Very courteous staff throughout. Extremely clean. Very good restaurants with lent food options as well as the pool bar and cafe. The beach was clean and enjoyable. Best place to vacation at.

Good but with space for improvement

The experience was great, the structure of the hotel is good and there’s plenty options of activities and entertainment, and the entertainment team is super nice, particularly Kito, Julia and Oscar. The food was good, everything was always clean and the staff is very helpful in general. I’ve had a a few situations with the staff at the beach bar where I would order something and they would make fun of me (like repeating what I said in a feminine voice, for example), or clearly talking about me in their language. Also, by the beach, you get chased every day, many times a day, by the people selling tours and sea activities, which is super annoying. I didn’t have a good experience with the scuba dive as well, they are very unprofessional and unprepared to deal and respect people, especially women. I wouldn’t recommend doing it if it’s your first time, cause it can be scary and, in my case, traumatising. I understand it’s a different company, but as it is within the hotel premises, they should try improving the customer service for a better experience. Overall experience was good, if we didn’t have to deal with this other situations it would have been excellent.

The service of the hotel has significantly improved since my last visit two years ago. It has become even better while I liked it from the first time.

The Baron Palms Resort, seems to be the upper market neighbor to the Baron Resort next door, and for good reason. The property is, like many others, a 20 minute free shuttle ride into Namma Bay, but a short taxi trip to the airport. The property is beautifully manicured, swimming pools are immaculate and large, the staff are top tier and the food at the hotel restaurants is mostly buffet and mediocre, but as good as any other high-end resorts in the area. Everything was available and worked well in our room, and the wifi was strong, fast and stable. The resort appears to be a favorite for Russians and Kazakhs but the staff all speak English as well as some Russian. A tip: ask for a discount for the transport to the airport, a hedge against the exorbitant cost of the hotel taxi service. You will pay a reasonable price. Highly recommended for a relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful time in Baron Palms Resort, excellent service, beautiful property and wonderful beach. Breakfast is amazing, lunch is good and dinner has great options but the food was not hot enough. Will definitely return! Make sure to get massage!

Nice, serviceable and clean.

The place is beautiful and the service is good. The WiFi is not good enough for Whatsap calls. The free bar is only for small part of the drinks. The dining rooms have allot to offer and I liked some of the dishes.

The hotel is very nice and clean. They upgraded us to a room with a pool view which was great.

Best hotel to stay in Sharm el sheikh!! Can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff or the amenities. The general manager was one of the kindest people we met there and he made sure all of our needs were met. He came to say good morning at every breakfast and good evening at every dinner. The head chef at the main restaurant made sure we always left happy and full! Even the manager of the restaurant greeted us every day! The pool staff were attentive and kept the area looking absolutely beautiful. The beach was amazing and very clean with the full options to snorkel, scuba diving, and use banana boat and lots of other fun things. A hidden treasure and we will definitely be back!!

The promoted the adults only property and a great pool. After arriving, they put me in a kids hotel next door and told me it was an upgrade. I asked, wheres the pool you advertise in the picture? Why are there kids here? They said the resort was closed and i had to stay in the "upgraded" kid friendly hotel. It was a disaster, i checked out immediately and still waiting for a FULL refund. Dishonest.

"No guests here"

Upon arrival we were told no guests were staying at the hotel. We were moved next door to the Baron Resort instead. We had specifically booked the Palms because it was adults only. The stay was good but there is absolutely no excuse for why we could not have been informed of this change before we arrived.

Words alone cannot describe just how great this hotel is. Although we originally booked for the Baron Palms, which when we arrived we found out, it was temporarily closed, and we had been moved to this one, I have zero complaints and all praises for the Baron. The hotel is perfectly manicured and extremely clean. The staff is extremely well trained and the welcoming attitude by all feels genuine, unlike other places we’ve visited. Even with the mix up from our original room (1 king bed), which we didn’t have at first, the manager rectified the issue right away. It seems that Egyptian hotel rooms are more commonly equipped with 2 twin beds, as we experienced earlier in Cairo. But the Baron Resort is by far superior to many of the hotels we saw while in Sharm El Sheikh. The cleanliness was spectacular in all areas of the hotel. Every staff member we encountered during a week plus stay was welcoming and very helpful. The beach is beautiful and the snorkeling/ diving off the beach is 1 of the best we’ve ever seen in the world. There no need to leave the hotel, if that’s what you choose, as there’s shops and excursions booths along “Baron Blvd” which is right in between the 2 Baron resorts, with very fair prices for souvenirs/tours (check out 360 excursions. They’re great) We will for sure return for many visits to come as the Baron felt more like home away from home than merely just a hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

