Great little place ideally located

Great location to station as well as centre. My room was delux and very nice. The view of mount Etna fantastic. Disappointed with the room service, better not to clean at all. All the cleaner did was to make the bed. Never cleaned anything, I forgot to flush toilet and found it the same. Dust on the floor, bed cover had stains on it, clean towels not given and no toiletries replaced. Vincenzo was excellent and gave me so much needed advice. Overall great place to stay but they need to replace the cleaner

The staff made this stay as welcoming as could be, invited me to breakfast every morning, and were constantly checking in on me. would recommend. Very good service. Thank you all!

Our room had it's own air conditioner and remote. However, it was super weak and didn't seem to really respond to our setting it lower or higher. During our first night, we were very hot despite leaving it on all night and setting it to 18°C (we normally sleep higher but it just wasn't cooling the room down so we tried setting it lower). There is a shared mini fridge that can be used by guests, but it is also set to a very low setting such that it's barely keeping fridge items cool (water left over night doesn't even have water condensation in the outdoor heat since it was so not cooled). You are not able to adjust the fridge temperate setting because they jammed a file clip into the dial such that it can't be moved. Otherwise, the hotel and stay was fine.

Mixed feelings

Arrangements were good prior to stay however l was told about a 15 euro extra as l was turning up after 8.30pm. I checked in the details and it is hidden under more info. I would not have stayed here if l had known this as it made it expensive for a solo traveller. However on the good side the room was large and the bed comfortable. On the negative side there was little choice for breakfast. No savory, just sweet cakes and fruit.

Located walking distance from many city attractions. Three blocks away from central bus station for intercity travel. Some rooms have a view of Etna. Host was very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area looks a bit dinghy but that should not put you off.

Great location and view

Located a few walkable blocks from the main street and next to the bus station, our room cane with a balcony that featured a magnificent sunset view of Mt. Etna. The room was spacious and the host accomodating and gracious. Walkable from train station. Would definitely use again.

A Wonderful View and Gracious Hosts

Our stay was excellent. The hosts are wonderful and the location is very close to the station. The area just outside the station can seem a little intimidating, especially at night, but we did feel safe at all times, and there are also supermarkets nearby. The view was also amazing! We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend.

Perfect base

Firstly, Vicenzo is such a warm and welcoming host, great communication throughout my stay and the run up to arriving. The room was huge, stunning view of etna from room and the breakfast every morning was a perfect mix to start the day right. I read a few previous comments about the area, but as a woman travelling alone I always felt safe. Yes there’s alot of rubbish around but hey - it’s everywhere in Sicily! I found it really handy being so near the bus and train station which are only a quick walk and I used alot for day trips to other towns (Noto and Taormina). This was a great base for exploring further out of Catania, I enjoyed my stay so much and can’t wait to return to see more of Sicily. I will be booking here again for sure. Grazie Mille Vicenzo

Comfortable except for heating.

The rooms are good. The service is good. The bed is comfortable and hot water is good. It was cold during our visit and the heat is inadequate, but the owner brought some space heaters. The building is not a normal BB type arrangement. It’s like a space in an office building converted. At night there is no attendance. Common area very cold and I’m not sure about adequate fire escape?!?

B&B in Catania

It was just for one night but was very comfortable. Very clean. The shower was amazing. Breakfast the next morning was very adequate. Liked it very much.

We enjoyed the apartment. Was clean and confortable.

The place is run by a father & son team - service was more than excellent. They insisted on giving me a lift to my next hotel as it was raining! Don’t be put off by the nasty 1960s block, once inside it’s been really well renovated.

I highly recommend this property for visitors to Catania! The father and son team who operate the B&B were both friendly and generous, and accommodated all of our travel requests. The location was convenient, only a short walk (~10 minutes) to many shops and restaurants. Our room had a great view of Mount Etna and was clean and spacious. At breakfast each morning there was a wide variety of food (cereal, fruit, muffins/cake, toast, etc.) and it was all excellent: a great way to start the day. The neighborhood looks a bit rough, but I always felt safe. Final word: an excellent home base for your visit to western Sicily!

Upgraded, Cody room with nice balcony heading toward the Aetna great view!an on-street parking spot, as well. Location is very central, Teatro Bellini is at about 10 minutes walking distance, with great restaurants in the area.

