Great stay beautiful beach views.
Where do I start?? For the entire week that we stayed there our room hasn’t been cleaned once!! You’ll need to beg for clean towels, toilet paper ant paper towel roll. I called three times for a roll of paper towels and I. The evening was told that if I needed it I should have gone downstairs myself to get it. Everything is so run down and plain old. We paid over $400 a night for the room with no service, no toiletries, dead power outlets . This was the worst experience so far.
We were stranded without accommodations and booked Atrium last minute. We were impressed with the size of our unit. Very clean, comfortable mattress fully stocked kitchen. This place is walkable to beaches, bars, shopping, and restaurants. Would stay again!
Nice hotel, good position, good staff.
excellent location, good staff, rooms need update
very good location and very friendly professional staff. the hotel itself could use a update and refresh for the rooms as they (while good) are worn.
Budget Luxury
We stayed due to a cancelled flight. The hotel is a true three star. The staff was professional. The property and room was clean and had al plenty of amenities. Full fridge, microwave, stove, sink and dishwasher. Partial view. If you're ok with a non luxury room, this is the spot. We enjoy both so it was a win for us.
The staff was friendly and helpful. I like that its close to the beach.
This is a boutique style property. It is accessible to many activities and night life. Close to the Atrium, the restaurants quieted down around 10p. They were still open but just respectful of the noise level. My room faced the street and the mountains. It was a lovely look with the lights shining over the water. The beach area is well maintained with help available each step of the way. The front desk staff was ALWAYS AVAILABLE. Helpful and so very friendly. I had such a nice time. Cannot wait to return. Great Location
Great location in Simpson Bay with lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance. Beach is nice and beach chairs provided. Friendly front desk staff. Pool isn't the greatest, but we didn't need it since beach is right there.
Convenient, quiet lots of dining options!
Good choice
Very convenient to beach, restaurants and bars. Units are a good size and well equipped. The front desk staff go out of their way to meet your every need and they do it with a smile! A great asset to the Atrium and guests.
I like Atrium mistly for the location. There are lots of dining and grocery shopping options in walking distance. Our room this time seemed like it was cleaned in a rush although we checked in at the regular check in time. Someone's shape wear was left behind a piece of furniture in the room and there was also a dirty rag lying on the kitchenette counter top. Besides the latter, I have no complaints.
Great place to stay!
The Atrium is a great place to stay! The front desk, especially Dawn, is AWESOME! Martin keeps the place safe and secure! I recommend the Atrium if you are looking for a place to stay while visiting the island.
The staff was wonderful. Nice, charming, friendly people. Can't wait to come back.
Easy walk to Restaurants, shopping and groceey store.
Love the location, so convenient to great restaurants, entertainment (especially the Red Piano Bar!), and beaches. The staff is friendly and helpful!
The people that work at the Atrium make it work coming back to again and again. It's centrally located with all near by. Supermarket, restaurants and beach.
The location of the property is very nice. Lots of restaurants in walking distance.
everything was good the staff was really friendly
The ground floor was a bit noisy as expected but overall everything went well.
Location of the property was perfectly close to entertainment and multiple dining options. The design of the lobby definitely gives you a welcome to the tropics. I was able to check in early without any issues which I appreciate. All Staff were very friendly and helpful. The cafe in the lobby was great way to start my mornings, Marlon is very knowledgeable and a good source to get ideas for what you can do on the island especially if you’re just winging it day to day. The property is very clean the pool and beach are literally steps away. I highly recommended anyone to stay here and will be coming back.
Accomplished its main task.
Proximity to the French side of the island.l, Restaurants and beaches.
.
lovely property, room was spacious with kitchen. Within vicinity of the strip full of restaurants and lounges. I was lucky to have a beach view and sunsets were beautiful
Very nice
Very nice
The hotel is okay for the price. TV never works. This was my second stay in two months. I had different rooms on each occasion and in both rooms the tv did not work properly.
My encounter with the staff at the front desk when I initially arrived was awful. She was rude!
The customer service was excellent 👌
The fact that its close to everything an right on the beach. What i did not like was the toilet did not work for like a day i guess they was working on it an one of the AC units was not working but overall it was good
Staff were superb!! Very welcoming and always greeted guests with great smiles and enthusiasm. Rooms very spacious and clean.
The warm and friendly greeting by the reception staff set the tone for our spontaneous weekend getaway. Check in was quick and easy. The room was nice and clean. The reception staff was also very helpful in assisting us with some bookings at the on-site spa. All in all we had a very, very pleasant experience as usual.
The front desk staff was terrific all week!
I love it
Clean and easy access to beautiful beach. Limited number of channels on TV when they worked.
The hotel was just fine for the week we were there... It did not stand out as anything special but it was not terrible. AC worked great (which is a must there), bed was semi comfortable, the beach was beautiful, the pool was very small (but who needs a pool when you have a beautiful beach).... Expedia on the other hand did us over on the booking as when we were booking it said bay view but our room was not....
