Shower was shockingly bad.
Closer to the airport than Rome.
Quiet neighbourhood, outside of the city center. Perfect for a one night stay prior to leaving Italy.
Staff was great. I was staying under a group reservation and made one for an extra day, they kept me in the same room and I didn't have to move my luggage.
Customer service horrible , they never explain about hotel. Check out horrible too , where was breakfast? No communication!
Very nice staff and gave is suggestions on restaurants to eat in the neighbourhood
You get what you pay for!
Overall a nice place and location close to airport. Problem was A/C stopped working in the middle of night and was uncomfortable. Other staying mentioned they had similar problems repeatedly.
It was good
Overall a good experience.
Not okay for the price
Too far
I have seen reviews that are not correct. You can use a bus or a train to get around everywhere you want. (Just don't rent a car from Sixt [They will rip you off]). I used the 70 bus to the train station and in an hour you are at the airport, get the 24 or 48 hour pass that covers but the bus and train. If you still have to have a car, they have gated parking for you. The staff speaks English, some better than others. Housekeeping is the best, they do an excellent job, its shows that they care. The buffet wasn't for me, but it did have unlimited coffee, various pastries that would cost you way more than if you go down the street. The rooms have mini splits so you can control the room temperature hot or cold.
Everyone was great!!
FRAUD ALERT - Hotel is not upscale
FRAUD ALERT - The advertisement for the Best Western Triangoli is inaccurate and misleading. This hotel is not an upscale hotel. It offers no amenities consistent with what are advertised on Hotel.com and there is no bathtub consistent with the photos displayed. I suffered undue hardship, duress and additional expenses that ruined my last night on my Rome Italy vacation. Please remove this hotel offering as an upscale hotel or remove it completely.
Rome 10 minutes from the airport
Arrived late with no problem. With many hotels phasing out their breakfast, thing was good with a nice variety.
Room was just for a few hours was as described
Good Airport Location
A nice hotel located 20 minutes from FCO Airport. The complimentary breakfast was good and included a mixture of both hot and cold food items.
We change two rooms. the heating did not work in any of them. we got more blankets.
Staff was great. But walking through the area I saw some disturbing graffiti messages on the walls. That was the lowest point of my of my trip.
Hotel ; Not IN Rome! This Hotel is in Colombo ( 30km) from central Rome by bus and subway! Not convenient ! I seriously do not recommend staying here unless you have a car! Also it’s 50 euros to to nearby airport ( one way) !!! Do not bring your children here ! This is a place where you come to do your business work and be alone! Not staying here again! 👎👎👎👎👎
Too bad it's just 1 night! The location was chosen for the convenience of the location and it was: close to the Airport. I drove from La Spezia to the hotel and it was very easy to find. My room was at the 5th floor; I had a balcony which was a very nice surprise and I enjoyed a very nice sunset over the roman countryside. Unfortunately the restaurant inside the hotel was closed but the receptionist refer me to a walking-distance restaurant and I'm glad she did. The hotel room was clean. I had a great stay too bad it was too short.
Excellent value for the price.
Nice hotel. Good price. Very clean.
The staff was friendly, clean and spacious rooms
We enjoyed our brief two day stay here. The staff were polite and helpful
It’s a dump but it’s close to the airport. Area is a little seedy. Police car always parked out front. Restaurant was not open.
Nice hotel in an nice area. Shame the restaurant was closed
Nearby supermarket, restaurants Bars. Staff are super friendly. Rooms exceed expectations relevant to price point.
It was nice to have a restaurant on site. There isn't much to walk to so it was convenient to have it there for us, open until 22:00. The front desk woman was very friendly.
Excellent and helpful staff, room was nice. Would be nice if usb ports were provided in the room, but there was one on the tv that was usable.