Would stay again

Great b&b lovely hostess immediate area not so good but only a few blocks walk to main tourist areas

The host was fantastic. She was excellent at recommending things to do and helped us book a tour to Mount Etna. Her english was fluent, as was her Spanish. She couldn’t do enough for you and gives you her mobile to WhatsApp if you ever have any problems. A lovely lady! It was a shame that the area that the B&B is situated in, is not so nice but was a good location to access the town centre and market etc.

God udsigt. Sløj morgenmad med god kaffe

Dejligt stor værelse med udsigt til Etna. Levede op til beskrivelsen af værelset. At de gamle cafe møbler og balkonen ikke lige er de nyeste og komfort er diskutabel, ændre ikke på at værelse og service giver valuta for prisen. Morgenmaden er italiensk = søde sager og uinteressant. Her mangler vi fra Norden lige lidt frisk brød, ost og måske et æg. Men Lidl ligger lige rundt om hjørnet og der er et fælles køleskab til at spæde op. Til gengæld er kaffen god.

Die Zimmer waren in Ordnung. Die Umgebung und das Gebäude als Ganzes sind hässlich.

The only positive about it, it was close to the city center, a 10 minute walk. I booked it for 3 adults (there was no mention that room was for 2 adults and a child) but the second bed was too small / short for an adult and the beds were not comfortable. The accommodation was in a somewhat old building with not a nice view.

Pleasant stay! I arrived early at the airport and the B&B let me check in right away (at 11 in the morning) - so kind! The only negative comment I have is the use of strongly scented cleaning products - I guess that’s not for everyone and left me with a headache.

Confortable

Un peu surpris en arrivant de sa situation géographique nous cherchions un vrai hôtel comme en France , mais bien accueilli chambre agréable , propre , salle du petit déjeuner agréable mais une sensation d enfermement ! Merci de nous avoir donner la Possibilité de laisser nos bagages afin de visiter la ville avant le départ à l aéroport !

B&B con arredamento essenziale, moderno e funzionale, buona colazione (no salato), da sottolineare la cordialità e disponibilità dei proprietari. Posizione a 2 passi da Stesicoro, comodissima per raggiungere la stazione ferroviaria e dei bus (a 500 metri), fermata dell'autobus da/per aeroporto a meno di 100 metri. A 2 minuti a piedi da 3 supermercati e dal mercato di piazza Carlo Alberto.

Ho trovato una piacevole sorpresa, la stanza è comodissima e spaziosa, la pulizia impeccabile e l'Host Vincenzo molto gentile e disponibile Quando tornerò a Catania sarà certamente il mio riferimento

Saubere Unterkunft

Sehr gemütliche, liebevolle, saubere Unterkunft. Modern eingerichtet. Typisch italienisches Frühstück. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft hat alles was man für ein paar Tage in Catania braucht und liegt fussfläufig gut zur Altstadt. Kleines Manko: wir hatten das Zimmer direkt am Frühstücksraum, und wurden morgens leider durch die Lautstärke geweckt. Aber meckern auf hohem Niveau. Ansonsten ist es sehr ruhig!

Geweldige locatie met balkon en uitzicht op de Etna.

Wir hatten in dem B&B einen schönen Aufenthalt in Catania. Unser Zimmer hatte einen kleinen Balkon mit Etnablick, das war unser Highlight. Zu Beginn waren wir etwas über Verunsichert aufgrund des Hauses, doch zum Glück ist der Hist schon vor der Reise mit uns in Kontakt getreten. Die Lage war super, wir waren schnell bei Bus und Bahn, aber genauso schnell im Stadtkern. Das Frühstück war etwas weniger, aber wen man eh nicht viel frühstückt okay. Für kurze Aufenthalte (3 Nächte bei uns) war es echt top :).

Una buona esperienza

Avevo dovuto trovare in breve tempo un posto in cui andare a dormire che fosse vicino al tribunale di Catania e questo sembrava abbastanza vicino. Francamente non ero molto ottimista su quello che avrei trovato, perché non avevo avuto molto tempo per scegliere. Invece mi sono trovato bene. Il proprietario del B&B è un uomo simpaticissimo e molto cordiale che mi ha subito messo a mio agio. La stanza era accogliente e pulitissima, l'aria condizionata funzionava benissimo e la mattina ho fatto una buona colazione. Credo proprio che ci tornerò alla prossima occasione.

Camera nuova, dotata di tutti i confort. Bagno altrettanto nuovo è comodo. Meravigliosa la vista su Catania con Etna sullo sfondo. Colazione varia e abbondante. Facile trovare parcheggio in zona e comoda per gli spostamenti. Proprietario attento e gentile. Consigliato.

