A fantastic find right on the Main Street of activity. Good design elements, neat, clean and new! The rooms are spacious and comfortable and one of the best bathrooms. New and tiled, with double sink. What we loved was the thought put in for guests for every small thing - the bathroom had lots of toiletries from mouthwash, to toothbrush and other bits to appreciate. the Room had a funky filter coffee apparatus to add some fun! We had a great view overlooking the street but didn't find it noisy. Staff always helpful. Only comment is breakfast very limited for those who don't eat pork - would be good to have some options. Overall, we loved this hotel and look forward to staying again!

Stay here! This hotel was fantastic in every way. It was my first trip to Lithuania with my father who was born here. The trip was so special and this hotel made it perfect. We arranged an airport pickup and the driver met us at the airport with a name card. It was 35€ for three of us right up to the door. We took a Bolt taxi on the way back but the car service was special for arrival. We flew in for the Christmas markets and New Year’s Eve and it was located perfectly between them both. Walkable both ways and three convenience stores between. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants also right on our street. Reception helped us with every question and we even got a complimentary bottle of champagne on New Year’s Eve. Rooms were clean and cozy and quiet. We took advantage of the breakfast offerings nearby we didn’t eat in the hotel but it was nice to know it was there. Lots the artistic touches (and short distance to museums) especially as an art teacher! We would stay here again without hesitation! Don’t sleep on roaming down Literatų street right next door, too.

Artagonist hotel is a gem. The location is excellent directly in the old town. It’s easy to walk around anywhere in the area. The hotel was clean, comfortable and modern with excellent service and a delicious breakfast.

Close to everything in Old Town

Excellent central location, very friendly staff. The only let down was the breakfast, perhaps due to the eating area being located in the basement and it being winter, the room itself felt a little cold, but more importantly all the "hot" breakfast options were barely warm at all. When it's cold as it is in December, cold scrambled eggs and cold sausages don't really feel that appetising. Other than that it was a great stay.

This boutique hotel is a hidden gem in the middle of Vilnius. If you want a hotel that's luxury, modern, unique, quirky but subtle and no frills of spas, yet central. Then this is perfect. Our room was huge! With a small balcony over looking the reception of the hotel. Jolanta (reception) was an absolute angel. She worked everyday - days and nights. Any issues and it was sorted. No fuss, just done. Jolanta was professional, caring and always had a genuine 'so happy to see you' smile and conversation. The room was clean and the amenities are plentiful. Stocked everyday - even if they were not needed. Breakfast - lots of variety and replenished constantly until 10am (most hotels stop replenishing after 9.30am). This hotel definitely works with attention to details and will make your stay memorable and comfortable.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. I have also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions in okd town.

Arty hotel with really friendly staff. In a good location for walking around the old town. Nice breakfast selection. The rooms have digital controls that you have to work out when you first arrive but no issues. Would happily stay again. Good wifi signal

Stay at Artagonist Vilnius

Nice hotel in a great location, a short walk to all of the main sites. Had a standard room in the attic which would be fine for one person but bothersome for a couple. Overall the room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Service was excellent. Breakfast was ok, though the coffee machine temperature was too low (maybe in Lithuania they prefer cold coffee).

I great hotel located in Old town. Pros: 1. Spacious standard room, 21m sq 2. Very comfortable bed 3. Underfloor heating in the bathroom 4. Great breakfast 5. Friendly and helpful staff 6. USB chargers by the bed 7. Complimentary chocolates in the room 8. Reusable water bottle with charcoal filtration Cons 1. I got one of the more boring standard rooms (with large wooden panels, and no fancy art) 2. No fridge 3. Despite aircon being on all the time the room was really stuffy. I did not want to open the windows as my room was facing the main street 4. No body lotion provided

Great staff, really attractive hotel, good bathroom. The only downside was that I had spotty Internet but the staff did their best to fix it.

Great location

The location couldn't be better, right on the main road Pilies (castle street), which is near all the sites in old town. Restaurants, bars and souvenir shops are near by. Convenient yet quiet and the staff was helpful.

The apartment was fabulous. Alex was very helpful, his directions to find the apt was spot on and he insisted in helping to carry our luggage up the stairs. The apt is comfortable and elegant with everything one would need. The views over the old market square were lovely.