Room was not great. Bed sucked. Bathroom was not good. Better to stay in the city center
This property is ok for a quick one night stay but nothing else it’s 30-35 minutes away from the City Center, Bus is the 070 and 709 stops closest to the hotel. Bus stops at last stop at the train station to catch trains to Termini. But you do have to walk on very little or No sidewalks. Heavy reckless traffic. Don’t expect anyone to help. Staff are just there minimum assistance And most of all. Breakfast says available not Included so if you or anyone in your room eats. It’s €8.00 per person being charged daily to your Check out Bill also. City taxes. Being charged per person at Check out. I stayed 2 nights 4 people. Paid for booking in full on Expedia. And still my check out fees with these charges came to €104.00. So beware of this.... Not happy at All and Would Not Recommend to anyone. I know
The property was not as close to the airport as it seemed in the description. The taxi cost to the airport was almost as much as it was from downtown to the hotel. That was exactly what we were trying to avoid. The room was supposed to include a king size bed. The bed was smaller than a queen size bed, and the room was barely big enough to walk around the bed. Extremely disappointing! Staff at the hotel were very nice. Food was reasonable, but not great.
It exceeded my expectations.
Nice hotel in shady neighborhood
The hotel was pretty nice and quiet. Close to the airport, but in a pretty shady airport. Thankfully they have gated underground parking.
Best Western
Holiday. Last minute change of plans kn arrival. Very happy.
Hotel was very good all around. No problems were encountered...
The place was nice and clean the staff was very nice and helpful, but the bed was hard
Overnight stay to connect at airport. A little bit out of the way but good accomodations
It was located far enough out of time to not have to deal with traffic but close enough it didn’t take forever to go sight seeing!
No problem Good accommodation Good breakfast. Clean room.
Very basic hotel- 25 mins from airport and 10 minutes from the beach. Food is basic.
Nice location , сlose to airport , nice and clean rooms , welcoming staff
It was a great quick stay. Close to some good restaurants and quiet
The hotel itself is ok: Comfortable, clean, courteous staff. If you are interested in visiting the Ostia Antica archaeological site, this is not the ideal location to stay. Not clise to the site snd no other advantages duch as rearaurabts, shops and other services. Better to stay in Ostia Antica or in Lido Ostia.
Great hotel, close to good restaurants , however, it is not close to the airport , 30km drive on highways, as the road which would make it a 11 km drive is unavailable.
overall convenient to stay overnight when flying out from Rome. There is a nice large mall near by (less than 15 min by car) where you can do some shopping or eating if you have the time. The staff in the front desk can give you directions
Good, clean, comfortable & efficiently run hotel
This was our 2nd stay here.... Good, clean, comfortable & efficiently run hotel ...& very convenient to the location of the people we were visiting.
So so
The female (day shift) front desk clerk was rude and refused to help us with our questions. However the male assistant and the lady who checked us in were wonderful. I wish I got their names.
It was very good for a one night stay before flying out of Rome.
Standard Italian 3-star, but slightly American
Average Best Western, a little more American-style than your typical 3-star Italian. The breakfast buffet was OK. For some reason, MANY local police cars park there and the cops are loud and boisterous in the restaurant, both at breakfast and at dinner. We guess they have a contract with the hotel. Unlike most of the other hotels we stayed at, there was no "pride of ownership" in the staff; in the restaurant at dinner, the servers were more interested in each other than in the guests. Parking was easy, but there weren't many spaces; of course, most guests seem to be on the way to the airport; but I imagine they might run short of parking space at times. The airport is close, if you are a bird; half an hour if you drive (but much less if you are Italian). We booked well in advance, but are more experienced travelers now, and won't stay here again (unless desperate). And definitely not get dinner; there are very good restaurants nearby, even in walking distance.
Met our needs, Service was very good
This hotel met our needs very well. We were looking for an overnight not too far from the airport, but not next door either. Price was very good, services personnel were very helpful and friendly. The hotel and rooms were tidy and the hotel felt very secure. The free parking in a gated garage was a big plus.
