Wonderful accommodation!

We really enjoyed our two day stay at this hotel. The receptionist (Ileana) was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and immaculately clean. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the historic area close to the sea. The only small difficulty was the fact that the streets around the hotel have restricted access for cars, so we had to walk a few blocks with our luggage. As we came off season, their restaurant was closed. However, there are lots of great restaurants nearby, so that was not a problem.

Beautiful property especially liked the kitchenette. We had room to hang out in the morning and have coffee. Great area right in the middle of lively area but the building was quiet.

Restful Retreat

The one bedroom apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. The concierge was very helpful with information and printing documents I needed for onward travel. There were many cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The apart hotel was in a lovely part of the old city. We enjoyed exploring Trapani, lots of piazzas and scenic views by the water.

Trapani - very central and classic property.

Well situated, good breakfast, elegant hotel. The only negative point is the lack of furniture. It's beautiful but not practical. There is place to put your toiletries in the bathroom and the wardrobe is too small in the room for a family of 3.

A gem of a hotel in the heart of Trapani!

This hotel was amazing! Check in parking was our only challenge. Once that was settled, it was the BEST!

Great location. Not far from free parking lot and still in the center of Trapani. Roomy and lovely balcony. The only item i would suggest for improvement is to change the toilet seat cover to better fit the toilet!!

Four night Stay in January 2017

This is a very modern and very clean apartment style hotel with separate bedroom, fully equipped kitchen diner and bathroom perfectly positioned in the tourist pedestrianised old area of the city and very close to the intercity bus stop by the harbour. Very helpful English speaking staff. The kichen diner enabled us to provide our own breakfast, make tea/coffee and to cook for ourselves in the evening when we felt like it. There is a mini market five minutes walk away and several bar/cafe's within a minute or two. Very convenient for the bus to Erice (the cable car is closed in Jan/Feb) or Marsala and the hydrofoil to the islands. There is really nice roof terrace which was closed for the winter but we still used it one warm sunny afternoon. Recommended Be aware that a new bar has opened directly behind the hotel. We were kept awake by it's opening party which went on noisily until 6am on a Tuesday night! The hotel handled it well and it didn't happen again. Apparently it is illegal in Trapani to play loud music after 12.00 midweek and 1.00 am weekends.

The beds were very comfortable. But you could hear people above you and next to you. Also, on Saturday night the noise from the street below keep me up all night.

Good but bad breakfast

The breakfast was very disappointing requested English breakfast tea it was sour and smet as if the water or tea pot were sour the scrambled egg and two timy piecies of bacon were awfull we told the waiter about the tea he did not offer to replace but agreed it was sour

A decent stay.

The hotel had great service and nice room with good space. The shower and bathroom was beautiful but the wifi was not great. The location was great and there was free parking close by (a 10 minute walk).

This hotel is in a great location and even convenient with parking although not on site. Space in room fantastic with equipped kitchen and huge wardrobe space. Great breakfast included next door restaurant. Right in the heart of the beuautiful old city. A great stay

The hotel location is right inside the old town and could not be better. The staff is exceptional from Jocey helping to guide us to the hotel on the phone as it is a bit complicated driving into the old town; to very good restaurant recommendations; to excellent tips on getting around the area. They have a very nice restaurant for breakfast with a wide selection of very fresh food. The hotel itself is right in the action of the town but it is just located nicely to avoid being noisy at night. The old town of Trapani is a very nice town on its own and there are many things to do around the town. We did not take advantage of the nearby islands which are supposed to be outstanding but we did get to Erice one day and Marsala, for a winery tour and wine tasting, on another.

Our First Trip to Sicily

First trip to Sicily, this Hotel is in the pedestrianised area of Trapani, so your right where all the restaurants and bars are. You have to park your car 10 minutes walk away, but you can drop luggage around the corner. We found the Hotel staff very helpful and friendly, the quality of our room was excellent. The restaurant the Hotel uses for breakfast is situated next door and also has table and chairs in the alley way which was great on a sunny morning for breakfast. All floors are serviced by a lift with a sun terrace on the 4th floor. The Hotel is about 15 minutes from Trapani airport. We drove into Palermo which took about 85 minutes but 30 minutes to find a parking place. The train takes over 3 hours, and I don't like coach travel.

Spacious, comfortable apartment

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen/living space included a dining table, ample cupboard space, fridge/freezer, sofa and flat screen tv. There was another sofa in the bedroom, which also had two small balconies, overlooking two different streets. The roof terrace was another bonus - great for watching the sun go down. Breakfast was taken in the restaurant next door, and while unremarkable was perfectly adequate. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, always on hand to offer advice. We would certainly recommend the Badia Nuova and hope to return.

