Really enjoyed our stay here, tried to book an extra night because of how comfortable we felt here but accommodation was fully booked which was fine. Parking straight outside our room was really handy. Staff were friendly. Check in and check out were easy. One of our favour stays in Queenstown so far.

Ideal location, easy parking, great views. Excellent value for the price.

Very friendly staff

Very nice, well appointed property. We had a nice view of the mountains and the lake. We were able to walk to all our activities. Would have been even better if the clothes dryer was working.

Check in was smooth. There were parking available on site albeit limited but we managed to find a space for the two nights we were there. The place is really convenient and a nice walk into Queentown centre. All in all satisfied with our stay.

Fantastic, reasonably priced and comfortable

Our stay was wonderful! The room exceeded expectations with its generous size, comfort, and thoughtful amenities. The bathroom's jacuzzi was an absolute luxury, and we thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic views from our balcony. The motel's location is perfectly situated. Based on our experience, I can confidently recommend this accommodation!

Lovely accommodation, everything you could need, we were there over weekend so very quiet until Monday morning as road repairs and road closure outside motel. Not anyone’s fault but there are loads of road repairs in queenstown at the moment.

We had a great stay. Room was spacious and well appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good wi-fi and kitchen facilities. Close to the main Town centre and also only a few minutes drive to the retail and restaurants of Frankton. I would highly recommend it.

Very good spacious comfortable room. Easy walk to city. road works around the area was a bit of a problem but easy enough to work around.

2 of 3 night's were relatively quiet but the 3rd was ruined by road construction outside our unit all night. Motel sent a message saying minimal impact would occur but reality was much different. Would choose another location until project completion

Our room had 2 bathrooms for the 4 of us which was a big plus. Many amenities like towel heaters, heated floors and heat pumps for each main room. Good location walkable to town and easy access to bus stops but during our stay road work closed the nearest bus stop. Room was very clean. My only complaint would be the beds which were a little too springy for our taste. I would recommend this motel.

Nice locatio os any easy walk to the Botanical Garden

Great place to stay. Very convenient to everything (walking distance) . Road construction in area but not a factor, just a small detour. Recommend for all.

Fantastic space and view, close to town and easy to get to and from

Great staff and amazing views

Hotel staff was very friendly and even offered me a free upgrade to a room with a kitchenette. The room itself was 'cozy' but modern and very clean. The view from the patio was absolutely amazing and it is relatively close to town, if you don't mind a somewhat steep uphill walk to get back to the hotel. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Excellent location, 5 minutes walk to the town centre. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Convenient location. Some construction outside but we didn’t notice any noise disruption. Beautiful view of the mountains. Short walk (5 min) to the town center although is uphill on the way back.

Good motel, 10-15 stroll down the hill to the Queenstown shops, restaurants and bars. Rooms were very well presented and extremely clean. Plenty of parking was available. The site is close to the main road but our room was quiet, couldn't really hear cars or other guests. This was our second stay at this motel within a few days. Only issue was the dryer still didn't work well on this visit the same drying cycle on the same type of Maytag dryer in other motels we stayed at on the trip dried our clothes completely, but it required two full cycles (at extra cost to us) to dry a moderate load. Not ideal having to pay more and wait longer than we should have for the clothes to be dried.

If you advertise laundry facilities guests expect them to be functioning properly, or at least fixed asap once an issue is known.

Great motel and great staff. Highly recommended

First time staying and found everything really good. Only note is the shower must have a leak at the base as water was coming out into the rest of the bathroom (only slowly) but did make the floor slippery. Great host when we checked in!

Great location. Lovely view to The Remarkables. Excellent spot to see the Aurora Australis. Friendly staff at check in. Nice to have air con in room. One improvement would be to have the key drop box accessible out of office hours.

Great place to stay thanks

Really stinky smell from Aircon/heat pump, the owners attitude was disappointing - not very sympathetic. After a long drive I was looking forward to relaxing but it was hard to do with the smell in the room. Otherwise everything was ok.. parking at the door is handy. The location is the main advantage for this property, it is close to the shops and bars.

Road works noise and inconvenience we’re not aware before arrival

The property is well appointed, plenty of room, Kitchen has plenty of cups, plates and cooking utensils. Unfortunately there is a lot of roadworks in Queenstown... much of it right outside of this motel. If you are driving its inconvenient to access. If you do not have a car (which we did not) there are barriers preventing access to the bus stops right across the street. We had to walk blocks to get to the hotel. Plus the barriers shift at times - apparently at the whim of the construction crews. Our final night we had to walk an additional distance as the pathway to access had changed. Additionally one night they worked until 3 or 4 AM.

