10 STARS experience all the way. This apartment hotel is just amazing. First off and most significant, the personnel - Carlos, Lucky and Nadia are just out of this world amazing people. The location next to the Spanish Steps is hard to beat. Supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, etc. within a few minutes walk. We’ll be definitely coming back to this amazing place.

Thank you lucky and all the fine people at bambuino 79! We got the jacuzzi suite for 10 days. Accomodating clean and amazing location next to the spanish steps. You can see the church bells from our private terrace .

Great apartments in an interesting area of Rome

We were in a split-level room that was very comfy and all furniture in good condition, etc. Good lighting and air-conditioning. Minor moan would be difficult to access fridge as door clashed with folding doors 'concealing' kitchen area. The apartments have a shared lounge on third floor with comfy seats, coffee and meeting space. The area is great - lots of cafes and restaurants down side street nearby, although the street it is in is mainly high-end fashion shops. Near to large park with many museums in.

This is a great apartment in a fantastic location. This is a great walking location to shops, attractions and restaurants. The staff were welcoming and very friendly.

Perfect location between Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo- beautifully restored old building, apartment attractively and comfortably furnished , kitchen not suitable for cooking abig meal since no counter space but fine for morning breakfast or simple meal prep. Great to have friendly concierge service to book taxis and restaurants and help with incidentals.

Convenient location, impeccable clean, and exceptional staff. This is where we always stay when we are visiting Rome.

We like the property

Much better option than staying at a tiny hotel room for the same price. Perfectly clean, the apartments have absolutely anything you would need. The staff is super attentive and nice and the property is impeccably clean. Highly recommend! The location is fantastic as well!

Amazing property must stay

Amazing property I would stay there again in a heartbeat the staff was amazing friendly courteous helpful and the location cannot be P a block and a half away from the Spanish steps and the shopping district very luxe location

The experience at Babuino 79 was first rate. It was a sanctuary to come home to in Rome's sweltering heat. Great location, amenities are terrific and if there is a nicer person in the world than Lucky I have yet to meet that person. This place lives up to the reviews. Bed was on the harder side, but we found that all throughout Italy. Highly, Highly, recommend.

Great apartments

We have stayed here many times when we visit Rome. While located on a busy street, the rooms are a quiet oasis from the hussle. Like many rooms in Rome, this hotel occupies rooms within an old appartmentbuilding. The apartments are a good size with small kitchen and living, ideal for making some meals independently. The beds are a good size and comfortable, and bathrooms nicely appointed. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely apartment/hotel. Blocks fron the Spanish Steps. Very quiet given the location. Staff were lovely. Appreciate opportunity to leave luggage prior to checking in. A few too many steps/stairs to climb. 7b unit needs a coffee table.

Great place to stay in Rome

We had a wonderful stay at Babuino 79 - this will be our place to stay each time visiting Rome. The property is in a great location, the apartment is spacious, and the staff is excellent. Highly recommended.

The hotel was nice however was noisy and beds too hard. Old style keys and one slow elevator. Staff friendly, kitchenette however no grocery store around. Not sure if I would stay there again.

My husband and I chose Babuino 79 for our recent week in Rome because we knew we wanted a hotel that felt more like an apartment (but with the perks of a doorman and cleaning service). Babuino 79 exceeded all of our expectations -- dream location right by the Spanish Steps in between gorgeous boutiques, a short walk away from a glorious church and very helpful Farmacia (which made it a breeze to secure those departure COVID tests), right by a large, stunning park and the Borghese Galleries, and just 10 minutes easy walk from the Piazza del Popolo and 15 from the Trevi Fountain. Carlos at the front desk took fantastic care of us (and Sebastian, too!), making sure we had all the bottled water and coffee we could ever want. There was even a bottle of wine waiting for us when we checked in. I'd recommend this place to anyone -- the perfect home for the perfect week in Rome. <3

Definitely would stay again

Amazing. Good space to stay in on work travel. Had space in the apartment to hold meetings with colleagues. Great street. Helpful staff.

The hotel is one of the best we stayed in! Very good location, great service, and a very beautiful and well maintained property. The apartment was big, very clean, well equipped, very convenient, so we loved staying there very much. Lucky the service manager made every effort to make our stay great. We highly recommend Babuino 79 hotel!

A wonderful, elegant place in great spot and with incredibly welcoming and friendly staff - all of them - Lucky most especially. This is the second time I have stayed, and I plan to stay again.

I'd stay here again

This is a really cool place. Rooms are unique and fun. Plenty comfortable and spacious. Location was great. Easy to get around. We used Uber but there's also a taxi line about 100 yards from the place. We also walked back from both Vatican and Colloseum, a little long but under 30 minutes and enjoyable.

