The stay was pleasant

Room was not serviced for 2 days. Had to ask for toilet paper,new towels and milk which should be checked and serviced daily! When asked about these devices, the staff said, sorry it wasn't on the list for service! Apart from that, good central location but not sure if I would stay there again..

Flexible, patient

Easy to find, could her the traffic when I went to bed and was concerned about that, but fell asleep and heard nothing until my alarm went if in the morning.

Awesome place stay there again

I liked the cleanliness of the unit. The layout was nice. Lovely bathroom facilities. No standard cooking facilities but i asked and they provided, happy. Serviced daily, happy. Close to town, happy. No sky tv, only thing i didn't like. I don't have it at home, nice to have it in a motel. On departure asked about recycling, was told to leave in unit, happy.

Our stay was a replacement for a trip over sea's. We were very happy with the cleanliness, service when required and location.

I want a refund and this motel should not be on the expedia - i paid $200 to sleep in my car - the did not answer the bell i waited for nearly two hours and I rang and they ignored and it was before 9pm so they cant use that as an excuse - and expedia confirmed so it was a scam!!!!!!

As newcomers to NZ, we didn’t realize Bella Vista was a chain. But now that we do, we’ll look for them in other destinations. Just what you’d like and expect in a motel for a couple of nights.

Overall was good. But the only minus point was the water kettle. It could be not washed thoroughly as there was stain at the tip of the kettle.

Nice motel close to town and beaches. In the absoluye right place and vert handy to eveeything.

The room and bathroom were very clean. Bed was comfortable. Only have one complaint in that you could not fit the jug in under the sink tap to fill it.

One thing we found that the water bottle in fridge (great idea for the hot days) could not be filled in the unit. Plates, cutlery, cups and glasses all provided but would have liked to have cooked in our room.

Sliding door was sticky .. room was rather small with no vanity.

Very convenient for us, on the main road into town

We found that the motel was conveniently placed on the main road into town from the airport making it very easy for us to find our way to our conference venue. The unit was very tidy, comfortable and clean. Checking in was a breeze and we were in our room in no time at all. No problem with car parking as there was plenty of space. Attentive staff even noticed that we had a anniversary card on display and the small gift was appreciated.

As regular visitors to Gisborne we stay at the Bella Vista if our friends from Gisborne are house full.The Bella vista is reasonably priced, always spotless and close to the CBD. We find the staff great .

Hotel meets requirements

In Gisborne for long weekend in winter and was outdoors during the day so it was good to come back to a warm, comfortable room with a great hot shower. Traveling in a larger vehicle but there was plenty of room to park.

Good basic motel

This was a good and clean room for the night. Staff very friendly. We were comfortable for the night but not for a longer stay as the room was rather cramped.

Central location

On overnight and fine for that but wouldn't stay more than one night. Bed was only double and old ... no partner disturbance factor.

Clean comfortable with friendly staff. No rerastaurant at the motel but plenty of good ones available in Gisborne and the room has a list of several that have chargeback arrangements.

Great hotel close to facilities.

Unfortunately I had an accident just after we arrived in Gisborne and had to stay in hospital. My husband stayed at the hotel and thought it was excellent. Our friends and family came and visited us.

Needed a central place to stay for work and this was perfect. Close to town. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely clean, quiet and well situated place.

Warm, comfortable, reliable

Greeted at reception with a cheerful helpful lady who helped me to decide where I should head for dinner. appreciated the glass milk bottle instead of those small UHT not pleasant tasting milk containers. The room was well appointed, comfortable, very clean and perfect for some where to put your head at the end of a day driving. Would seriously consider staying there again and making this my new "usual".