Exceptionally great hotel to stay

Extremely happy with our 10 days stay in the Baron Palms. The food was delicious and varied. The beach and swimming pools are lovely. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. November weather was perfectly 100% sunny and warm with 33 degrees celsius. Baron Palms has a fantastic SPA and massage. Thanks to Khalid and Amal. The staff were great and helpful. Especially at the main restaurant Mohmoud (Captain), young Taha at ice-cream dispenser and other chefs. At the pool and beach staff were helpful too. Entertainment team was great especially Anna. Finally, not to forget the fantastic concierge team. We would definitely choose to stay here again and recommend to everybody.

Baron Palms is a beautiful, clean place to stay in. Staff is so nice and helpful all over the place especially the restaurant manager Mr Mohamed el Halawany and the chef Mr Ezzat. We honeymooned here and it was above an beyond our expectations. It was very clean and well kept, the entire hotel has a wonderful smell that makes you feel fresh. It is very private and entire staff are extremely respectful and prompt. Mr. Khalid the manager is extremely friendly and always made us feel welcome. Sayeed the housekeeper did a wonderful job and left us wonderful towel art daily. Islam and Ahmed the bartenders are fun and took great care of us. We will definitely be back very soon.

Very happy with our mini break in the Baron Palms. The staff were really very friendly and helpful, with the perfect balance of not being pestering while trying to relax. The food was delicious and varied. The pool was big enough to enjoy a decent swim. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Great landscaping, large beach access

The hotel was really nice. The landscaping is great, the all inclusive package was ideal, and the size of their beach was much bigger than neighboring hotels in the area. Mahmoud at the poolside bar was wonderful and kept us happy and entertained, and Syed who was in housekeeping was also really nice. The staff was almost all so friendly. Some of the front desk staff was great the others not so much. I would ask them a question, and they would begin to answer then ignore me while answering the phones without even excusing themselves to do so, so it was a little frustrating trying to get some information while they weren't really caring too much to help that first day. Afterwards the rest of the staff was helpful. The property is really nice and would recommend

A disappointing stay

I am making this review on baron resort, not baron palms because it is closed, and they switched us to baron resort. The overall stay was disappointing, from the check in to the check out, we received our room very late and after the waiting time we received a wrong room, snd we waited again for the other room. The majority of the staff don't treat egyptians very well, as Egyptians we didn't feel that we are welcome in this hotel, you must request what you want many times to get everywhere, at the pool bar, the restaurant and even at the reception. They didn't even respond to you when you say good morning or hi. The most important thing, that there is no serious measures taken for the Covid 19, most of the staff is not wearing masks properly, no cleaning or sanitisation for the table or anything, even the housekeeping staff is not wearing masks at all. Really it was a big disappointment to stay in this hotel, and I will not repeat it again.

good stay

we stayed at the Baron resort as the palms is closed. the beach and swimming pools are lovely, the food in the buffet restaurant is very delicious and plenty of choices, we tried the Egyptian restaurant and it was fabulous. The sea view rooms location is perfect although it need refurbish as it is out of date. The staff at reception is helpful, at the pool restaurant are not organized and shouting on each others

I had a really pleasant stay for work and then extended my stay because I did like the place and the energy there. I have had few incidents happening but, I wouldn't complain. As all of them were handled and taken care of accordingly. I would like highlight the outstanding hospitality and the great management as well. A huge thank you to, Mr. Wali the general manager, Mr. Hamed the restaurant manager, Mr. El-Halawany Di. F.B manager and Rome at the lobby bar. Also, a special thank you for the warm and great attitude to Mr. Saad Ali El-Katry, Ahmed El-Deep, Husain Ahmed and Ahmed Samir at the pool side. I'm sure that the management will take care of the certain people's behaviour that wasn't really pleasant. Specially, the person on the bar during the night shift and the one at the beach bar who lied to me about a certain charge. I have spoken to Mr. Wael Wali and other people from the management and it couldn't get any better. I believe with these people on board as the management the place will always give it's best. Not just that but, will also work on providing an exceptional experience for their guests. Thank you again and, I absolutely look forward to being there again. I will indeed recommend the place to my friends, family and clients as well.