Good location (if not using a car)

5 mins from airport bus stop (hourly service), the ferry to the small islands and a zillion bars and restaurants. Really helpful staff. Only issues are a poor choice of food at breakfast (but the coffee is good) and wi-fi is a bit hit and miss in rooms. Not a good choice if you like complete peace and quiet as it's a busy area which does mean that the occasional drunk thinks it's OK to scream and shout after midnight. Our 'room' was actually a small flat complete with cooker, freezer etc.

Nice facility with a great central location

Really great suite hotel with awesome balconies! Awesome staff, very friendly and helpful. This hotel is about as central in the city center as one can be. We had to change rooms our first night because of a water leak, but we were moved into an even bigger and better room. Staff was super apologetic and accommodating. Because this hotel is right downtown, you hear all the music and people in the local cafes, but the sound dies down around 1:30 on a weekend night, and earlier on a week night. Also, the walls are very thin, so you will hear everytime your next door neighbors use the bathroom as the water pipes are very loud. Overall good hotel, though.

Comfortable residence in the heart of Trapani.

Top notch. The staff was super-helpful and accommodating. The woman at the front desk was especially helpful in navigating the vagaries of Italian street parking. Highly recommended. Oh, and excellent coffee (Julius Meinl) at the cafe next door for breakfast (included in the price of the room).

Great base to explore Western Sicily

This delightful apartment is located in the heart of Trapanis old town, and in a great location for access to both the ferry ports to the islands and transport networks to the rest of Sicily. Parking may be an issue if you have a hire car as it is centrally located so all the nearby parking appeared to be metered, although this was not an issue for us as we did not have a car. The apartments themselves are spacious and clean with plenty of room for those wishi to make the most of the self catering experience. There was a large kitchen diner with balcony and sofa area, and a separate bedroom and bathroom. The staff at the alle due badie are a credit to the establishment with their excellent English and fantastic recommendations. They are more than happy to help at any time of day or night, you just need to ask. We loved our stay here, and would definitely return when visiting this area of Sicily again, it is a great value centrally located base with everything you could need from a self catering apartment. Definitely one to consider!

Good value

The staff are knowledgeable and really make a stay at this hotel very good. We had a superior room and that was excellent, very clean, modern bathroom and very spacious. Breakfast is at the restaurant next door and is fine for a continental, if a little basic. The only downside to our stay was noise - both from the street level (including one night where extremely loud music was played until 4am at a nearby bars - beware what they call "White Night"!) but also from a neighbouring apartment. Not their fault but their bathroom backed on to or bedroom and everything could be heard clearly - we were woken several times by loo flushes during the night. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel but not if you are looking for somewhere quiet.

Quaint hotel!

We stayed here with a group on a business trip after flying in late to Trapani. Wow. What a beautiful and quaint hotel. The reception was so friendly and pleasant. The surrounding restaurants are welcoming and delish! Just one block from the ocean and in the heart of downtown--be prepared to carry your luggage from parking a block or so away, but it's worth it. True vibe of Italy outside of the touristy areas!

IN LOVE WITH TRAPANI!

we truly had a great experience at this hotel. it is located in the center of old town Trapani, just a block from the water and breathtaking views. Wow. Trapani is such beautiful place, and Alle Due Badie added a wonderful touch to our experience. A special THANK YOU to Aldo with Trapani Tours for being a wonderful tour guide and transportation for us :) we fell in love with Trapani and will be back FOR SURE!

Great Stay, great location

Alle Due Badie was a near perfect stay for us. The apartment was large, comfortable and in an excellent location. The staff were very helpful and even gave us a kettle to make tea. We enjoyed the space and the independence of doing our own thing at our own pace. It was also excellent value for money.Highly recommended by an older, experienced, travelling couple.

Difficult to find but great hotel

We recently stayed here for a night before flying out of trapani. The hotel is beautiful but it was a little difficult to find. We had a room with 2 bedrooms but only one heater in the rooms worked right so our friends were cold. Overall though it was a nice hotel at a great price

Little noise, but loved it!

