as a regular visitor to Athens, this was my first stay at this beautiful property… Everything was great, but the staff stood out in our minds as extraordinary

The rooftop bar had amazing views of the Acropolis at sunset. The staff at the bar and restaurant were friendly and helpful. The cafe at the lobby was a great retreat and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied for all tastes. We have no hesitation in returning.

Our rooms were extremely clean and well maintained. The cleaning staff is impeccable, helpful and friendly. The front desk staff was amazing. They helped us with a confusing reservation, gave good recommendations for unique places to eat and great directions…all with great friendliness. The bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again and again.

Wonderful hotel in perfect central Athens location. Rooms were modern and very comfortable, staff were extremely nice and attentive, breakfast was excellent, and there's a fabulous roof-top bar (and swimming pool) with views of the whole city. This is an extremely well-run place.

Lovely hotel in a conveniently placed part of Athens. Close to transport, shops and restaurants. The hotel also has a lovely roof top pool and restaurant. Staff and service were amazing especially in the pool/restaurant.

Beautiful hotel. Wish they had a larger lounge facility. Present facility is most often packed with new guests, luggage and departures as it is also connected to reception area.

This was our first time at the Capital. First of all the hotel is beautiful and clean. Secondly, the staff were all courteous and friendly. Thirdly, the rooftop and breakfast restaurants served amazing food. We especially appreciate the staff at the rooftop restaurant: Stavros, Jason, Alex and Elisia. We were also greeted by the manager Demi! She shared the history of the hotel and made sure we were getting the best service from her team. Finally, we want to THANK the entire team for their 5 star service! We will share our experience at your hotel to our friends and family!!

A lovely hotel. Our stay was most enjoyable and we found the staff warm and friendly. They tried very hard to make our stay comfortable. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel. What’s more the location is awesome. Close to everything, site seeing, fine dining, upscale luxury shopping, etc.

Amazing Hotel in a Great Location

Wow! We are amazed at this hotel for what we paid. Easily one of our top favorite hotels of all time! Everything was perfect from check in to check out. Great location, friendly staff, great food/drink, clean (friendly housekeeping staff), incredible front desk staff that made check in and out easy. We walked to the Acropolis one day. Close and easy to find. Next day, hiked up highest peak in Athens. Also easy to get to.

central control of the a/c system in such a property is quite uncomforting. especially as the main street with cars and bikes never sleeps in front of it, you cannot open window because of noise and you cannot control the a/c in the room yourself either. the result is quite unpleasant to say the least

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff. We were travelling with a baby and they provided baby equipment including a baby bath and toiletries which was a really nice touch. Variety and quality of breakfast was not what I expect for a 5 star hotel at this price point. It was ok but there is much room for improvement.

A gem of a hotel

An absolutely beautiful hotel with the most amazing fragrance once you walk into the lobby. The location was great, the staff were lovely and the rooftop bar had an amazing views of the Acropolis. Perfect setting to have a few drinks before retiring to bed.

Great hotel located in the city center. Loved the roof top restaurant. Food was delicious, great view of the Acropolis, and wonderful entertainment. Short walk to dining and shopping in Plaka. Also very happy with the room and the staff. Would highly recommend.

Some rooms have windows that just view a dark stairwell no natural light able to get in Had I been aware I would have never booked this room type as sunlight is very important to me The hotel was very conveniently located and clean. The staff were friendly

Amazing luxury hotel!

Wonderful property right in the heart of Athens. Staff was great in arranging transportation for us. The staff of the rooftop restaurant provided outstanding service. The views from the rooftop restaurant were unbelievable with memorable sunsets and the illumination of the Acropolis in the evening. Wonderful all the way around, we'll be back!

They have a lovely rooftop bar with an infinity swimming pool overlooking the city. The pool was very sleek and inviting (though very narrow and not for small children or loud play). Bar area and dining tables in a fabulous setting and a wonderful singer on Saturday evenings!

service was top tier. breakfast is rich, fresh and tasty. the room was very clean, although a bit small for 2 persons. hotel's location is at the center, two steps from central station metro.

