If you take a water taxi to San Angelo, the apartment is a 3 min walk from there. Thats super convenient! There are also number of well stocked grocery stores within a short walking distance. Good if you are on a tighter budget.

I recently stayed here with my family of five, and we had a wonderful experience. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the Rialto and not far from San Marco Square, making it easy to explore numerous shops and dining options nearby. The place felt more like an apartment complex, which suited us perfectly! Our room was clean and well-equipped. The kids loved their time here, and we would definitely choose to stay again. The check-in and check-out processes were hassle-free, and the proximity to the train station made it convenient; it took us about 20 minutes to get back to the station via Line 2.

Value for money property

The apartment was very clean, bright and comfortable! Walking distance from main turistic sites, easy transportation, very conviniente!

Andrea was very welcoming, and prompt with his responses through WhatsApp. The place has a very cool vibe with lots of artwork, and it is in a great location. It is a very clean and homey B&B. Breakfast has decent variety of food. We would recommend this place for an affordable way to experience Venice.

Loved the Apartment & Definitely Recommend it

I loved this apartment and would definitely stay again when I go back to Venice. It was ideally located by the Ferry, which is extremely convenient when traveling with lots of luggage/bags. It was also centrally located close to touristy destinations AND not so tourist destinations. This was great because sometimes we wanted to get away from large crowds. Though the exterior isn’t “beautiful”, don’t judge a book by its cover. The interior was very nice, clean, comfortable, and spacious. My senior parents stayed in the master bedroom, my son slept in the second bedroom that had a twin sized bed and I slept in the queen sized sofa bed in the family room. The kitchen was also specious AND it had a washing machine that came in super handy for us because we had already been in other parts of Italy for a week. Though no dryer, I found it almost comforting and cute that I had to hang my clothes. lol. It makes you appreciate the many conveniences at home (US for us). Andrea, the host, was the best!!! Very helpful, communicative, response and just friendly and charismatic. I liked that he met us and brought us to the place personally. He showed us the apartment and answered all of our questions. All in all, I loved everything about this place and would definitely recommend it. And this comes from someone that likes to stay at nice upscale hotels.

Amazing Location, Great Host, Lovely Accomodation

My husband, 9 and 10-year-old daughters and I loved staying at the B&B Fortuny. It is a very short walk from the water bus stop which makes it an easy journey to and from the Marco Polo Airport. Andrea sent clear and detailed instructions on how to get there. He gave us a friendly welcome when we arrived even helping to carry our luggage up the stairs. If he's not going to be there when you arrive he again sends detailed instructions. We stayed in the mirror apartment which was fantastic. It was very spacious. It was fun to open the windows in the morning and listen to the people walking by. It has a great atmosphere. It was no problem to store our bags after check out so that we could enjoy our last day in Venice. I highly recommend it.

Host andrea was fabulous. Is knowledgeable native of Venice. Very pleasant walk with lots of window shopping on the way to saint marks. Less than five minutes to Is water bus. 500 feet from a local cafe. And wonderful. Plaza with multiple restaurants. Highly recommended.. Third trip to venice.

This apartment is in the historic area on the 2nd floor no elevator its nice and clean but the AC is weak during heat wave.

Andrea is a great host. The property is very central and clean. I had the appartement for 5 people. The sofabed is not so nice to sleep on. It was hard and makes a lot of noise. But since you would be so tired of walking, you will eventually fall asleep. If I'm back in Venice I will most definitely stay again at B&B Fortuny.

Great Stay in Venice

On arrival Andrea gave us a map and went through in detail all the highlights of the area along with some restaurant recommendations. Very central location, easy to walk everywhere. Room very clean with nice decor and a safe. A well stocked self service breakfast. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting Venice stays here and would recommend anyone staying here to visit La Colombina for a meal.

Truly, the best

Can't say enough great things about B&B Fortuny— Andrea the owner is so friendly, communicative, helpful and kind. My room was spacious, perfectly priced, SO CLEAN (a rarity for Venice) and wonderfully located. I plan to stay here whenever I go to Venice from now on.

Good accommodation for Family

Andrea was very helpful. Guided us well on the locations to visit in Venice. Had very good understanding of the local transport. Accommodation is modern, clean and close to local transport. Supermarkets are just a few minutes walk. Would have been great if the accommodation had a microwave.

Great Stay

We had the most amazing stay here for 2 nights. The room was lovely, location was perfect (close to everything) and the host was lovely. Breakfast (of champions) included was the icing on the cake - great selection including pastries and cold meats. We will, without a doubt, be staying here again for our next trip to the beautiful city of Venice!

Absolutely amazing experience! Me and my wife travelled Europe for 30 days last September for our honeymoon and our experience was unbeatable at B&B Fortuny. The owner Andrea takes a lot of pride in this place and it was super clean and in a perfect location. He takes the time to meet with each guest to answer any questions and personally recommends locations and day trips while drawing this all in a map. We are clean freaks and we stayed in only 4 and 5 star luxury hotels on our trip and in none of them we felt more comfortable and were as clean as BnB Fortuny. Good stay at B&B

B&B was centrally located and getting in and out was very easy walking or using the boat. Communication was good with directions and how to get in send in advance. We had the room on the 3 rd floor, it was small but recently refurbished and had all the amenities. Breakfast was pretty basic, boiled eggs, cold cuts, cheese and some pastries.

Clean, spacious suite, tasteful design. Close to everything. I only wish we had time to stay there longer.

