The room was big. Lots of space to accomdate my family only thing I didn't like was size of dining room and breakfast area. Small and was packed

This best western is in the bottommost places I’ve ever stayed. I would rather stay in an overnight lockup than stay here again.

Love this hotel close to everything and great breakfast

Everything was pretty normal. Expect cleanliness. I saw a bug and you can tell they're not as thorough as some hotels. Otherwise its convenient few minutes from downtown. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice. I'd definitely give it like a 3.5

The hotel was ok, can’t say it was super clean but it was average. Kind of an old building smell but the location is convenient. Beds were horrible, woke up with back pain. Staff was friendly and attentive.

It was a clean facility with comfortable rooms. Breakfast area was crowded; food was ok.

Check in was easy and the room was clean and quiet. The beds and pillows were so comfortable too!

Breakfast was always hot and plentiful. Great location to get to the local military hospital, the main reason for choosing this location. Overall very pleased.

This was the perfect stay for concert-going! Super close to the Frost Bank Center, clean, easy to check in and out, with multiple gas stations and coffee shops nearby. Highly recommend staying here if you're attending an event in this area!

Even though it was for one night we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hotel room was roomy and clean. The bed was so comfortable and ac was good. I will definitely be staying here next time I am in town!

It was a nice clean place to stay. I had no problems with any of the workers and the breakfast was very good. not far from downtown anything we did was 10-15 mins away so very convenient. Definitely will be staying here again soon:)

Someone broke into our truck parked in front of lobby.

The hotel was fine. The room was very clean and very spacious. Hotel staff was wonderful and provided excellent service. Very convenient Sonic and Bill Miller next door. I didn't like the area very much. There were a lot of homeless people wandering around and asking for money so the outside didn't seem very safe.

The area around the hotel isnt the best but was ok...booked the suit king room wich shows seperate space with couch and was given what shoes a regular king room when i went downstairs to talk to the receptionist he admittwd the pictures arent acurate and the one with the couch was a higher deluxe suit wich there is absolutely no advertisement for.since the hotel was booked he gave me 20.00 off wich was ok. Our ac wasnt cooling the room very well and you can hear everything going on outside

Our son that was at Sam Houston in the Navy. It was very close and convenient for us to visit him at the base.

Not safe

We did not stay here. Ended up leaving at 1:30am in the morning. When we drove up to the hotel random people were just lingering around, then we parked walked up to the hotel and immediately seen people drinking, smoking all kinds of stuff did not look safe. Walked in and people were in line complaining about rooms and there was one person at the front desk who was no help to the gentleman trying to get help.. We left

We have been staying at this hotel for the past five years because it’s close to our 96 year old grandmas house when we come to San Antonio to see her. Which we do often throughout the year. Over the years we noticed a decline in the service, cleanliness and amenities promised in the description of the hotel. This was the last straw we will not becoming back to stay. This was the second time we have come and the pool was GREEN… and our children were once again disappointed cause we couldn’t take them swimming as we promised. Our room wasn’t ready either, check in was 3pm, it was 4:45 and the suite we reserved was not ready. To top it off the sofa bed described being in the room of the suites and also which I requested was also not in the room. There was only ONE roll of toilet paper which we ran out of. And the WIFI did not work. I don’t know if they had a change in management or what but it’s summer and 100 degrees in San Antonio to not have a regular working pool in the summer in the hotel is horrible. Then they wouldn’t even give us a discount or our money back so we could go to another hotel. I would never recommmend this hotel to anyone.

Roaches

After driving from Michigan we checked in our first room, our TV didnt work. Then we get to our second room and there was a roach in the batnroom. After telling the desk she said there was nothing she can do. Nor did they have any spray. So at Midnight we couldn't find anything and I slept in my vehicle.

There pool was green nasty. The elevator made loud noises lose panels. Possibly they had bed bugs

My One Night Stay in San Antonio.