Great breakfast, modern shower, super friendly

Nice hotel with terrible management. My reservation was prepaid through Expedia. Upon check in I paid to upgrade, paid local taxes, and placed a hold of incidentals. The next morning I received a fraud alert from AMEX, the hotel tried to charge an additional 687 Euros, even though nothing was owed. Meanwhile the hotel and calling my room and put a note under my door to come to the desk asap. Once there, it was clear they made a mistake but would never admit it. I asked why they are making unanuthorized charges - no explanation or apology. The next night at dinner with friends, the hotel manager calls my cell to ask what happened. He clearly called without doing his research. Again, he said I owed no money and had no explanation or apology for the charge. My room key expired after the first night, and there was a welcome note bottle of cheap red in my room for another guest. The property owners would be well advised to rebrand this hotel with a better known international brand with a well trained and honest management team. Honestly and Professionalism is critical for a would be 5 Star Hotel. Also, no Expedia VIP Perk.

Very new and chic

The king size bed rooms are so small anything more then one luggage and two people will not work. The upgrades are super expensive and this hotel can do more to gain a more positive experience. As for the pool. The hotel has over 7 floors of guest rooms yet a total of 4 pool lounge chairs. Ridiculous!!

Best hotel, best location

Hotel and staff, food, rooms were excellent. the sign of a good hotel ( in my opinion) are how comfortable the beds are and these were excellent. we had 3nr rooms, one for myself, my daughter and my sister and we all had the same view.

Gorgeous hotel

Fantastic location right in the centre of Athens. Staff can't do enough to help. Hotel design is great. Generous sized rooms with stunning bathrooms. Only issue is that internal soundproofing could be a lot better.

I had an unscheduled stay in Athens for one night and chose the Athens Capital Centre because of its M-Gallery branding ( I had previous positive experiences with M-Gallery properties). This did not disappoint. Walking distance to the Acropolis and Museum, high end shopping on the doorstep and great dining options both inside and outside of the hotel. The rooftop bar was perfect for lunch. the staff were super friendly and efficient and the room very clean comfortable and quiet. All around a top end experience for an unplanned stay.

This is the best hotel

Location is excellent, the hotel is brand new and everything is in good shape. Staff are well trained, friendly, and professional. However, quite a few rooms (mine!) have windows that face a wall (less than a meter away) or stairs. It's shameful and depressing, really. No natural light and the prospect of people walking by and looking in.

Very nice hotel with great amenities. Unfortunately public areas like pool and lobby don't have enough space and are always so crowded you can hardly find a place to sit.

Hotel rooms had all the modern conveniences and good space. The staff were friendly and very helpful, giving good recommendations for restaurants and service at the hotel. It's close to good shopping and sights, also very accessible by the subway. It's a great location and a great hotel, enjoyed our stay with our two kids.

This hotel is sheer elegance. The service is superb -- with room cleaning twice a day. The staff was kind and helpful, and the rooftop dining area gives a perfect sense of tranquility. I truly enjoyed the stay.

The hotel has an excellent location away from the noise, but still close to all the tourist main spots. Very clean hotel, but staff lacks training and food choices are minimum and expensive. The roof top pool is a combination of restaurant, bar and swimming, combined together where the logic makes no sense - for example cooking at the bar table and having to smell grease from the fryer while having a drink - really bad and I am not the type of person to be complaining! The potential to be an amazing hotel is there, but some common hotel hospitality know-how is needed.

It was good in general however the following need to be consider: 1- we did not get the room except at 3 pm 2- language is an issue for some of the staff 3- price was very high especially when we needed an extra night. 4- it was a limited supply of water in the room.

Worst experience ever, please avoid!

Most likely the worst check in I had in my entire life. The Holidays inn in your neighborhood would have a better service. They lost one of my reservation, argue with them for 10 mins… and the whole story would take 5 chapters to write… at the end I am paying for a room I never used… a pure s - h - i - t show! Avoid at all cost! I traveled around the world for 10 years plus and … this was the the creme de la creme in terms of bad experience!
