Excellent stay, everything was taken care of and all staff were very nice. Everything in the room was good and nice service all around. Big property and spacious rooms as well.

Good facilities (particularly the spa)!and very attentive staff. Location is not ideal but does have the advantage of being spaced Monday between the business, shopping and beach areas. Recommended.

We enjoyed our stay and access to the club qith separate check in and check out. The staff was top notch!! We will stay again, just wish there were more private outside areas to relax.

A bit far for tourists to visit the Acropolis etc in AthensThe walk to the nearest subway station entailed crossing a high speed roadway so fairly dangerous. Hotel seemed basically for conventions and airline crew and not so convenient for tourists and leisure travelers

The neighborhood was very blue color with graffiti and run down buildings. Not that I was put off by it. Seeing different ends if the Socioeconomic stratum coexisting reminded me of NYC, but usually Intercontinental hotels are in an upscale area. I enjoyed my stay. No worries!

Lovely old hotel in the center of Athens. Ours was very large with a big balcony and beautiful view of Mt. Etna - especially at night. Hospitality team are welcoming and helpful Food was very good and rooftop bar was delightful. Kind staff, nice music and amazing view of city and Etna at night. My wife was thrilled with the spa area and the treatment. Both treatment and staff in spa were well trained and wonderful. The hotel is ready for an update, but that is only reason for not being 5 stars. We would recommend to anyone staying in this area.

Very clean, friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Surrounding areas is a bit noisy at night, but overall i recommend it.

I boked a club room. The facilities were great and the view from the Club Lounge; one of the best in Athens.

There were days when we had NO housekeeping service / we called three times for towels / saw bugs on the curtains and crawling lizards in the bathroom!

I booked a twin 2 single bed room and upon arrival they placed me in a double bed room. I had to ask and get it changed. Very inconvenience when you had a long late flight. I had to call a number of times for extra towels when they knew two people were staying in the room this could be improved. No places nearby for food so a bit of a walk. Also an outdoor swimming pool which no one used. Indoor swimming pools would be better because no one want to be swimming when there is a dining restaurant nearby. No privacy in the swimming pool and it looked closed.

There is a city tax fee that is brought up at the end when checking out. Could catch you off guard.

Convenient Location

Convenient location of the hotel to city center and Acropolis. The room was great and beds were super comfortable. The breakfast quality was very average and the staff didn't seem very engaged. The bell captain and staff were super friendly & made arrival/departure smooth.

The hotel overall seemed nice. But.... the room...The bed was broken and the remote control for tv was broken and tv didn't work. The lady in the breakfast buffet was rude.

This hotel provides a true 5-star experience and is extremely comfortable. It’s also within walking distance to the tram, metro and the cool Koukaki neighborhood.

I wish i was staying longer. We stayed on night. The hotel was beautiful. Walking distance to restaurants. They helped us set up transportation to the airport for 10 people.

My family only stayed one night. But this was a really nice hotel and the room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again and recommend this place.

I like the fact that the hotel has modern amenities and it is usually clean. One small problem, however, is that sometimes the workers come in to clean and forgot to replace shower gel in bathroom, or they come in to clean, take away the used towels and fail to replace them with new ones. We had to remind them about 3 times (separate days) about these things. Not sure if they simply forget things often or if they are not paying close attention to what they are doing. Otherwise, our stay was pleasant.

Dated property. Old room, uncomfortable beds and extremely squeaky couch to sleep for kids. Beds were NOT set up. Had to wait extra for bed sheets after checking in. No conditioner in the bathroom. TV extremely pixelated (bad reception).

The hotel lobby and amenities are 5 star. The rooms we had were very large with a nice seating area and two double beds that had good linens. The overall look is a bit dated in the two rooms we stayed in.

Nice hotel, but doesn’t compare to other intercontinental hotels I have stayed in. The rooms are quite outdated and do not reach the standard you would expect. The best part of the hotel were the staff, everybody was helpful and friendly.

