Really great, the only thing I would have to say is the room smell was really strong in chemicals
Excellent in most ways.
I enjoyed the excellent, friendly service. Very clean, efficient hotel. Good bathroom, adequate bedroom. Good breakfast. Good price. Only let down was that i didnt find the bed too comfortable.
I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Lorenzo and staff were welcoming, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the area and how to get around. The B&B has great location to the bus and train station that take you to Saint Peter’s, Piazza Venetia where you can walk to the Colusseum, Trevi Fountain, etc. Two doors down from the hotel there is a laundromat!which we were so excited to have found- we returned to the USA with no dirty laundry. I would recommend B&B Tratesvere; clean, modern, accessible, staff friendly and helpful!
The property was ok. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was pretty simple. Elevators were sketchy. No toiletries besides soap. No kettle in the room and all the coffee machines were not working except at the paid breakfast.
Not the greatest part of Rome
Very inconvenient location, it’s far away from everything the only thing that is near it is the train station. However the room are very spacious and clean and staff is very nice. The hotel itself was great just didn’t like how far from everything it was
The hotel itself was fairly basic in its facilities. The staff were great - in particular Jerry who was so helpful and kind and was genuinely thoughtful. He really did make the place feel homely. The breakfast was very good too. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk into the exciting part of Trastevere and we walked to the Colloseum in 40 minutes. All in all, a pretty good base!
Convenient part of Roma
Great place to stay close to train station
We had been staying at Trastevere Paper Suites, but somehow shorted ourselves a night. We were able to book B&B Hotel Roma Trastevere which is around the corner. The room was quiet. I slept well and the shower was hot. The staff was also friendly. However, the rooms are quite small and the shower needed some cleaning attention, but overall, it was a good stay for a night. I wouldn't want to hang out in the room too much, so it worked out.
Clean, Quiet, and worth the price.
The Queen bed was to large for the small room. Tough to navigate ones way to the bathroom due to cramped quarters. Overall clean, quiet, and price was good.
I was given a handicapped room that was not requested. The room was not clean as rooms should usually be, and parts of bathroom were falling apart. Disappointed for sure.
It was good.
Everything was great. Rooms were small to my liking. Steets could use some cleaning in Rome. But overal it was a good hotel for tre area.
Not great
L’hôtel mérite plus que 5 étoiles! L’emplacement, le petit-déjeuner, le confort et le personnel ont été à l’hauteur de toutes les attentes! Je le recommande fortement!
Great spot
I had a delightful stay, clean and confrontational room, nice and quiet.
Pleasant Staff, good location. Should have better breakfast option
Great location and convenient location
Excellent location and very friendly staff. The room was what we needed for the price. Our only issue was the bathroom smelled very damp and mouldy due to lack of ventilation. It was manageable for two nights, but would have been uncomfortable for any longer. Staff were very helpful in both Italian and English. We were able to leave our luggage on our final day after we checked out. Facilities were basic but what we needed.
.
Very Friendly and accommodating staff. Great rooms and location. 12pm checkout
It is a chain of hotels where the price-quality ratio is very good, the surrounding area is not the best, but it is safe, the attention of the staff is excellent, very warm, diligent, attentive, polite.
Check in was a challenge . staff did not speak English.
Excellent location - clean quite And spacious room
B&B Hotel Roma Trastevere - My Latest Stay
I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions, simply because it suits my needs. Staff service, cleanliness and it's location are excellent. Also, the double rooms are very spacious. Not the most soundproof of hotels, I've stayed at but I found it tolerable. Amenities may be limited but there are stores in either direction of the hotel, which cater for most needs. Overall, it was another pleasing experience at this b&b hotel.
I chose this hotel because it was close to my daughter's apartment. It was very convenient for access to bus/tram. The room was very comfortable & clean. We appreciated the smart TV and the free breakfast was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel!
...
Everything was excellent and the staff was so very helpful with everything. The location is excellent, especially if you arrive by train to Trastevere station, and there is a tram stop right outside. But the staff and service are the best. One of the best craft beer pubs in Rone is right across the street @ Luppolo Station.
