I always enjoy staying at The Beloved. I am a member to the Excellence Hotels. The only think that I do not enjoy is there is never any upgrades when we get there. I have been going to all their hotels for the passed 15 years.

Beautiful property and excellent staff and service. Since it is a very small resort, we found the dining options somewhat limited.

Everything about the property was clean and well maintained. The food was awesome, but all of the staff was hands down phenomenal! Made is feel like kings and queens!

This is our second time at Beloved. We really like this resort, it is not too big, excellent food and terrific staff! Our only complaint is that we would have liked the pool to not be so cold, and the hot tub was luke-warm at best. Otherwise, very enjoyable stay at Beloved!

We stayed for four nights, and it was an incredible all-inclusive experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the food at all the restaurants was fantastic. Our favorite was the breakfast at the French cuisine restaurant. The spa was refreshing and offered a truly unique experience. The beach also offered a variety of water activities, including kayaking and parasailing, which added to the fun.

Excellent experience! Staff goes above and beyond! Special mention to Paola (reception) and Cristian Javier who made our experience even more special! Would surely return! This is the best vacation we ever had! Food is also good!

Boutique hotel. Limited entertainment

The staff are friendly and well intentioned and the manager (Christian) is proactive and responsive, but the redeeming qualities of the resort end there. -while friendly, staff had zero follow through (orders and requests were forgetten regularly) -we had an in room jacuzzi that we were unable to use because of the visible dirt/sediments on the tub -new room we were transfered to had brown water pouring out of the spouts (we had given up using the jacuzzi at this point even though it was a paid for amenity--it wasn't worth the headache of switching rooms again) -got food poisoning from breakfast at El Mar (two full vacation days wasted recovering from this). -drinks were watered down and VERY sweet -limited dining options (app that the resort used included wrong info about restaurant hours) -service in general was mindnumbingly slow (if you were not at a restaurant lined up when they open, you will need to wait an hour to be seated) -same with beach and pools chairs, we had to be up before 8am every morning to ensure we had a spot for the day -pools were freezing and jaccuzis were luke warm I find it hard to believe a resort of this size would have the ratings it has given the inconsistency of service we've received. Maybe we were unlucky and caught them on a bad week, but at the end of the day, when you're spending time and money on a vacation, I don't know that I'd leave things up to chance.

This was a disappointing stay. I start with good aspects: - I have to say the property is beautiful, it’s small but very well configured. - We enjoyed the free activities like Guacamole and Margarita classes. Chef Sergio was great. Also, Marisol is very warm and entertaining. We also very much liked our paid Mexican Spirit class with Lorenzo. - The staff has great customer service. We had issue with our room they have done whatever they could to resolve the issue and when it did not work, they moved us to another room. Their attention to each guest is very sweet and heart warming and it makes me sad to say that we will not return to this resort. The concerns: - The buildings are old. Everything looks very out dated from the room configuration to furnitures. The dark showers are so not in fashion anymore. They all had big rain shower installed but they are so big that almost cover the overhead light that makes the space darker! - The food is good for a resort and they pay a lot of attention to guests allergies and diet restrictions that is wonderful but there are very few options available. Yes, there are 4 restaurants and a taco truck but not all of them open at the same time. At night you have to wait between 1-1:30 hrs for a table that is very annoying. - We had ants in our room, tiny little things running around the fridge and coffee/tea maker area. The first night we cleaned the area ourselves with alcohol spray and hand sanitizer but the next morning we saw that th

The staff truly made this experience. Every single one of them was incredibly friendly and helpful! The food and drinks at this place were INCREDIBLE. And it was not crowded so there was hardly any waiting and you could always get a spot where you wanted to be.

Loved it! First time at an all-inclusive resort and were thrilled there weren't obnoxious drunk people - not a single one experienced our whole trip there! This resort is perfect if you want an adult oriented quiet way to enjoy the beauty of Cancun - not a party hotel and perfectly fits its niche. Service was outstanding!

Nothing we didn’t like. Restaurants were limited quantity wise but my overly picky fiancée had no issue finding food at every restaurant

The property is in a beautiful location though there was quite a bit of seaweed in the waterthe first 5 days we were there. In general everyone is very helpful and friendly. People work very hard.. We did have a few situation where we waited what seemed an unusual amount of time for a waiter or bartender. A couple of points for people to be aware of. There are only 4 restaurant on the propery. One is closed every night so there are really three open daily. While the food has always has been good and of modest size, a couple of things to be away of. Breakfast is very simple. Eggs and omelets come plain. Np potatoes, toast or beans. We found the steakhouse salads and appetizer very good but were disappointed with the steak. The baked potatoes and mashed sizes were very small. The entertainment choice is small. and while the courtyard is very nice it is very difficult to see the musians and show through the trees and vegation. Entertainmaint isoften over between 10 and 10:30 and there are no later night options. As you wouiild imagine beach chairs and pool chair are at a premium so go early and reserve them as many people do so before 9 AM.

Beautiful resort, amazing staff would definitely come again!

