Very friendly, clean and cozy! Recommended!

The rooms to small first they give me economy room which is very small , the bed three feet from the entrance door. The room has a small window but what you see an area full of Cigarette butts. But thanks God they change that room after i tell them my booking is for deluxe room not economy, its also tiny but better than the first box they put me in .

It’s amazing, Hotel with nice view and good person

This was a last minute booking of panic as the original hotel was not fit for human occupation! Having said that, it was lovely! A little language barrier with the staff but not too bad, We wish we had went to the restaurant on the first night and not the last, because the food there was magnificent! I have had surgery a few months prior and most foods can give me issues but not here, it was delicious and I'd go back just for the fajitas again! The food may look over priced at first when compared to the many many kebab places and takeaways around but if the quality doesn't satisfy you the portions certainly will, oh my goodness the plate was piled high with succulent chicken and vegetables,,,,,,, I want to go back now!!! *Wipes drool* Anyway, if I do come back to turkey I'll probably book a few nights here! Oh and the wee black cat that wanders about just outside the front door, the friendliest one in Istanbul!

Not baf for its worth

The staff was kind and helpful yet the room was not equipped with extra blankets, no drawers chest to organized clothes. Very tiny room. But it did have a hair dryer, a mini fridge. No taxi drivers want to drive here. Many times had to walk to a different area or use public transportation.

There was nothing like which was mentioned on Expedia. It was so noisy. Breakfast was included in our package but it was pathetic. Overall experience was below average. They should improve their service and also make rooms sound proof.

You can’t go to swimming pool if you don’t buy cap

The hotel is in good location, everything was fine but indoor swimming pool was very small and tbh not even comfortable and the disgusting part was that ladies (who sits there all the time and offers massage to everyone) didn’t let us go to the pool unless we paid them 5 euros for each swimming cap. We had to buy those cheap made plastic caps (which was not worth even $0.99) to go inside the pool. I think the hotel must provide those caps for free. Other than that we enjoyed our 4 nights trip. Thanks for drop off service, car was very clean & nice and Murad was very friendly.

Great location/ Rooms are not much to expect.

The hotel is conveniently located in a shopping/tourist area. Close to the tramway station. Rooms are not equipped as shown. The fridge in the room had a lot of ice and barely fit 1 bottle of water. The elevators are very small. only can fit 2 ppl with 2 pieces of luggage. If you have more, you must make a few trips to bring all of your staff. The restaurant is not open as advertised. No one picked up the phone when I was going to order some food. Breakfast is the same every day. Food doesn't have any indication of what is that. The common things like vegetables are fine, but salads? Or hot food? That needs to be improved especially for international customers. The pool is very small and slippery.

Ok, but could be better for the price.

The staff at the front desk were very good, but they couldn’t find one of our bookings. The breakfast had a good selection and was fresh each day. The location in terms of getting places of great, but it is not a very nice area. I think you can find better for the money.

Not recommend

This was the worst experience ever i am very sorry that i had to stay here, the hotel is rated 4stars but to me one star is more than enough, rooms are very small and the lighting is bad the bathrooms are very old and not clean And staff here cant be related to customer service at all, breakfast is very limited and boring and staff don’t ware gloves or hair caps.. its a shame that places like this are still open,wifi is very low and the staff are not helpful at all, They made me feel uncomfortable and unhappy. The only good thing is the location other than this it was a bad experience

Good location, near the the old city , old bazar and businesses area. Small indoor swimming pool was not comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly .

Good location

I have been to many hotels in the past and none have been as bad as this one. The pictures are not a true reflection of what the hotel looks like. First of all the reason i booked this hotel was due to the pool facilities. When i got there they were closed. They shouldve mentioned it it in booking.

The hotel restaurant close on Sunday. Rye hotel staff was very nice and friendly. The SPA is amazing. The Turkish bath is amazing. The massage was on. A good place to stay. The only downside is the location is down a hill. Cats cannot access front of hotel but the staff will assist with luggage. I will stay there again.

Nice hotel had a great stay!

We stayed at this hotel for a week and I can't think of anything negative to say about it except for the room being a bit small but it didn't really bother us. The staff were very nice as well as the cleaners who were very friendly and they changed the sheets and towels everyday and there's even a cleaner who cleans the balcony seperately. There's a mini bar in the room and a safety box. Toiletries were provided and replaced everyday when needed. Breakfast was from 7 to 10 am and they had a wide variety of nice food and it was always topped up until the end of the morning. It was much better than we expected so it was a nice surprise. Location wise it was ideal as it was only 2 min from the Laleli tram station so close to the main road. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely come again and recommend it to everyone.

Do not judge the book by its cover.

The room is average - nothing spectacular, the downside is when you open the curtains you see a machine and a wall a machine of some sort that looks like a transformer . There is absolutely nothing to see but a wall. Why there is a wall outside the window ? I dont know - It was disappointing to say the least. The breakfast is nice but its almost the same food everyday. The photos online are overrated - The golden colors on the photos have been exaggerated. Noisy guests was also not a pleasant thing to have, but cannot blame that to the hotel. The staff need to learn how to smile a bit. The potter was such a nice chap friendly and had a smile on him but majority are grumpy faces.

good location, a solid choice

This is a quality hotel. Good staff, top notch room condition, great breakfast, and very close to metro ( but not close enough to hear it). Rooms were a little small, but I have stayed in many large cities with small rooms; it goes with the territory. Stayed in another Istanbul hotel and was always wakened by calls to prayer blaring from loudspeakers. Not a problem here.