This modern hotel was very comfortable, its size surprised me with so many rooms. Really enjoyed my stay here.
Good value for money. Great location. Excellent staff
Warm atmosphere, nice room. Only problem was that our sink was clogged. Apart from that everything else was really good.
The hotel was within a 1 mile walking distance from Trastevere dining and shopping and that was nice. The hotel room’s bathroom was inadequate. The shower was very small and the drain surface was sharp and uncomfortable when stepping on it. There was nowhere to place shampoo or soap within the shower. The room was spacious. The hotel had to remake the bed to accommodate the bed size we reserved after we arrived in our room and the safe did not work until the hotel staff was called to fix it by replaceming the batteries.
The relation price/quality is not right here. The rooms don't have quality, confort, light. The mattress and pillow are terrible!! The location is not bad...
Close to Trastevere train station, many restaurants and food stalls nearby, easy access to rest of Rome as tram is right outside. Trastevere market is 3 blocks away, worth a stop. Suprisingly quiet at night for sleeping for being in Rome.
Staff was so warm and friendly and truly a highlight of my stay. Always greeting us with a lively “buon giorno” each morning. Tasty breakfast, clean bedroom, good location near tram stop. Would stay here again!
Nice Full service kitchen, Great location, Patio, great place,
This hotel is clean, staff are very friendly I will recommend this hotel to someone else
Had room facing the street it was very noisy. Second stay was not facing street and was very quiet They need to address the noise issue if your room faces the street Showers are a bit small and shower curtain did not reach floor and water soaked the floor Beds were great and pillows too Good value for the money easy to get on Tram to city center
The staff, particular Andrea, the young lady at the front desk was soo very pleasant, upbeat, helpful.. great location, close to all the historic sites. Bus, Trolley station right across tge street to go to historic sites like the Colliseum, etc and in about a mile, or a 20 minute walk U are in the midst of it all. I would definately repeat visit.
The rooms were very clean and it was gray that breakfast was offered. Easy access to public transportation.
Great location, clean room, fast wifi friendly staff
Friendly and accommodating
Staff was nice nice and helpful
noisy rooms on the road side of Viale Trastevere. Better ask for rear side rooms
Bathroom needs repair for water leak from the shower area. Clean room and nice staff. Convenient location.
Clean and comfortable. Desk staff were very helpful Noisey if on the street. Poor lighting in room, was staying for work related and not good for evening reading Rooms showing their age
Close to many trattoria restaurants, plus tram and train few steps out door.
Nice hotel
The hotel is clean and a tram stop is a front of the hotel five stop to Rome the bed in room 427 is noise a good pub a cross the street
Best hotel I've stayed at for a long time
Great location and service clean room
Nice hotel, clean and super staff
The hotel is very close to the main trastevere area where you can eat and dine for close. A five min walk from the Roma trastevere train line. Therefore you can get to and from the airport Fiumicino very easily and stress free. It take about 30 min door to door. The hotel is nicely decorated and modern, clean and front staff was extremely friendly and helpful with our questions about getting around in Rome. Our shower was so small it was even hard to wash myself but that would be my only complaint
In the burbs
Clean, modern place in ok neighborhood. Close to train and buses. Ok restaurants. 2 miles from Vatican. Biggest complaint really small l- shaped room.
Great location - easy to get to the airport from. Lots of interesting places within walking distance. Great staff. For the price, a great choice.
Great place.
Close to train station. Price was right. Continental breakfast was great.
Cozy hotel with great location
The hotel is conveniently located and affordable. The rooms are cleaned regularly and the staff is polite and helpful.
Easy to access B and B
Mixed issues here. Staff friendly...location is good for nearby Trastevere. Shower was no good...too small with curtain against user causing floor floods. Got stuck in lift with another couple. Limited air. Not a nice experience but staff apologised ..20 mins then I broke us out of lift...a clean basic b and b that does whats required.