We stayed for 3 nights - starting with a very late arrival after midnight due to airline schedule). Very helpful staff and very convenient location in heart of Old Town. Very comfortable bed and good shower. Excellent breakfast. My only minor quibble was with the hotel's offer of a shuttle service from the Airport. This was not a regular service rather the offer of a chauffeur driven service if ordered in advance. Cheaper and simpler to take a taxi or Bolt. The initial problem we had with pick-up due to poor communication was happily resolved with fulsome apologies from the hotel manager. I would strongly recommend the Artagonist Hotel to others

Cute, individual and beautiful hotel in a very central location

I didn't need to upgrade my room - it was nice enough, but I didn't get the free breakfast as promised on the Expedia page - the hotel didn't see it on their page

The Artagonist is in a great location for sights, restaurants, bars and shops. It’s comfortable and quiet with helpful friendly staff. Really good breakfast. Bedroom ( superior) was spacious, large comfortable bed( but be aware bathroom is separated only be see through glass).

The hotel receptionist was professional, kind, very helpful, particularly offered help in arranging a last minute taxi to the bus station.

Great place in the heart of Vilnius. Modern style hotel, big rooms and washrooms. Decent breakfast. Well located, walking distance to all historical areas. 10 minutes from Airport. 5 minutes to bus station.

Staff was awesome and nice. The room was clean and nice. Right in the middle of all the cool things in the city.

Great Hotel. Only minus is that British guests should bring creamer for coffee or black tea bags and milk pods , as room won’t have them. Everything else was great. I particularly appreciated them arranging for an unplanned slightly earlier check in

Artagonist Art Hotel: A Trendy Lithuanian Gem!

Artagonist Art Hotel is a fantastic spot to stay in Lithuania’s charming capital city: Vilnius! The hotel has an artistic aesthetic - stylish, contemporary and elegant - and the staff were absolutely wonderful throughout my stay. They were always so professional and kindly let me store my luggage with them on the day I checked out, so I could continue to explore the city. The room was pleasantly large, with a sumptuous double bed, and thoughtful amenities provided such as a coffee machine. The shower had real strength to it, which is always a positive, as I’ve stayed at hotels with weak jet streams before. The hotels location, too, is perfect - you’re right in the city centre and moments away from the majority of the biggest attractions in Vilnius. I would highly recommend this gorgeous hotel for your Lithuanian trip!

Great Boutique Hotel! Excellent Old Town Location!

Very nice little hotel centrally located in the heart of OldTown. Easy walks to many neighborhoods. Room was very nice. Good Internet. Good shower. Room was a little small. Not really a problem except the storage was very limited. I enjoyed my stay. IT was reasonably priced.

As central as you can get. Vilnius Old Town is a charming district and historic sites are within a short walking distance. I had a single room which was extremely comfortable and had three nights good sleep. Staff were polite and helpful. I'd packed the wrong chargers and I was given use of one by staff at reception. My bag was delayed and when it arrived was delivered to my room. Buffet breakfast was good although I'd say the cooked element needs to be slightly hotter. If you're looking for somewhere as a single traveller that is central and offers a good night's sleep in a comfortable room then I'd recommend Artagonist.

Really poor sleep environment

This is kind of a funky hotel in a great location. I want to say it's new and interesting, but new and inconvenient might be more accurate. A wonderful staff but they didn't seem empowered to do much to help. We initially stayed in a top floor room with a slanted ceiling that was huge and had beautiful dormer windows. Unfortunately, those lovely windows faced east and became bright as the surface of the sun first thing every morning. They had these janky custom cut-out window covers but they were in disrepair and didn't even work well once we got them fixed (they made the housekeepers do the fix, which seems unfair to them). They then moved us to another very nice and spacious room with less light issues, but the "black out" curtains they advertise were anything but. Still problematically bright. On top of all of this were the bathroom light issues. They are well-documented online but despite management reading and responding, there are no solutions currently offered. The motion sensor light cannot be turned off, it is stupidly bright (I wouldn't even want it that bright if it were on a traditional switch), and the blinds don't work well enough to prevent the whole room from being lit up through the glass bathroom walls. Then, the light inevitably turns off several times during your shower, leaving you waving your arms in the air like Kermit and cursing the hotel designers. Management is aware of all this but doesn't care enough to install some simple light switches.