We were in Istanbul during a snowstorm and that was the great place to stay warm. Their sauna is really great, clean and, staff is so friendly that we forgot about our wet and tired feet very quickly.

The hotel is in a rather ugly part of Istanbul,on a very, very steep hill with lots of visible rubbish accumulated. Access through worn steps down almost to hotel itself. 5 steps leading to hotel are in good condition but no banister. Your description should mention this, because access for old people is problematic I had booked a Double Deluxe room, which was illustrated on your website, because it was spacious, and I paid the appropriate supplement. First I was given a very small room, which I rejected. I was then shown 2 bigger rooms, still small, which bore little relation to the room on your website. Although I showed them the room you had on your website, they refused to give me the room, and I had to pay an extra 50 euros in order to receive it. Highly unacceptable and dishonest on the part of the hotel. Two minor points: fridge was stocked but wasn't working. In your room description you state "tea and coffee facilities": what they supplied was an electric kettle only. This is the first time I book through Expedia and am disappointed with the result. I should be grateful if you would intervene and get the hotel to refund the 50euros I was charged. This was clearly a case of misrepresentation on your part or the hotel's.

Hotel was great ideal location (if you like to shop for clothes) not to far from the tourist sites the one thing lacking was not a lot of food places near the hotel you have to walk about 10 mins toward the blue mosque The staff was extremely helpful breakfast was a bit of let down All in all great hotel great holiday

Fantastic hotel

This hotel was absolutely magic ! So stylish, equipped with high standard amenities , and great bedding . A real " doll house " in the center of the city . The fish tank is just awesome . In a few minutes walking distance we were able to reach the main sightseeing of the center of Istanbul: the location of the Loft is perfect . And it's a very quiet place, which was a very important point for us after the exhausting days visiting the city . We want to thank the owner who is a great host, very nice, available and with many good tips ( especially about restaurants ) . We do hope to come back in this hotel and we will definitely recommend it. Merci Tahsin for your help and kindness.

Very nice hotel, airport transfer was a scam.

I was given a rate if 50 Euros round trip. The driver then charged me for th 2 hours he had to wait while I was going through customs as well as the parking. On the way back to the airport, I forgot my passport so we had to turn around. We hadn't driven more than 15 min. When we got to the airport he told me it was going to be $75 because of the returning to the airport and the waiting at the income ride and the parking. When I showed him it was supposed to be 50 Euro round trip he said that was only for 4 passengers. I didnt want to argue anymore, I gave him 30 Turkish lira and $20 and walked out.

Good location but a single is a small room!

I liked everything except two things. The room is a single and the space is half of a standard double room, so it felt a little small. The breakfast could be improved. Imitation orange juice and instant coffee + a lot of food catering to Turkish breakfast of lettuce, olives and cheese. The breakfast was so, so!

Good hotel and value for money

This hotel is close to the tourist areas - about 5 miles from Taksim square which is the trafalgar Sq / west end of Istanbul. You can take a taxi from the hotel to the square for about £5 to £10. The hotel is also close to tourist attractions such as the blue mosque and the tour bus. You can take a taxi to these places or catch the train line. The train station is about a 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. The actual location of the hotel is not very good but ok - it's surrounded by some mid range fashion shops. The hotel itself represents value for money. It's clean, the staff are ok etc. Main issues is the room size which is very small. Also, you may get a single bed. I specifically selected a double bed but ended up with a single one which I found quite uncomfortable. The decor and tv is good - you get over 1000 channels but you'll have to go through a lot of channels to get to the English ones. The sauna is also excellent. The breakfast is nothing to write home about - not good. Don't expect sussages, bacon, fried eggs, mushrooms etc...I found the breakfast very boring - mostly cold foods like salads etc. if you love salads and fruits, you'll love the breakfast. The bar and room service are good with reasonable prices.

Nice Room

Our initial opinion was not good as the girl at the front desk was quite abrupt. Later contact with other staff was fine. The hotel room itself was very clean with a modern décor and nice new bathroom. The hotel is in a small street in the garment district of the city which makes it hard to find but if you want to shop for clothes etc. it is perfectly situated. It is only a short distance from a Crowne Plaza and a Hilton. A trip to the Old town from this hotel cost us 20L (us$10).

Nice hotel with comfortable beds, room a little small but ok. Shower very narrow but clean. I ordered room service late one night after arriving to hotel. Wrong food was delivered so when I spoke to the restaurant, they said to leave outside. I expected the right order to be delivered and nothing arrived. I went to the restaurant and the extremely rude staff said that kitchen was closed and that I ordered an incorrect meal. Why did he accept my order to begin with. What a joke it was.