Un reserved Baron

We were disappointed because our stay was not in the resort adults only although we have reserved the resort Palms adults only, it was not an honest property. The food is amazing in taste and variety especially from chef Ahmed Fawzi and chef Hamada el Gazar. Staff are friendly. The beach is not nice because of the many rocks found.

I reserved for baron palms but they ended up making me stay in baron resort next door ( same name but one is adult only and one was family) they didnt tell me in advance about this change and I didnt want to stay around Kids. Every thing else was great but I stayed last year in the adult only whiched i enjoyed more.

Friendly Stuff

I stayed for 4 nights during COVID-19. The room was very clean and comfortable. Food was delicious but desserts weren't of much variety. The beach has a beautiful reef full of colorful fishes. The snacks bar is of top quality. Animation team were very friendly and open despite not having much activities due to Covid.

Very bad experience

The hotel is closed and they changed the reservation to the other baron hotel which is not adults only room was not clean and the lights and shower water needs maintenance ,too much noise and food was always cold

The hotel was nice and clean. the staff were very competent. a little too much lip service but overall agreeable. had a couple of minor mishaps in that i was first shown to a room i did not book but after being shown to two others we finally agreed on the type of room i booked

Second to None

A very nice place to spend a comfy vacation with friends and family. Service and food are second to none. Don't haste after names of international hotels in the region. This hotel overpowers all of them.

The hotel was very nice. Decorated to a high level, which was reflected in thr high level of service from all staff. It's a relaxing place to stay with lots to offer every visitor. I would recommend it and would return.

The property was kept clean and smelling fresh however it was not 5 star conditions as advertised. The furniture and rooms were old, our rating would be 3 star. No tubs in rooms with single beds (queen, king) only standing showers that barely fit one person. The pools outside were not really the greatest only because one was ice cold and the other was a little less cold but for December weather this resort should have had a jacuzzi or heated pool. The employees were all very nice but they made me uncomfortable a lot by starring at me nonstop and also speaking to me with expectation of tips all the time. The buffet was not bad however the food options were pretty much similar every day. You can manage to eat there if you are only there for few days but after 4-5 days we got sick of the same type of food. Please keep in mind that even if you pay for the ALL INCLUSIVE option, room service is NOT included. We were fooled by this even after Expedia called to verify if room service was included or not and the employee answering said it was but when we got there we were told it wasn’t.

The rooms were super clean and smelled fresh. The air freshener used smelled like fresh oranges....

Could've been better!

Was terrible check in into dirty rooms :( When insisted to cleaner rooms and escalated our concerns, they rectified the matter and move us to cleaner rooms whom they cleaned in front of us. Disappointing wasting first day to get ckecked in properly and didn't get a chance to enjoy the beach. Staff didnt understands the value of our time. We got an apology from senior management on our last day. Was too late but I guess we have to accept it. Best restaurant: The Egyptian Restaurant. Best Service: Hair dresser "Marwa" Best Service: Mahmoud veach towels Service. Beach is fabulous. All inclusive buffet: same items every day. Beach Bar: while waiting to order our beer, we noticed that they don't wash the cups, just rinced with water!!! Staff in general didn't seem happy. Didn't hear any management encouraging young staff. There was too many long faces!! Your dont feel the happiness of a resort. They can do much better in all areas!