I arrived in San Antonio for a brief visit. But, because I had been caught in a massive rainstorm from Austin on the way to S.A., I decided to book a room in case there was rain the following day. I'm very familiar with this hotel. Over the years, I have booked this place numerous times. It's very convenient to I-35. There's a Bill Miller's BBQ across the street, two convenience stores and a firehouse close by. This section of town is called Government Hill, as the army base Fort Sam Houston is located nearby. I did have a weird moment. I was charging my phone. When it was charged, I tried to take the charger out of the desk outlet, it would not budge. The maintenance /security guy managed to get it out the next morning. Needless to say, I was very relieved. A big plus to this hotel is having a microwave and mini refrigerator in each room. Also, the front desk personnel were very pleasant.

Very conveniently located to I35. The variety of breakfast foods provided was very good. The 24 hr coffee bar was a surprise option that was wonderful.

The hotel is ok for the price you pay or a quick stay . The rooms are very out dated and you can hear everyone and everything no sound proof .

The property was fine and smelled clean. It is a bit outdated but is fine to stay if you plan on a night just for rest. The concierge was friendly and breakfast was ok.

Never came to clean the room, area a bit sketchy. Breakfast felt poor offering, little to no options.

Pleasant Stay

This hotel was very pleasant. There was a hold up when checking in. I was told they needed to see if the room was clean and which room. I believe I booked a 3rd floor but the front desk lady was quick into finding me a room and was very friendly. Only thing I didn’t like was shower was clogged and didn’t drain but called front desk to report it and maintenance man came to fix it so thank you for the speedy service. Also they were very accommodating with the request for towels so we were very satisfied with the service. Breakfast was good they served waffles, biscuits sausage and bacon. Good variety. There is limited parking but we found some in the back but our room was on the other side they do have a back door to enter as well. We didn’t go into pool but we did see it is small.Overall it was pretty good don’t be scared to book it because I checked reviews on google and some scared me but I’m glad I booked here!

My reservation was given to a different person I already have a reservation code and when I got to the front I was told my reservation was canceled without notify me, told me reservations through expedia are not under their control.... waited 2 hours for expedia representative to find alternative rooms..... and nothing was resolve. At the end nothing was resolve and the staff at the hotel was not helpful. Very horrible experience this hotel staff not recommended it.

The Lobby had a weird smell & the floors of my Hotel room was extremely dirty. My daughter’s feet got black at the bottom just from walking on the floor. Other than that, everything else was super clean, water pressure was phenomenal and the hallways were clean.

Awesome place to stay. It was a great price and still clean, updated and lots of breakfast selection. The staff are super friendly. They have a nice little outdoor patio to eat or relax if the weather is nice too.

The staff is friendly. The hotel is clean. The pool is a waste of existence. The breakfast is adequate. The neighborhood is rough. Definitely not an area where want to walk off the property once dark. You can definitely find better for the price point.

I recently stayed at [Hotel Name] for a one-night stopover and found it to be a nice and quiet retreat. The location was easy to find, which made our arrival stress-free. Breakfast was good, with a decent variety of options to start the day right. While we were unpacking, housekeeping came in to deliver towels, which was a bit inconvenient but not a huge deal since we did arrive 30 minutes early. Despite this, the overall experience was positive, and the hotel served its purpose for our brief stay.

Pool was being repainted and it wasn’t posted anywhere (stayed over memorial weekend) We wanted a hotel with a pool for the stay. We booked 3 nights and they let us cancel the second 2 because we wanted to move to a hotel with a pool. They made it easy enough to cancel the second two nights. Staff were friendly. Room and bathroom were ok. A little dated. Hairdryer was horrible, took forever to dry my short thin hair and left it frizzy. Location was good and convenient to everything. Close to downtown and super close to Fort Sam.

This property was a great value. It was conveniently located to downtown and highway. It was very clean. My only issue was the mattress was too soft in the middle and pillows were very hard. Breakfast was fine.
