Easy to check in. Unfortunately the restaurant and bar closed before midnight. The surroundings are not the most interesting in Almeria, but the room was fine, and street parking was easy.

The hotel is well located on a main road which goes direct to the beach and is close to a number of shopping centres. Very comfortable and nice clean room. Excellent breakfast with some cooked food. Underground parking but not too much space. Would certainly use again.

In a suite

Pre arrival communication was good. But the promised ' we will find something for you" in exchange for the free parking we were given as gold members and that we did not need as we were not in a car, never materialised. A bottle of cava in icebucket was put in our room on second night we were out, and i thought this was the 'something', but it wasn't as when i went to tell reception that we dont like cava she said they always put one in when u r in a suite. I asked if it could be swapped for fino (sherry) or a beer she said she would try. Despite me asking 3 more times during our stay the cava stayed in our room in the icebucket, and was still there when we left 8 days later!! I complained again when we left and she said it said on the computer to leave it there! We were glad we didn't book breakfast for each day as we had it before leaving on our last morning and it was a very standard selection, very poor choices of cereal, no muesli or oats just sugary cheap stuff. Poor hot choices. Cheap cakey things. On complaining at check out they just charged us for one breakfast. The suite is to be recommended as much more room than the standard rooms. Old fashioned furniture in what from outside looks a modern hotel. Good bed, pillows and linen. Kettle and fridge in room. No walk in shower. Old fashioned bath. Number 2 and number 5 buses into town centre nearby. Indoor shopping centre nearby. A lack of bars and cafes. Toiletries provided.

This property was clean, centrally located, and staff were great! I would definitely stay here again.

The South of Spain in the winter. I was suprised that most hotels only offer heat, and that AC is not available in your room. While the idea of cracking the window open seemed crazy to be as foreigner, it did the job to cool off the room a bit. I slept great. Also, they use cotton blankets on the bed and not down blankets. That was perfect. For me, down blankets provide a ridculous amount of heat insulation that always makes for a poor sleeping. Again, i slept great.

Fabulous hotel with really great service and staff. Great buffet breakfast. Parking on site is a bit tight but very convenient.

Everything about this place was excellent, staff, the check in , restaurant, onsite parking and helpful advice on where and what to do. Next door to a lovely big shopping plaza. Beautiful and clean room of a real good size. Will definitely stay again next time I’m in the area.

4 star hotel no coffee or tea facilities in the room !!!

Good stay

The room was clean, good quality of shampoo and soap (parabans free). The matress wad very hard, but of course that's a matter of taste. It'd have been good to have complimentary water and coffee in the room since apparently the "ah" new concept of hotels is to make the guests feel at home. Just a suggestion 😉 The breakfast was very good. There wasn't a wide variety of pastries or egg dishes, but there was a section of sugar-free items, fresh food and freshly squeezed orange juice. If you asked for it, they can give you sliced avocado. I must commend the service provided by Mia in the breakfast room. She was really attentive.

High quality of materials throughout the spacious room, especially the bathroom. Parking was secure, however "tight" getting in and out.

Two day visit to Almeria in June. Bizarrely Hotel.com wouldn’t let me book the same room twice so had to to do two bookings. The hotel were more than accommodating. The hotel is easy to find when entering the city. Check in was nice and quick we chose to pay at the property which we had to do once we paid rather than we checked out. We had a large double room which was clean and modern. Bathroom had some additional toiletries. Staff were helpful and spoke good English even understanding my average Spanish. Parking is available under the hotel. It’s €9 per day unless free via your booking. The car park is quite small and tight to move around in. There is breakfast available until 10am during the week & 11 on the weekend. The breakfast is decent enough. The only real draw back on the hotel is that is a 30 min walk into the town centre. Other than that it’s a decent hotel and decent value.

Great hotel,shame about the car park and breakfast

Hotel was great, location was great, room was great. Perfectly clean and comfortable large room with minifridge. Our only gripes were the parking and the breakfast. Car park spaces were quite small and difficult to maneuver into if you have a larger than average sized car. After the first night we parked on the road The breakfast hot food option (the only reason we chose to eat there) left a lot to be desired. They had the worst collection of fried eggs i have ever seen. Almost all of the eggs had broken in cooking and the couple that were not broken were overcooked. The sauseges were not on the hotplate and so were stone cold. This is not the standard i expect in a four star very nice hotel

The hotel itself it’s lovely but we were disappointed that we weren’t informed that there was a wedding taking place the same day, resulting in no available parking, no restaurant and no bar, we couldn’t even get a drink to take to our room we were advised by reception to go to a supermarket

The hotel is great, staff were excellent and a reasonably priced michelin star restaurant is attached to the hotel. breakfast was good , mostly a continental style.