Great hotel. Things that are often extra in other hotels are included here. Very good food with wide selection plus 2 nice a la carte resturants. Nice to have a heated pool. Beach lovely and coral reef extremely good. Hotel very clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel

Me and my wife booked the Honeymooners Offer. Not only the resort wasn't aware of that but could not get what we paid for: room upgrade and all the perks included. The manager offered a late check out and free transfer to the airport. Service was very slow and we had dificulties comunicating with the staff as most didn't speak english. A disapointing experience for our honeymoon. Location is quite nice, clean and well maintain. Food is decent, fresh and diverse. SPA and Diving Center although in the resort area, are independent businesses and prices are made on the spot. The resort does not take responsabilities for them. The Airport transfer costs $25 one way and needs to be arranged well in advance with the resort. Be prepared to send many emails before getting an answer. I would not recomand this resort - especially for honeymooners - or go there again. Definetely not a 5 star resort or service.

dangerous place

rust in cattle, worms in fruit, get locked in bathroom and my friend called them to get help no one came for 10-15 minutes till he go down and get someone with him ! no organic fresh juices even if they tell it's organic it's not ! fruit is frozen and not fresh as well. they never get you enough water, they keep sending small bottles and they won't get you many if you asked. you will get shocked by air conditioner each time you go to eat because restaurant is separated from hotel not far it's 5 meters away but separated and that's why I got fever because place is very hot outside.

Nice hotel

The hotel was very nice with friendly staff. However it was not close to the city center.

Very nice and quiet resort. Food was good. Check in took a lot of time. The staff are friendly but some of the reception staff are not friendly with us at all. I think it's because of Hijab. We have a major issue in the room one of the sheets was dirty in unacceptable way all they said is that the are sorry and send us a fruit plate! The other night they overbooked our room, the new guest opened the room door in the middle of the night. And they were sorry again! Their guest service should improve to offer more than sorry or a fruit basket. We love the place but we didn't like how things are done.

The overall stay was awesome, the hotel is super clean, the service is excellent, the majority of the staff are friendly, they are always asking you if you want something, the room was very clean, it was a wonderful stay. But as i mentioned good things, i must also say the weakness or what needs to be improved, some staff members were unprofessional especially at the reception and the pool bar, this is a very important thing that needs to be improved because it can affect the wonderful image of the hotel. Another thing is internet, it is very poor in the public areas very slow, and no internet in the rooms.

Amazing staff

As a solo traveller, I liked that it was for adults only. The Egyptian restaurant was exceptional. The grounds and pool were beautiful and well maintained. My “Homeymoon suite” was quite ordinary. The bathroom was dated and in need of an upgrade. It did have a nice, large private balcony. Overall, I think it was good value for my money. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in pool-view room, which was nice. Cheaper rooms are classsical rooms garden view. They are located in peaceful part of hotel , but the view is not so good. Depend how view from the room is important for you . The interior of the room and hotel is simple , disigned in Arabian style, nice and charming. The managers and all staff really care about cleinines very well, according that the locations is on the beach of the desert and sand is everywhere. The location on the beach is good for people who don’t like to be in the commercial centre of Sharm El Sheikh. It takes 15 min with taxi to go there . All inclusive package : all food ( full board + snackes) and all drinks during the day and night are including . You can not eat and drink more as they offer. The guests don’t spend for additional services, what is not good for the hotel. I think, that would be enough, that all inclusive packages contain 3 meals (full boards) per day and bottled water all day, but all other drinks (alcohol, coffees, ice creams ,etc.) should be ordered separate and charged. This will help to hotel to make a bit more income and to pay staff better. The employees: managers and staff (reception, room keepers , waiters, chiefs, animation team, ...)are very helpful and friendly. They work a lot and they earn a little. So... be respectful and friendly to their work and you will get good services, smiles and a very nice holidays. So... what you give them , you will get back! 😃👍

Not our first time in Sharm, but we enjoyed our stay a lot! The staff was very nice. Food was great. The territory is beautiful. Beach + Coral reefs were decent. The Hotel is quiet, but there’s always stuff to do. Recommendation: I would recommend for the cleaner to have a checklist of things he needs to do in the room, since he kept forgetting to give us all the towels. He also kept misplacing/ throwing away the papers we would leave on the bed (Baron Palms activities schedule, animation’s cocktail party invitation, etc.). Nevertheless, he was always very nice and tried to help whenever we asked him for anything.

Want to return!

Great place! Loved it and would return! So glad there were no kids screaming, splashing or running around. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious!

Wonderful memories of this short break (5 nights). Polite and helpful staff, great buffet food choices, lovely room & clean private beach. A la carte menus a little lacking with limited vegetarian options & warm white wine - but overall extremely happy with our choice of accommodation.. Thank you!!