Et ok hotel med en central beliggenhed for både sporvogn og seværdigheder. Personalet er flinke, morgenmaden er god og udsigten om morgenen er sublim. Desværre levede hotellet dog ikke op til vores booking. Dels fik vi ikke to forbundne værelser og dels så er hele deres pool, spa og saunaområde lukket (vi fik fortalt at det vil stå på i yderligere 15 dage).Så pris og produkt passer ikke sammen for denne booking. Det skal dog siges at hotellet tilbyder at man kan besøge deres nabo Hotel Darkhill, hvis man ønsker at hoppe i en pool og få en spaoplevelse.

Trångt och väldigt mycket ljud från personalen som började städa, banka och prata högt redan tidigt på morgonen. Sängen var kass man kände var enda detalj i madrassen. Det luktade rök överallt och dom röker precis vart som helst. Första natten fick jag ett rum utan fönster kändes väldigt obehagligt. Frukosten var kass, alla dessa bilder dom har lagt upp är långt ifrån verkligheten .

Sehr schlimm bitte nicht hingehen! Die Fotos zeigen was anderes! Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, unhygienisch! Essen war teilweise abgelaufen immer das selbe essen. Das Restaurant war unhygienisch. Für eine 4 Sterne Hotel war es nicht mal gut wie eine Pension.

De um modo geral, considero que a estadia no Bekdas, foi bastante agradável. Contudo, não começou da melhor forma! Num primeiro impacto achámos que a rua onde se situa, não correspondia às fotografias. Porém após conhecermos a zona e vermos a perspectiva, percebemos que era aquilo que efetivamente tínhamos visto. Com mais ou menos efeito, as fotografias correspondem ao que o Hotel apresenta. A sala de pequenos almoços/ restaurante é ampla e com vista para o bósforo. Têm muita variedade de comida, como mostram as imagens, contudo um pouco alternativo para quem procura pequenos almoços continentais, mais tradicionais. O SPA é muito bom e pouco movimentado. Um espaço agradável para relaxar ao fim do dia. O aspecto que nos deixou mais apreensivos foi mesmo o facto de pedirem para ficar com a nossa identificação pessoal durante a permanência no hotel, pois isso não é permitido em Portugal.

Das Hotel Bektas in Laleli İstanbul ist der pure Corona Hord. COVİD-19 Schutzmassnahmen werden weder von den Gästen noch vom Personal eingehalten: - maskenfreies Rumlaufen in geschlossenen Räumlichkeiten kein Problem - Aufzüge werden überfüllt und ohne Masken genutzt - Frühstück wird im offenen Buffet serviert, obwohl anlässlich der Pandemie verboten - Personal & Hotelmanagement ist hinsichtlich dieser Situation gleichgültig, weshalb ich polizeiliche Anzeige erstattete!!!

je ne recommenderais jamais cet hotel. ils nous ont donné une chambre de moins de 9 m2. ils nous ont enlevé nos passeports soit disant on n'avaient pas payė. on nous a demandé de payer une deuxieme fois. et lorsqu'on a reussi à recuperer nos passeports, on nous a enlevė l'unique carte d'acces a la chambre. l'horreur!!!!!! on a dû rendre le passeport pour avoir acces a notre chambre. il a fallut du temps pour qu'ils comprennent qu'on avait payé, et cela malgre les documents qui confirment le paiement. c'est désolant!!!!! plus jamais cet hotel!!!!!! et peut etre, plus jamais hotel.com?

Ездили в отель на Новый год. Заселение заняло не более 5 минут.Великолепный большой номер со свежим ремонтом и видом на море. Отличный завтрак в ресторане с панорамным видом на море. Расположение отеля очень удачное. Достопримечательности в пешой доступности и прямо у выхода из отеля множество магазинов.Рядом метро и остановка трамвая, добрались до отелят на метро и трамвае. Обратно воспользовались трансфером из отеля. Персонал на ресепшн говорит по русски.

Chambre très petite, moi et mon fils on n'arrive même pas à bouger , entre chaque lit il y a seulement 1/2 mètre. L'accueil est nul, plutôt agressif (sauf si vous de moyen orient et que vous montrez votre CB) Expérience amère , plus jamais cet hôtel malgré l'emplacement très bien

Personal an der Rezeption top,Personal beim Frühstück flop. Zimmer sehr klein,sehr wenig stauraum.Zimmer werden zwar täglich gereinigt,aber sehr oberflächlich.Klobürste war gelb,braun.Mehrheitlich arabische Gäste.Frühstück war ausgewogen und lecker.Das Hotel liegt im Grosshändler Viertel,runtergekommen,in dem man als Frau alleine,abends Angst bekommen würde. Die Straßenbahn liegt ganz in der Nähe.Der Grand Bazaar ist zu Fuß etwa 10 min. entfernt.

Das Hotel ist besticht weniger vom äußern, sondern von den sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Mitarbeiter. Der Service ist dementsprechend sehr gut, so dass der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm war und man sich immer willkommen gefühlt hat.

Vriendelijk personeel, kamers zijn schoon (en worden elke dag gepoetst). Het waren leuke dagen, voor herhaling vatbaar.
