At exactky 11am a knock on the door to ask when i was leaving. I was just packed and ready to go. Seemed very pushy to me.

Great stay in Augsburg

Great size rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast is delicious.

The hotel and room are nice, and located across the street from the shopping area. The bed was a bit too hard for my wife, but no problem for me. Parking is very limited, but a 24 hour parking garage is near by at a lesser rate than the hotel.

Located nearby city center

My room was clean and comfortable, hotel is nearby the city center. No access from park-garage to the hotel. I was contended with my stay.

The hotel was conveniently located and the staff was pleasant. It looked like the building had been recently redecorated. However, the bathroom was extremely small.

The breakfast pictures that are shown in the website significantly differ to what was offered. The property does not have its own parking so one has to pay to pay for a garage.

Discreto soggiorno

Soggiorno discreto ad Augsburg, come è discreta anche la struttura...... Devo segnalare un bagno molto molto piccolo dove è difficile persino muoversi da soli..... Buona la pulizia, rapporto con i dipendenti un po' anonimo, mi hanno fatto parcheggiare l'auto nel parcheggio adiacente senza avvisarmi che c'erano dei posti disponibili davanti all'albergo. Tutto sommato comunque un discreto soggiorno. Ottima la localizzazione

Great location in the center of Augsburg. We were able to walk everywhere we needed easily. Hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful: one lady on staff gave us a fantastic recommendation for a traditional Bavarian restaurant a stone's throw from the hotel! Our room was spacious and had everything we needed.

Lovely hotel.

A lovely hotel and spacious, comfortable room. Easy walking distance to the old town, shopping area and the cathedral. Obliging and helpful staff. The only drawback was not having a parking area so we had to use the car park next door and at 20€ per day it was not cheap. Other than that this was an excellent experience and the hotel itself is value for money.

Spacious room, very clean, comfortable. Tea and coffee in room. Air-conditioning. Property right in the center, just a few steps from the main square. Plenty of shopping, supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops nearby.

City near Munich.....Lower price but great deal

I picked this location as it is only a short ride outside of Munich. The hotel felt very American- with its huge size room (compared to most European Hotels) I did not purchase the breakfast as I wanted to enjoy the local goods of a smaller Germany city. The location was good and it had air-conditioning - which is not as common in Europe. If you don't mind a 15 minute walk to the train station (to ride to Munich) this is a great deal.

The room was specious in regard with the room in Füssen!!! It was more like a suite with a living room area. AC was there for the hot weather!! Many wall outlets to charge your devices.

One night stop over

Location and cost.

Room was nice exactly what we needed. Had lots of space, comfy bed and good bathroom. Breakfast was very busy but food was nice. There was no other meals or food available in the hotel however there was nice restaurants nearby

Christian checked us in to the hotel. What a friendly, professional gentleman. A very nice experience.

The hotel is well located in the center of town. It's rooms are spacious and clean. Comes with a nice Nespresso coffee machine, but no Mini-Bar / fridge. Breakfast was fine. Apart from a bit dated interior the hotel has 3 parking places. At night parking is free on the street, but it is a challenge to find a spot. Used the parking around the corner 💸.

The breakfast buffet was top notch, really well done, great selection, and on the spot service. One reason we picked the hotel was it advertised AC and we knew it would be a hot weekend. Unfortunately, the tiny over the door unit was a disappointment. But I would still give the hotel 5 stars, staff, amenities, and location were excellent

Close to city centre

Easy, short walk into the centre of town, Dom, museums, etc. Room clean and spacious, although a bit dated. Parking up the road was reasonably priced, although certainly not cheap.

I liked Augusta

Close to the city and quiet. Rooms are spacious. Only b-moll: there is only one coffee machine during breakfast time. So queues are long with people waiting to get their brew. Otherwise the breakfast is simple compared with other simerlarly priced places.

The hotel was clean and breakfast was good. I would not stay in this hotel in the summer as the room was extremely hot and without AC. The temperature in the room in the evening was 34 deg cent, I asked for help at reception but was advised that there was a fan in the room, which there was but at this temperature it just pushed the hot air around the room. Completely uncomfortable experience. I would not book here again.

There was no sauna or gym as indicated in the facilities. They converted them to rooms over a year ago. The check in staff wasn’t always helpful

I wish I had been told that they were under renovation. Location and breakfast were both great

Very Good Place to Stay

We stayed at this hotel while visiting the Christmas market in Eldersburg. It was a perfect location. Walking distance to the market. Everything was close by. The only comment I would make would be they did not have any ice in the hotel. Maybe common for Germany. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was good.

The suites have lots of space at a competitive rate. The suites are on the 6th Floor. The lift only goes to the 5th floor. Not so convenient if you have heavy suitcases.

A night in Augsburg

Restaurants not readily available in the area. Self parking was a long walk to the public garage.

Stayed at the hotel for one night for the beer fest (plarrer). For this purpose the hotel was in the perfect location, walking distance to the fest. Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of options. Room was ok, no AC, but we had 2 fans. The mattress was thin and way too hard for me.

Room was clean and affordable at the meddle of town.

