Average Hotel

Very average hotel. Nothing to brag about. But it was pretty clean, the staff was nice, and parking was good.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. Poor breakfast, poor amenities.

We stayed for two nights and had the opportunity to meet four different staff members. Each one of them was friendly, welcoming and professional. Would definitely stay again.

We were very happy with the quality of the property at such a great value. The staff were all helpful and lovely and it was surprisingly quiet for being so close to the highways/ major road.

Breakfast is not typical, it’s some breakfast sandwiches, and cereal. However everything else was great!

The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was much appreciated. It was a little noisy, hearing the other guests, but I slept well and would stay again.

I would do a bigger for filling breakfast if anything had to change.

The stay was great.

I chose this location for the roll-in disability shower for my husband who is disabled and uses a wheelchair. The shower was excellent. One thing I would recommend is putting microwave in the room, so disabled people can warm food without going downstairs. Sheree was very warm and welcoming.

Good valued stay

My stay at Avid Hotel was great. The room was nice and clean. I also liked that the charging ports had a USB port available. The showers were good, and bathroom was spacious. Overall, it was a good stay for the price

I booked thru you hotel.com. I get there and they asking for a card for file for another 100. i had switched purses thinking everything was good with only my id. The manager comes over rudely and loudly stating its nothing they can do and they cant refund me my money i paid for the room.

Everything was clean and comfy. I would've liked to have had a few more hot breakfast choices but what was there for grab and go was good. Bed was comfy and I appreciated the 24-hour availability of tea, coffee, water, and sparkling water!

The staff member that checked me in and Manager on duty were so amazing with us! We arrived at 1am and they gave us the absolute best energy!

The property was quiet and safe. But not very well lit outside and few amenities in the rooms.

Staff was very friendly and very helpful.

Modestly beautiful, super clean. No nasty, stinkin' in room carpet. Not one bug. My o ly "complaint" is minor. We could not find vending machines or snacks after hours, and sometimes there was no one at front desk to get anything from.

Tish was so helpful and kind to our needs since we were traveling with an elderly Mom and she went out of her way to make it a pleasant and relaxing stay.

9/10 but overall it was a pleasant stay

Nice, clean, simple place to sleep. The pillows were not as soft as we prefer, but that is my only complaint. We really liked the grab and go breakfast and the friendly lady at the front desk.

Friendly staff and it was in a great spot for what we were there for.

They charge $100 deposit, which was not on the disclosure. TV doesn't work. I call the front desk and the person there tells me to call a number. Why should I call a number? Isn't that the Hotels responsibility to provide good service. The person at the front desk said they dont do that, the Hotel is a "minimalistic" hotel and the Guests have to do things for themselves. Not happy at all

Great little efficient hotel with a very kind and accommodating staff. We’ve come back twice already and will continue to when traveling to Austin for work.

The staff was exceptional, simple but high quality. Worked for us. My wife had a broken leg. I would recommend the hotel invest in a wheelchair.

Nice new hotel, service can be improved

It's a nice new hotel and we really enjoyed the grab and go breakfast and appreciated the lady who services the breakfast station every day. The front desk lady we encountered however, was less than patient and friendly. We got new towels every day but our beds were not made. Not sure why.

Enjoyed my stay

Friendly service and a clean room.

Stayed for 3 nights in a 2 bed room. Sunday-Wednesday. Everything was well cleaned and washed. Water pressure was good. The beds and pillows are really soft. The kind of soft you sink into a bit. A little too soft for me but I was still able to get good sleep. Toiletries are push-top bottles that are mounted to the wall and have a great clean scent. Plenty of parking around the building. It's a safe area and there is also a gas station right down the street. Looks like they have a laundry service but can't comment on it. I didn't use it. My only minor gripe would be that the doors to the rooms are loud when they close. That could be a problem for some. It wasn't an issue for me but something I noticed.

Everything was perfect. Only dislike was the high security deposit of $100 in case of incidentals. They had said upon booking, of deposit being returned the next day upon check out but then upon checkout they stated it takes 5-7 business days to return.

It was really clean and comfortable. Christian from the reception was really nice. The breakfast was quite complete.

The thermostat was difficult to control. The slightest change would turn the room from an ice box to a furnace. The smoke alarm is also right above the bed and flashes a light like crazy. The 24/7 coffee was terrible. You can see water pouring straight into the cup for the first minute. Overall, the decor was nice and the staff were super pleasant

Hotel is quite nice, quite modern IHG hotel brand, appears to be quite new from Reception etc... Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Room is modern, nice bed and clean with good showers and toiletries. Enough space and very clever storage and charge points. Strange pillows which were too soft and a loud AC unit which even when off was still making noises. Breakfast: Very good, egg white omelette on some days, Bagels, a little bit of fruit, yoghurt, hot drinks, Cereal, granola bar, hot meat sandwich and 24 hour hot drinks and water available which came in very handy.

Would stay again

Although the rooms are small, the accommodations are newly renovated, clean, and comfortable. Service from all staff was wonderful. It was a great stay for a good price.

New hotel ,so clean

Meh, mediocre.

It all started wrong with a problem at check In (but this I was told was a problem with a hotels.com) then when we got to the room it was just mediocre. The shower had a part in it that was broken, and the tv didn’t work properly. I specifically booked here because the info on it said smarttv so I was thinking I could cast my phone onto the screen (which I’ve done at other hotels and worked just fine) but here that was not the case. I asked front desk about it and that wasn’t any help/didn’t give us any answers. The available channels was very minimal and so my child was not entertained at all. I’m still Waiting to see if I was double charged due to the issue at check in. Overall, there’s better hotels in the same price range- stay somewhere else instead.

Room was great for my two nights stay! Love that u can get coffee or tea anytime. Give them a 4 star. Even though room was clean it had a really different smell like I didn’t like! I brought candles and made it work! Bed was soft n comfortable shower was roomy and good hot water! Will return

Hotel was clean & smelled great. The Room was very comfortable and The property felt safe. Have not stayed at an Avid hotel but overall was a good experience. Did not see much staff on the grounds and the free breakfast didn’t offer much.

The room was super nice and comfortable. The woman at the check-in desk was really friendly. Breakfast was oatmeal packets, 2 cereals, and a granola bar. The rooms were well soundproof, you could hear people in the hallway easily.

Excellent hotel and a great value

Loved this hotel and would definitely stay again. A great value for how new and clean everything was and it had all the basics. Breakfast sandwiches were awesome but go early before they run out. 24 hour coffee/tea/water station was greatly appreciated. The internet was fast and stable to handle working remotely with hours of video calls. We could cast from our phones to the TV. The really nice Dove toiletries were an unexpected bonus and the mini-fridge actually got cold. Would be nice if there was a microwave at the coffee bar but otherwise perfect for all of our needs. Didn't use the gym but it looked nice and clean as well.

Cancelled my reservation that I’ve had since April the day of my trip while I was in the air flying to the city I selected a pay when you arrive option and they still decided to cancel and sell my week long reservation to another party. Front desk was not helpful and very dismissive when I asked about the extra travel insurance I paid for they explained it did nothing and that my room was already sold and there was nothing they could do.

Clean, new, inexpensive hotel. Thin walls and floor. Very firm bed. Pretty sure the people staying in the room above us had a pony that stomped around all night.

Very modern and quiet

Ants in room. Also bed bugs. Someone else entered my room (then quickly left when they realized it was occupied), so hotel is not managing rooms and keys well.