Visit Almería

Great location and really comfortable, with well appointed rooms and friendly staff. We hope to try the restaurant on a subsejuent visit.

Very nice property convenient to Shopping band Foreigner's office but generally far away from old city center.

The room I stayed in wasn't especially clean. The Wifi didn't work and I had to sit in the lobby to check emails, which was annoying. The beds had gross blankets from what appeared to be the 90s, rather than comforters in a duvet. This was not hygienic. On the positive side, the restaurant in the hotel was delicious.

Nice stay, however, 30 minutes walk to historic center.

Top hotel in almeria

I’ve stayed here twice before, so no problem staying a third time everything as excellent as before. However room 301 the WiFi was terrible having to stand in the hallway for a good signal. Other than that the overall stay was excellent.

We absolutely LOVED everything about the hotel, it would be nice if it had a spa or gym or something along that line, given that it’s a 4 star hotel. Nonetheles, everything was exceptional! And the staff were extremely helpful and professional at all times

My stay was just an overnight. I was surprised when I asked the desk clerk if someone could help me bring my bags to my room and I was told no.

Business Class but the aircon needs fixing

A long way from the centre of tow. The a/c didn't work. The restaurant kitchen doesn't open until 8.30pm. Otherwise the hotel is in good shape.

NOT as good value as first appeared.....EVERY hotel we stayed at during our bike trip had complimentary water in the room, obviously drinking from the mini bar will incur a charge but when you get charged 1.50 when checking out for a 0.30/0.50 ml bottle of water that was in the room?? (NOT the cost..its the principle) you feel somewhat "ripped off". Woke up at around 4am with screaming and shouting in the corridor directly outside our room (admittedly not the fault of the hotel) went out to confront these Spanish individuals who were playing football in the corridor..... Being on a motorcycle it takes up a fraction of the space of the average car....I always make the effort so as to park the bike so as not to take up a car space which is exactly what I did....parked at the end of the parking spaces where there was not enough space for the average car (maybe a small electric car could have squeezed in ....just) yet was abruptly told when checking out that i need to pay the same price as a car, But the worst was when my wife was actually checking out there was little or no "eye contact" during the process / transaction, the member of reception was too busy holding a conversation with another receptionist out of sight in the office....and concluded with no "have a safe journey", no "Thank you"....nothing, just the receipt handed to my wife while continuing the conversation with her colleague. Overall clean and tidy, would we stay again? .......NO

Excellent for a one night stopover. Cannot fault this hotel at all...equally as good or better than some of the major UK non-budget chain hotels we have used. No complaints at all. We were on a room-only basis.

Great value for money hotel. Rooms were quite large with modern well equipped bathrooms. High quality mattresses and bed linen. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating and there is a great gastro restaurant attached to the hotel which has a fabulous wine list.

Smoking should NOT be permitted in the rooms.

We stayed there for a week and it was shocking, our room stunk of smoke and I was told by others that their room was also very smelly of people smoking in the rooms, smoking should NOT be permitted in the rooms or anywhere in the Hotel, I spoke to a member of the staff and asked if smoking was allow in the rooms and she said she did not now. The safe was NOT working we report to reception on the first day of arrival and we were told that it would be repaired later on that day, but it never was. Not a very good experience

Directions were incorrect on the website. The hotel was actually 1km further north on the same road.

Nice in front, but worn out inside.

The hotel is fine from the outside. But the room and corridors are worn. - large stains on hallway carpets, - old furnitures in the room. - no coffee or tee possibilities in the room. - bathroom door worn and rotten at the bottom - the dirt around the toilet - bathroom floor tile cracked, so it could possibly cut a foot. - no smart TV - wifi came in "lumps" The breakfast d. 26/12 was sad - no fresh fruit at all. - the only hot food was sausages cut into 1cm pieces. -no eggs of any kind. You could add breakfast on Hotels.com for €0.67, while on the hotel, you had to pay between €10.50-15 depending on which receptionist you spoke to. Can't recommend the hotel.

