Best Hotel in Parry Sound

New hotel opened in 2022, everything is in New like shape. Good location for shopping and food.

Bed frame was broken. No one around to fix it. Initial answer was sleep on the couch as there were no more rooms. Then switched us for a room eventually.

The rooms are fantastic. Seriously! Entire property is amazing. Staff incredible and great value

Due to weather and the highway shutdown we were not able to get the hotel. The staff was helpful and refunded our money.

Last minute stay during a snow storm. The gym had just the perfect amount of equipment. Room was spotless and staff were great

NO carpets and really clean!!!

New, clean facility, rooms clean and comfortable. Pool and exercise room were in excellent condition. Workout area temperature was set higher than my preference. I had 2 rooms reserved through expedia for family, upon check in I was told the rooms were on different floors, the staff was able to change the rooms so that they were close to each other on the same floor.

Great stay overall, breakfast was surprisingly quite good for being included. Really only feedback would be the landscaping around the hotel was pretty poor but didn’t hinder our stay.

Very clean and delicious breakfast. There is Warmart right in front so it is very good for shopping. But the only thing that is a bit disappointing is that there is no bathtub and the shower water is very weak.

It was a new built hotel. clean. the breakfast was OK but for the long weekend it was very crowded and short staffed.

What a nice, modern and well equipped hotel. The rooms are specious, clean and have whatever you need. I will definitely stay there if I visit Parry Sound again

My first Stay in Best Western Plus

I asked to make room after first day but no replacement of toilet tissue nor replacement of towels used . I did not think the shower was recleaned as I left the dirt there was still there the next day . However we only stayed at bedtime as we were out to the island everyday till after dinners . There were kids playing in the corridor 8:30 am in the morning ! Banging walls and noise as obviously a family had their room door wide open using the corridor as a play ground !! No sign saying : quiet and respect your neighbour!!! It is too late to get hot food at 9:30 even the sign said hot food breakfast till 10 am . The first day I heard thd last hot food out was 9:45 am . The second day the staff said the last hot food out was 9:30 am ! And at 9:35 the was out if two kinds of hot food . !!

Nothing special as views are poor - gas stations on one side and Walmart on the other side. Poor location for a well appointed hotel. Rather pricey for what they offer. Accessible room key card did not work thus had to use a regular key which is difficult for someone using crutches or other mobility aids. Not all staff are on the same page as to cost of additional services eg; EV charging station, bringing pet (don’t be fooled by the lack of information regarding additional fee for pet - very pricey!!)

Hotel itself was very nice, room was great, breakfast was good. However, pool was not maintained properly and had to be shut down within an hour of arrival. We specifically paid the extra to stay there so the kids had a pool to keep them happy and then couldn’t use it the whole time we were there. Made for very grumpy children. Not much for them to do there without the pool.

Love that the hotel rooms did not have carpet. The front lobby was clean and refreshing. Our room had a very large crack in the mirror and stain on the chair We also had to move rooms as the fire alarm was beeping periodically at 1:00 am.

I loved this hotel because it looks and feels brand new. The rooms are very spacious and have hard wood floors which are so much more hygienic than carpet. The washroom has a big shower stall and lots of lights. Everything was very clean. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Nice new hotel, comfortable bed, decent price. A couple little things that could have been better...poor bathroom layout, with a doorstop right in front of the sink, causing potential stubbed toes...also, a slightly noisy AC unit (and most hotels are that way, right?). But overall, a good stay.

We really enjoyed the location, the lovely facilities, including the pool and the exercise room. Thought it was great close to restaurants was a wonderful day. Highly recommended to others.
