Very comfortable

Next to the main road. Feels like the trucks are going thru the bedroom. Restaurant was closed. Won't stay there again.

Upside: Marjorie was delightful at the front desk. The rooms were very clean, just a little tired. The staff were great local girls, very accommodating, Downside: Price was high as a late check in through WOTIF, and town was full, so...my bad. No advertised streaming services working.

This is a nice room.Could get more milk.

Its an older motel and seems to cater to folks in town working. It was very clean and comfortable

Our room was meant to be delux but had stains and burn marks on the duvay. Light switches covered in gods knows what, dirty benches, for what was meant to be 200 a night definitely not acceptable. They did refund my money no problem but just disgusted with condition.

The convenience of having the bar next door to be able to get a proper meal for dinner without having to drive

excellent shower, where the carpet met tiles the sharp pins caught in my feet, an excellent way to catch Hep C, the road in front is very noisy it’s earplugs to get to sleep

We stayed in room 12a by the main road. We paid about 160 per night for 3 weeks. Positives: We were given an air fryer to use. Cleaning staff are friendly Convenient location Negatives: Carpet nails sticking in main walkways Dishwasher was broken No smoke alarm No ventilation for cooking Lack of security and location of the room makes room vulnerable to potential theft. The noise of the traffic and the neighbours. Virtually no noise cancelling Reception is not regularly staffed and not easy to contact quickly. Electrician who came to fix dishwasher in our room relied on us because they had no one at reception and don't pick up the phone. No hair dryer provided with room, until requested. Requested hair dryer was covered in gunk. Ironing board provided is unusable as it has no cover Shower head is guaranteed to poor water outside Room was missed for servicing on one day so we missed out on replacement towels. Price. We have stayed at cheaper places that were significantly better than this. Overall, would not stay here again unless we were looking for something short term and we were desparate. With a lot of small changes the room could be a pretty solid one. The worst aspects for us were the carpet nails in our feet, the lack of smoke alarm and the irregular staffing of reception.

We had a spa bath and heated towel rail. Wonderful. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Do not let rhe outside deter you. Super clean. They have to replace their shower heads but other than that, very comfortable. Inside newly refurbished.

A friendly receptionist. A comfortable bed. Plenty of options on TV. The best shower we have experienced in our travels.

It looks way better on the inside. We showed up after hours and it looked sketchy from the outside, but it was quite a nice place to stay for the night. Close to penguin colony

Staff were not available at stated 2pm check-in time, 25 minute wait while they returned from lunch, then just handed the keys. No further information for room service, but eventually found a business card with Wi-Fi and password. Wi-Fi speed reasonable and capable of streaming to a laptop or tablet. Parking is OK. Room was functional with microwave and enough dinnerware and cutlery for 2-3 people, iron and ironing board The fridge was too cold and froze fruit, this could spoil medications, for e.g if you were diabetic and needed to store insulin. A positive was the bathroom was recently renovated and shower was nice and clean. Comfy lounge and large table and chairs

Property very clean but some facilities damaged including window catches. Toilet roll holder and hook for hanging towels in bathroom. Couldn’t check in at expected time as room not ready

We had a lovely tidy big room with separate bedroom. It warm and quiet. Had beds for 5 but only 2 chairs at the table and a 2 seater sofa. Would havd needed more plates if there'd bern more of us. A good place to stay with the restaurant and phoenix entertainment centre next door. Would stay again.

Very substandard equipment in room, not acceptable wouldnt recommend this motel

Rooms were relatively average, clean however strong musty odour present & draft blowing in from underneath front door. Very sticky tiles in bathroom & cigarette burns on one of the duvet covers. Fine for 1 night stay, however unlikely to return.

All facilities were clean and service from staff was very onliguing.

No towels were provided and the layer of dust around the place was so thick you could see it. Beds were comfy. Location was great with the free parking but we weren't prepared to arrive to the shipping containers, old furniture and outside area looking like a an unorganized mess.

The kitchenette was well appointed. The beds and bedding were good. The bathroom was nice except for hooks and toilet paper roll falling off the walls. There was a nice heater in there. The water pressure from shower was like a waterfall in a good way.

Looked pretty average from the outside, but the room was a real surprise - fresh decor, spacious, great bathroom, and no road noise despite the trucks regularly passing on the main road. Would definitely recommend.

The motel was spotlessy clean, warm and cosy and the bed was super comfortable - everything you expect in a motel. Parking around the unit is a bit inconvenient if all the units are full, as they were when we were there. Our unit surroundings were pretty basic - it looks like they were stuck out the back as an after-thought - maybe they were and the finishing touches haven't been done yet. We would stay there again though.

We dod not like finding tomato sauce and toast crumbs on the plates we went to use for breakfast. Also our door was left unlocked after it was serviced

Cleanliness could be improved particularly in the bathroom. The grounds and surrounding area were in need of some work eg potholes and uneven surfaces. It would have been nice to have been provided with a bottle of milk for a cup of tea on arrival.