This is not hotel and should not be listed. I wish to make claim against ebook era for misrepresenting this as hote. Locked not open, no staff, no reception, dirty around entrance door. I did not stay but was followed on footpath by drunk owner and arguing that it is not an hotel. I took taxi to Holyday Inn. Please consider this as basis of claim for return of money and for Euro 200 expenses. I am long time registered with ebookers - never had this experience before

Too hot

Good comfortable room except for the room bring unbearably hot. We arrived around 5pm and couldn't bear being in the room until we could leave the windows open when the sun went down and the sun was off the outside wall around 9pm. This hotel needs to put shutters on the windows to ensure the room doesn't heat up so much. They also had bedding with thick duvets. Spoiled the experience for us. Breakfast basic.

Convenient hotel in Augsburg

Hotel Augusta staff were very polite and helpful. The room was fine in cleanliness and comfort, although the wfi was weak and inconsistent. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Rathaus. Included breakfast was great. Danke!

Nice Hotel in a perfect location

Really nice hotel. Massive room with a great price. Didn't wake up early enough to try the breakfast so can't comment. Staff were really friendly.

Everything was excellent, the only minor complaint was th carpeting in the room seemed outdated. Staff and food was great.

This large hotel needs to upgrade the look of its lobby/registration area. It gives a bad first impression and does an injustice to an otherwise higher-quality hotel. Our room had very dark shag carpeting but it was otherwise spacious and comfortable. Loud construction for a huge project across the street may wake some guests up earlier in the morning than they had planned. The breakfast buffet (included with the room) was wonderful. It is located in a lovely dining room on the second floor, and had great service staffing. Parking is a bit of a problem, as the hotel is not directly connected to the public parking garage that is up the street and down another corridor. Few fine-dining options nearby, but the city's central plaza area is a short walk away.

Spacious and comfortable

The family room we booked was extremely spacious. And the beds were actual double beds, not just two single beds pushed together, which for me is a big convenience. One of the better non-chain hotels I've stayed at in Europe, in terms of comfort.

location location location

Nice hotel in a perfect location. Parking garage right next to the hotel.. Staff were friendly. Room was fine-nothing fancy but clean and quite large. Breakfast was okay but nothing special. But for the price it was worth it. we had tickets to the soccer game and it was a ten minute walk through the pedestrian zone to the tram taking us directly to the stadium. All things considered we would stay here again.

Lovely old hotel

We were driving the Romantic Road not knowing where we would be each evening so this was a last minute booking. I thought the GPS was kidding me when it indicated the narrow alley that I had to drive through. Anyway, it was right and we arrived at our delightful accommodation. It also had off-street parking and very helpful staff. The room was delightful and the breakfast was good.

Great location. Very large room with windows down one side. Lots of service available but would have liked a fridge in the room, only ice we could get was in a glass as restaurant was closed when we got back. Great breakfasts too. Car park cheapest around the corner.

Great hotel for City Centre and FC Augsburg access

Stayed at the hotel as we were watching Liverpool play Augsburg. Great place to stay with easy access to the stadium which is a short tram ride away. Definitely worth staying in this area for easy access. Very clean and comfortable hotel with pleasant staff and excellent breakfast facilities.

Great family hotel near the town square

We booked this hotel for a one night stay to be within walking distance of the Christkindelmarket. The town square is across the street and down a block or two--very, very close. The reception was wonderful--parking overnight only 10Euro! Very informative check-in and when we needed an extra pillow the staff was quick to bring it to our room. We booked a family room with two large double beds, a sitting area and a teeny tiny bathroom. The bathroom was our only complaint. Breakfast was amazing--highly recommend the fresh "salad" bar.

Really enjoyed our stay in Augsburg at the Augusta Hotel. Bathroom seemed recently remodeled and done nicely, although the shower is a bit small. Great location for walking anywhere. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Not sure if it is a Euro thing, but the towels could be larger and thicker.

The hotel is older so Not very updated. Breakfast was included and was fantastic.

Arrived by motorcycle as touring Germany on bike with my wife. Friendly receptionist showed me where to park free overnight right outside hotel. Room clean and comfortable with pillows that almost did the job (Germans must visit UK to see what a proper pillow looks like). Best breakfast of our trip so far in Germany. Good location near centre. A pleasant stay however Augsburg a little dull.

Retro and nice

Very convenient an retro hotel. Not much parking space but there is a public parking around.

Nice little hotel but sooo hot

If this hotel had a/c our stay would have been much more comfortable but we nearly roasted in our room. The breakfast was very good.

Augsburg stay

Great Hotel in downtown Augsburg. Went for a walk around downtown after arrival and had lunch nearby. The room was large and airy, staff were friendly, breakfast was great, and parking was nearby and safe. Nothing bad to say about this hotel, lots of good things though, we enjoyed our stay.

Nice place!

The rooms are adequate, nothing opulent, but not horrible either. They have bacon and eggs for breakfast, which is a rarity in Europe. The location couldn't be better (as long as waking up to church bells doesn't bother you too much).

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and it was super to have a comfy settee to sit on. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean, smart and modern.

A stone's throw from Augsburg's cultural sights

5-9 October 2014 The main advantage is the proximity to the centre of town as well as the parking facility. Though small, the room was comfortable enough. The bathroom had a modern walk-in shower. The breakfast was decent but I'd recommend the coffee from the coffee machine rather than the coffee that is served.

Best hotel of the 2 week trip to Europe. Clean, spacious, and modern. Desk attendants very helpful. A bet of a walk from the train station.

Good hotel

Well located hotel with friendly service, nice breakfast and all basic things you would need during your trip. Parking is paid, but customer service does not try to enforce it and recommend parking on the street for free (in our case representative even walked with us outside to help finding the right spot on the street)