Great place to have some R&R

Sharm El Sheikh was supposed to be a small layover as I headed to Cairo. I am glad I booked Baron Palms as the resort was quiet and was exactly what I was looking for. I was able to get well-needed rest. I was so impressed by the staff and their overall friendliness I did not want to leave. So I extended my stay two more days. I spent my days by the pool reading, and by Paradise Pool Restaurant. I made friends with Hamza, Moustafa, and Ali. They became my go to people during the day. They made the day pass by and filled it with laughter. I learned some Arabic words and truly felt I made friends there. Hamza and Ali work the bar and take care of all the guests, while Moustafa is the funny and charismatic chef. I ended up spending my lunches and dinners there as I was traveling solo. I hope management can read this and acknowledge the great work these guys do. To those three guys, I say thank you for making my stay wonderful. To management, I say you are lucky to have employees like these who care very much about your business when you are and are not looking.

Short stay break..

Was a nice short stay.. quality of food was fabulous but let down by very cheap alcoholic beverages which were undrinkable, there is no entertainment as such unless you join the guests from the other baron resort at the amphitheatre on an evening which caters for children! This was supposed to be an adults only hotel so would of been nice to have our own entertainment within the complex. If anyone is considering this hotel for a 2 week holiday it would be so boring with lack of animation and evening entertainment with very poor AI beverages.

Amazing stay at Baron Palm Resort

The hotel was excellent specially when you reserve with everything included. The food, drinks are amazing. The bar open 24 hours. The only thing which I did not like, it is far from city center.

This is the 26th hotel I've stayed at in Sharm El Sheikh and is now my favourite hotel - if only I could afford it every time I visit Sharm. What sets this hotel aside from the other hotels is that it's Adults Only and cater for a different kind of guest away from the "package tour" type - therefore they can deliver a quality that you wouldn't find in other hotels. For example, every morning the Breakfast Buffet includes luxury items like Freshly Squeezed Juices, Smoked Salmon, Sushi and a whole Honeycomb - things that wouldn't last five minutes at other hotels catering for families and package holiday makers. There are two Al-la-carte restaurants which we tried, but personally the food is so tasty and bountiful in the restaurant that we actually preferred to eat there. The poolside Paradise restaurant main-meal of beef left me underwhelmed when it arrived with two tiny pieces of beef that could probably be found in the main restaurant. The pool is quiet and so is the beach (make sure you sit in the Baron Palms section and not the Baron Resort section otherwise you will be unceremoniously ejected). The drinks are served in very clean LARGE plastic tumblers, so clear they are indistinguishable from glass. Finally, the staff are fantastic, thanks to all of them for making our vacation a time we'd never forget - particularly Mohamed Ahmed (assistant bar manager) and Mahmoud the Capitan in the restaurant. I would add loads more but am limited to 1500 characters.

Excellent hotel all staff and facilities are to a very high standard cleanliness is superb and nothing is to much trouble so good we will be returning within the next few weeks

Terrible boring sloppy food everything taste the same and no varieties never seen such food and dessert...Cheap furniture which makes your stay unconfortable...Small toilet with no tub just a plastic shower shell with plugged lavatory... My package was full board and you have to tip to get service however was misleading because they also have all inclusive which is higher service than full board and anything you ask for you pay for it such as water on the pool...the beach is far away from the hotel...to use the hotel shuttel you have to pay 7 euros...in general was very bad experience and I would not recommend the Hotel to anyone... I hope this will get tothe hotel management but I dont think will make any difference...

Steer clear of this hotel

We were placed in the worst room in hotel and offered very expensive upgrade. We thought we had all-inclusive and believe we had paid for that due to the way the hotel advertised on expedia. They offered us a crazy figure to get the all-inclusive we originally paid for. The hotel was like a ghost town there was not a single person in the main bar when we arrived. We changed hotels in the morning after one night.