We didn’t not feel safe walking in the area of the hotel and the accommodations had a school dorm feeling. We did not feel this was a three star property and were disappointed overall.
Great
Right by the tram stop
Clean, secure & modern hotel right by the tram stop. Trams directly to Piazza Venezia & The Colosseum. Also 5 minutes walk from Trastevere train station, which has direct trains to & from the airport.
Excellent Place in Rome
We arrived exhausted after a redeye flight, and the gentleman at the front desk helped us check-in and get to our room very early. It made an enormous difference, and we're grateful for the incredibly early check-in. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean, and the shower had excellent water pressure. We would definitely return to this hotel!
Great value for the location
The Trastevere area was a great discovery and this hotel is located close to the many restaurants and shops. If you’re a walker it’s also great but if not it’s on both bus and tram routes and about a 5minutes walk to the main train line into the city or to the airport.
Exceptional customer service
Room was comfortable and cozy. I would highly recommend to my friends. Thank you, we enjoyed the stay.
Good location
Located within walking distance of the sites but also good as there is a tram if you want a change from walking . Rooms were clean and breakfast was okay . All in all we found this hotel suited our needs
Cheap and cheerful, in a good location
The hotel doesn't have much of a frontage but it is actually quite large. The common areas are bright and "fun" and most of the rooms are massive (ours was, and the others looked that way too). The bathroom was a bit old and tired looking, and the furniture is very basic, but in this price category it's not unexpected. The location is great, Trastevere is a great area, with a tram stop just outside the hotel. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay. Also just need to mention that the staff were great, especially Sylvia. There was an issue with our booking where we had ended up being booked in twice, and it wasn't the hotel's fault, but they were very helpful and we weren't out of pocket.
wow roma
guisseppe very helpful we were given early check in wifi excellent big spacious room air con 2 supermarkets around the corner and lots of mini markets 5 mins walk open till late close to trastevere train station trams to colliseum and pantheon right outside hotel e1.20 per trip we originally booked like usual for 1 night to check out the hotel and stayed for 5 nights that should tell you something
Full Commitment to Customer Service
My wife and I gave up free accommodations in Rome to stay in a hotel with air conditioning. Unfortunately, the air conditioner broke down before our arrival. Despite every effort to repair it during a National holiday, they were unable to provide us with air. However, after asking for half of what we paid for two nights, BBRome gave us a FULL refund plus free breakfast on both days. My wife and I are grateful for this full commitment to customer service. Other than this unfortunate happenstance, you cannot ask for anything more from this amazing little hotel conveniently located with a bus stop just outside the front door and the train to Fiumicino only 500m away. My wife and I highly recommend this hotel for its great value. You can't ask for anything more at this price!!
Clean and Modern Hotel
Hotel was very modern and clean. Rooms were large and beds were comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Staff was even accommodating when a group of young adults were loud and knocking on other guests doors. Breakfast was fair and the food was always fresh. Hotel is conveniently located near Roma Trastavere train station.
Excellent price on transport
Brand spanking new and spotless for great price. Right on the very handy 8 tram that gets you where you need to go. Lovely staff, especially Giuseppe, who couldn't be more helpful. Well located in trendy Trastevere with loads of restaurants nearby. Little bit tram noisy if you're at the front. Brekkie well priced and great if you like sweet things. Only complaint is the powdered eggs are woeful but hey it's only €7 brekkie.
Great hotel ideally situated for sightseeing
Really pleased with the B and B Roma Trastevere Hotel - hotel is 5 mins from Trastevere Station and there is a bus stop and tram stop immediately outside. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The bed was possibly the most comfortable I have ever sleep in in a hotel!!
Very nice hotel, good area with excellent transport links
Great hotel near train station
Great hotel and room VERY close to the train station in Trastevere. The location was perfect for our early train ride to the airport early in the morning. Close enough to all the local restaurants and bars in Trastevere and very convenient to the train station.
