Apartments were large and clean. Pool was clean and centrally located. Could watch kids from balcony. Aircon in lounge only. Laundry was handy.

Nice quiet area, spacious apartments. poor hygiene, outdoor pool area looks like abandoned.

Charging extra for toilet paper….

Needs a thorough spring clean of screens, curtains, windows. Lounge suites offer no back or bottom support. They need updating. The place smelled stuffy so we opened all the windows we could and left them open on our departure. We sprayed with Glen 20 as well. Our had no ocean views yet it's called Beachside apartments??? We had to walk up tedious steep steps to the car park.

We were there for Rep basketball and we enjoyed our stay. Will book again.

Good location!!

Place is in a great location close to Flynn’s beach and shops and food places. The man in reception was great and easy to deal with. I wouldn’t stay on ground level apartment again as there is no privacy and other people were having a large family gathering and using the seats out the front so couldn’t sit out the front or open the windows as very noisy. It stated the outdoor pool was heated but it wasn’t and was cold. They had a detailed list laminated in the kitchen of additional costs which was very full on and a bit much.

I was very disappointed, expecting a 4 star place as stated. The room smelt musty, and was definitely not what 4 star sadly.

The barbecue areas and spacious balcony areas were a highlight, as was the pool and the ocean views.

Great place to stay, beautiful beach opposite. 100m walk to coffee, patisserie & dining.

Good location, short drive from cbd and a close walk to the beaches. Dining options within 50 metres. Very good base to explore the region from.

Excellent Apartment

Very comfortable apartments in a prime location opposite Flynn’s Beach and close to excellent restaurants and cafes. Very nice pool area and well equipped apartment. Highly recommend.

Clean spacious room with friendly staff who were happy to assist with any request. Room was nice and clean and outside area was very appealing.

Well equipped, hot water capacity for 4 adults insufficient. Common area, stairway & parking area could do with a sweep & clean.

Great proximity to beaches, very noisy because of school holidays. The fridge within our room was very noisy and kept us awake on the two night we stayed. There didn't appear anyone who we could report this to !!

Lots of room in the apartment, and good amenities, very clean and well kept. The mattresses were not great, quite firm and uncomfortable..

Comfortable short stay

Stayed specifically for the Ironman weekend - so needed good location, comfortable and affordable (not using space much on the Sunday). All reqt met.

Spacious and quiet

The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and comfortable. complex is handy to the beach and very quiet. staff were friendly and helpful. Great place for families.

Cockroaches, bad smells, unclean and no refund!

Having paid a very large sum of money to stay in January we arrived and checked-in. Our first impression was that the room smelled very mouldy. We tried to open the windows to let fresh air in but they could only open about 1 inch. The room was not very clean and the verandah had not been cleaned in a very long time. The we read the accommodation booklet on the coffee table about cockroaches and I quote " don't be alarmed if you see two or three cockroaches in your apartment" " A shoe should easily dispatch them" (please see photo). With the potential of sleeping for four nights in a room with cockroaches sent my wife into an anxiety attack. We decided that we could not stay in such a place. We checked out with the receptionist stating the room was sprayed about a month ago and that we shouldn't see any cockroaches; we couldn't take that chance. We offered to pay the first nights accommodation and asked for a refund for the rest. We were advised to talk to the manager. As we had checked-in, we had no right to a refund. If we hadn't shown up at all, we would have been entitled to a refund of all but the first nights accommodation. When we booked the apartment, there was no indication of cockroaches being a potential threat and so we feel that it is very unfair that we have been refused any refund by the manager Allister. Whilst we did not see any cockroaches, the fact that they feel it necessary to state it in the "welcome" means to us that it is a big problem. Please be aware

Superior location directly opposite Flynn’s Beach(10sec walk over the road), 3 bedroom apartment was HUGE for our large family (5 kids) in fact it would be the equivalent of a 4 bedroom in Sydney, each of the bedrooms had its own balcony, the apartment was spotless and the kids loved the spa bath, the swimming pool has a very shallow area which is perfect for toddlers and the pool is heated, we will definitely be booking here again ! (Side note: we were originally booked 1 week earlier and had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, Natalie was more than accommodating to move the dates for us hassle free) 5 stars all the way !!! THANK YOU

Great location, across the road from the beach

The location is fantastic, beach, cafes and local store within meters, the apartments were a great size and while a little dated they were reasonably comfortable and well fitted. The kitchen had plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and utensils. The only drawbacks were: Very very uncomfortable mattress in the main room which meant that we hardly slept. The fact that while the apartments were non-smoking, the open plan of the balconies meant that if our neighbour was smoking on their balcony the smoke drifted straight onto ours and into our apartment if the door was open. Made it hard for us to sit out on our balcony and relax. Pool could do with more regular maintenance, particularly on busy days. The you-beaut coffee machine which was advertised all around the property and in the apartments itself with the bi-line of SPOIL YOURSELF....was out of order. Otherwise we truly enjoyed our stay.