This was our second time staying there we can’t say enough how great this place is in every way you look at it . The staffs are excellent so helpful so courteous, every time we went out of the resort to explore they told us what to expect & make sure don’t fall for things that we shouldn’t buy . The only one thing I hope the resort do is to upgrade the towels in the room we noticed first time as well for a five star resort the towels are not nice & soft like it supposed to be beside that bed’s pillows are excellent, we’ll stay there again for sure. The beloved is a beautiful place but without its staff it wouldn’t be as amazing. Ramon was very sweet host mishell was an amazing person and Cesar a great waiter. Many more names I cannot remember but highly recommend this resort we went for our honeymoon for a week and we were happy with our stay and will be returning again thank you for a new honeymoon you are all amazing

Very Private

During my recent stay, I encountered some issues at the property that I believe could be improved. 1. The room's AC controller was not functioning properly, making it difficult to control the temperature. It seemed to run consistently regardless of the temperature setting. 2. I found some hairs on the bed frame and noticed that the towels had an unpleasant odor. 3. While the staff members were friendly, I noticed that there were some challenges with follow-through on requests. Additionally, there seemed to be an expectation for tips for basic services, which I found unusual for an all-inclusive resort. 4. I was disappointed to find that the indoor restaurant did not have air conditioning, especially during hot weather. Additionally, the requirement to wear long pants in such conditions was uncomfortable. 5. I had a negative experience with a beach vendor who appeared to be trying to scam me. I paid for a one-hour rental of three jet skis, but was stopped after only 30 minutes. When I confronted them with evidence, they suddenly claimed not to speak English. I hope this feedback can be used to address these issues and improve the overall experience for future guests.

I recently stayed at Beloved Playa Mujeres in Cancun, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was beyond exceptional. The resort is all-inclusive, but the attention to detail and personal touches made it feel like a true luxury getaway. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. We loved the whirlpool tub on the balcony, perfect for relaxing while taking in the stunning ocean views. The amenities are top-notch, from the fully stocked mini-bar to the luxurious bathroom products. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Each restaurant offered a unique dining experience, with menus that were diverse and full of flavor. Whether it was breakfast at the beachfront grill or a romantic dinner at one of the fine-dining options, every meal exceeded our expectations. The staff went out of their way to ensure that we were always comfortable and had everything we needed. They remembered our preferences, making every interaction feel personalized. As for the resort itself, it was incredibly peaceful, with lush landscaping and pristine beaches. The pools were clean and inviting, and we never had an issue finding a spot to relax. Whether you want to explore the beautiful surroundings or just relax by the pool with a drink in hand, Beloved offers the perfect balance.

This was a beautiful property!!! Very clean and landscaped!! It is a very quiet resort, so if you’re looking for entertainment this is not the place but If you’re looking for tranquility and relaxation it’s PERFECT!! The food is actually very good too! My absolute favorite was the taco truck Bocadito. I still dream about those tacos!! The veggie taco is amazing! The breakfast buffet at Le Bisou was also really good and had lots of different options. We were told by other guests that the best food was at El Mar on the beach, however we weren’t able to try it. The host there told us to wait 15 minutes for a table even though the restaurant was nearly empty …and after 15 minutes he asked us to keep waiting. He claimed he was waiting for someone to come clean the tables but every time a staff member came out he whispered something to them and they would leave without cleaning. It felt very personal and somewhat racist, since we were the only black couple trying to dine there at that time and couldn’t be seated in a restaurant with 5 empty tables. We ended up just ordering room service. One night it rained and became very humid afterwards and the mosquitos came out to attack!!! So I recommend you bring a very, very VERY strong mosquito repellent with you! Also bring your own liquor because The all inclusive alcohol is watered down completely. The water was also turned off in the hotel for several hours then was brown when it came back on and i was told this was normal by staff

Suites are spacious and clean. The staff go above and beyond to care for all your needs. Beach is beautiful and we also enjoyed the spa and gym. Very quiet and relaxing. We will come back again for sure.

Didn’t receive room upgrade

Great resort! Beautiful plant life on property which is well maintained. Delicious food. Service was given with a smile. I felt personally catered to. The mosquitoes were a problem so mosquito repellent is must. We forgot ours, a small can was expensive at the store there.

The staff really stood out as very friendly with excellent service. The food was also great much better than any other all inclusive we’ve stayed at.

Excellent stay overall

We had a pleasant stay at Beloved. The staff and service are exceptional. The activity and entertainment was below average. The entertainment itself was good but there are only a few areas to sit to enjoy it. There is no opportunity to dance. We were celebrating our anniversary, I would of loved to dance. The activities were just ok. Activity person was always late. Never ready and set up with chairs and table. No prizes for games and when we played water blackjack, he did not know how to play. The hot tub in our room had lots of rust. Water brown. There was awesome liquor selection but wine selection was very limited. Only 2 red wines, unless we wanted to pay for better wine. We enjoyed our stay but was a bit disappointed. Food was really good. 4 restaurants. I was happy with meals but was getting tired of menus after 5 days.