Resonable price
It was good except for the bed it was uncomfort
Excellent value comfortable hotel and good situati
Comfortable stay and good price/ staff very helpful and efficient. room and shower very good and clean. great place to stay with recommended nearby restaurants and cafes again excellent and good value. very close to train station direct from F Airport and tram and bus links to the city sights. Travel passes a good idea. thanks very much to the staff for an excellent trip.
Hotel is okay
The room is okay. There was no fridge in my room, which sucks. The tv was nice and the bed was okay. But during my stay, the bathroom smell so bad, I don't know what it is. Which made me not want to use the bathroom often. That is only the bad side about the hotel room.
Room felt like a closet, we heard every sound from the streets
Fantastic.
Great! Walking distance to a laundromat and grocery store, optional breakfast (for a fee) which is very handy for some days of a trip, secure room locks and super close to a main train station for Rome's 3 Lines (Trastevere) and also infront of the metro.
Low cost connection
It was good value and the staff were wonderful. The only drawback was the thin walls.
Noisy and Dirty
The property was not as portayed online. Very dirty and one of the noisiest hotels I've ever stayed in. we purposely stayed away from the tourist areas so as to avoid noise. Well unfortunately this hotel is right next door to a school and has thin walls, so every morning we were woken up by children screaming and running up and down stairs. Not a good choice for a visit to Rome.. Stay somewhere else in Trastevere.
An affordable, excellent quality 3 star option with an excellent location - 400 metres from Roma Trastevere train station (with good connections to the airport) and a short tram ride to the heart of Trastevere. Also easy to get to the ancient sites and Vatican.
Very clean, quiet hotel
Room was small but very clean and had all basic requirements. Free wifi- good speed and connectivity. Quiet location but close to Stazione Trastevere and on tram route into centre
Neat hotel in a cool part of Rome
My cousin and I stayed in this hotel for one night in Rome and it was a delight. It looks really small from the outside, but it's pretty big. Our room was a good size (we had 2 twin beds), and the beds were very comfortable (big plus after running around all day in Rome). Air conditioning, wi-fi, all worked great. I really loved the location - it's away from the insanity of central Rome, and very accessible from Termini Station via the H bus (get off one stop before the Trastevere station). There's also a tram that's accessible from Piazza Venezia, incredibly efficient location for getting into the city to see the main sights. But if you're up for it, explore the local neighborhood, it's in a neat location worth checking out.
Great staff
The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean. It was a bit small but it worked. The shower was small and tough to shower in. The room had ac. Safe code access to each room door. Great neighborhood and easy to get everywhere.
Nice hotel, close to transportation.
Moderately priced hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. The evening clerk was most pleasant and helpful.
You won't regret staying here
This place could not be more convenient! The trolley stop is right outside of the hotel and will take you right to the center of everything. One of the other stops on the line is belli which is perfect for dinner and drinks after a long day of monument sightseeing. On our first day we arrived from fiumincino via the train station and walked to the hotel because it was cheaper and actually very simple since it was up the street. The neighborhood looks worse than it is and we had no issues. Don't be alarmed, there are a lot of tourists and English speaking people everywhere. You will be fine. The hotel is nice , very college dorm -like on the outside but the rooms have everything you need.
unfortunate experience
On my way to hotel, I got robbed outside the Roma Trastevere station nearby. Lost computer, cell phone, passport and some cash. Police took more than 10 minutes to show up and just took me to station, asked me to fill out a report and stamp it, and called U.S. embassy for information about getting an emergency passport, then sent me away without letting me to borrow a phone to make a call--even when I offered to pay. So the hotel's neighborhood, not even in crowded tourist areas, is apparently not as safe as it appears. But I suppose the whole Rome (or Southern Europe touristic cities) is the same, with lots of thefts and robbery. (When I went to U.S. Consulate for passport on April 26, there were already 8 Americans in line, and that's before 8am). The hotel itself is OK. Very narrow and often crowded entrance area where the single receptionist is. Breakfast is expensive and not very good, for a B&B hotel. Streetside rooms have windows and view, but very noisy during the nights. The night before my return to U.S. I asked for transportation arrangement to airport, but was told it was too late--arrangements must be made earlier than the night before.
this was a wonderful, clean, comfortable hotel at a reasonable price. would highly recommend to others. we opted not to have breakfast here so i can't comment on it but the room was lovely. bed very comfortable.