La stanza era sempre pulita e ordinata, ma gli asciugamani non li anno mai cambiati e questo non mi piace. Lo sapevo perché uno delli asciugamani aveva una marca gialla e era rimasta sempre li.

Definitely very nice place!

The staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean - with Etna view. Everyday cleaning. Breakfasts was nice: caffe or tea, little cakes, juices, jams, bread, cheese, hams. Great location - very near all attractions and central railway station. Definitely recommend it.

Top in Catania

Cortesia, disponibilità anche a orario tardo, gran pulizia, ottimo arredo, tutto, tutto davvero super. Centralissimo ottimo per aeroporto, ci si arriva in 15 min di giorno e meno di notte. Valeria e davvero un ottima ospite!

お洒落なB&B

事前に到着時刻のやり取りをしてあったが、着いても誰もいなかった。 部屋はお洒落でキレイだし、すぐ近くでマーケットが開かれていて楽しめたのがよかった。

Muy cerca de los lugares de interés, máximo 15-20min a pie. Personal muy agradable.

Great value for money

Had a nice room, with a fantastic balcony with view of Etna. The neighbourhood is a little scruffy-looking, but the facilities and rooms make up for that. Only other comment is that the breakfast is very simple and plain. Nonetheless, great value for money!

No está centrico, zona insegura.

Anulamos la reserva, de todos modos, NO está en el centro, se subica en una zona insegura y fea. Nada atrayente.

Soprattutto strategico!

La mia esperienza c/o questa struttura è stata tutta positiva, posizione strategica, bella camera confortevole ,pulizie giornaliere una buona colazione e soprattutto l'accoglienza e l'assistenza della sig.na Valeria che ha soddisfatto ogni nostra richiesta con molta gentilezza e professionalità.Inoltre ci tengo a dire che quello che avevo visto sul sito in merito alla struttura era tutto reale....arredamenti moderni e lenzuola nuove! L'unica nota stonata ma irrilevante per il B&B e che il palazzo e proprio ai margini di una zona diciamo un pò abbandonata....però nessun problema succede cosi in tutte le grandi città. Lo consiglio a tutti!

친절한 호스트

동네 자체 분위기가 무섭지만 딱 들어서는 순간 사진과 같았어요. 저희방은 에티나 화산 전망이여서 아침에 그 전망을 보는거 또한 너무나도 좋았어요. 호스트는 너무나도 친절해서 다음번에 방문시 또 오고 싶더라고요. 근데 건물 6층이라는 표시가 주소나..호텔정보에 있었으면 좋았을텐데 그런 정보가 없어서 조금 아쉬웠어요. 건물 1층에서 기웃기웃 하니 그 건물 주민이 B&B 온것이냐고 물어봐 맞다고 하니 6층이라고 안내해 겨우 찾아갈수 있었어요 벨 누른곳에 표시가 되어 있긴하지만 밤늦은 시간에 찾아갈땐 찾기가 쉽지가 않더라고요. 처음 찾기 힘듯거 빼고는 다 좋았어요

Мини-отель этот - это переоборудованное офисное помещение или бывшая квартира. Рядом на этаже только офисы. 6й этаж. В лифт могут попасть только 2 человека, третий уже не поместится. Этажом выше регулярно кто-то топал. Уборка раз в 2 дня. На деле не было ни разу. Может надо куда-то уходить, чтобы она была. Цена высокая. Я брал по акции было на 25% меньше, но за исключением этого цена всегда высокая, что неадекватно. Шкафа нет вообще, а холодильник не в номере, а на общей кухне. Номеров 5, минимум 3 номера явно пустовали. Может в сезон ситуация будет другая.

Что еще нужно улучшить

Пакетики с шампунем не так просто открыть. Приходилось ножницами их открывать. Шкафа для одежды просто нет. Холодильник внешний, то есть не в номере. Отличная слышимость в номере из общего холла, где завтрак проходит. Даже неудобно как-то, когда все слышно. Завтрак базовый.

Многовато недостатков

В один вечер лифт заклинило и он не работал, пришлось подниматься по лестнице (на 6й этаж). Один раз не удавалось закрыть ставни на окне справа. Приходилось перезагружать роутер wi-fi, а он расположен высоко - непродуманно сделано. Выезд до 10:30 тоже неудобный. Недалеко вокзал и автобусная остановка, куда угодно можно уехать. На 2 тысячи норм, за 3 - слишком много недостатков.
