A very bad experience

I don't know what organization is grading accommodations with stars in Catania, but this is not a 3-star accommodation... barely a 1-star, if at all. The place is old, dirty and in very poor condition. It needs complete renovation. In addition, the bed has broken springs, the pillows are hard and not really useable and the shower is partly clogged. The room does not look at all as it is shown in the photo. We paid in advance, so we had to stay there, but this place should not be listed in hotels.com. The only good thing is that it is located very close to Piazza del Duomo.

Sicilian Dream

Owner was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of and had why we needed. He was extremely helpful with information and suggestions about visiting the area. Location was perfect, just a 3 block walk to the main dining and shopping area, not to mention all the historical sites that were truly breathtaking

Central location

Close to Centrale station

Walkable distance to Centrale stations and the shopping area. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only down side is that you have to drag your luggage up to level 2 but if that’s not an issue, overall experience is pleasant. Room has all the basics you need.

Convenient location, friendly staff

Basic accommodation in central location. Noisy road but this was expected as I'd researched it before booking so I took earplugs. Booked a quadruple room for 3 people so we had plenty of space. Double bed was quite uncomfortable as mattress needs replacing. Single bed was average but sofa bed was very comfortable which my daughter slept very well on (only suitable for child size). Would benefit from having a small fridge in the room to keep drinks cold. Air conditioning worked well and kept room cool.

Great little B&B

Great little B&B with a nice breakfast and wonderful staff. While staying there I fell mildly ill, and when my girlfriend went to ask for directions to a pharmacy the staff instead gave her some painkillers and a couple of snacks so I wasn't taking them on an empty stomach - great service. The B&B is in a good location, close to sites and transport links. Highly recommended.

bread and breakfast in the heart of catania

From the outside it looks shabby, it is old, but when you reach the second floor and you enter into the Bed and Breakfast you forget everything and you see a whole new scenario, it is newly refurbished, the rooms are spotless, staff are extremely welcoming and friendly, breakfast was very fresh and good.. very worth the price we paid...

Bad neighborhood

No parking, shady characters walking around, hookers on the corner, four flight walk up to the B&B. It wasn't worth it for us. Not recommended.

Fint litet familjedrivet B&B. Mysig lugn innergård att sitta och äta frukost mot. Kan starkt rekommenderas.

Great place, friendly staff

Nice place with really great staff!! The woman who has the place is really great. It's close to the city center. The breakfast was ok and nice to have in the balcony. Would stay again if ever in Catania.

Le camere sono troppo vicine alla sala della colazione quindi c'è un caos già dalla mattina presto troppo vicino e comunque le camere via vai continuo di giorno di notte forse e poi comunque è abbastanza lontano dal centro nel complesso si sta bene per uno che deve entrare e uscire se andarci soltanto a dormire ma più che bene sono personale ottimo e qualificato

Le B§B est idéalement situé dans la ville de Catane, près du port et de la place du Duomo, en centre ville historique. Les chambres sont confortables et agréable, la terrasse très calme. L'accueil de Jean est souriant et efficace, elle s'occupe de tous nos problèmes ( taxi, plan,....) avec gentillesse.

L'hôtel est situé dans le quartier Opéra pas très loin du centre et près de restaurants également. Ma chambre dînait sur un petit patio ouvert. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants.

B&B bien placé et propre.

Le B&B est très pratique parce que situé à distance raisonnable à pied de la station centrale de trains (pour aller et revenir dans la journée vers Taormina et Syracuse par exemple) et de la station de bus (pour aller par exemple vers Nicolosi et l'Etna) et à très courte distance du quartier des restaurants et monuments.

Per chi non ha grandi pretese. Ottima posizione

Abbiamo alloggiato presso questo bed and breakfast per 5 notti. Posizione ottima per visitare la città a piedi. Comodo e economico il parcheggio disponibile a 5 minuti dal bed and breakfast. Personale estremamente cordiale e disponibile. Dovrebbe essere segnalato che la struttura si trova al secondo piano senza ascensore. Stanza ampia ma nonostante i doppi infissi la notte risente del traffico del centro. Wifi in camera con segnale insufficiente. Bagno con qualche particolare da sistemare (supporto doccia e piano lavabo). Tutto considerato buon rapporto qualità-prezzo

Ce Bed and Breakfast est dans une rue peu agréable, mais il est relativement bien situé, peu loin à pied des gares de trains et de bus centrales et peu loin à pied de la zone touristique de la ville. L'intérieur du BandB avec une terrasse est plaisant. Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses.

nettes kleines Hotel in zentraler Lage

Zunächst gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber für die Region bei kleineren Hotels wohl eher üblich ist die Tatsache, dass das "Hotel" aus mehreren Zimmern besteht die sich innerhalb eines größeren, sehr verschachtelten Wohnkomplexes mit Innenhof befinden. Es gibt einen zentralen Gäste-/Speiseraum im 1. OG und davor ein schmaler länger Balkon in den Innenhof. Alles ist recht nett und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Da der Balkon im Innenhof liegt ist es dort angenehm ruhig. In den teilweise zur Straße hin gelegenen Zimmer sind die Fenster zwar mit zusätzlichen inneren Läden versehen, sie können aber gegen den erst nach Mitternacht ruhiger werden Straßenlärm wenig ausrichten. Die Leute im Hotel sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, unterstützen Besucher bei Tagestouren und helfen auch sonst jederzeit mit Informationen und Auskünften.