Over all the hotel is excellent; clean, good price, friendly staffs, and convenient. I definitely stay there if I go back to Trapani again.

a nice apartment

There was one day the electricity stopped at mid-night. We failed to fix it and there was no body to help as the front desk lady was already off. There was no emergency contact number that we could call neither in our room or at the front desk. Therefore we had stayed a night without electricity supply. I was told in the morning the emergency contact no. was written on a cardboard hanging on the window facing the "outside" street ! It would be much better if we were informed when we checked in or even better to provide a cue card in the room with the emergency contact number. Also we will be more prepared psychologically if we were told that the room we stayed was prone to this (the sudden stop of electricity supply) whenever we use the oven. Apart from that, we had an enjoyable stay in this apartment.

we had an exceptional welcome at this hotel. It was well located in the old town with a lovely restaurant next door. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. a delightful place

It will do

The B&B is right next to Duomo....right in the centre and a short walk to all the major attractions including the beach and lovely restaurants. However, there is a massively steep 3 fligths of stairs to climb. Our room was at the top and hot but there was a electric air conditioner. The couple were friendly, but breakfast is not on site. The shower facilities you can cope with but not of the highest standard. The room did grow on us with lovely trendy decor but all in all it wasn't worth the price. In other towns we got cheaper and a greater standard of living, its just a shame it was a last minute booking. If you are in need this place will meet your needs, we were just spoilt in other hotels and were not expecting this.

Complete Relaxation

The hotel is small and personal, with wonderfully friendly reception staff. The hotel reception is often left unattended during siesta time so be sure to ask any questions in the morning!! Located on a beautiful ancient street in the heart of the old town, the hotel is close to everything (restaurants, shops, gelaterias, the port etc). Just a short walk to the main beach and a slightly further stroll to a lovely private beach (15minutes max). The restaurant beneath the hotel is absolutely superb, rated the best in the area and very reasonably priced. We were able to absolutely lose ourselves over the 5 days we stayed at the hotel. Wonderful wonderful trip. Only problem was that our hob didn't work in the kitchen, meaning we had to eat out every evening - which to be honest wasn't too much of a hardship!!

Superb Location in Brilliant Destination

We couldn't have been made more welcome despite not arriving 'til 00.30 am. Comfortable well equipped apartment in the heart of the old town near all the best bars and restaurants. Lively but not rowdy we were able to unwind in a nearby bar/cafe following our late arrival. There is a beach just round the corner and we swam in the sea every day. Trapani is very busy with italian tourists and is a very prosperous town,it is beautiful and fascinating. You can shop 'til you drop too ! Excellent bakery/snack bar just across the nearest square and we eventually found a small supermarket signposted from the nearby port harbour front so self catering was practical and enjoyable. Hotel is in a pedestrian zone so a taxi can't drop you at the door but it's not far from airport shuttle drop off point in the port (not the station). It was our first stay in Sicily and we couln't have had a better introduction. Maid service is only once a week so you have to dispose of your own rubbish at recycling point just outside the front door. There is a cable car to the hillside town of Erice nearby but check that it is not closed by strong winds before setting out. There don't seem to be any bus information or timetable handouts but if you know where you want to go the Tourist Information office will tell you how very efficiently.

Great hotel in a great location

Great hotel in a great location in the most picturesque part of town and just minutes from the sea. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a little kitchen and fridge which was good for keeping the wine cold. Would reccommend very highly.

For the first time ever in Italy, we experienced a very welcoming, positive and genuine delightful staff, no matter if the receptionist or the cleaning staff. It just makes such a difference. The hotel it self, is in very good condition, well placed, quiet and clean. We had an issue with the A/C, and it was fixed immediately. The restaurant connected to the hotel was equal good and friendly. This is also where you are served breakfast. The breakfast it self, was af good quality and plenty. For the "italien standard" this place deserve 5 stars rating.

Joli et bien placé

Hôtel situé dans le centre historique. Les chambres sont très grandes avec une jolie terrasse. Un rooftop très agréable mais le bar était fermé lors de notre venue. Le petit déjeuner est assez moyen.

SUPER Appartment

Das Appartment war schön, gross und sauber. Es liegt im Herzen der Altstadt. Wir haben ed abends sehr genossen, bei einem Glas Wein auf unserem kleinen Balkon zu sitzen. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Unbedingt zu erwähnen ist der Welcome-Drink und die tolle Häppchen-Platte auf der Rooftop-Bar. Günstige Parkplätze (€ 0.10/h) in der Nähe.

Prettige ontvangst. Mooi verbouwd pand met dakterras. Hulp bij boeken beveiligde parkeerplaats (12 euro/dag; accomodatie in voetgangersgebied. Afzonderlijk slaap- en woon/eetgedeelte. Slaapkamer 15m2 - 20m2. Prima bedden. Woongedeelte idem met voledig ingerichte keuken en eettafel. Ruime badkamer. Ondanks de omvang vond ik de douchecbine aan de krappe kant. Wifi vrij maar erg traag. Prima ontbijt. Al met al prima verblijf gehad. Ik kan deze accomodatie zeker aanbevelen.