The outward appearance is not flash but the room we had was fine and the bathroom was lovely.

Poor communication from staff. Provided amenities such milk was spoilt, among other things. Attempted to make contact to discuss concerns, staff didn’t reply.

Even though it was a 2 bedroom it also had a queen sized bed in living room. Kitchen was nice. Bathroom beautiful

Easy to find. New bathroom was very good. Kitchen tap loose, carpet join a shocker. Easy to get in and out of and plenty of parking. I would stay there again as it is good value for money and it has everything you need.

The motel is in a great location when passing through the area. The room was spacious and quiet.

Phoenix complex attached was very convenient. Unstable table and broken venetian blinds in the room were the only negatives

The motel was clean and the Bed was great. The kitchen, bathroom areas need a lot of work. Not enough kitchen utensils cutlery and dishes. Come on 1 teaspoon.

The sheets & towels were clean but the floor didn’t look like it had been vacuumed & there was old food & dirt on top of the kitchen cabinets. There was no soap in the dispenser above the bathroom basin & no scrubbing brush to clean dishes with. Also no recycling bin provided. The toaster started smoking as soon as it was pushed down so we were unable to use it. The restaurant advertised as being onsite is closed Mondays

Overall good

The room wasn't big enough to swing a cat in. Only good thing was the bed. Cleaning was poor with an empty pill packet on the floor and the top of the toilet cistern was covered in dust. The only reason we stayed there was that another motel we had booked 5 days previously then told us they had mno room after confirming our request for a room and then booked a couple in the day wecwere due to arrive butcthat iscanother story.

Great place to stay. Good size rooms with beautiful bathroom to which my children loved. Perfect for our journey. Thank you.

Great having a restaurant right next door. Staff were helpful but their maintenance let them down - had made beds but not cleaned (the lady came down and cleaned as soon as I let her know there were issues) there were blown and missing light bulbs, the heat pump was too weak to cool the rooms and had foliage covering and growing Into the outdoor unit ! The hair conditioner dispenser was broken, t.v had big white stripe through screen- and a funny note - there was a saucepan in the cupboard but no stove top to use it lol

Although the exterior looks a little sad, the inside was wonderfully new & clean, the bathroom even had a clawfoot bath!

The information paper could be renewed in unit. It was greasy. Lovely friendly lady at reception.Got a park but not alotted one.Lovely view upstairs.

Was very happy with the room, nice large room, nice beds and pillows. Good size bathroom with nice size bathtub. Bathroom was modern. Had face washwr and nice glasses.

While the room was very clean the bedside lamp on one side had no bulb on it there was no cord to lower and raise the venetian blind and the rod to open and shut them came off and needed you to stand on a chair to put back on the plug in the bath wouldnt open to empty the water and i cracked my head open on the corner of the microwave cabinet yes my fault but it is in a very dangerous position tried to call reception but couldnt raise anyone till 10.15am by which time we were on out way home the lady saying she doesnt start till 1pm so sorry but the place didnt overally impress me

Good value for money. Much nicer on the inside and very spacious.

The bathroom was dirty, the covers were dirty, the smoke alarm was just wires hanging from the casing, they allowed dogs in the units. Totally unfit to be classed. Never ever again. Just yuk

We loved the claw foot bath and bathroom best otherwise the motel was a bit dated and the outside area was univiting.

I was in town for a girls cricket tournament less than 2 minutes drive away. The motel had comfy bed and a great shower which after a long day watching cricket was all I needed. Best price in town as well.

Did not have a King size bed as advertised. Room was located across from bin area behind reception. Dirty dishes in cupboard, previous guests items still in freezer, and soap running down walls under vanity. Appreciate the room has been recently renovated and reasonably comfortable, but air con located over bed is not ideal to sleep. Need to think about room layout. Blinds would not close. Blackout curtains may help.

Room 10 was nice. Room 23 had shower door broken. Female staff member informed me that they knew about it but other client didn't care. Offered me extra towels to soak up the water. I explained that if I slipped on wet floor and hurt myself and the hotel knew.. Then they would be in hot water due to health and safety. She laughed and walked away. I asked for her name but she refused to give it to me. She must have made a phone call because we were moved to room 10 even though she informed us that they were fully booked and we would have to find another motel at our loss. This lady was so unprofessional. We will never stay there again or even recommend this place to any one. This unprofessional female was the only down side to our stay. She was just awful

Very old & run down. Light bulbs out, no soap, dirty floor, ripped curtains

Rented 2 rooms. 1 was not bad at all but the 2nd had hair, toenail clippings, dust and spider webs.

Pleasant staff and tidy place and comfortable bed. The room looks a bit tired but it was clean and tidy.

When we arrived to check in, the owner was not there, as she was not aware that I had made a booking. Had to wait till she returned to be checked in. This then made us late for our event. The room was very cold and took ages to heat. The heat pump was right above the bed so was very noisy and had to be left on over night, otherwise we would have frozen. Room was very tired looking, could do with a make over.