Die nicht gemachten Zimmer bei der Ankunft erklärten sich im Nachhinein durch die Krankheit der Reinigungsfrau, die, als sie am nächsten Tag wieder kam, als supernett herausstellte.

Le stanze sono pulite e comode. Massima disponibilità del personale che ci ha fatto sentire come a casa nostra. Buona colazione (suggerirei solo di aggiungere lo yogurt magro).

Naja, ein Zimmer, der Vermieter sollte nahe des Ha

Ein Zimmer in Catania, hätten mehr erwartet, Parkplatz trotz Zusicherung nicht vorhanden, Zimmer soweit ok. Es ist immer besser, wenn der Vermieter in der Nähe wohnt und nicht von irgendwo anreisen muss, da man als Reisender nict immer zu einer bestimmten Zeit kommen kann, insbesondere wenn kein Parkplatz da ist. Würde das Zimmer nicht nochmal buchen.

La location è ottima, perfetta per il centro storico e la movida catanese. Il parcheggio si trova facilmente in zona, ma è a pagamento orario: non molto caro se si fa il giornaliero. Il personale è stato molto gentile e ospitale. Ci ritorneremo, dovessimo ricapitare a Catania!

Manager sehr hilfsbereit, organisiert auch interessante Touren zu Etna, Taormina etc., Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber, gute Erreichbarkeit, Flughafen-Bus-Station ca. 7 Min. zu Fuß, Zentrum ca. 5-7 Min. zu Fuß, Intercity-Busbahnhof ca. 15-17 Min. zu Fuß.

Gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis

Gute Betreuung und Service inkl. Frühstück. Hatten angenehmes Zimmer mit moderer Ausstattung und Ambiente. Zimmer zum Innenhof war auch ruhig - Zur Staße hin, ist allerdings fragwürdig, da starker Verkehr.

Go soggiornato al b&b opera nel periodo della festa patronale di S.Agata , devo dire è stato molto conveniente data la posiZione centralissima! Se vuoi fare una vacanza dedita alla movida catanese, questo è il posto giusto! Personale cordiale e pronto ad aiutarti in tutto ciò che ti serve!

b&B gradevole

la struuturaè carina vicina al centro, l'unica pecca la colazione che non eraabbondante, e non è stata puntuale, avevano detto alle 8 , ma non era pronto non prima delle 8-15. la camera spaziosa confortevole, con riscaldamento.

Un bel posticino nel centro di Catania

Siamo stati al b&b Opera per cinque giorni e ci siamo trovati molto bene. La camera è arredata in stile moderno ed evidentemente ristrutturata di recente perché era tutto in ottimo stato. Il personale era cortese e disponibile. Molto bella la possibilità di fare colazione sul terrazzino che da all'interno del cortile e poter godere del clima gradevole di inizio giornata. Consigliato!!

Cordialità e simpatia.

Ho soggiornato per 7 notti presso questo B&B. La posizione è buona vicino al centro storico ed alla stazione sia dei treni che delle corriere da dove poi partire per le vari escursioni. Le camere sono pulite, hanno una bella doccia e sono spaziose, inoltre TV e WI-FI ed aria condizionata. Per la colazione hanno una terrazza interna con dei tavolini in cui si sta benissimo più la saletta in comune con un grande tavolo. Colazione di tipo dolce non salato, caffè espresso o cappuccio, cornetto caldo, servito da due sipaticissime persone che aiutano in struttura. La prima notte abbiamo dormito in una camera più piccola con accesso diretto al terrazzino interno perchè quella prenotata era occupata, la seconda notte ci hanno spostato su quella più spaziosa con terrazzino sulla via principale. Posso dire che quella più piccola era meglio disposta della grande in cui si fatica a passare frontalmente al letto matrimoniale. Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile in tutto. Sicuramente se dovessi tornare a Catania sceglierei questo B&B.

Wel Ok, maar kan beter

Deze B&B bevind zich op een goede locatie in de stad Catania, alles is op loopafstand. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en doet hun best. Wel laat de kamer en het ontbijt te wensen over. De renovatie van de badkamer is slecht gedaan en hier en daar een losse tegel, ook de bedden/lattenbodem is aan vervanging toe. Het ontbijt is ok, alleen jammer van de voorverpakte croissants en kleine keuze aan broodbeleg.

Top locatie, lief personeel en prachtige kamers!

Ik heb 2 dagen overnacht in dit hotel en dit is mij zeer goed bevallen. Wij hadden een prachtige grote kamer. Het ontbijt en de service was goed geregeld. Het personeel was heel aardig en behulpzaam.