Place was great. Carlos provides excellent service, felt very comfortable asking him questions. It’s perfect location being close to metro.

Home at Paris

Paradise home in the heart of city. Perfect location. Very friendly staff. Home atmosphere. If you need something, ask Lycky!

Great choice

Everything was great - service top notch and clean as can be, but make sure you clarify the room type - we really needed a true one bedroom but the room we had was a loft with steep stairs - not great for young kids.

The property was great, close to the Spanish steps. The staff were fantastic. Especially Alfonzo, he was attentive and helpful. The Apartment was cleaned daily to very high standards. I will stay here on all of my trips to Rome without hesitation.

Great place

We loved this hotel. It was a noice surprise although not sure what we were expecting. The property and the room were very nice. The c heck process was very smooth and we got a complete orientation to the room and the property. The room was spacious and clean and modern. The air worked great. The bathroom was spacious and we had a kitchen that was well stocked but we never used but nice to have a fridge. The location was perfect. Right down the street from the spanish steps and close to shopping and eating and we felt very safe walking the neighborhood at night. We would highly recommend and look forward to going back and staying again Thank you!!

Perfect location! It’s like the rodeo drive of Rome! Tons of high end designer stores, restaurants and bars just a few steps away. Has a lot of Italian charm. Would definitely recommend

Spectacular

Babuino 79 was awesome! From the time we arrived until the time we left the service was spectacular! English speaking concierge was a big plus. Complimentary wine and daily unlimited bottled water. Kitchen had all of the necessities and the technology was great with digital HDTV, free WiFi, and remote controlled digital air conditioning. Two of the most convenient services was complimentary laundry... We just dropped it off and it was delivered to our room! And they did a special service to keep our large luggage when we checked out and did a two night tour of Venice!! All of the staff was incredible and we will definitely put this place on out list if ever we return to Rome. The location was excellent!! 1 minute to market. 2 minutes to pharmacy. Right in the center of designer fashion strip...for those that can afford those prices... Smile. A few traditional stores nearby too like Guess, H&M, Disney, Lego, Footlocker. 2 minutes to Metro A stop (Spagna) and 3 minutes to Spanish Steps. Which by the way Rome has banned people from sitting on them beginning the day we arrived... Sad face...local police were in the steps enforcing the new ban. Restaurants and shops gallore! Wish the bed had been a like higher and more comfortable but otherwise all was great. Definitely recommend Babuino 79.

Great spot for self catering

Have stayed here before, the location is Extremely central and also located close to a mini carrefour, as rooms are equipped with a mini kitchen, they are perfect for families or a longer stay. This is not a hotel, but located in a residential building so no room service etc, we love this place and will stay again when in Rome.

Prefect for Family

Very clean and well decorated apartment. With water and wine supply during our stay. Location is really good. Lots of good restaurants around and close to lots of tourist spots and shops/department store. All staffs are really helpful especially Lucky. Take very good care of us during our stays.

The location was perfect for our family. We loved having a private patio and plenty of space. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom had a very good hair dryer, shampoo, etc. Carlos and Lucky were extremely helpful with advice and handled our every request beautifully. The daily housekeeping was superb. We would stay here again!

An excellent apartment hotel

Staff are very helpful and responsive, especially Nikolina and Lucky. The property is super close to visiting spots in Spagna area. Room is decorated and furnished with all your need for a short stay in Rome. I will definitely come back this hotel next time.

Excellent- great location and very nice room. May get a little noisy depending on your neighbor. The only issue is that there is only one staff there whose English is not good.

Excellent property...very clean and very attentive

We enjoyed the location which central for our activities. The room was perfect , well maintained apartment with view from Via Del Babuino . The surrounds of shopping, cafes , churches with church bells ringing ;made it unique special for us. The property service team was excellent, Pablo made every effort to make our stay enjoyable , which was nothing short of exceptional!

We've been here before, but this time disappointed with the room given, an interior room with no direct daylight, a very dark room. Were offered an upgrade at a price!! which I felt we should not have had to pay for. Whether it all will affect our future bookings here?? probably yes!!

Easy to get to on the major shopping street in Rome. Super simple to get to by Metro. Staff was very pleasant and efficient and booked a driver to the airport for us as well as walking as through the apartment and mapping out local destinations. Only miff was that these are apartments and the next door neighbour must be a piano teacher because all through the day and evening we heard students playing scales. Not super loud by annoying when you are trying to rest.

Spotlessly clean and spacious appartment. Great location so close to the Spanish Steps. Great service from both concierges and the cleaner.. Would recommend this appartment to all family and friends.

Excellent place to stay.

10 !!! We stayed in the apartment for 6 nights. Amazing apartment. Well decorated. Excellent location just a few minutes walk from the Spanish Steps. A 15-minute walk from the Pantheon. Two minutes walk to supermarket. Open 24/7. Very clean & comfortable . Fully equipped kitchen. Staff is available until 12:00 at night. Always willing to help. Warmly recommended .

