It met my needs. Room comfortable, clean and well kept.
Clean room. Helpful staff. Convenient dining at on-site restaurant. Location is somewhat isolated and away from downtown Agrigento.
Restaurant very poor menu probably because of low season reduced occupancy.
Excellent hotel. Great beach access and a beautiful compound
Afterall was a good time 👍
Honestly the pics on hotels.com are not really accurate… the hotel looks much better in real!👍 Then we had a nice stay, even after being overcharged without apologies… Car lost , some incompatibilities with the male old staff.. maybe they don’t like friend’s men’s group. Anyway, In Overall, it was a great stay. Thanks too the pool guy and the pool bartender, and the breakfast lady who was speaking English 💙
Lovely stay
The hotel has an amazing location, with a beautiful beach. Our room was spacious overlooking the swimming pool and with sea view. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!!
Amazing hotel with beach entrance
Really beautiful hotel and in a good condition. This hotel has also great amenities like an enormous swimming pool, a huge terrace where they could sustain a wedding party, a big and safe parking and spacious and clean rooms. Unfortunately, we had a small incident with the risotto from the picture because was almost raw but the staff was fare with us and we didn't pay for it and we even got a bottle of wine as their excuses.
Visited the hotel for the 4th time and it was perfect as always !!!
Fantastic site for visiting Agrigento and the Valley of the Temples Great all around place to stay
The location was nice and secluded. The grounds were expansive down to the beach. The staff was super friendly
Nice hotel, good parking, the evening dinner was much to be desired, with no imagination in the dishes we had, and too expensive for what was served, very regular quality in the gastronomic aspect. As for the pool, the water is too cold, the beach and sea are better, ....but also is important that the fumigate the mosquitoes of the gardens.
Luxurious hotel, quite expensive
Travelling around Sicily we stopped in Agrigento for one night to see the Valley of the Temples and the Scala dei Turchi. The room was very nice, not huge but big enough, we had a good meal in the restaurant, the facilities are great (pool and private beach area) and we wished we had stayed a bit longer to really use them. The staff were really friendly and helpful. However, breakfast was average (a help-yourself buffet style) and the room was expensive.
We stayed here for 1 night driving from Palermo in order to see the Greek ruins of Agrigento. Very clean place with nice beach front and good pool. We walked down the street to local restaurants and in the evening sat outside on the patio and had a drink while they had a local performer sing a mix of Italian and English songs. The décor was Spanish castle feeling with dark wood trim that gave it an old European feeling. VERY clean and staff was nice.
Nice pool. Poor staff - officious and not helpful. Food poor eg stale cake at breakfast, cheap concentrated orange juice that had not been diluted enough, tuna sandwich just tuna in cheap white plastic bread. Most facilities closed even in mid June eg no sunbeds on private beach, beach bar closed. Pool bar only sporadically staffed. Hotel very quiet and mostly empty. Overcharged us on leaving. Room needs refurbishment as old but it was clean. Plastic cups in room rather than glass. Is 3k from san leone not walking distance. Left day early as not enjoying.
Very nice resort style Hotel, although they do most of their business from tours. I prefer less tour bus action. I wouldn’t stay there again due to that fact.
Great staff and beautiful hotel
My husband thought we had the wrong address as the area around the hotel is not real nice. However, once you are at the hotel, the grounds are beautiful. The staff was great and the bartender was excellent. When we checked out we received a bottle of wine. We have never received a gift when checking out of a hotel. We really enjoyed our stay!
A nightmare
Too depressing to say. Too old and everything is old. Neeeds a Reno big time
Very nice facility. We went off season, but would love to see it with better weather. Rooms & common areas were very well tended. Breakfast was very good as well. Would highly recommend.
Disappointing
Booked because we wanted spa and pool - only to be told on arrival that spa only opens at weekends. This was not mentioned when we booked! Surly staff on reception. Very poor breakfast. Powdered fruit juice was final insult as oranges are so cheap everywhere else offered freshly squeezed orange juice. Worse place we stayed but also most expensive.
Expensive dinner
Not a place to stay in the offseason
I was okay with the beach being closed (I guess), but the spa and fitness center, too? It is really necessary to close the fitness center? The restaurant is only open on Wednesdays, but that's okay because it's overpriced. During high-season, the property is probably fine, but not in February.