Handy for the airport
A good location not too far from Fiumicino airport, about a 25 minute drive. Excellent comfy bed, great shower with plenty of hot water. Large screen TV with 2 English channels (which was greatly appreciated). The buffet breakfast is good value with a good variety. Well done. A nice quiet location with restaurants nearby. Secure underground parking. A good place to stay before going to the airport.
The hotel was clean and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. We loved that it was away from so many tourists. We got a real experience of the locals.
Horrible service at reception. No explanation about keys or lights which functioned with keycard. Guests left to figure things out for themselves. Rude receptionist.
What's Not To Like?
We enjoyed all aspects of this 4 star hotel. After staying in 3 stars hotels for the previous month, this Best Western was great. There was even a TV station showing an English language movie both nights of our stay. Cleanliness, towels, space, comfortable bed, a hot pot with coffee and tea, great breakfast buffet, easy car parking, and very cheerful staff member who checked us in were the best.
Close to the airport for a late night flight.
The hotel is clean and the staff is very professional and courteous. The only item of concern is the location of the hotel. It didn't seem like the safest of areas. But then again we walked a block,at night, to a very good restaurant that was recommended by a staff member.
excellent hotel. very easy to get to a train station and plenty of amenities in the local area
close to airport, after driving for over 3 hours we wanted a hotel close to airport without going into Rome.about 15 minute drive to beaches, town was dead in late september.we did find a good restaurant.
Was ok. Nothing spectacular. The only English channel on the tv in the loungeroom had no sound and when we told the front desk about it they offered no solution.
Nice clean hotel.
No complaints. Room was nice.
Worth the price
This hotel is 15 km away from both airport and city. It takes around 15 minutes to get a taxi. Uber always shows no car available around this area. But that works since ordering taxi from hotel staff is way cheaper than uber. The hotel is walking distance to few restaurant. Ample of parking space.
Good
Please don't call this near the airport, it was 30 mins away
Decent hotel but terrible location
The hotel was clean and staff was nice. Nothing fancy. However, we booked this hotel because Expedia identified it as a hotel close to the airport. When we arrived at the train station we quickly learned that this was not the case. We could not find a taxi that was willing to drive us there. After about 30 minutes they located a "local" taxi driver that agreed to take us for 70 euros. As it turns out it took us 50 minutes from the train station to the hotel. The location of this hotel was misleading. So we ended up spending an additional 140 euros on taxis when our goal was to avoid a drive from central Rome. I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for something close to the airport. I think Expedia should consider a more accurate description of the hotel location. The hotel staff indicated that we were not the only tourist that had booked it for the same reason only to be hugely disappointed.
This Hotel is not near the Airport
I reserved a room in this hotel for last night of stay in Rome since Expedia listed it as being near the Airport (6.5 miles) from which I was to fly out the next morning. It turned out that this hotel is in fact about 17 miles from the Airport in a somewhat residential neighborhood. It took me a while to get to the airport and it cost me much more to get from city center to this hotel and then to airport the next day.
Great place to stay for the money.
It's a great hotel, but in not so great area. The area looked kinda dirty.
Hotel was nice - actually had free parking near by - walking to shopping and eating area in neighbourhood wasn't nice (very dirty and no care taken in cutting grass/cleaning up)
We stayed briefly to catch a flight the next day from FCO. It was convenient, but we needed a GPS to navigate the roads. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent. The staff at the front desk could have been friendlier.
Room switch and price increase
We had reserved and paid for a larger deluxe size room but when we arrived they had changed it to a small single. They ended up throwing a mattress on the floor of the small room to accommodate and raised the price by 40%!
Nice hotel close to FCO
We picked this hotel based on a need to get to FCO for a morning flight. It met all of our needs. Excellent hotel staff.
Comfortable
Close to airport
Only stayed one night, room was clean, hotel staff were helpful.