The hotel is in a serious need of renovation, this could not be an intercontinental property. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, I share this same feedback before and the manager call me to let me know that they understand the need of renovation and they will start in November of this year, and he wanted me to feel a little better and offer me to go the club lounge. He sounded sincere and that is the intercontinental type of staff that goes further for their customers. Staff is Intercontinental class Property is not.

We had a junior suite for a family of 5 and it far exceeded our expectations. We had plenty of space to spread out and 2 full bathrooms, one of which had a full shower and tub. The staff was wonderful and attentive. Location was a 10 minute taxi drive from most things we did. The rooftop bar has a wonderful view of the Acropolis.

Stay in Athens

The staff were extremely polite and accommodating. We got free upgrade as we wanted view of the mountains. Incredibly generous staff. Food was very good especially the fresh orange juice. Excellent stay.

Nice hotel, very comfortable beds. But the pool was out of service without previous notice and not notated on their website. Very long lines checking in and checking out— checking in took 25 minutes. Coffee and basic drink were overpriced and not much else around so you will be paying $8-9 for a cup of coffee or a coke.

We liked the location. Mariza and George were very helpful. The hotel was very clean. The rooms were spacious.

Property needs some love.The breakfast was very expensive.After we spent more then 500 euros per night they would charge us $36 euro for breakfast.

Acropolis views with a welcoming pool

Fabulous hotel with accommodating staff and very helpful spa Staff. The reason for staying here was for the pool which was so so welcoming after the unplanned long walks daily to the acropolis during the heatwave. Was definitely further than we thought from the main site but a taxi returning was only €6 The rooms are large, very comfortable beds and friendly efficient cleaning staff. We did feel the room was very dark and dingy against the white Greek backdrop and wonderful acropolis view. The roof top Restuarant was a Fabulous end to a 3 day walking break before heading off to the port over to Poros. We will definitely be back. Thank you 🙏

Hotel smelled significantly of cigarette smoke. Few places to sit for checkin with a long and very slow checkin process. Beautiful spacious rooftop with accommodating waiters. Snacks provided but tiny amount for 4 people. Pizza ok but with scantily toppings and 1 tiny piece of basil. For the price would have expected more. Room very clean and tidy with iron and board provided. Spacious bathroom with shower and tub, bidet and toilet.No exhaust fan for steamy mirror. Plenty of liquid soap, conditioner, shampoo, and lotion but labels not in English or sign denoting which was which. Would definately recommend for stunning rooftop view of Athens Greece area.

City Break in Athens

All the staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the dishes were continually refreshed. Thank you to all for making our stay very comfortable.

Rooms in the property are older and bath rooms are needed to be updated and carpets in passages to be replaced and pairing is needed to make the rooms and the passages to be brightest. It looks old and dull. Service and staff are exceptional .

Our first hotel room had strong cigars smell and the carpet was very dirty. They changed our room and the second one was better, but the hotel needs renovation

The hotel and the room was really nice. The only negative is the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were also very flat. Everything else was on point, but obviously having a comfortable bed is key when choosing a hotel.

Staff was friendly, helpful and polite. It's a good conference venue and the room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was not included in the rather expensive rate and room service prices are ridiculously high. There are few options in the immediate neighborhood for coffee and a cheese pie--Athens basics.

Overall a good property with a great staff. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Loved the art installations and we took a bunch of pictures. Location of the hotel is very convenient and it’s only 10-20 mins walk to car rentals, metro and Hadrian’s arch. My only issue was the AC in the room was noisy and didn’t cool so it was hard to sleep on any night

This is our family trip and we had a fabulous time staying in Intercontinental Hotel, Athens. We booked a Club Floor Executive Room and glad to be upgraded to Club Suite. The club staff are friendly, efficient and attention to details. The view of the Club Floor is glorious. I would like to express my special thanks to Eleni in Club Floor.
