Virtual check in has problems with contacts. No one ever at front desk. Access code should be provided before arrival. Suite is very nice though and location is perfect for restaurants, Acropolis, shopping, etc.

Very nice and clear

close to the Metro and shopping dinning places. Nice room with almost everything. Front desk stuff are nice and contactable，also nicely helped arranged Uber when we met some language problem. Somewhat noisy from the street at night，but doesn't bother me.

Perfect stay

My second time, and just as great as the first. Well managed, great location, clean, and comfortable. What more can you ask for.

Suites were spotless, well stocked, safe, comfy and luxurious. The host, Christina was very responsive and made checkin and check out seamless. The building itself can use some TLC but that's outside management's control. It is, however, very centrally located, walking distance to everything. Elevators worked well and access to the building and suites' floor was very secure. I visit Athens often and will be back staying here. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for those things I listed above for really good value.

Would highly recommend Athens Design Suites, the location is fantastic in walking distance to all the main attractions and numerous bars and restaurants. The room was very clean and spacious with everything we needed and more. We were given clear instructions on how to access the property and suite and the host was on hand available for anything we needed during our stay. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had no problems. We found the apartment with no issues. The access instructions were clear and easy to follow. The apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were helpful. The location is good for exploring central Athens.We enjoyed our stay.

Great location and value for money

My husband and I had a great stay! Christina was very responsive, the room was exactly as pictured, and the bed was very comfortable. There’s some street noise, but nothing disruptive and we slept great. The location was extremely central to everything we wanted to do, and there’s a grocery store next door if you want to get some supplies.

I traveled solo this time and did not regret it!! My stay was very nice, convenient, easy tourist attractions and plenty of dining options. I highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Athens Design Suites. The room was clean and beautiful. We enjoyed the espresso machine and appreciated that it was refilled every day. The hotel is in very convenient location with easy walking access to food, the acropolis and the metro. We would stay here again if we travel to Athens again in the future!

A solid choice for an affordable stay in Athens. The suites are built on the 4th floor of a very old and run down building with a private and coded entrance once you get off the elevator. We stayed in the iconic suite which was beautiful, clean, and spacious. It had everything we needed for our short stay. It is not your traditional hotel with 24-hour reception, but the rooms were cleaned daily and the building manager was always available to help and answer questions through text/WhatsApp. She helped arrange transportation to/from the airport which is really appreciated! The iconic suite faced the street and did get quite noisy, but not to the point where it woke us up or didn’t allow us to sleep. The shower also had an issue with the drain and did get the floors wet, but we were provided with some extra towels to get by. The location of the building is so close to the city center and everywhere else someone visiting Athens may want to see. Overall, I think it is worth it for the very low price and convenience.

We had a lovely stay at Athens Design Suites. Beautiful and clean room and they treated us to wine and chocolate for our honeymoon! Would definitely recommend

Great property in a wonderful location right in the heart of Athens. The rooms are really clean and updated. You’re a quick walk to endless restaurants and the Acropolis. Christina has done a phenomenal job. She made sure our check in and stay went smoothly and was quick to respond with any questions we might have. Would highly recommend staying at this property!

Very close to Monastiraki square and Plaka. Very convenient for shopping and a lot of options for dining.

The place was great. Lots of room, clean, great bed. Would definitely stay there again. Only thing is the building. Once you get up to the 4th floor and walk into the suites it transforms.

It was a very good place to stay. Very good Environment and very safe. Had one issue, but they addressed it.Very quickly. Definitely, will stay there again.It's in a perfect location.

Can’t say enough about how awesome this place was. The host was incredibly helpful to us as we were traveling and she also accommodated us by holding our luggage for part of the day while we waited on our flight. Taxis were always readily available and it is close to everything you need or want in Athens. Room was also top notch.

the apartment is in a great spot to restaurants/sightseeing and shopping! But REALLY NEEDS A WASHING MACHINE FOR GUESTS!

We stayed here for our one day stay in Athens. Initially, looks are deceiving - the building entrance is a little sore on the eyes. Once inside Athenian Design Suites, it’s completely different. We stayed in Cozy Suite, it was very clean and just enough space for 2. The bed is comfortable and ac works well. The location of the hotel is perfect. We were about a 10 minute walk to the Acropolis, 2 minutes from the square and shopping. Remember, Athens is a big city. So at night you do hear some noises from the Main Street. Christina, the host, is honestly what made our stay so wonderful. Her communication was exceptional. We landed very early, she told us where to go for brunch while our room was prepared. She also arranged taxi services to and from the airport, as well as gave some delicious dinner recommendations! Overall, would recommend this stay!

The room was very spacious and modern and the location was super convenient— just steps away from Monastiraki Square! Christine was fabulous, and helped book our transfers. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful clean apartment right near monastirari and center of Athens, easily accessible to train station which is prime way to get around the city. Hotel manager was prompt, responded quickly and ensured a nice stay. Would stay here again!

We had a quick one night stay in Athens and The Athens Design suites is in the best location. Close to absolutely everything you want and need for a stay in Athens. Christina was so helpful and quick with her responses. She helped us arrange airport transfer and was easy to communicate with for things like early check in and luggage storage. The room was spacious and very elegant. Only warning is if, you don’t like stairs or small European elevators, you need to keep in mind it’s on the 4th floor. Otherwise, thank you Athens Design Suites! We would definitely rebook and recommend!

The room and central location were great! We never did see the proprietors, but they communicated with us via email giving us the codes to get to our rooms. I’d stay there again!

It was centrally located, with many dining options all within walking distance. Also tourist sites are close by. The suite itself is spacious and comparable to 3 star properties. Highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon in October 2023. We had the most amazing experience staying here! We felt totally safe, and it was in such a perfect location - walkable to everything! We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting to Athens! we enjoyed our stay very much in the athens designed rooms; we‘re good accustomed from christina the host. it was close to the shops and the restaurant. traffic etc was just a bit too loud to sleep durung the night.

We stayed here for a couple of days and enjoyed every bit of it! The rooms were lovely, a big bed, cool airconditioning and a comfortable shower. As other people mentioned the street-noise may be the only thing to complain about. The hotel is located at the perfect spot in front of public transport and in the middle of the shopping/eating district. Everything important is within walking distance. Our host Christina made sure we had a lovely time there. We would definitely book again!