Beware: False Advertising
The hotel itself was good and clean, the rooms were larger than most hotels in Europe and the staff was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was adequate. However, I cannot give it a perfect rating because this hotel advertises itself as an "airport" hotel when in fact, it is not. It is at least ten miles from the Rome airport in a sketchy area and ended up costing 45 Euros in taxi fare each way. Had we known this, we would have booked a hotel in the city and taken the train. It would have been less expensive. Also, this hotel does NOT have an airport shuttle as advertised. What they mean by this is that they can arrange for a taxi to pick you up and take you to the airport. But keep in mind that this will end up costing an additional 90 to 100 euros in taxi fare alone getting to and from the hotel. This was very misleading and we would not have booked the room if we had known this in advance.
There was a nice hotel restaurant with several more within 3 min walking. There was a super market about 500 meters down the road. It took about 40 to drive to the middle of the city. Lot of streets parking available. The hotel also has gated parking under the hotel for 5 euro per day.
the hotel was pleasant, clean, comfortable. I wish it had lunch as well not only dinner. the lady at the reception by the name Valentina was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant it was a pleasure to meet her, especially after having to deal with Veronica. the lady at the reception by the name Veronica should not be in the position to deal with people, i had to call her 5 times from the cruiseship in order to get advice.
This was our last hotel before flying home. it was very clean, hotel staff was helpful. the only complaint I would have is that our shower was too hot and could not be regulated (on the rain shower head only) so we had to use the hand-held shower. Would stay here again - good rate, convenient to airport.
Too far from Rome's Attractions !
Good and comfortable room with nice bathroom. Breakfast was free & excellent and plentiful. Wifi was free & good. Male front desk person at our time of check in on 9.3.15 at 11:55 pm was not that friendly. Hotel is significantly far from airport and central Rome area where all the attractions are. It costs €80 by taxi & €45 by minivan from Rome airport. It took 45 min from Rome colluseum to hotel at non rush hours. If you add this traveling cost into the hotel cost of €98+tax+fees then this hotel was over priced and not recommended. Especially, if you are in Rome to see the central city attractions. Best to get hotel in central Rome for little higher price.
FCO
Really quite area Snack bar across the street ... Really good cappuccino and fresh croissants Great hotel overhaul
Nice hotel -- but NOT near airport
I booked this hotel as I was going to be in Rome just for one night -- I flew in from Sicily and then was flying out to the US the next morning. Based on the map of the hotel's location - I was under the impression that it was near the hotel. It wasn't. It was a 45 minute taxi ride both ways - costing 48-58 Euro each way. The hotel is perfectly fine -- a standard hotel. I found that the overnight front desk agent was not pleasant -- it felt as if I was inconveniencing him by wanting to check in/ask questions, but the next morning, the front desk agent was extremely nice and helpful. Overall, nice hotel.
Overnight stay before return flight home.
Very new sparkling clean hotel in urban Rome, lovely helpful reception, big breakfast, small room but every thing you need + efficient quiet air con balcony with table and chairs + if you ask, kettle and tea & coffee making equip free, essential for British travellers. Food available near the hotel. But leave plenty of time to get to Fiumicino airport for a morning flight. Although only 17km. took us 1hr 45mins.
Residence warning!
Watch out if you book online, you may end up in the residence which is not quiet the same as a Hotel!!
Very clean. Breakfast not fantastic, very basic.
Hotel was nice and clean. Some of the staff wee not as helpful as others. It is quite a journey into Rome. It was a bus and metro trip. The last bus back was 8pm so needed to leave Rome around 6:30 to get the last bus.
3 star Best Western caters to tour group mainly.
We expected better from Four star hotel such as Best Western. After night 1, room key automatically expired leaving the safety deposit box open in day time while we were on excursion in Rome. We had hung the "Do not disturb sign" while out, only to see facility people enter to drop off iron/ironing board. Coffee/tea facility doesn't exist and limited in supply for four star.
Not far from the beach, however far from centre
Hotel has accesible public transport literally infront of the hotel which will take you to the metro which u will need to get to centre.
A great place to stay.
