LOVED you could walk out directly to beach. Walked out 5am to see the water. Walked to really good restaurants. The activities on the water were amazing. We are sorry we didn’t plan on more time here. They have kayaks for hotel gueats

Old school motel on beautiful beach 5 minutes out of town. Older but immaculate with hot tub, kayaks, right on the beach. Highly recommend

Beautiful property lovely overview and access rooms. Clean and updated rooms really cute hotel owner is very nice & shared tips for the town. Loved the stay.

Great place

It was our 1st visit to this part of NZ. We were very pleasantly surprised how nice Whitianga was. The longer we stayed, we were wishing we could stay longer. Our host and accommodation were excellent.

Beautiful quiet location with a wonderful empty beach. Easy walking access to Luke’s Kitchen, the area’s favorite. Mark was a great host!

Would highly recommended Beachfront Resort. It is right on the beach and the sunrise/sunset is beautiful. The property and room are clean and well kept. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book here again next time we are in New Zealand.

Beautiful location!

Way better than I ever expected. So relaxing to hear the surf at night. Very clean and well maintained, with every amenity needed!

The property is complete value for money. These are 6 appartments all with one queen and 2 single beds. Perfect for small families. Its right at the beach and the backyard is very well maintained with a trampoline and a spa tub & a barbecue area. We stayed 2 nights and have no complaints at all. The morning views were priceless.

We enjoyed our stay

It was very clean and well laid out. Looked modern and welcoming, and very spacious. We arrived late, but because we arranged ahead we were able to self check in. The courtyard overlooking the beach is also very nice. The WiFi works well and they also have Netflix which we watched in the evenings. The shower gel provided smells amazing too! My only small complaint is that the room was incredibly hot. Although there's a mini tower fan, it just moves the hot air around. We were on the ground floor so we were able to leave the sliding door open to cool the room down a bit, but at night it was hard to sleep. Also, the soundproofing between the ground and first floor could also be better, as we could hear some actual words from the upstairs guests. On the whole, this seems like a great property for families coming to Whitianga for a beach holiday, but would be awesome for couples if the rooms were more soundproof and had aircon.

Fantastic place to stay. Wonderful location, right on the beach. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lovely, comfy bed. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent ocean views

Loved having a spa under the stary night sky listening to the waves rolling in on the beach. BBQ and outdoor eating area are right on the beach front, awesome.

We loved, loved location right on beach! We could hear waves lapping from our room and saw amazing sunrises from our deck. Excellent bar, bbq and spa set in well landscaped gardens with magnificent view of sea. Helpful, friendly staff. We will return 💞

This place is right on the water which is great, but no air conditioning . It was so hot and dry I got all blocked up with a headache and couldn’t sleep. I would have to rate it as one of my worst stays.

We really enjoyed using the amenities offered at the property. It was too windy and chilly to use the kayaks, but we fully enjoyed using the barbecue and the outdoor hot tub. The room was very comfortable.

Amazing location!

Loved the view here and the sound of the waves. Great walk to town and what a great little town. Close to drive to hot water beach which was a highlight on our trip.

Very happy with our beach front and sea view room. Large spacious room with superb view of the sea. Definitely worth paying more for sea view. The ocean is so close you can hear the sound of the waves breaking on the beach which was very restful. This small hotel is in a quiet peaceful part of the town. Loved the newly renovated bathroom. After we had checked out, the owner contacted us to let us know we had left a phone charger in our room, and as she emailed us so promptly this meant that we could turn back and collect it, so we were very grateful for that. Thank you.

Fabulous stay at one of the few truly on the beach properties in the area. Clean comfortable room, helpful attentive hosts and unbeatable views and soothing sounds on the water.

Great place

The Beachfront Resort sits in a beautiful location. The view is breathtaking. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. All rooms have a private terrace and some have access to the well maintained garden. Restaurants are close by.

Beautiful view from the room, lovely grounds, and hot tub. Kayaks available to borrow and self service laundry onsite. Bed was the best we encountered on our 2 week journey of south and north islands. Kitchen was well appointed and the room, although we didn't require it was "accessible" by US standards, a rarity in NZ. We will return!

Fantastic hosts, would be perfect during summer. Location is flawless.

Lovely spot on the outskirts of town. Fully stocked with all sorts of beach gear, life vests, a trampoline, and a jacuzzi. The room was lovely, overlooking the adjacent beach. At night, it was very quiet. Rita and Bob run the operation very nicely, explained all the features and gave great advice.

Good Stay

Our stay was actually way better than we had anticipated! The service was great! Only complaint is there’s no AC/Heat controls.

Paul was the most relaxed and helpful man imaginable. If Whitianga does that... I want to be Paul

Amazing beachfront property with lots of extras!

We loved it here! Amazing quiet beach front location, literally right outside your door, with great views. Rooms are very nice, newly decorated, super clean, big bathroom and convenient little kitchen area. Lots of extras... the kids especially loved the trampoline and beach toys. Parents loved the hot tub. : ) Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Loved the place. Right on the beach, very clean, hot tub, lots of sea equipment like kayaks and bodyboards you can use for free, amazing sea view, kitchen well equipped, hosts very friendly and helpful. Will definitely not stay anywhere else.

We loved that the property was right on the beach. There was a beautiful outdoor area for us to enjoy with a bbq and ample seating to take in the gorgeous view. The room was comfortable and very clean. The Hotel owners and staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Just a perfect place to stay. The hosts are so friendly, the position is perfect and the rooms are great