Perfect place to stay in Paris

Our stay at Babuino 79 was perfect. We had a quiet, comfortable, good-sized apartment with a small kitchen. The bed was comfortable. It is a 2 minute walk from the Spanish steps and the tube stop so the location is great. There are restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The staff was amazingly helpful. Highly recommended!

This accommodation in the very heart of Rome was outstanding, super quiet and above our expectations for the price paid. The kitchen and separate lounge space made the stay even more comfortable as did access to laundry facilities on site.

Wonderful Apartment

The location of the property was perfect. Everywhere was walkable or easy to access. Stylish and comfortable accommodation. We will go back.

Excellent experience. The room was comfortable. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. 300m to nearest metro station. Room was quite even though it was only on the second floor and facing street. Travelled with 2 kids. Having a kitchen was useful.

Could not want for more

Convenient, light filled , well appointed apparent. Three minutes from Metro and an easy walk to all the siights of the City. Stayed 6 nights and would happily return to apartment 3a.

Next time.......

Everything was great, clean, spacious but.......we had a room over the very active street, very, very noisy. Great location, lots of activity all day and night. If you book this hotel, request a room other than over the street.

The location and hotel were great except the bed was rock hard. I ended up sleeping on the couch.

Perfect Location and Awesome Apartment

The apartment is absolutely fantastic. The staff were really friendly and helpful throughout our stay. When we arrived, one of the staff members helped my husband and I with our bags and showed us everything we needed in the apartment. He then also gave us directions to some of the nearby sites as well as the 24hr supermarket. Every morning when we go out and every night when we come back, if there is a staff member there, they always greet us. The apartment is very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We chose to stay in a room that was facing the main street. It had a fantastic view and not as noisy as the staff warned it might be. It's also in a prime location - a five minute walk to the Spanish Steps and the metro station. My husband and I decided to walk to different places and found that we were at most a half hour walk from all the major tourist sites. There are also plenty of great restaurants in the area to choose from. Also a great amount of shopping sites beyond the designer stores in the area. All in all, an amazing experience and 100% would stay here again.

Stylish haven in the center of Rome

Great location in the midst of everything, stunning old building and the apartments were stylishly decorated. Well appointed with kitchenette, comfortable furnishings and modern bathroom. My only small concern was the hardness of the bed, we are accustomed to the firmer bed in Italian hotels, however this was very firm.. don't let this out you off as the place is a gem, we would stay again.

all in all very good. location is excellent.there are several things that i like to mention(small ones). we stayed in 14B which is called "Romantic studio, city view". Although it 's 4th floor and has double shutters you still hear street's noise. Heavy curtains would definitely help. bed is situated against the wall, so you have to crawl or climb over your partner. and lastly, there is no night light at the bed.the switch turns on/off all the lights in the room. so, i guess, it's more suited for one traveler.

Unbeatable location, friendly service, beautiful building, BUT be aware that there is no one at the front desk from 10:30 pm - 7:30 am - you are on your own!

Fantastic stay in Rome

We stayed two nights in this apartment which is conveniently located in Spanish Steps. It is small but compact, everything is well thought of. There are many restaurants nearby and a 24hr supermarket around the corner. Even its location is so close to Spanish steps it is very quiet at night. An ideal place to stay in Rome.

Amazing ! Loved every bit of it

Excellent property

Babuino 79 is a really great place. The apartments are beautifully decorated, well equipped, the kitchen is fully fitted. Everything is quality stuff. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. Our luggages had been lost by the airline, which delivered them in the middle of the night: Babuino 79 staff helped coordinating the delivery. They were fantastic. I highly recommend this property for enjoying a stay in Rome. It's alrteady 2 times we stayed there, and we'll certainly return.

Very Good Property

Good property in the heart of city center

Manager went out of his way to make us feel at home. We asked him if we got the note re the broken shower head on our previous stay. We were scheduled to stay in the same room and he immediately moved us to another room that was much larger.

convenient and comfortable place to stay

I stayed here for two nights, I loved it. Excellent location, it is in the middle of Spanish Square, there is a supermarket near by which is very convenient to go shopping and make homemade snakes. The office staffs are very nice, they are helpful and friendly. The taxis fare was very very good, only 35 Euros to FCO airport. I will stay in the same apartment when I travel to Rome in future.

we loved the apartment aspect of this hotel booking, was reasonably priced, comfortable. not private for second sleeping space as bedroom was a loft, second space a pullout sofa. great location.

This hotel is in an excellent location, right by several sites and great shopping/restaurants. The apartment was perfect for a family with children. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall great value!
