Highly satisfactory specious room and floorplan. However, smaller parking area is too compact for simple manouvering if full.

For two people the room was huge, however it was over priced and be careful when you book as price was quoted in US$ so cost around AU$200. Wouldn't stay there again as it wasn't worth the price and was also upstairs which was a problem when you have a walking problem.

Generally good

It was generally good. Staff at Reception was very helpful. The room was generally comfortable Just the water in the shower needs some improvement. The quantity of water that came out from the shower head was small.

Comfortable and convenient location

Staff friendly and able to arrange after hours check in, rooms are clean but soundproof is average and shower temperature fluctuates whilst showering. Overall comfortable stay.

Friendly efficient checkin and a decent room. Expansive windows which open to allow fresh air. Limited shelf space to unpack. Sink area outside the bathroom had no place for toiletries and other items. Bed was very comfy though with excellent quality sheets. Wine fridge provided a ever present floodlight in the room. Nice pool on the grounds.

Our appartment was everything we needed, having the ability to wash our baby’s dirty clothes and even dry them was just amazing after holidaying in Adelaide and having to find laundry mats it just took the pressure off and allowed us to enjoy our time in Mount Gambia. The rooms were a great size and had everything we needed to be self sufficient. The beds were relatively comfortable and just loved our stay will be booking again and recommending them when we go visit family !!

Annoyed that they didn’t let us know that only 2 tv stations and no foxtel/austat as advertised and also no breakfast as advertised. Just like to be told all this when we checked in

The rooms are clean and large, i did find that the rooms were a little noisy that you can hear whats going on around you, especially when cars come and go as the car park has loose stones. Close to shops and pubs

Don’t let the outside of the property fool you! Once inside…. Huge room. Spotlessly clean. Good heating/aircon. Very comfortable bed. Very clean bed linen. Modern fixtures and fittings. Same goes for bathroom. Modern, spotlessly clean. Everything worked. Will definitely stay here again if I’m in Mount Gambier.

Easy late check in and was lovely to walk into a nice neat clean and fresh smelling motel. I’ve stayed at 3other motels in Mt Gambier before and this one was by far the cleanest and nicest as it seemed to me they keep everything maintained and set out well.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived in motorbikes and and the lovely receptionist changed our room so we could park our bikes out the front of our room and keep an eye on them. It's an easy walk to town and the room was very clean. If passing this way again we would certainly stay again.

This property is located close to everything that we required, tourist attractions, food, shopping. Easy check in.

2 nights stay, comformable room. Pleasant staff. Pillows: sleeping on 1 pillow too flat, sleeping 2 pillows too high. Recommend replacing some pillows with a medium height.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Sofa looked outdated but very comfortable and clean, as was everything else. TV was old, small and had a poor menu system. The water in the shower was difficult to regulate and kept changing temperature.

Great location and the rooms are clean. Didn’t like the fact that the neighbours were still partying at 4am, which isn’t ideal if you’ve got children trying to sleep.

Stayed at # 13, clean , tidy and warm, had 3 different I pad, laptop devices with us, and couldn't get Internet service on any of them, told the reception, but it didn't change, so if you love visiting McDonalds every morning for breakfast and to check mail, this is the place for you

Quick check in. Roomy, clean and comfortable. Even had 2 chairs and table, and a sitting chair. Some bits were upgraded, others not. Overall good stay.

Nicely located near to all amenities. Good property with heated pool and barbeque.

Has heated pool including spa pool, property clean and well maintained. Easy walking distance to nearby hotel with great food, especially Thursday nights when they have smoked their own meats! Also within walking distance of Woolworths. Would happily stay here again.

Week away in the mount

We loved our stay at Arkana. Our room was clean with all the necessary amenities (small fridge, toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery), and our beds were made daily. Check in and out was quick and easy, and location was very central. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely property with everything you need, staff were friendly and easy to communicate with. Close to all the main attractions abd restaurants. If i had to pick something, the beds werent very comfortable but that didnt dampen our spirits. Will definitely return.

We were only there for one night as we spent the day at the caves. The lady in reception was fast and efficient. The room whilst not being large it was suitable to our requirements. It was very clean, the bed extremely comfortable and the pool area was relaxing. The lady at reception also pointed out that the nearest pub was a 5 minute walk- very nice pub food.

Very clean apartment that was well laid out. Friendly and efficient staff. Only issues was shower over bath; not exactly suited for older clients and some confusion over parking spaces.

Road Trip

We were on a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide. The motel is in a great location and the terrace apartment unit we were in has all the amenities we needed for 4 adults, including 1x Queen and 2x Single beds. It was clean, checking in and out was great.

Close to the lakes and the sinkhole. The staff were very attentive and helpful.

Great place to stay overnight on the road at to Melbourne. I would definitely stay there again for longer. The terrace apartments were very comfortable and the pool was great for the kids.

Room is generous in size, a little dated but clean and the bed was pretty confortable. The pool was quite cold, it was supposed to be heated and pretty small. Overall we would stay here again as it was pretty good value for money.

One Night Stay.

The Arkana was great for an overnight stop. Easy access and location near the Main Road. Close to supermarket and places to eat. Close to the Harness Racing if you’re into that. Clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful.

It was all I expected a nice hotel to be. Comfortable bed and tidy bathroom made for a welcoming stay. One of the bedside lamps did not work but there was enough lighting to compensate.

Room was beautiful but was in front of the stairs. When there is a basketball tournament in the area, a billion kids on the stairs sounds like elephants in your room. No complaints about the room though, shower was amazing and plenty of space overall

Quick stop on the way home to Adelaide

Great customer service. Comfy & had mostly what we needed. We did notice there was no microwave as I needed to heat a bottle but we managed. Would stay again

Sales Rep Stopover

Second time I’ve stayed here and pleased with facilities once again. Even though it’s just of one of the main highways passing through town it is still tucked away enough to miss the majority of the traffic noise. Clean, well presented and good value - complimentary bottled water on arrival a bonus.
