A nice hotel.

The room smelt like mothballs - awful. The AC did not come on and it was barely cool in there it seems like it was controlled and just blowing a fan. The sofa in the room was seriously GROSS. Stained and looked like it had been soiled with who knows. I called and asked the front desk for an additional pillow but was told I'd have to come get it myself. Of course I was in my pj's and in bed and so I did not go. Definitely would NOT stay here. It's like a Motel 6

Front desk needs customer service training

Everything was fine except the front desk staff and nobody being available when we needed to check out.

Very comfortable stay all around. Breakfast and options were amazing.

This will be the my first and last stay in this hotel. I felt that there is a bed bug and I asked to change the room. The replacement room has some kind of smell which I could not tolerate. So, I ended up staying in the same room. Only good is thing is that this is a walking distance to Walmart.

Everything is fine

the area was pretty convenient. There’s fast food and restaurants all around you in walking distance ans a walmart thats also walking distance the room looked just like the pictures no complaints there. only thing i didnt like was how unsafe the area was. there has been a lot of car break ins but that was my only worry overall it was a good start

Great place quiet and nice

What a quality stay. Staff was great, room was clean... i got the king eith a pull out couch... two tvs?! Perfect.. i can watch sports, they can watch whatever they were watching. Came in for some baseball tourney that weekend and the last. Stayed here for the last weekend and it was 10x better than the HILTON GARDEN INN down the road. Best westerns breakfast was free and better than what i paid 15 bucks for at that the garden inn. All around better spot.

Beware - Sketchy Area

Hotel room was fine, and staff was nice when you could fine them. There was a bad smell in our original room, but they helped us get another one quickly. AC / Heater didn't work well on the trip though. We were in a really sketchy neighborhood. I picked this hotel thinking that it would be safer, but there were people camped out (sleeping over) near the pool area and what seemed to be a lot of weird things going on in the parking lot (a lot of cars would pull into the parking lot wait for someone to come out to it and then would leave while the person walked back somewhere). I wouldn't let my family out to use the pool or hot tub because of that. It is also in an inconvenient location right off the freeway.

Staff are often not available on the front desk for issues like key stops working and your late and no one is there to help.

Toilet ran constantly and then wouldn’t fill up tank. Had to manually work float in tank. No service of room. Had to keep asking for towels. Check out gave me another person receipt. Never looked at it till got home. Called to get receipt a week later. They couldn’t email or text. Girl said it was blank.

Old hotel. Keys don't work, ice machines don't work, the ac barely cools, the tv remote barely works. Super cheap crappy hotel

Regret that the toilet would not work and no note staff to fix it. However staff very kind and gave us a discount off our room. Coffe pot in room was also broken. The work out room was awesome!!!

Breakfast was good. Hot tub was not great. Room was excellent. The pool was a little cold.

The A/C went out in room at night. My daughter and her infant were miserable. When I brought it to the attention of desk staff upon check out, all she said was, “we’ll make note of it.”

Front desk staff was super nice and it was an easy check in. Unfortunately, one corner of our room smelled like pee and once we realized it was the room, we had already got the baby to sleep. The lady offered to swap us rooms but we didn’t want to wake up the baby. Breakfast looked good but we were heading out so just grabbed a couple bananas.

Excellent staff. Had 2 minor issues that were resolved immediately in a professional manner. They left me smiling.

We booked this property for one of our employees. While parked at this place for the night, the picked-up truck was broken into. The windows were broken, the headlights and reader lights were gone, and many other parts of the truck were stolen.

There were 2 separate car break-ins during my stay. Parking lot had dark spots and could cause unease at night. Otherwise, room was clean and spacious. Staff was attentive when needed. The only thing that I did not care for was the water did not get hot enough for the shower, it was lukewarm at best. Overall, a fair/decent stay...it wasn't exceptional but didn't stink either. The surrounding area has nearly all one needs for food and supplies.

Very helpful and accommodating staff! The place needs some maintenance (nice pool but jacuzzi doesn't work). All the room amenities were great! 2 tvs in our room, upgraded Keurig, room service menu and restaurant guiden and housekeeping give extra care. I'll stay here again when in San Antonio.

The man working the front desk the evening we arrived was rude and acted as if I was asking for something completely unreasonable when I asked him to give me access to the advertised guest laundry. He was unable to figure out how to open the door. When we returned to the room for the second night of our two night stay, we found that housekeeping had left a bag full of trash on our clean clothing that I had laid out on the counter top. Our room door did not lock properly. The front desk staff blew off our concerns about this. The room smelled badly of mold and the TV screen only worked sometimes. After all of that, they did not even offer coffee in the evening. I would rate this hotel zero stars if that were possible.

For the past few years I've chosen this hotel when I've needed to stay in the area. Very good quality for the price.

Unacceptable noise

Tiny square pillows. Decent breakfast. Bed was acceptable. But we had kids in room above us that didn’t quit jumping until after I finally went to sleep after midnight. I went to the front desk 4 timesand my husband went once. I finally asked that if they couldn’t quiet them to please move them. They said they talked to them. But nothing ever done. They started back in at 7am & didn’t stop until they checked out. TOTALLY unacceptable. Ill never stay w this hotel again

Nice and comfy

Overall stay was good. Only thing for me was room smelled like cigarettes. Very cold room and nice size. Would definitely return.

Clean hotel and decent continental breakfast, close to the hospital that my dad was at, plus clost to stores and eateries.

Friendliness of the staff

Everything was good except for one of the beds. The mattress squeaked all night that is was impossible to sleep, not because was uncomfortable but because it was noisy.

