 days and my room wasn’t clean for 3 days after I asked the cleaning lady to clean my room. She said I will do it later. I come back to my room later in the evening my room still dirty

Our room was very first room on 1st floor, i thought, wow convenient! Nope, was noisy all night, you heard everything. Had to fix our own tv, everything was unplugged. Carpet was dirty, not vacuumed. Caulking, for whatever reason, was on toilet seat. It was dried but pinched your skin when you sat down. Curtains were dirty. I got to breakfast late but the cafeteria employee was sweet and surprised me with a bag breakfast. I thought that was thoughtful, thank you to her!

I did not feel safe at this facility. The walls were extremely thin, ceiling and floors cracking. You can hear people next to you even while they were taking a shower. Carpet was disgusting dirty wet with soda stains. People walking or running I thought someone was going to fall through the ceiling for walls. I couldn't breathe my asthma and lupus started flaring up. I checked myself I only stayed one night and stayed at the Holiday Inn accross the street.

I like that it was close to all places you might need for anything to get. Good location right by a main Street.

BEST WESTERN MINUS

This hotel was below standards of any Best Western Plus I've ever stayed. The room was nice and big. The walls had damage. There was no tissues in holder and there was not one wash rag. He parked it I think was the worst was I went to breakfast at 8:20am and it was completely dark and look closed up. I do believe Best Western policy is breakfast is from 6:30 to 9:30 Monday through Friday it's hot breakfast this place had neither at 8:20 in the morning. Front desk was nice.

Staff was nice but I was put on a floor I thought was non smoking but smelled like heavy weed. A lot of noise, neighbors arguing at 4am, weird man tried to get in my room (he just had the wrong room number). Some of the lights didn't work. I stayed at this same hotel a few years back and it was great, but this time the experience was less desirable.

The power just kept going out and the engineer figured out it was the socket where the refrigerator was plugged, so had to unplug it and it stop going out, this is my second time this has happened to me at this hotel on 2 different visit, please check your system to make sure its able to handle the power in your hotel. This Best Western meets all of my reasonable expectations. Clean, a good value for the $$$ spent, the staff is courteous, customer friendly and it is relatively safe. NO place in Harris County is completely safe. The voters voted and the folks that run Harris County have a little criminal in their DNA. Criminal Interests are backed quite well. This Best Western does the best it can in the environment that it HAS TO coexist in. It Is What It Is.