The hotel is situated in a convenient location for the bus service to the Metro station to get into central Rome. I found the staff friendly and helpful. The standard of cleanliness is very high with the room always smelling clean. The breakfast was good quality with plenty of selection of food and drinks. We tried out the resutarant in the hotel for dinner and found the food was a reasonable price and again good quality. The local area is just a normal residential area but feels safe with a very good resutarant and shops close by. I found Rome a wonderful city to visit although found that there are few signposts which made getting around a bit tricky, However people are usually friendly and approachable and are happy to help tourists out. Beware of the guys dressed as Roman centurions around one tried to rip us off for 20 Euros just for having his photo taken with us. Overall the trip was a wonderful experience and would certainly recommend Rome as a city well worth visiting and Best Western Hotel Triangoli an excellent place to stay
Good value hotel
The staff were friendly and helpful. The receptionist gave us a map of Rome and showed us the key areas. We were also given bus time tables, umbrellas and directions to the bus stops. The hotel is clean and modern and to the right there is a super Itslian restaurant where the locals eat. The bus stop is by the hotel and the 070 bus from Rome centre stops there. You can email the hotel and they will send a shuttle to the airport to pick you up and it costs 45 euros, a fair price. The hotel restaurant is good and the pasta and salads are lovely. Breakfast is good - great coffee, cereal, meats, cakes. The bus ride from Rome takes 30 minutes and the hotel is a 20 minute from Ostia beach, which is fantastic- bright blue sea, loungers and parasols, warm sand. We wished we had stayed longer and spent a few days at the beach.
As expected
Our stay was expected from best western 4 star hotel and it was very good
Get your food
Restaurant should open late or there should be room service open until late knight..
Clean and tidy with friendly, polite helpful staff
The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff where all very polite, friendly and helpful. The staff all spoke English. The breakfast choice was good and varied from day to day.
Nice hotel very clean and close to the airport
Very good experience . The room was very clean and the facility was close to the airport and even downtown Rome we drove a car so everything help
48 euro trip to airport, not in airport area
This hotel is listed and marketed as an airport area hotel when in fact it is in the city of Rome and the airport is in another city which charges an extremely high tariff for traveling into Rome and vise versa. 48 euro trip each way which is totally ridiculous. Spend the extra few euro more to stay at the airport Hilton and would have been cheaper and probably more comfortable. Air-conditioner did not work in the room as I found in many hotels in Italy even though they advertise air-conditioner. Just a bad and frustrating experience and stay. Disappointed big time.
Nice hotel
Very nice hotel, good location if you have a car. Close to beach, not far from Rome... Good breakfast
Far from airport
This hotel is not very close to the airport. We purposely booked this to stay one night as we had an early AM flight. It took about 25-30 minutes to get to airport. The beds were not comfortable and it's a poor location.
Stay away from this called hotel
In a very DANGEROUS zone, this is not a hotel, they have a front desk and you have to walk on the street, cross a DARK park to go to you room, they claim they have internet, but only at the lobby! (Cross again the park)They also claim they can help you with transportation coming and going from the airport. But that is not true, the only way to get here is by taxi, and to get out from there is also by taxi, but only their "friend's" taxis. So they along with the taxi drivers are THIEVES. stay away from here. This is NOT a HOTEL.
OK but don't leave early
Surprised no sustenance was available to early departures for early flights out of Rome. There was no breakfast, not even coffee or rolls.
Good hotel near the beach.
Roomy hotel - a little outdated but clean and friendly.
Street noise a bit bothersome. Individual service varied from outstanding to arrogant. Reasonably close to airport and Ostia Antica. Weak H2O pressure. Very good breakfast buffet.
coffee maker
it would have been nice if room came with a coffee maker or kettle. However, when asked the staff supplied on with cups etc on a try to the door. Well done. Will stay again later in the week when we leave from FCO
Nice hotel and room.
Stayed only for one night . Were surprised of the quality of the room for the price.

Our stay was great, like always.