Gran hotel

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, y el servicio y limpieza es excelente. Además las ventanas están muy bien selladas para no oír ruido del exterior, el único detalle que nos incómodo un poco, es que se veía luz del pasillo por debajo de la puerta de la habitación.

Bon emplacement. Personnel plutôt agréable. L'installation avait des signes d'un peu besoin d'entretien (siège de toilette branlant, chasse d'eau erratique,et autres petits détails). Pour un 4 étoiles, personnellement je mettrai 3 étoiles et demi. Par contre le restaurant est vraiment exceptionnel. Cuisine gastronomique et personnel attentif. Un peu cher mais valait chaque dollar dépensé.

Deben mejorar la limpieza y el estado del mobiliario, puertas, mesas con muchos detalles de golpes y el inodoro negro en el fondo me dió muy mal aspecto. No lo calificarías con 4 estrellas

Hôtel sympa et chambre confortables. Literie excellente et équipements de qualité. La présence du parking est un plus appréciable. Le quartier est un peu éloigné du centre mais il est calme et sur. Un petit bémol pour le wifi qui n’était pas digne de l’établissement et qui était très récalcitrant. N’hésitez pas à tenter et retenter jusqu’à arriver à accrocher la connexion. Sinon nous avons bien apprécié notre séjour.

HOTEL EN PLENO CENTRO Y CON TODO A MANO

Hemos estado 5 días en el hotel, y la verdad es que todo muy bien. El personal de recepción siempre muy amable y, el servicio de limpieza, impecable. Lo único que si es verdad que las TV podrían ser SmartTV, para que la gente pueda poner sus cuentas de Netflix, Disney… una serie o película nunca está de más antes de ir a dormir o, para esas noches que cuesta conciliar el sueño. También para las familias con pequeños, para hacerles más ameno las horas dentro de la habitación del hotel.

Luxurious coffee and a generous breakfast, the staff is very and friendly. The hotel has a great location near the shopping center and it is near the beach with car. Free parking is available around the hotel. The room is spacious and clean. Downside: Poor Wi-Fi, and room 109 has a strong smell of cigarettes.

Habitación cuádruple extragrande, camas muy cómoda

La habitación cuádruple es súper grande, hay sitios para aparcar justo al lado del hotel (por lo menos en agosto), el aire acondicionado funciona a la perfección, y además permite dos ambientes (para cada espacio con camas), el hotel está muy bien ambientado y tanto el chekin como el checkout súper rápido. Como única pega: la nevera no enfría nada, supongo que cada vez que sales la nevera se apaga y como que es mini, no da tiempo a enfriar nada

Las habitaciones para ser de cuatro estrellas deja mucho que desear El personal del hotel las dos muchachas super simpáticas y amables, pero el hombre que había por las noches de simpático nada Después la habitación y el baño lo limpiaron fatal. El váter metido en un hueco que no te dan ganas ni de ir, la ducha sin presión alguna el agua, las almohadas olían a otra persona y súper incómodas, la butaca de la habitación con manchas.... No creo que vuelva a coger este hotel la verdad

Vale mucho la pena

Mi esposo y yo estuvimos dos noches en el hotel. La verdad es que casi todo fue perfecto. Desde la atención en la recepción hasta en el restaurante, muy buena. El desayuno excelente, lo recomiendo 100%. La habitación muy limpia y bien equipada.El aire acondicionado, perfecto para estos dias de inmenso calor en Almería. El único contra que encontramos fue la conexión a la wifi, muy inestable. Vale destacar que para nosotros nos resultó contraproducente porque necesitabamos trabajar usando la conexion a Internet. Sin embargo, para el uso normal de ocio de los dispositivos moviles, no creo que genere mayor problema. Cuando volvamos a Almería, de paseo, seguro los tendremos nuevamente en cuenta.

À FUIR !!

Ce séjour a été horrible ! Dés lors de notre arrivée, nous avons aperçu que les draps étaient sales, des poils et de la poussière étaient présents sur le lit ! Du jamais vu ! Nous avons alors appelé la femme de ménage qui a changé les draps. Elle a pris les anciens draps et en a mis de nouveaux. Le lendemain l’hôtel nous envoie un message très menaçant qui prétends qu’on aurait volé les draps alors que c’est la femme de ménage qui les avaient changé. Horrible ! Je vous conseille donc de FUIR CET HÔTEL qui est très MAUVAIS.
