We were disappointed because the property did not match the advertisement

It’s pricey

Thae motel is good but the only thing is the mattress was to hard got a sore back from it

Convenient location. Close to shops, restaurants and waterfront precinct. The owner was lovely. Very helpful and welcoming. Good price too. Building dated but a good value stay.

Perfect for an overnight visit to Geelong. Walking distance to the waterfront restaurants and city centre. Manager's attitude could use improvement.

Comfortable accommodation with everything you need. Walking distance to pier and town centre. Outside looks a bit run down but rooms odern and clean. Parking safe and easy onsitenext to room.

Stay was ok.

Accidentally left one candle on after blowing out the rest had a romantic night and somehow it set the alarm Off and there was no damage. I got when I was going to see my kids of her abusing me.

The location is great. Only stayed one night for a doctors appointment. Bed was very hard and made it difficult to sleep.

Briefly - management was rude, room was very dusty, table was wobbly with loose legs, shower had pubes in it. Was coughing with the dust in the room. Found the air conditioning filter was filthy. We cleaned it! Made all the difference. AND if you need to sleep while staying there.;you wont. The bed felt like we were trying sleep on concrete with timber laying on top. Unbelievably hard. Would have left after first night but had paid for 2 with an option for 3. Obviously didn’t take up the option to stay an extra night. Stayed at the Novotel instead. Not much more to pay, sleep in a very comfortable king be and the unit is designed well and clean.

I like it because it is an easy access to the city and to visit around other areas.

Toilet needed a new lid/top or needed adjustment. Showerhead wouldn't stay up and needs repairs. Shower screen door needs adjusting. Would have been better if there were bowls and plates and knife and forks.

Such a rude woman at reception. She makes Basil Faulty look polite. I wont stay again

Clean and centrally located for restaurants and waterfront walks.

I transferred $200 as security straight to the lady in receptions account as was having technical problems doing it by card. Was told it would be transferred straight back into my account on departure. I saw her when leaving and she said she'd transfer it that morning. Haven't heard or received anything a day later. Payment can't be pending as I transferred to her already and we both use the same bank.

The rooms have been done up and are clean and new. The beds were like sleeping on the floor. The mattresses were seriously like boards. So uncomfortable. Great location, plenty of parking.

Motel took $100 bond and assured me it would be back in my account after a room inspection. This has not been done after 8 hours.

My wife and I had a good time, the room was clean and fragrant every day, the responsibility was always kind and helpful, excellent location near the sea, I recommend it to everyone

Stayed there last night. I couldn't knock the staff, building (it's old but that can't be helped and it's clean and well maintained) and the inside was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was modern and nice. They also had TV and foxtel and a very quiet reverse cycle heater / AC which worked great and didn't disturb my sleep. My only criticism (and it's major for me) is that the mattress was VERY HARD. I'm exclusively a side sleeper and I was very tired after a big day. I slept solidly until 2.30 and then my hips were killing me and I tossed and turned for the rest of the night. Couldn't wait for the sun to come up. It ruined my stay and affected me the next day as I didn't get enough sleep.

Bed sheets had what appeared to be a grease stain on them. Cold shower in the morning. Cars parked directly outside rooms made for noisy night and early mornings.

Great to find a traditional motel in a surprisingly central location.

The shower was amazing! The room was close enough to the city to enjoy the walk around but not close enough for traffic noise to be a problem. Perfect.

Overall disappointing, considering the positive comments on the booking site. It was clean but tired and not to the standard that one would expect these days.

This property is located very near by the main Geelong Hospital precinct making it convenient if you are needing to stay for medical treatment/visiting. The property is well presented with free onsite car parking out the front of your room. I would suggest requesting a downstairs room if you have any mobility issues. My room slept three people and was modern and very clean with a small dining table for 2. A microwave, kettle and toaster was provided in the room. There appeared to be no meals provided onsite. There are a number of cafes and pubs close by however. There is good free Wifi. Reception hours are strictly 9am- 9pm so ensure that you check in during these times. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. I stayed over a very busy weekend in Geelong so the room price was more expensive than usual I’m guessing. Noise from other guests was minimal.

Quiet and convenient

The hotel was newly renovated and clean but after my daughter had a 5 minute show which was not overly hot my shower was cold. On a winter morning that’s not very nice.

Quiet and convenient

The lady at the front was lovely. There was only one tiny coffee cup and the air conditioner was noisy. The bed was average but the shower was great!