We just needed one night in a studio which was good value. Close to the beach and restaurants and quiet. Staff courteous and helpful. Will keep in mind for future.
Staff friendly and nice
A great property.
My stay was good, but why wasn’t excellent, the AC unit send off a little foul scent, which I had turned off the unit. That was my only simply problem.
Check in clerks were very friendly and welcoming. I opted for a room facing the street but will definately opt for seaview another time. Getting to sleep was difficult due to the lights from outside and the lobby shining into the room. The bed was rather comfortable so no complaint about that. Checking out was a breeze, met a very friendly clerk, Ms van Putten. She was very pleasant and got me on my way in no time.
The staff are very friendly and polite and they were very nice from the beginning to the end of my stay thank you.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, room and balcony was perfect size
Very Helpful staff & friendly, close to everything.
I have stayed at Atrium for years as my go t hotel for overnights to catch flights out of SXM. It’s a convenient location for restaurants and not far from the airport. It’s nice to see they continue ie to keep the property fresh and refurbished…large rooms with full kitchens, modern batheoom and super clean with a comfy bed AND pillow choices
The staff was very friendly and willing to assist with the help I acquired.
Loved the location, it’s around so many great restaurants, good parking, friendly reception staff.
Upkeep with the window treatment is required. The rods were broken and curtains stained, dirty and dusty. The rooms were clean but definitely needs an upgrade.
Atrium is my usual getaway spot and every trip is just like the last. Perfect.
Excellent Stay!!! My only complaint is the balcony door broke and couldn’t lock ! Other than that it was great!
Security and parking
Recommend for vacation
Enjoyed our stay.
Nice place, nice location, great value! I’ll be back.
My Stay was amazing,
My overall experience at this property was exceptional! From the beginning to the end of my stay, I’ve received exemplary service. The room was absolutely gorgeous and the way everything was so accessible a plus for me. I’ll definitely be back.
Outstanding
The hotel as a whole is outstanding and affordable. And the staff is over-the-top excellent.
it was a little disappointing as there are no resturants in the hotel no breakfast just a small kiosk in the lobby. all rooms are king size bed no twin beds and sofa bed was horrible it was not moneys worth
Excellent for the price. Great views, great location, friendly staff. Would stay again.
Nice people . Clean place great location
The staff was very nice especially the front desk people as well as the bartenders etc. My only issue is we stayed 6 days and 5 nights and not once did they come in and clean our room even after i requested service. They did provide fresh towels everyday . But would not sweep clean mop or change bed linen our entire stay. That was very frustrating.
Our recent stay at The Atrium Hotel in St. Maarten had its ups and downs. Room 306 offered a partial ocean view blocked by construction, and an upgrade was prohibitively expensive at an additional $400 USD. The room included a mix of functional and outdated amenities; notably, the dusty air conditioner along with dusty table lamps. The bathroom was spacious but showed water damage and incomplete renovations. Missing conveniences included a clothesline in the shower and a non-functional safe with no instructions. The coin-operated laundry required obtaining quarters from the front desk, which was cumbersome. The small kitchenette sink made dishwashing difficult. Coffee packs were a one time courtesy as told by a front desk person. Interaction with the staff varied; while Aisha was consistently helpful, others were less accommodating, and communication about hotel policies was often confusing. Housekeeping was limited to once a week -which was fine, we did not know about the garbage and bathroom towel replenishment schedule. The recreational facilities were underwhelming, with shallow pools that was very close to the Buccaneer Bar. We did not know the blue chairs and umbrellas were the only ones for guests - not yellow ones. The Atrium Hotel has potential but needs improvement in customer care and maintenance. The hotel is a fit at being a basic 3 star hotel. It does live up to the star rating that many people rate it as.
This property was very clean. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I was nice that chairs, umbrellas and beach towels were available to us everyday. It was a very short walk past the pool and restaurant to the beach. I would stay at this hotel again.
This is our second time at Atrium hotel. The reception staff really makes you feel welcome and provided all information necessary for our trip. The suites are well-appointed and the beach and pool area are beautiful.
Excellent staff very helpful and courteous enjoyed the facility thank you
Beautiful harbor view and beach.
No view. Could barely open or close patio door. Took hours to get maintenance to my room.
I've stayed at The Atrium many times and it never disappoints. Very convenient for my short trips in and out of St. Maarten. Will definitely be back in a few weeks.
The facilities in the condo were excellent and everything one needed was provided. The staff were so courteous, helpful and friendly and will definitely be going back to the Atrium - the beach facilities were very good indeed. Thank you so much.
Great love it and will be back
Updates needed & pools are dirty
Will stay again
Very convenient to beach, bars and restaurants in Simpson bay. Staff was great.
Amazing service. We loved the area as first timers.