Great position right opposite a patrolled beach!

Clean, very spacious, lovely staff, secure car parking and only about 35 minute walk along the beachside track to the centre of town.

Nice Apartment close to the beach

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment at the front of the building with an ocean view. Free upgrade, which was a nice surprise. There was plenty of room and we had everything we needed for a two night stay.

Close to beach

In a great position in Port Macquarie. On arrival greated by staff in grubby clothing and found accommodation the same. Apart from sheets and towels, everything else needed a good clean and refurbishment. No air conditioner bedrooms. There are 3 flights of stairs from car park to upper level, no lift.

The room was spacious and clean. It's a nice place to stay and I would go again.

We Loved It!

This was our first stay at this place, after staying at the same place for years. Our room was fantastic! Location is great and the pool is beautiful. We will stay here again for sure.

Nice apartment across the road from the beach

Very happy with the staff and facilities - nice pool with excellent and clean BBQ facilities on site which were well equipped. With the one qualification below, I would happily recommend this apartment. Now for the qualification, this is not a complaint, just a word of caution if you are a family and considering utilising an extra roll-out bed for the third child. The apartment we were in was 2 bedroom, 1 queen and two singles. There was nowhere really to place the roll-out bed. Our third child slept on the mattress in the hallway of our unit between the two bedrooms. Having said that, it must also be said that when we arrived, the roll-out bed apparently wasn't charged on the invoice and the owner waived the fee - thank you

The Manager was not friendly at all. Made me feel like an inconvenience immediately, wasn't acceptable that we only had a visa debit card because if we broke his tv or trashed the room he wouldn't find much money in our account. We were a family of 5! A neat and clean family who were just in Port to visit our 94yr old Grandmother (and Great Grandmother to my children). The 5th person booked was my nearly 3yr old (who we paid additional money for) and that was an inconvenience for the Manager and also no towel was provided for him. We didn't touch the kitchen, had a short swim in the pool and used the lounges/tv. I even took photos of the unit arriving and leaving so that we could prove we didn't break anything.... disgusting how rude he was! No smile or have a good stay! It was all about how he would recoup money if we damaged anything, and the direction we MUST walk to get to our unit!! What a waste!

Big 3 bed apartment with pool.

6 adults and a nearly 2yo thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a great place. Only a short drive or a good walk into Port Macquarie shopping area.

Family friendly and close to the beach

This place is a great easy-going location and the facilities are very good. The pool is a perfect size for kids, it's also centrally located so all the apartment balcony's can view it. Which means it's easy for parents to see what's going on! Lovely staff, extremely helpful and nothing's too difficult. The apartments are very comfortable with everything you would need, and my kids love the extra big couches in the lounge. We will definitely be back to stay.

Great room and views from the room we had. Lovely pool and area, the pool rules where not adhered to as there was workmen staying there on two afternoons they had glass bottles in the pool which is very dangeras as you have only got to back one and anybody could be cut as the glass would be had to locate

Friendly staff, immaculately clean rooms and facilities, good quality well appointed apartments, clean BBQ area. Couldn't fault it really. I would definitely stay again

Fun and good to get away

Enjoyable self service apartments minutes away from Flynn's beach. Get place for families with children enjoying the communal pool.

No lifts, all stairs, not notified about this. The pool area too noisy, screaming children, gates constantly slamming, people drinking alcohol from bottles in pool area. Had to close doors to block noise.

We enjoyed our stay but it would have been more comfortable if the bathroom had proper cabinets to store your toiletries

perfect location for cafes, beach etc. Easy walking distance to shops. Safe patrolled beaches for the kids. Walking tracks are awesome for the healthy conscious.

Sea view

Good location for walking the costal paths, fanatic beach, good restaurant nearby, The Bar. Apartment good generally but when I asked for some more sachets of washing up liquid I was charged which was disappointing! Only 2 sachets for 4 nights stay with four adults wasn't enough!

