Wasnt informed breakfast wasnt being served. Mind you this place was the spot to feel safe & cleanliness. Receptionist is AMAZING as ALWAYS. The room was not up to par im really OCD basically as were checking out we spotted several several bugs in the bathroom. Weve come to the decision to give this hotel a serious break.

Pillows were huge and hard as rocks. Super uncomfortable sleep. Hotel was clean and room was decent.

A Hard No, Unless You Like Dirty

This place is gross and dirty. Breakfast was terrible, coffee was cold, the biscuits were moldy and the dining area wasn’t clean. There is a huge dried booger smeared on the back wall of the elevator. So gross. Mold in corners of the shower, sticky bathroom floor, and spiderwebs in the corners of the window. The room was basic clean, but could really use a deep clean especially in the corners. The entire place looks like it could use some serious, legit scrubbing and cleaning and patching and painting.

I checked in the hotel went to the room to make sure everything was good. The toilet didn't work and the sink was clogged. Took me two hours before they moved me to another Room.

Front desk was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was on point. The only issue we had was the hot and cold water were reversed in the shower. But once we figured it out, it was fine.

The hotel was disgusting. Bathroom door didn’t close, only two towels, pol was green. Dusty and smelled horrible. Worst part… BUGS IN THE BEDS!!!

My room was large, clean, quiet, and the air conditioner worked like a charm. The bed was comfy and the pillows fluffy. The amenities were Dove produces, very nice.

Conveniently right off I10 & next to a restaurant, a convenience gas station, & an Ace Hardware. If traveling with a dog(s) there’s a ton of parking lots to walk them on (there is a little plot of grass in the front though). BUT there is a fully enclosed park across from the elementary school a short drive away & a brewery, Hound Song Brewing, with great beers and a covered patio for those with pets. Breakfast was surprisingly decent; hot items included eggs, bacon & sausage and it was not even the weekend. Front staff was accommodating & understanding of our circumstances, Hurricane Beryl refugees, and got me in a room 2 hours before check in time. I had no idea they were sold out the night before but I should have realized that was the case considering this hotel was an hour away from home via highway and was the closest I could find with a room 2 days after a natural disaster affecting 10 million people. Room 315 was clean & the A/C was cold. Bed was very comfy. WiFi was good in the room. Was able to work remote with no lagging after jumping through a couple hoops to get on the WiFi. Cons: the elevator is slooooooow. No first floor rooms. Parking sideways on an incline in covered spots.

Not sure how this is rated an 8. The property is not clean. Rooms smell like smoke. The staff however is amazing and very friendly and helpful. I’d say it’s a 3 star at best.

Would stay there again

Overnight stay due to electrical power outage in Houston. Everything was fine for the stay. Front desk staff were friendly & helpful. There are minor wear issues, but the room was clean. I would stay there again.

Very spacious.

The room was very spacious, the staff was extremely helpful, the bed was comfortable, and the hotel was easy to find. It was close to family which was helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly staff

We stay here to visit our grandchildren & give them a chance to go swimming. The mattresses are a plus we sleep very comfortably. Check out at 11am is also a plus.

Great Hotel

The staff was friendly and helpful and check in was easy. The only issue we had was breakfast. No big coffee machine, instead there were 2 little ones exactly like the ones in the rooms and no water source to use. The granola was very stale. They did offer scrambled eggs, biscuits, juice and waffles. We chose to leave and go elsewhere to get coffee. It is a great location and the covered parking was a plus.

OK for a one night, just passing thru stay. Not on my list to stay at again. Staff is snotty and rude and pillows were overstuffed. Made coffee in the bathroom. Ice bucket but no ice machine.

If you are looking for a value in your hotel stay, this will do. If you want to be comfortable, this is not the place to stay. Check-in person and check-out person was snotty, rude and very unfriendly. Other hotels that I have stayed at the staff would be happy to talk to you but not this one. Pillows are hard and overstuffed. The one morning we were there, the coffee maker at breakfast was broke but the breakfast itself was not bad.

The restroom was dirty with hairs everywhere & drops of stuff on the toilet and back of seat.I had to wipe everything down with sanitizer wipes before use. Definitely not worth $110 for a quick stay

This is normally my go to spot, the recent change in management at the desk is another thing. I have never had to put an extra 100 on a stay because I booked third party…management was rude at first

It’s more of an updated hotel done well. There’s walking distance dining and convenient store options. The bed is very comfortable, there’s a telsa charge station on the property. Free breakfast that’s one of favorite things about hotels.

The room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is quiet, which helps since I’m a night shift worker.