Quiet & out of the way
The hotel is elegant , quiet and out of the way. Good pool, bar, artwork, and public spaces. The wi fi was intermittent. The wait staff were rude, and we had to leave the facility to eat dinner absent reservations. There wasn't any dining even close to the hotel. The price was competitive but bring your own food. Not within walking distance from the Temples
4* start landscaping, 1* service
If you are looking for a hotel where your belongings are stolen by staff members then this is the place for you. Firstly, upon arrival we weren't taken to our room by staff, just pointed in the direction of our room, very unprofessional for a "4*" hotel. Secondly, advertising the hotel as a spa and wellness centre when in fact the spa was closed throughout our 10 day stay is incorrect and unhelpful. The worst experience was coming back from a day at the beach to find our hotel room door open, when we had previously closed it, to then notice our jewellery missing. The door had not been broken into, the only way of access would have been to use a key. When alerting staff they did very little to help us, accusing us of leaving it on the beach or by the pool, even threatening to call the police as we were 'causing a scene'! This was very frustrating especially when trying to explain the room was only accepable by key. All in all the best part of our stay was the pool, the beach and its pretty landscaping. The restaurant (serving the same overpriced menu made up of five items) and staff were of very poor quality. Our holiday experience was ruined by poor management and rude staff. This hotel does not deserve the 4* rating it currently holds.
Don't expect a classy spa hotel
I am so disappointed that I booked this hotel. The hotel is not a high-class spa hotel, but rather an enormous coach-serving package hotel. Food disgusting, room basic and uncomfortable, staff rude and disinterested, and spa not even visited because it was fully booked. The impressive beach front area is the only positive aspect at this hotel.
Difficult to reach to especially at night
The inside of the hotel is excellent. There are no shops close by and the hotel has limited catering facilities at night. However it has all you need to have a good break nice swimming pool, beach restaurant.
Agrigento in Autumn
Although a little out of season the weather was very warm and sunny. The hotel was welcoming and had lovely views. Most welcome to have a little balcony with a glimpse of the sea. It's location is a little out of the way, but perfect if you are after a retreat from the busy town and tourist sites. You would need a car.
Did Not Get the Room We had Reserved
The suite that the hotel gave us was NOT the configuration we had reserved and confirmed with Hotels.com. In addition, it had a leaking toilet, so that in the middle of the night there was a foul smelling water all over the bathroom floor. The hotel insisted that we had the suite that Hotels.com had arranged for us, but it differed in the notes of the reservation I had made (and the notes of my confirmation call). They moved us to a second suite, which WAS the configuration I had confirmed and then they tried to charge us with both rooms, even though they said it was not their fault that they couldn't find a plumber to come out and fix the toilet! I contacted Hotels. com immediately by email, and they were VERY helpful: apologizing and correcting the bill. In addition, Hotels.com provided me with a coupon for our next reservation...making me a loyal customer! In addition, we had hoped to use the spa for facials, but when we went by at 2:30 PM, there was no sign that they were open.
Hotel yes / SPA?
SPA only open Fri-Sun along with the gym facilities ... so good luck if you want to work out Mon-Fri Breakfast buffet - Overpriced / very poor selection Beach - Pool: Get ready to pay if you want to use WiFi connection - horrible
Beautiful design!
Very beautiful "Italian yet modern" hotel, with large bright rooms and open views of Mt. Etna. Incredibly comfortable beds! The bathrooms were beautifully designed, with very cool sinks. Watch out for the showers though, if you start it without the shower door being fully closed you may end up soaking the entire bathroom! (also no bathtubs, but that is pretty much the way I found most of Italy to be...) I stayed here for a great deal I found on Expedia. We were there during the slow season, so the experience might be different if more people were in the hotel, but we overall found it to be a very quiet and pleasant place to stay. There is a wonderful winery (Gambinos) just a short drive up the road, who provided an AMAZING food spread (go hungry!) with their full wine tasting (20 euros, but with the amount of food and wine it was a deal!).
Unfortunately the swimming pool was not functioning, and appeared to have not been in use for a while. There were not enough staff around in the evening, e.g. my wife and I and about 4 other couples were trying to buy drinks at around 8.30pm, but there was no-one there to serve us. After about 10 mins someone didi turn up, he served us, and disappeared! However room was great, balcony overlooking the sea, staff friendly, plenty of space to lounge around in!
Nice Hotel - TINY shower
The hotel overall was very nice, room was reasonable, common areas were lovely, dinner was very very good, service in the dining room was excellent. But I have to say this was the tiniest shower we encountered the whole trip - it was 27-inches square! The whole bathroom in general was a bit too small. Now granted, in Sicily, obesity is pretty much non-existent, and the people are smaller of stature in general, but a typical American male would be bumping elbows in this shower, and I can't imagine how an overweight American would fare in there. Front desk staff were just a bit chilly - nothing I could put a finger on, but just to say we enjoyed "warmer" at other hotels. It was very good for the price though, and no regrets.
Very beautiful hotel and superb grounds!