Nice Hotel close to the famous Flynn beach

Three families stayed thee last week and overall experience was very pleasing. Convenient location as the Flynn beach is across the road. Swimming pool is also good sized and well maintained.

Port Macquarie/Flynn's Beach

We had a lovely stay. The living area was large and it was nice to have secure parking. The TV was a good size and there was a nice flow of fresh air through the whole apartment. The kitchen was more than adequate, but sadly, very poorly appointed. It would be nice to have more than a small sachet of dishwashing liquid to get your through; none of the plates matched, there were only 5 forks and knives and no sharp chopping knives and only one chopping board. The pool area was lovely and clean although he electric BBQs in the cabana were of little or no use to BBQ. It was a bit costly but we were there over Christmas. Great place for a family of four!

A good choice

3 Bedroom apartment. 2 adults and 4 teenage boys No air conditioning in bedrooms but good cross flow breeze through screened doors and windows. Very roomy lounge and kitchen with good sized bedrooms. Just 1 bathroom but this was not an issue for us. This complex represented good value for a stopover on our trip to Qld

Nice relaxing stay

We've stayed here before and thoroughly enjoy our stay. The kids love the pool and they have great BBQ areas (including roof top). Late check in is a breeze and the apartments are huge. The hot water in the shower doesn't last long and our front door needed a good slam to shut it but if that's the worst of it then we are pretty happy!

Great location

Great location across from the beach, although most rooms overlook the pool. Comfortable and clean unit. The gardens and pool area could do with a regular clean, we stayed there five days and the same pair of socks and dirty tissue were by the pool the whole time. Would recommend staying there though.

The apartment smelled really awful, like cheap cleaning products and we had to air the whole place out before we could stay there. The mattresses were hard and uncomfortable. For the price we paid, it was not worth it.

Overall it was a good hotel. Pros: Price was good for a family of 5. Location was good with flynns beach across the road. Secure underground parking. Quiet and friendly permanent residents. Cons: Bathroom could have been cleaned better.

Excellent stay, perfect for couples and families.

Huge, spacious apartment that had all the right facilities and modern appliances but decor was a little bit dated. Super, super clean (probably due to being charged for leaving any mess, including dirty washing up or garbage) and tidy. Walk across the road and you are on Flynns Beach. Parking is slightly tight (we had a CRV, which isn't a truck, just your average size SUV) but you can cope with it, especially as it is secure. Pool was a bit chilly, but it is winter! Will recommend to family and friends to stay here, very enjoyable stay.

No hot water

There was only 50L of hot water you can use at a time. I stayed there with 3 children it was impossible to give them a bath, and the water pressure for the shower was terrible too. The hot water system here was the worst of all the places I stayed. It made the stay very uncomfortable not being able to take a decent shower at the end of the day. I don't recommend this place to anyone and I'll never stay with them again.

Good little hotel. Great for a larger family, huge living and lounging areas. Too big for just one person and probably expensive.

Enjoyed the facility

We booked on line after reading the reviews from previous people. That was our third time in Port Macquarie for a 'mini break' and by far the best. It is a self catering facility with a basic starter pack. Very clean, comfortable. Good position - not in shopping district. Have booked to stay there again.

Nice location

We just stayed overnight - liked location because it's near the beaches and the downtown. But would have been impressed if the pool was clean and had two bathrooms instead of one.

Beachside Holiday Apartments personal touch.

No idea what the guest pack is. Had to phone the number left on the door to find our keys when we checked in at 2pm. Didn't see the manager or attendant during our stay. Had to leave our key in a letterbox outside the gate. Approx. 100ml of milk for 4 adults for 2 days and 4 sachets of coffee. Empty ice trays. Very impersonal and a find your own way about it. Not all that pleased. But you asked for ratings.

Great spacious apartment

We stayed in one of the deluxe 2 bed sea view apartments and it was really nice! Great sized living room and bedrooms and the views are amazing. If you're lucky you can even sit on the balcony and spot a few whales! Only criticism is that it's a bit far out of town, but we either drove in or got taxis.

Huge 2 bedroom apartment, with ocean views. Easy to find and park, gorgeous beach across the road. Wished we had more time there! The kids also loved the pool.

Perfect Port

I'm always wary of pictures of the rooms on the Internet but I was so surprised the rooms were exactly the same as the pictures. We had a wonderful stay and will recommend to our friends and will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Port Macquarie.

friendly and accommodating staff, right next to the beach location, fantastic bbq facilities and the cleanness, wow, we loved it and will come back again! Oh the coastal walk was fantastic starting right from the apartment!