The hotel has been updated significantly since our last stay. Numerous restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Only complaint is that the dance club that is between Atrium and Royal Palm is so loud. They play their music and bass sound so loud at times you can feel it vibrating in the room. If you want quiet at night stay somewhere else.
Staff are fantastic! Friendly, helpful and accommodating. Everything is clean, well-kept, and comfortable. Building is a little older, but appliances are updated and bathrooms are modern. Beds are comfortable. We will be back!
Our view from the 8th floor was amazing! Staff was welcoming and helpful We had a great stay
Loved our stay at the Atrium. Sayed Feb 29-March 7, 2024. Spacious condo and we opted for an ocean view room. Clean and spacious to say the least. Friedly staff and very helpful with advice about the island and areas around Simpson Bay. I would easily stay here again and cannot recommend this stay enough.
Nice hotel, good size room with full kitchen. The bathrooms have been remodeled and updated really nice! The elevators were slow and had some issues with shaking and I thought it was going to break down. It's odd the pool is right beside a restaurant and people can watch you, kind of creepy with no privacy. The guy running the sandwich shop was really nice and friendly. Recommend trying his sandwiches, they're a good price too.
During our stay all floor started cracking up in front of our bed and we had to move to different room. They give us much better room but it was inconvenient to move after few days of stay. No normal room service you have to ask for everything. Never stay again
The staff was helpful and friendly, amazingly based on the rudeness of some of the people staying there. This is an older property but so very convenient. Good service Typical fighting with old people that get up at 6 am to reserve beach chairs and then don't show up until noon. But that is most resorts. Deal with it Compared to most places lots of services and close to everything.
The location is great, but the service including dropping our bags without apology, the poor service at the front desk, and the very outdated rooms would make me not recommend this hotel.
I was somehow locked in the bedroom and we called the front desk may times for help but nosnody came. We opened the door somehow. Fire detector turned on while I was in the shower.
Checking in at the Resort was a kind of awkward I wanted to pay for my 3-day stay upfront with no explanation, they wanted to block my Credit Card. But with a little explaining, I was able not to get my credit card block thank you.
Iwas happy with the size of the room but was told it was an ocean view and it was a bay view
The staff was first rate. We were moved to this property because of a mixup with our reservation with Expedia. Although we didn’t get the full ocean view we wanted the staff provided several options and made our experience fantastic. Great customer service.
Great location on Simpson Bay
The room had everything we needed for our week in St. Maarten (coffee maker, fridge, microwave, etc). Location was great, we could walk to several restaurants and bars. The hotel provides beach chairs and umbrellas. Only negative was the pool was very small and uninviting - we never used it.
Wonderful property. Near restaurants, casino, shopping and grocery store. The grocery store that is close is a little expensive so taking a drive to the carrefour market is a better choice. Staff is nice. Gates lock at night so feels safe. Pool is a little small but good for a quick dip and the beach is right there. Nice beach with free chairs because of the stay there. Other beaches you have to pay for the beach chairs. Water is nice.
Affordable, near to MANY restaurants and groceries. Walking distance to several restaurants or easy to take a $1.50 bus to several beaches, restaurants and shopping. I had a great view. Clean rooms with kitchen, tv, comfortable beds, but they did not tidy our room well during our stay. Pool was so gross. Hotel is 2mins walk from the beach, but its not a great beach at all. Ensure you have water shoes, very mossy and cloudy. Staff were a bit rude and unhelpful at times despite claiming to have a concierge service. They did not assist me with the car rental that THEY advertise. Otherwise a good stay.
It was nice
My last stay was in Nov 1999, unfortunately this time it felt like nothing have been updated since .
Have stayed at Atrium numerous times and all staff is super friendly and helpful.
Virtually no wi-fi
If using Wi-Fi is of even the slightest importance to you, immediately skip this property. At best the connection is dial up. For all other purposes, this is a rather attractive hotel, very comfortable, great location and very well equipped.
Paid for beach view didn't get it but didnt fuss about it either but overall place ok
I liked the access at night
I love this property. Have stayed at many hotel in Simpson Bay Area and Atrium is my overall favorite. Rooms are clean, felt safe, staff is great, parking is amazing. Highly Recommend
Was nice and clean good veiw
Had a short staycation here (I live in Anguilla) and I loved it. Originally booked it because the description said there was a bathtub, which turned out to be false (discussed with the hotel via text beforehand) and considered cancelling but I'm so glad I kept the reservation. Great location close to the airport, bus route, beach, supermarket, several restaurants, and great property overall.
LOUSY WIIFII NO VIEW , YOU SAID OCEAN VEIW

Will not stay there again
The hotel is really outdated, doesn't have a place to get breakfast early in the morning, but most importantly the great majority of the staff was extremely rude, I'm not sure why. It seemed like every request I made was bothering them, even just asking for the wifi password. I will not stay there again.