The hotel was top notch! The service was very good. The desk staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and they were very informative. They help us find location for services in town. It was very conveniently close to the Greek temples. The private beach was amazing, however we only had one night stay and could not enjoy all the amenities. The pool had very accessible hours also. We had not problems getting late check out. Breakfast was good. The only issue was that one of the two computers wasn't able to access the internet and the other one was always busy. They were not able to fix the problem in the time we were there, however they made phone calls for us to help us contact our family in Sicily.
Fawlty Towers in Sicily
A very attractive hotel in a lovely location although a car is a necessity if you want to eat out and believe me, you do! Dinner was reminiscent of a poor British seaside hotel from the 1970s. Most plates went back half full from most tables. Management of the dining room was laughable. Our main courses came out three times before they got the timing right. Many sunbeds were broken and we had to find this out the hard way. Not too hard to check this dily, is it? There was a charge for beach towels and for wifi. Staff have yet to learn the need to smile and be pleasant to guests. Definitely not somewhere to which I will ever return.
Poor restaurant
Shower is verry small,if you are bid you won't fit,D'ont eat at the restaurant. The are goog restaurant see on trip Advisor
Good Time
We only stayed one night but the room was clean and very comfortable,The location and parking was great. We went in April so the town and hotel was quiet. The hotel is not near the ruins so a car is neccessary,Breakfast was good breads, cakes, american coffee, yogurt and fruit.Quite good.Hotel has a lovely pool and close to the ocean
This hotel is at a beautiful facility and beach, but at a hard to find location. Advise GPS locator. The grounds and facilities look awesome but the service and upkeep leave alot to be desired. For instance, there was significant mold in our shower stall. Internet was not working. The bed was very, very hard. They would not provide glasses for the room. They did not want you to open your own liquor in the room, but the bar was closed for a wedding.
Baia di Ulisse Wellness & SPA
This was a beautiful self contained hotel, with private beach, pine tree shaded grounds for relaxation and pool,However, we didn't use the pool, because when it was open (closed between 12.30 and 4.30???) swimmers were required to wear blue rubber bathing caps!!!!! Other gripes included looking for bar staff after dinner and 'entertainment staff' (although very friendly) interrupted us on the beach, on the terrace and at the dinner table mid meal to announce their next performance in the mini ampitheatre. Breakfast was the best we found during our island tour, and rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hotel is ideally situated for the short drive to the valley of the temples.
Lovely hotel- but don't go out
This hotel is not easy to find and on the drive there we were dreading arriving as the local area is run down and very poor and shabby - much like the rest of Sicily. However, once admitted to the gated complex there is everything you could need for a short stay - pool, beach, 3 bars 3 restaurants and excellent service from all the staff. The rooms are large and very well appointed with stunning views across the bay from a large balcony equipped with table and loungers. It is a lovely place but don't stay long as there is nowhere to go at night outside of the hotel. It's a good spot to explore the south and west of the island and even for a day trip to Palermo (any longer is a waste). Good rates too and excellent food both at breakfast and dinner.
Albergo molto pulito e curato. Spiaggia privata stupenda.
Bellissimo mare .
Giorni trascorsi in totale relax
Bella atmosfera, personale gentilissimo
Delicious with a view
Fabulous Hotel with nice views. Food was delicious and high quality. Rooms are fine, need a little updating here and there, but nothing tragic. Phenomenal indoor lounging area. Friendly & helpful staff. Safe onsite free parking outdoors with gate.
Ottimo hotel
an leone e dintorni
Ottimo relax.
Magnifico soggiorno, rilassamento assicurato, tutto ok.
Ontbijt was prima.
Bellissima struttura, personale qualificato, cortese e disponibile. Estremamente pulito, spiaggia splendida e mare favoloso.
Bellissima struttura , ben tenuta; personale gentile.
Ristorante chiuso. Colazione seriale
riguardo l'hotel tutto estremamente positivo , personale disponibile e gentile , pulizia location , servizi , spa , tutto bene
Uitzicht is prachtig.
Ottimo e sorprendentemente curato e pulito
Ontbijt is uitgebreid.
Hotel with very nice Beach
the positive: - very nice beach - nice parking lot stuff and housekeeping - nice pool - free parking negative: - 3€ extra cost for pool towels - breakfast for a 4 star hotel bad - unfriendly waiters, some at the reception desk - room shown on the pictures aren't the rooms you get - poor WLAN - worst of all: you can hear everything from your neighbours room; toilett flushing, talking, taking shower etc. That was really bad, you also hear the people walking by...
Spiaggia privata sabbiosa.
Nice sea resort for families
Great place to enjoy the sea and relax, like a resort. Dining with sea view on the terrace is a good option. However very long waiting time - 35 minutes between our antipasti and the primo piatto. However the breakfast is disappointing, pastries are industrial and not much to be reminded of for this.

Nice place!