It was nice being in between all places, 15-30 mins drive to downtown, and schlitterbahn, it was in a good area, would stay again! Just wish breakfast was opened up a little later than just till 9:30

Great staff , only iss ue was the construction on the second floor as soon as you got off the elevator, other than that it was nice.

rooms were clean. Beds were great. Pull out sofa bed had nasty stains. Shower water wouldn’t warm up or get hot at all.

The staff was very nice, helpful, and welcoming! I appreciate that this place had jetted tubs too in room! However, for the shower- the drain was clogged and water was filling up, which was an inconvenience. Also the room’s air condition was not working well. I had it on the lowest setting- at 60 degrees, but the room did not cool down cold enough. It felt like it was in the 70’s.

Needs a more complete breakfast please.

The front desk check in gentleman was super fantastic. He allowed us to check in a little bit early due to having to change for a wedding. We had 2 rooms. In the first room one of the tv's was not working. In the second room the ac was not properly working as compared to the first room. Good price for one night.

Restful stay!

This place is great. Check in took about 3 mins. Lobby was clean, they had hot tea (several varieties) and coffee available. The room was clean, including the bathroom (yay! no random hair in the shower or floor, the complimentary soap smelled wonderful), mattress is firm but not stiff (it is still very comfortable). Noise level was zero, no kids running around and no traffic noise even though it's right at a huge highway intersection. There weren't random people walking around the property so it felt safe. I would stay here again.

Excellent hotel for a 4-day trip to San Antonio. The room was spacious, and the price was fair. It's a good hotel and I'd be happy to stay here again.

My only issue was that I had requested they check my TV and remotes, as the remotes didn't work, but no one ever showed up over the remaining 3 nights after I had informed the front desk. Otherwise everything else was fine.

Hotel was fine, not great, until I saw a very large cockroach in my room crawling on the desk in the middle of the night. Asked to switch rooms. Staff was able to get me another room but they acted like it was no big deal and a common occurence. Won't be staying again.

Parking is hard to get. Other then that it’s perfect.

Nice stay and close to everything

Everything was great about this stay (5 days) including the breakfast that had quite a selection of items. Eggs, sausage, waffles, potatoes, yogurt, fruit, pastries, etc. The only negative was that the breakfast room was too small to fit everyone on a weekend day. Those days, we took our food back to our room. Beds were comfy and they were very accomodating with our request of being on the 1st. floor since we had little kids and lots of "stuff" to bring in from the car. Lots of stores (Walmart, HEB) and restaurants close by.

It was the worst experience ever. We got to the hotel pretty late, after being in the car for over 6 hours. Our baby girl had a context the next morning, that being the reason for our trip. We got to the room and our key didn't work, went back and forth to the reception 4 times and they realized that the key reader was not working, and they would try to fix it the next morning, therefore every time we got out of the room, we had to wait for the receptionist to come and open the door for us. By the time we got settled in the room was 11:00 PM. The bathroom was disgusting. We had to leave very early that morning and got back to the hotel around 7:00 PM. The key reader was in the same stage and they decided to move us to a different room. We had an event the next day so I ironed our clothes and hung them and when we moved I took the hangers from one room to another, I was charged $50 for the hangers, and even though I've explained the situation, they didn't care, the receptionist, Mrs. Sheila was very rude and disrespectful. I also got charged for the room we moved out from for not returning the key , that never worked to begin with. I will never return to this hotel .

Wonderful clean budget friendly safe hotel. Lots of close by restaurants and conveniences. The suite was the perfect layout.

Nightmare Hotel

This was the worst stay we have ever had. The first room we were given was on the first floor. When we walked in, the room stunk so bad like mold and it was very hot in the room. We turned on the AC but it was only blowing fan air and it was reading 78. We called the front desk and he came to check it and told us to give more time and it would cool down. After 15 minutes, it was still not cooling. He proceeded to give us another room. When we got to that room, the door would not lock. Once again we called the front desk and he wasn’t able to get it to lock either so he gave us a 3rd room. This room still smelled but at least the AC worked and the door locked. So after an hour, we were finally able to “relax”. I was only given a 10% discount. Totally unacceptable. We traveled 3 hours to San Antonio for a funeral and then had to deal with these issues. For a Best Wester Plus, you should be embarrassed that you can’t have rooms fixed and clean for customers. 0 Stars! Don’t stay here!!

Windows very thin, so room was extremely humid the entire time. On the third floor, and could hear people talking in the parking lot. Homeless people wandering around. Staff, if around, we’re on their cell phones and standing around.

The lobby and main first floor areas are nice, but the the rooms need some major attention in regards to remodeling and repairs. Torn curtains, damaged light shades, drywall repair desperately needed in the bathroom, outdated windows and air conditioners. The pool area needs significant cleaning attention, we had to ask for towels every time we went and the garbage was overflowing. The lock to our door didn’t work properly so we were told just to use the interior lock. Other security concerns as well. We wouldn’t stay again and wouldn’t recommend.

Not so hot

Check in desk clerk was rude. Bed was showing its age and not real comfortable. No coffee until I was through with my luke warm breakfast. It was a disappointment for a Best Western property.

EMERGENCY EXIT DOOR IS LOCKED and the people at the front desk could not open it!! Half of the rooms electronics don't work, The bathtub fills up with water when you try to take a shower and then leaks all over the bathroom floor and runs out into the entryway!

Dated or just poorly taken care of. Breakfast was less than expected. Food dried out at only 9am. Staff was friendly, though lacked local and even state knowledge at it pertained to your industry. 7 out of 10 overall.

Broken elevator

Arrived late at hotel and was checking in to only find out the elevator was broken. With medical issues, I can not do stairs. They knew since shift change at 3pm about the issue and didn’t contact me. Said they didn’t have info from hotels.com. Had to get customer service involved to start a refund and rebook at another hotel. When making an inquiry at the new hotel, apparently if they wanted to help they could have contacted hotels.com for info.