AN ADULT ONLY EGYPTIAN GEM

If you are looking for excitement on the doorstep this is not the hotel for you. If you are looking for complete relaxation then this is just perfect. Relaxing quiet and first class service and accommodation. Sadly no "welcome" drink which we are used to on a 5 star holiday but we were taken to our room swiftly and it was beautiful, book a pool-view room as it is worth it, large balconies and exceptionally clean and comfortable. The pool area is wonderful and the staff are very keen to please, saying that the bombardment of the "Spa" staff gets a bit much so a blunt response was required. The food is plentiful and available all day as are the drinks at this "All Inclusive" hotel i wouldn't say it was 5 star food but very close and the managers in the restaurant are always eager to take on board any recommendations buy the guests. The staff in the restaurants work so very hard and always smiling. There is no way you would or could go hungry. If your looking for entertainment and a wild night life this wont be found here.

Nice hotel.

We got off to a bad start but the reception staff did their best to put things right especially Ahmed. \The pool area was a bit crowded but the beach was very nice. The food was not always good. The presentation also very poor for the main course.

Palms Spring

Good facilities, great staff and truly all inclusive package. Only minor negative was the bathroom - bit tired and needed some mould treatment. Great snorkeling and diving direct from resorts own pier. Nice pool with plenty of sun beds.

Excellent hotel!!

We've just returned from a week stay at the Baron Palms Resort Hotel. I booked and flew out without a travel rep and it was terrific. The guest relations staff, Donna to be exact, were delightful and really helped me out. The hotel was clean, the staff were pleasant, friendly, and brilliant with the kids. The pool was fab. The only slight downside I found as a woman on her own with two kids was the shoppping boulevard owners seem keen to get you in the shops, which were quite small, and then stand in front of you so you couldn't get past them when you didn't purchase anything. One of the shop holders was downright rude when I mentioned I had compared an item in his shop to an item in another. He called, what I think was the Boss, in to the shop and both of them were verbally rude and sarcastic to me. I felt quite uncomfortable and for this he didn't get my English pounds! The hotel operates a no hassle rule on this boulevard and there are security guards there to ensure your safety, so from that aspect it was good. Mustafa in the terrace bar was a family favourite "alright mate, cushty cushty!", as were some of the pool staff, Amir and Omar to mention two. On the beach the pool bar staff are constantly walking the rows of beds checking to see if you want a drink, there is cold bottled water on tap. The life guard comes down and sprays you with menthol or rose water on the beach and offers out "frozen" flannels for that ultimate cool down.

From the moment we arrived it had been amazing. The staff is wonderful en super helpful. They are always willing to help. The room and facilities were great. (The only thing is that the shower could have been better). I absolutely loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for an amazing time.

Odalar geniş ferah balkonlu,yatak rahat ve çarşaflar temiz. Yemekler harikaydı, çok çeşit ana yemek vardı, ızgara stil, tavuk, balık, karides… Aç kalmak mümkün değil ve tatlılar meyveler saymakla bitmez. Kokteyller harika. Havuz çok temiz ve barında sneak yiyecekler harikaydı. Plajdaki barda aynı hizmeti veriyor. Otelin her noktası bakımlı ve temiz, personel çok güler yüzlü ve saygılıydı. Denizi de çok temizdi. Bazı geceler animasyon da oluyor. Biz çok memnun kaldık ve yıllık tatil planımıza bu oteli kesinlikle dahil ettik. İyi ki keşfetmişiz.

Çalışanlar düzgün insanlardı ellerinden geleni yaptılar, yemekler de çok iyidi. Her damak tadına hitap eden yemek vardı ama içecek konusunda eksikleri vardı. Özellikle yemeğin yanına ayran ve rakı çok iyi olabilirdi.

The hotel is very clean and the food is tasty. We like the pool area and the beach area. The staff is very friendly, when we need anything it was solved immediately. The service is way beyond my expectations. I certainly recommend it! An additional note: This was our first trip to Egypt. We also attended to the daily tours to Cairo and Ras Mohamed National Park. Based on our experience Egypt is safe.

Nel complesso è stato tutto bello. Tutti molto cordiali e servizievoli. Un grande ringraziamento a Amr e Ashraf i due ragazzi che lavorano al beach bar, persone di cuore e molto professionali. Non ci hanno mai fatto mancare niente. Noiosi e insistenti invece i fotografi della spiaggia, Ehab e Paolo.

I liked all inclusive and stuff service. I did not like that I can not cheese restaurant.