It was nice hotel with spacious rooms. Location of the hotel is a plus point as there are restaurants near by and also a taxi stand just 500 meters away. Staff were very helpful. I just have a complain with the vending machine it sometimes doesn't work and the cups for tea and coffee are small. They should include few more items for breakfast and should also provide electric kettle in the rooms. But at the end of the day it is a value for money hotel. Would surely recommend others.
Solid average hotel
Not a bad hotel. It's right off the train that connects you to the airport. I wouldn't list this on Rome's hotspots of things to do, but there's a cool little market across the bridge and you can walk to that big pyramid thing. The rooms are pretty big and clean. The staff was pretty nice, as well. Overall, not a bad place to hang your hat for the night.
value for money in a great location
it's a clean, basic, value for money hotel with great size room in a good location. The number 8 tram which leaves from virtually outside the hotel takes you straight to Piazza Venezia (and terminates there) which is a great point to start exploring the historic sites. There are a bunch of restaurants about 15 minutes walk away on the western side of via della lungaretta (there is also a stop for the number 8 tram if you can't possibly walk any more). It's also only about 400 metres from Trastevere train station which has a direct connection to Roma Termini. The coffee shop just outside the station is highly recommended. All in all we were very satisfied with our stay.
Well located, quiet
Overall very good. Allowed us early checkin. Very pleasant staff
trastevere area has a nice character and is very welcoming compared to staying in other parts of rome that may feel more busy and touristy. hotel staff and facilities are great for the price you pay. rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels and sheets etc. rooms with air con. geat location for transport links in a very friendly district of rome. walking distance of 5 minutes to trastevere station that links you to st. peters and airport stations etc. tram and bus stops just outside. great cafes and local restaurants. overall a great base to explore rome from.
Great value
Terrific value, great location & friendly staff. Loved my stay & would definitely return
Very nice hotel
Excellent hotel, a little to the south of the main Trastevere area but much quieter. Train station 5 minutes away and bus/trams on road outside to main tourist areas. Hotel was very clean and modern, just like the photos online. We had a massive family room with air conditioning and TV. Wifi was very weak. Reception were helpful and spoke English. Didn't try the breakfast in the hotel as it was far cheaper to go to the Cafe Number One, a few doors away for a freshly baked croissant and coffee every morning. A great base for seeing Rome and would stay there again.
Good hotel for value paid
close to main train station which comes to/from airport room is clean and modern
Not good
No shower curtains. Placed toilet paper too far from where we sit so very uncomfortable. Location is not bad.
The room and hotel were just as expected, very clean with polite and professional staff. The hotel is a short walk from both the train station and the heart of Trastevere which was a great feature. The air conditioning was much appreciated! The wifi was probably the only downside, as it was very slow and often was difficult to get to log in.
The fourth stay here.
The hotel is perhaps not in the best area of Rome but I have never had any problems. It's clean and reasonably comfortable. The staff are bi lingual and try please
Reasonable priced hotel with easy access
Good price for level of hotel, newly built with good access ( by tram 8 ) to central Rome and airport by 8 min walk to transvera railway station and then express train. Try the Loopollo railway cafe across the road, makes a break in endless pizzas and pasta. Sunday flea market 5 mins walk towards town is excellent. Pity the internet wasn't faster and the desk staff more talkative, but overall good hotel, recommended.
Comfortable location
Nothing's really wrong about this hotel, but for the price it takes, it could have been more comfortable (basic bed, funny arrangement of furniture, crowded shower). Location in nice: next to train station, walking distance (10-15min.) from the fun places of Trastevere. Breakfast doesn't worth the 8 EU (not even the 5 EU of the weekends). It's a fine hostel with a price that fits a decent city hotel.

It was amazing Just need to ensure room s are deodorised