The staff is not responding to the requests.

Very friendly and efficient check-in. Smack in the middle of old-town. A lot of restaurants and within walking distance of most must-see sights. That said, there is plenty of transportation options available. All people at the front desk speak English and are very nice and professional. Nice clean rooms. There are some minor disadvantages. There is no parking near the property. I believe I was told there was available parking around 300m away (For a fee). So if you are renting a car, that may be an issue. Depending on your noise tolerance, keep in mind you are in fact located right in the middle of the tourist area, so you may be bothered by some relatively minor noise (Cars, people walking, music) late at night. I wish there had been a small refrigerator or ice available. Note: I highly recommend you get the BOLT app and use Bolt for all your transportation needs, here in Lithuania and around Europe. Very inexpensive (Competitively speaking) and you can usually get a car within five minutes no matter where you are. From the airport to the Artagonist it cost me 8.40 Euro. Car took three minutes from the moment I order it at the airport.

A nice hotel in a great location. The breakfasts were excellent, great variety of options. Staff were brilliant. Only downside for us was that the rooms could be soundproofed better, next door was LOUD.

This hotel is INCREDIBLE and I don't think the pictures even do it justice. Breakfast was great and the location was perfect and walkable to everywhere. We also got upgraded to what is the nicest hotel room I have ever seen, so just an amazing experience.

This is a very smart modernised boutique hotel in a fantastic position for all the sites in the lovely old town. Our room was lovely and quiet with everything you would expect. We were up in the loft so we were a bit restricted height wise so if you are a six footer make sure you upgrade your room!

Fabulous hotel in old town Vilnius. We had a Business room which was very high standard. Staff were very polite and friendly. My only complaint was there was no bar/restaurant open when we were there. There was a well stocked mini bar. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast which was plentiful.

Wonderful boutique hotel. Very comfortable stay in the heart of Vilnius. As I was leaving my room, I accidentally left behind some of my recording equipment. I received an email from the hotel asking if I left my items behind. When I confirmed they were mine, the hotel mailed my items to me. Very pleased with hotel, staff, service and overall stay. Definitely recommend!

A beautifully designed hotel - i enjoyed a very comfortable stay.

The hotel was excellent and in a central location where by you could walk everywhere. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and nice. Only thing wish room had a fridge. All Hotel was clean and well maintained. Once again brilliant location on one of the main streets in the old town. Would stay here again.

Tiny room made for an awkward stay

Nice staff, good range of breakfast food. Clean and modern throughout but our room was ridiculously small. Could barely walk around the bed. There wasn’t even room to sit at the dressing table/desk so the chair was just squashed under the window. No storage or surface in the bathroom at all. No robes, no closet. Could not put our bags anywhere.

Lovely, quirky and arty hotel as the name says. Very central in the old town, but yet very quiet. Excellent breakfast and sights all easily reached on foot. Room has special touches and ours had two sinks, which was handy. Highly recommended, keep up the great work.

Beautiful small hotel

We stayed here for three nights. After a slow check in due to the system being totally IT based and an insistence by the receptionist that we persevered we got off to an indifferent start. However once we got to our funky room and experienced the quality warmth and homely feel to the room we felt at home. Thereafter we got excellent service and advice and assistance throughout. We did however have to ask for our free drink based upon our Hotel.com status. Overall a great stay in a beautiful city in a hotel we would certainly return to again.

A few days in Vilnius

Hotel was fantastic, modern and a little quirky. Location brilliant. The welcome was very efficient and warm. Nice touch of a free drink to take in the bar when we wanted and little patisseries in the room. Breakfast was adequate and well presented. My only criticism was that I found the bed a little hard - a minor point.

I was given a room on the 4th floor with almost no window, with no art at all. they call it an art hotel! these top floor rooms should not cost the same amount as regular rooms on lower floors with windows. this was a rip-off.

The staff in the hotel were extremely polite and helpful and the hotel was ideally situation between cathedral square and town hall square.

My only complaint is that the room was too small for a king size bed. Otherwise everything was fine.
