Decent place to stay

It's a good hostel. I booked a private room which was pretty comfortable. My friend stayed in the dorm room, and that was really nice too.

Very disappointing

I booked this hostel as I had stayed in the Panda in Jaipur which was exellent this hostel sadly lets it down The rooms are not cleaneD properlythe bathrooms are terrible with dirty floors, mirrors, toilets not cleaned around the sides or the toilet seat. The shower curtains are black at the bottom with the soap that has gathered up. The first room I had was a 4 bed which has a comfy bed and light and a plug - when I checked in the housekeeping guy was making the beds and he asked me for a tip?? I was only in the room less than 2 minutes. There was no one in the room and the next day at 6.30am 3 people were checked in making a loud amount of noise which woke me up! That night again I could not sleep with the noise so the next day I asked to move to a private room and pay the extra. The private room was better but still the bathroom was terrible with again a dirty shower curtain, the bathroom bin had a used condom sitting at the top as you opened it to put paper in!!! I left the bin outside the door and in the 2 nights no one came to take it away! The noise in this hostel is terrible I never slept well, the private room is beside the stairs and the young staff that work upstairs in the restaurant/bar run up and down the stairs banging their flip flops and shouting all the time!!! The breakfast is a total joke! The first morning I went down at 8am and asked what time breakfast was and I was told 10am? I left! Ravi on reception is very good and friendly he makes you feel welcome

HAPPYNESS

Nice and friendly hostel near the lake. Young group of managers always ready to assist you and suggest best place to visit. An Happy stay in a quiet location! Thanks to everyone! Ciao Marco