Veel te gehorig

We bleven hier op zaterdagavond. Het was tot 02:00 uur erg lawaaierig op straat, hoorde je heel goed in de kamer. Om 06:30 uur gingen de eerste gasten opstaan, douchen, haren föhnen enz. Het was alsof ze in onze kamer zaten. We hebben bijna geen oog dichtgedaan. Ontbijt was ook erg teleurstellend.

Une résidence agréable, avec une belle terrasse et de petits balcons. La literie était agréable et la chambre spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans le restaurant voisin avec un choix impressionnant!

Ottima sistemazione in centro a Trapani; l'hotel si trova in zona pedonale ma facilmente raggiungibile lasciando l'auto a poche decine di metri. Le stanze sono molto ampie e confortevoli, il servizio buono e l'accoglienza ottima. Straconsigliato

Ottima struttura in posizione strategica

Hotel in pieno centro cittadino a pochi minuti dal lungomare. Ottimo per chi volesse passare qualche giorno per visitare Trapani, i dintorni e le isole. La mia camera, da tre posti, dotata anche di un angolo cottura. Mini bar fornito e con prezzi assolutamente convenienti (bottiglia di prosecco da 75 cl a € 7). Ottimo servizio di pulizia. Reception chiude alle 20.30 ma chiave a disposizione. Colazione in una struttura adiacente con un incredibile servizio (per varietà) di buffet dolce/salato.

Sturuttura in posizione centralissima e molto comoda (anche se non agevole da rintracciare - potrebbe essere utile inviare una mappetta ai clienti via mail). Personale molto cortese e ottima - ripeto ottima - e ricca colazione

El Hotel se encuentra en una calle peatonal, en pleno centro de Trapani, es agradable, tan solo no me agrado el hecho de que bloquearan dinero de la tarjeta, aunque a los 20 días se desbloqueo.

Very Nice hotel in best part historical center

3 days in Trapani/Badia Nuova and you feel reborn. Romantic room with cute balcony. I wish we had booked longer. But for returning you first have to leave. And we will return for sure. The restaurant next to the hotel makes it compleet. Their the breakfast is served and this restaurant Gusto has the perfect ambiance and People working. They did surprise us with their service and they made the birthday of my husband perfect.

buon residence carino ma non le chiamate "suite!

Niente a che vedere con un hotel infatti si chiama "residence"! quindi non si possono chiamare "suite" bilocali con arredamento molto basic, bagno senza riscaldamento, modesto e mal rifinito; personale gentile e disponibile, mancano ambienti comuni. Per chi non ha grandi pretese. Ottima posizione.

Nice staying in the slow town.

It's a type of residence. There is one bedroom and one dining room.They are completely separate. They are so big and clean. There are big windows by the dining room and small balcony by the bed room. Although bath room is pretty old. Their staff members are really polite and kind. It was so nice staying for us.

We verbleven op deze locatie eind oktober. Was nog heerlijk om in de avonden op een terrasje te zitten. We hadden op het vliegveld een auto gehuurd. Om de locatie te vinden kun je het beste je auto op de piazza vittorio emanuele parkeren. Is gratis en wordt bewaakt door de politie. Vanuit de parkeerplaats loop je langs het water binnen 10 min naar het hotel.

Très bon hôtel

En arrivant, problème avec notre chambre. Notre chambre pour 4 personnes n'était pas réservée, pourquoi ??? L'hôtel s'est débrouillé pour nous trouver une chambre de 3 + 1 lit d'appoint. Très bon petit déjeuner compris dans le prix juste à côté de l'hôtel. Parking gratuit à 800 m de l'hôtel. Très bon séjour dans cet hôtel.

Arrivati all'ora di cena il venerdì di Pasqua dopo aver superato le difficoltà dovute alla chiusura del centro storico. Il personale al ricevimento è stato superlativo nell'aiutarci a raggiungere l'albergo e nel darci tutte le indicazioni su come vivere la città.

Ett bra hotell med toppenläge mitt i gamla stan, nära till bad och hamn och restauranger. Hade turen att få rum med egen terrass, medan andra i sällskapet fick fönster som vätte inåt gård där inget dagsljus letade sig in. God frukost. Bra service.

Hermoso hotel impecable ,muy comoda la habitacion la cama el baño muy confortable. La ubicación en pleno barrio historico está lleno de lugares para comer buenísimo. La única contra es que si vas en auto lo tenes que dejar a 5 cuadras en estacionamiento público , pero es cómodo.El personal muy atento, lo recomiendo ,yo volvería.