Amazing stay

This was the first apartment we have stayed in, typically always hotels. The apartment was perfect, two separate rooms, comfortable beds, very clean, and all the comforts of what you would expect to be in an apartment. Location was only 10 minute walk to St Marks, and easy access to the rest of Venice, we didn’t need to take a water taxi.

Lovely little B&B

Lovely B&B in a great location, close to Vaporetto and Grande Canal attractions. Really comfortable bed, exceptionally clean and a great breakfast of cold meats, cheeses, bread, juice, yoghurts etc. Owner is very helpful and able to recommend places to see and eat.

Gem apartment in Venice

Great apartment, great location, service and support from Andrea was fantastic, everything we were looking for in Venice. Apartment was very clean, had all the little amenities that make a stay easier, plus everything worked, which did not happen in other apartment rentals across Italy. We stayed in a two-bedroom unit, and given our experience with Andrea, we have already suggested his property to two other groups traveling to Venice this summer. I wish our rentals in Florence, Rome and Milan had been as positive as B&B Fortuny.

B+b Fortuny was great. Andrea our host was very helpful. If I ever go back to Venice, and I really hope that I do, I will stay there again. Easy walk to all the major sites in Venice and lots of great restaurants.

We had a booking issue but the owner moved us to a 2 bedroom nearby. I can’t say anything about the B&B but the apartment was beautiful and very clean. We slept like newborns. The staff is wonderful. We want to go back for a longer stay!

spotlessly clean

Spotlessly clean and very well located close to water bus Only complaint was the mosquitos they were really bad even in September We couldn’t open the lovely shuttered windows because of the mozzies A mosquito net would have been great. Even with the windows closed we were swatting mosquitos for most of the night. There isn’t a lift so a number of stairs to deal with to gain entry, Andrea, the host helped with that but failed to tell us about the mosquitos so we opened the windows, Big Mistake

Perfect location to explore Venice

Great place to stay. Andrea gave us lots of useful advice about where to visit and travel options which saved us a lot of time. All freshly decorated and bed very comfy. Good selection of food and beverages at breakfast. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and will definitely stay here when we go back to Venice.

From the moment we said hello to the last goodbye, Andrea made my wife and I feel at home and welcome! The B&B was beautiful, comfortable, tastefully decorated and extremely clean. The breakfast was outstanding and started the day off on the right foot. With advice from Andrea we were prepared to discover Venice. A few minutes walk from the water taxi, we were within reach of every sight to see and experience. Slept sound and comfortably. Thanks Andrea!

The hotel sits on a quite canal. The view is lovely although no gondolas are floating by. It is very accessible to both the San Angelo and San Samuele boat stops. There is a small square not too far away with a lovely cafe for dinner. The staff was very accommodating to us upon our early arrival. The beds and pillows are very comfortable.

Immediately immersed into Venice. Andrea provided precise directions to the B&B. We arrived and were pleased to find this jewel of a property tucked away on a cozy little courtyard right in the heart of this amazing city. Andrea provided us with a map of Venice and proceeded to mark the map with all of the must see locations. This “tour of Venice” was perfectly tailored to our interests and the time available. The interior of the B&B is immaculate and beautifully done. The room was perfect and we enjoyed a very restful nights sleep after wandering the canals and plazas until late in the evening. If you can find an open room in B&B Fortuny, reserve it immediately!

First we were trying to sleep having arrived late the night before when the maid came to clean the room. We advised her we were sleeping but she would not take no for an answer and came in to clean anyway. She was nice but persistent. We had two bedrooms and one bedroom had no air conditioning whatsoever. Tried opening the window and that didn't cool the room down. It only added mosquitoes. Ended up sleeping on the floor of the other bedroom each night because it HAD air conditioning.

Nice place to stay in Venice

We stayed in one of the apartments for 5 nights. It was great. We then moved to a room in the B&B. Small, but nice too. Good location as well very close to the Saint Angelo water station to pick up a ride to and from the airport or to the train station, etc. Also, close to all the squares and things to see in Venice. The owner Andrea was very nice and accomodating.

Design Apartment

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment that is a minute away from the actual B&B. The apartment is recently decorated and very clean. It has all the amenities as the normal flat, and is very cozy. We loved staying there and it felt like home away from home. Host Andrea is very welcoming and friendly. He has given us very useful guidance on arrival which helped us to move around Venice easily. We would definitely stay there again if we happen to visit Venice in future.

Great Location

Very pretty B&B located near San Marco and many other attractions. Also near a vaporetto stop & the airport water taxi (alilaguna). The proprietor/owner was extremely accommodating. Will stay here on our next trip.

Beautiful

Beautiful boutique B&B. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and the host is simply amazing. He helped us with reservations and transportation and gave great advice on what to do.

We stayed one night at B&B Fortuny. We immediately felt welcomed. The room was bright and clean. Breakfast had a good assortment of fresh food to choose from. We had a great experience, would definitely recommend it to friends and family and stay there anytime we go back to Venice.

Great little gem in Venice

We had a great stay at this fantastic hotel. Andrea (the owner) communicated with us before arriving to arrange for our arrival and sent us a map for getting to the hotel! (Use it because GMaps is a bit unreliable due to the narrow alleys). The hotel and room is very clean, location is superb, on the nicer and quieter side yet close to top attractions. The breakfast was very nice and honestly everything exceeded our expectations from a B&B. Will definitely be back if we make it again to Venice!