Very clean and tidy motel Owner very helpful and obliging

We were dropped off by the bus on a very busy highway, on the other side. There was no access to the motel. It is all cut off by construction fencing and heavy equipment (including trucks, graders, excavators) for many blocks. We had heavy luggage and had to walk a very long distance to try to get into the property. When we checked in we told the guy “an email warning us or a sign would have been nice” and he stared at us like he didn’t know what we were talking about. The construction made the entire place shake all day and went on at night as well. The air conditioning didn’t work. The mattresses are worn out. Cracks in the shower floor. Filthy couch. Cigarette burns. Place was like a frat house. Overpriced. I finally complained and he said “you came in here with a bad attitude and you could have had your money back” but of course we were trapped as this was later in the day and there were no vacancies anywhere. Our flight was not for two days so we were stuck. What a rip off - over $800 for two nights.

Some construction and roadworks around the motel.

The place is new, fresh and clean. The only problem lies not with the motel but the Queenstown road builders, who apparently never stop. Be warned that your taxi/drive cannot turn into Dublin street (where the Motel is) from Frankton Road, even though it's right beside it. Don't know how long that's going to last.

The motel room was very spacious and had a well equipped kitchen. It was very comfortable. There is considerable road construction around the property that made it less convenient than it would normally be (not the fault of the motel but just FYI). The motel is not in the center of town, but it is possible to walk to the park and the town center. We had a room on the bottom level which meant our view was of our car. It appeared that the upper level rooms would have great views. Queenstown is beautiful! This motel was a good value.

Nice motel but mattresses were disappointing. Both my husband and I and our daughter did not enjoy our beds.

Despite the road works outside of the property it was an excellent location, comfortable and clean accomodation. Parking is a bit tight. Otherwise great pkace to stay

Lovely place to stay, close enough to town. Had a toaster, bench and plates etc but no sink had to use the bathroom sink but that was a minor thing. Only real down fall was the roadworks that closed off the street, but this cant be helped.

Great location making it an easy walk into town. Small kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to make breakfast. Some bathroom and shower tiles were damaged or cracked and need replacing but everything was immaculately clean. Would stay here again.

There is a static like noise in the room which makes it very hard to sleep or relax.

A lot of road works around the area which made it hard to access motel. Service was great. A little noisy with night time roads works.

Very comfortable property a short walk from the heart of Queenstown.

The person who checked us elderly travelers in was kind and got help to carry our heavy luggage up to the second floor. The room was very clean and bed plus pillows were super comfortable. Nice kitchenette and bathroom with a shower and separate jacuzzi type tub. It’s location was a 10 minute walk to downtown Queenstown. The only downside was there was alot of road construction (learned it has been going on for last 2 years) in this area of Queenstown and right next to motel. Noisy and dusty, so could open doors to the deck only in the evenings.

Good motel, good location, clean and good conditio

Generally happy with the motel and the the room. It was in a good condition and the bathroom was particularly good. Sadly road was being dug up outside, so was closed, difficult to access. Walls a bit thin, Good access to the centre of Queenstown.

It would be nice for the property to share they had road works outside and therefore had to access from another road. My room was cheap but it was like oh this is a garage lets work out how to make it a room to rent. The parking was tight and I have a medium size car. To fill the kettle I had to stand in the bath and stretch to the nozzle with the jug while turning the tap on as it was half way down the bath. Not sure what an older less able person would do as the kettle did not fit under the sink tap. When I arrived no-one was at the desk and a sign pointed to a button on the phone to call. I did press the button and nothing happened. I waited 30 minutes trying to call 3 times before anyone arrived to help me. Very disappointing.

I had a fround floor unit, which had no view but was very clean and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable after a long day of travelling. The motel is very central to Queenstown cbd and there were restaurants within walking distance

Great motel! Clean large rooms. About 10 min walk to downtown. When we were there, the city was doing construction on the road outside. So work was being done during the evening and night. I slept fine… my husband didn’t. Hopefully it will be done soon!