The first problem with this Columbus location was the room. The noise from the air conditioning unit was loud enough to drown out the television. There was a huge hole in the window (photo attached). The tiles on the bathroom floor were loose. The wall was severely damaged (photo attached) by the bathtub. The light, outlets and USB did not work next to the bed. The brown carpet was not clean (walked in white socks on it and they were stained FROM THE CARPET). The bathroom door latch did not work properly. There was a smell of old smoke in the hallway. The second problem was an unauthorized charge on my card. I sent a message to the hotel letting them know I was traveling with my dog (chosen this place because it was "pet friendly." My dog was with me when I checked in. The desk clerk at this time told me I needed to put down a $100 pet deposit (refunded in about 4 days after check out) which is totally fine and expected. However, she never stated that there was an extra fee to have a pet with me. Days after checking out I saw this $25 fee on my card. After calling and finding out what it was for, I asked that it be waived because I was not told it existed and had not authorized the additional charge. The man attempted to blame Expedia for this, then told me that the woman had been fired (the desk clerk) because she hadn’t told me, then asked me to call back in an hour. In the end, there was no help given with this and I feel after the disappointing accommodations, it was jus

The door handle came off in my husband’s hand on our last night. It was too late to move rooms and no one answered the phone at the desk. We couldn’t lock the door properly nor could we open it from the outside. The clerk advised at checkout there was no refund available to us

Sleepless in Columbus

Everything was great except for the clows staying above us that were stomping around their room CONSTANTLY between the hours of 2am-4:30am. I called the front desk multiple times and all i got was a busy signal. I would've gone upstairs myself, but not with the way this world is today. You'd end up assaulted or worse. Unfortunately managment was not available to do anything.

Great property, but a $100 credit card hold for "incidentals" for one night is ridiculous. I've never stayed at a hotel with such a high incidental charge, almost as much as the room rate

What you demand in a hotel room

It was good, clean, comfortable. Service was great too. All the things a hotel should be.

The staff recommended an amazing mexican restaurant right next door to the hotel that was wonderful. Also they had a chef who would make omlets to order at the free breakfast. This place is SO well run!

The weekends have fresh omelets for your enjoyment. The breakfast bar was good on Monday. The pool was open. I did not have the ability to use it.

So many issues, including Expedia. Booked through Expedia and hotel didn’t have my reservation, but I clearly had a confirmation. They made me book at a higher rate. I also booked a king suite with a full kitchen so I could cook for my wife that has dietary restrictions. Well it had a full kitchen but nothing to cook with or eat on. Funny enough it had a dish washer. So I had to go to Walmart and spend more money.

The room was comfortable, breakfast was good. My problem was at night. For me, it was too much noise coming from the highway, I think, through the air conditioning box.

We were in town for a wedding and it was great for our one night stay!!

The room seemed clean, but had an old and used edge to it. Kinda' rough around the corners so to speak. When I went to check out, there was apparently only one baggage cart and the night manager said he didn't see it or couldn't find it and just went back to making the breakfast.

Exactly what we needed. Convenient to wedding location.

Was in town for a meeting and the Baymont served my needs perfectly.

Stayed on the weekend of New Years Eve 2023.

The room looked very nice. Except the sink drains had food. The refrigerator was not cleaned very well. The tile floors made my shoes sound sticky. The carpet had some dirty spots. The shower didn’t work so we had change rooms so we could take a shower. Forgot my blade that I had to use to open a food can n they wouldn’t return it.

Parking was not the best

Food was great, housekeeping was friendly, front desk was very helpful when I asked for more pillows, the only thing I would say is that the bed was hard, that's why I needed more pillows.

We always stay here when we come in town for family reunion in columbus. The breakfast is delicious with good eggs bacon sausage waffles. And the staff was so nice. And the room is always very clean. The hotel is well kept

Great customer service

Staff was attentive, friendly and responsive. I got to my room a d the bathroom sink was clearly not clean. The floor was also doubtful. I called front desk and within 5 minutes someone was already in my room taking me to another room with the keys and all. The new room was clean. The sink was a but chipped and there were a few things that clearly broke and were fixed. Breakfast was ok. Checkout was fast and easy.

We enjoyed our stay

Don't expect daily maid service. We came back to the hotel at 11 pm to find that the room had not be cleaned even though, that morning we had to go back up to retrieve a forgotten item and the maid was already there. The next morning on check-out, the front desk told us it was a computer error.

No water pressure in shower this is the cheap way to save on water you spend more time to take shower then regular shower

Details: check in delayed due to no one at check in desk Room: there was a hole the size of a baseball in the window!!! The floor in the bathroom had not been cleaned properly and was filthy and sticky! The handicap bars in the tub were loose and the floor was dangerous and needs a non skid mat or appliqué so that seniors would not get injured due to current slippery condition. Check out delayed due to no one working the desk. Extremely frustrating and disappointing.

They had eggs and plenty of yogurt, but very limited breakfast options. And I had the whole dining area to myself for the first 20 minutes. Got in late after 5 hour drive wanted to watch some news while I ate a late dinner but remote to tv didn't work. Light bulbs were out on one lamp, a/c just wasn't cooling like it should. Plenty of parking while I was there, friendly staff. Convenient. Spacious room.

Hotel was nice. A bit more expensive than others, but clean room. Decent breakfast, not great. Went to the gym if you can call it a gym (1 treadmill) room was hot. Overall though good stay

Room key didn't work my last night there. Took 6 trips down to the front desk for them to resolve the card issue (about an hour). Pillows were so thick they were unusable.