We were here for a 5 year anniversary-early 30s couple for 5 nights. Loved the feel of it being mostly just couples. Beautiful resort with well kept grounds. Our rooms were made up twice per day- restocked fridge and bar daily. Housekeeping is great. Food was hit or miss. My husband and I are foodies though who are used to fine dining with lots of flavor. The most flavor was at Lupitas-we had a tasty special menu anniversary meal with great staff. Beautiful beach dinner. El Mar had tasty guacamole and ceviche-did not like the breakfast there. Le Bisou had a good breakfast buffet and pretty good dinner-certain items we enjoyed more. La Isla food was ok. Such a beautiful and relaxing spa-would definitely do the spa again if we came back-Gustavo was great. We enjoyed doing the hydrotherapy as a couple and did the aqua viva add on. We loved the musicians and performers, especially the chellist. We did not really enjoy the retro performances though. Good service and staff. We did want to tip extra for certain staff. If you come mid August strongly advised to bring some sort of mosquito repellant/wipes etc. Not many resort activities. Next time we would book 4 days max or do a split stay with another resort. We overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend as a nice quiet place to reconnect with your partner.

We had a great time at this resort. The beach was beautiful as was the property. It was immaculate, and we loved our Casita. The people were amazing and friendly, with the exception of the swim up Bartender. He was not friendly at all. We thought the food was good, and the breakfast and lunch options were very good. The taco truck, beach, food and French restaurant for breakfast were all wonderful. The other dinner option just weren’t that good. The filet was so tough. And we didn’t enjoy the lobster tail because it had gravy on it. The steakhouse was lackluster. People thought the food was good, but we did not.

Amazing time at beloved. Property is kept so clean and well maintained. They run a tight ship at this property and you can tell. Montse was our favorite she’s such a great person, daniela, adrien, vincente, luis, and raul were great as well. My only complaint would be the coffee shop, couldn’t get a good cup our entire stay. If your looking for a quiet, calm, peaceful stay beloved is the resort for you.

This resort was incredible! The beach was beautiful the food was amazing the drinks were top notch and the hospitality of the employees was super! Environment was super clean and super quiet and the rooms where amazing! House keeping came in every day and night to your room and the tidied everything up for you! Room was also huge and we only had the junior suite. I was super satisfied with my honeymoon trip and definitely will be traveling again to this resort!

The property was absolutely beautiful and everyone was so nice and welcoming! I loved all the arts and crafts activities, along with the night performances. Beloved was a great place to celebrate our anniversary. The grounds are beautiful and so well maintained. The service was absolutely incredible; better than we've ever experienced. The small resort feel really allowed us to relax. Even if the main pool got a bit busy, to be clear, busy would be maybe 10 couples in it, there are other pools you can go to. The food was fine, but a bit of a let down. Multiple meals of lobster and steak, from multiple restaurants were quite tough. The AC could be a bit stronger as well. To be clear, we are already entertaining a return visit because the pros outweigh the cons, but we had higher hopes going into the trip based on so many others' experiences. The service, small size, and relaxing atmosphere are really what is drawing us back in. I do hope they add card access to the patio doors on their main floor casita rooms. Such easy access to the pool, beach, and two restaurants, but no way to lock the door leaving that way.

It was our first trip to Cancun our one year anniversary, they made it memorable, staff was great in all areas of the resort ,Mex greeted us , made us drinks and showed us around our room and took care of our transportation while we were at the resort. Our room was beautiful and clean, love coming back at night and having a small dessert left in our room every day, and the food delicious, exquisite the drinks same, everyone made us feel welcomed. Property so clean and beautiful. We will definitely come back and recommend it to our friends and family. We love Luis and staff at the cabana area, and the hostess were great all of our needs were met. The staff was great on our last day we were surprised by the Staff Russell, the bar supervisor and Kassandra at El Mar at Dinner with a delicious dessert and a beautiful hand written letter by Kassandra telling us how they love having us as guest. Thank you and everyone for making our vacation great with a lot of great and beautiful memories. From the Restaurant's to the Bar's to the Taco truck and the Coffee shop we were pampered by everyone. We will give this Resort a 10 .

Elias waiter el mar was very pleasant Loved our massages! Thank you Marco hydro massage and spa experience was wonderful Orfanel check out was very smooth. Overall great experience. Even during the brief hours of Hurricane Beryl. Bring change for tipping.

The uniqueness of this property is the personal attention you receive from all of the staff. From the moment you walk in the door you recieve royal treatment from the wait staff to grounds keepers. The food was excellent as well. My husband as nd I will definely make a return trip.

Very quite property the one time we did try to mingle with others laugh and play a little music at the swim up bar security came and said we were too loud must I remind you it was approximately 10 people 😞 Want to sleep go here, not very live until around 9 when nightly entertainment starts.

Nice property but better suited for older couples

Romantic, quiet couples getaway. The service and food is very good and the people make you feel very welcome. The property needs some repairs. Last years the property was beautiful and well kept. This year rain a lot and you can see the water marks and ceilings leaking a little even on the lobby bar.