Would differnitly go back room staff and service was great

Great for short stays

Central location with an easy walk down to the city centre. Located high enough for some pretty views. Room was clean and well-equipped for a short stay. We stayed 6 nights and noticed a few things missing that would have been useful - no wardrobe or hanging space at all, no shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. Staff were helpful.

This was a convenient place to stay for the conference, I was attending. The staff were easy to contact and well organized when I arrive late. My room was safe, warm and clean!

The room was very clean with great amenities. The staff was wonderful.

The better parking spaces were limited at the front of the property. We parked at the back for our unit, but one night we were blocked from exiting because of a larger car in a front space across the driveway. The staff were very polite and unit serviced, clean and comfortable.

Everything was wonderful except the parking. Other than that it was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again.

The staff kept a note and key as we cannot checkin during the office hours. Big and clean room. Close to the town centre.

Handy to town, clean and friendly

We had to walk a bit from the main road to get in, construction blocked the of the place from road so our bus stop, we had an enjoyable ride talking with the driver. The place was very clean, bed was very comfortable. We had a late check-in that was very accommodating. A great value, would stay again.

We had a great stay

15 min walk downhill to town center. Spacious, tidy room. The shower cubicle leaks water, but strong water pressure. Kitchenette makes it easy for a quick meal. Will recommend

Great accomodation in a great location

We only met the manager once briefly in our three day stay. Initial entry into the room and ot was very clean and spacious, however the service once there was not good. For one, the water would fluctuate between cold and hot often and showering was difficult. Once the room was serviced, the sink and toilet was not cleaned, dishes not washed and a book was left on the floor. Also, manager was never at his desk during office hours and we had difficulty in getting towels, the last night as there were no phones in the room and we did not have a NZ phone, we did not have washcloths our last night. Spacious room but the service was not good.

Nice place, easy late check in and early check out.

Enjoyable Stay

Good location with Queenstown town centre about 10 minutes walk away. Decent sized rooms with good facilities. Quiet at night and overall i would stay here again.

Disappointing. Room required repairs

The room on face value was quite modern, but overall we were disappointed. The bathroom fan didn’t work, neither did the kitchen range hood. The apartment ended up stinking between a mix of cooking and bathroom smell. We reported it but nothing was done. There was also no privacy opaque blind on the bedroom, so the curtain had to be drawn all the time to prevent people from looking straight in. This meant we couldn’t admire the view. There was construction directly in front of the hotel which filled the room with dust. This isn’t the hotels fault but we would have booked elsewhere if we had known. We also had to ask for basics like toilet paper and towels.

Nice studio

Nice well equipped studio in good central location a short walk from town centre. Would benefit from net curtains or something similar to have some privacy when the curtains are open.

One thing we were disappointed with was that there was no wardrobe nor iron in the room there was an iron in the laundry but that was 20 meters away. And in our unit we could hear the sounds from above and next door. But very clean and comfortable and close to town.

Great value for the price!

Such a wonderful experience! Great location walkable to Queenstown shops (there is a hill if mobility is an issue). Such friendly service. We arrived before check-in and they were just finishing our room and let us check-in early, which was such a relief after long international flight. They even gave us milk for our tea and coffee. Loved having the extra space of the living room to enjoy when we weren’t out exploring. Bed was comfy! Bathroom was updated and very nice, although lacking a bit of counter space. Wonderful overall experience!

Kitchen with no sink

The motel was nice and modern except weirdly the ‘kitchenette’ in my studio did not have a sink. I didn’t need one for the short time I was there but I presume that if you did use some dishes that you needed to wash (cleaning items were provided), you would have to do so in the bathroom sink.

We had an excellent stay over the weekend. We had previously been staying at one of the bigger hotels for a conference and added a couple of nights here after that and liked it more, lovely room, lovely spa bath, very clean, very comfortable bed, modern kitchen the only thing I could point out was the outside lights are left on at night and that got a bit to get used to but great curtains and blinds. Will definitely stay again.

MIssing a hanging rail for shirts & suit Otherwise very good, would stay here in preference to a hotel room.

Awesome family holiday

Awesome stay! Massive apartment for our family of 4 with great facilities in the rooms including heat pumps, two bathrooms and a full kitchen. A awesome extra would be a washing machine/dryer in the room.

Fantastic stay

Fantastic stay at the Outline Motel. Beautiful views with a track for walks or biking along the lakes edge. Very close to town and bus stop. The room was great and a very comfortable bed. Would stay Again.
