Handy position for our requirements

This property is not superior accommodation, the room was in need of basic maintenance and cleaning. While the staff were pleasant would not stay again or recommend

Beautifully presented and spacious accomodation

Very friendly and helpful host who walked me to my room. Spacious and beautifully presented accomodation with nice touches like big fluffy robes and very nice linen & towels. Parking was a bit tricky but one can get use to it pretty quickly. Easy walk to beautiful Dunedin Botanical Gardens, New World Supermarket and the fantastic Beam me up Bagels who make the best bagels in New Zealand & make best coffee. Also great SPCA Op Shop and other second hand shops in the area.

Ok for a short stay.

Comfortable for a short stay. Enough kitchen equipment for some basics. Mezzanine was quite spacious. Supermarket and some restaurants nearby.

Unique suites but could be cleaner

Clean and convenient

Fabulous new linen. Great have access to a laundry as I was travelling for over a week. Serviced everyday which is a nice touch.

Great location for what we wanted to do at the North End of Dunedin. An older motel which could do with some maintenance inside and out. Parking on site could be a challenge if all units were full. BUT unit 12 which we had was very spacious. VERY clean with plenty of towels,even bathrobes. A sharp knife and tea towel needed for the kitchen. Check in easy and the lady at reception very helpful. WILL stay again. Thanks.

I booked a room for my nephew and his friend who are in 20s. They both appreciated the cleanliness and the location near supermarket.

Multiple trips here and I keep coming back! Staff are friendly , bed is fabulously firm (and comfortable) and the place has the room to sit down and relax on a couch!

Very good in general

Privacy of all units was lovely due to the layout of the property. Little stream running through with native bush made it very peaceful and private.

Clean, car park is a bit tight for 4wd.

I had a rear unit which was good, parking was tight but doable. I used the laundry and was pleased that the washing powder was provided. I checked out early and just left the key in the unit as requested, communication was on the reception door about this. Pretty good value.

Thanks to the manager for putting us on to the best fish meal at the Carney’s hotel near the port

Very friendly polite staff. The unit was well equipped. Beds were comfortable. We lucked out and got a separate unit so there were no shared walls with neighbors. Really close to beautiful botanical gardens. Easy and close access to grocery store and bus to downtown

It was a delight to find such a neat, clean and tidy, well-appointed unit, sadly however I was in a front unit right next to the main road and highway - which is on a steep hill, so had heavy trucks (logging trucks and the like) using engine braking going down and heavy engines going up all night long, so the noise and vibrations meant little sleep, however I should quantify that by saying I live in a small quiet town with very little traffic noise.

The unit was fine.

We have stayed at Aria on Bank before and like it for space, comfort, cleanliness and convenience. However, the accommodation is looking a bit tired now - could do with new floor in the bathroom and carpets. Nice to have complimentary bath products but these should be supplied in reusable/refillable containers, not in non-recyclable plastic packaging which will end up in landfill. Bin liners should also be biodegradable and bins provided for recyclables.

Absolutely perfect inside the studio room. Everything you need, definitely a place I plan to come back to. Outside however the road is very steep, parking is great but snug and the area didn’t feel the safest after dark. However as accomodation to just sleep in and visit the sights of Dunedin or pick up your child who is studying in Otago, it was perfect.

Room was warm on arrival which was nice as it was 2deg outside, room was clean and tidy but a bit dated. Air conditioning unit outside was quite noisy and noticable at night. Bed was comfy. Would stay there again, it was the best value for money I could find near the hospital.

First assigned room was too cold and too noisy. Wi-Fi was spotty at best. We asked for another room and the manager graciously moved us to a much better unit.

Loved this property. Was clean, comfortable and the teenagers loved the stairs. Was quiet and had free use of laundry. Walking distance for food and shopping. Would definitely stay again.

On arrival at the unit I found there was no longer electric blankets on the beds. When I queried this at reception I was told they had been removed approx a month before. I was told I should have checked bedroom amenities. As I have stayed several times I would not see the need. I think this should be highlighted in the description when booking. I’m sorry but I don’t think that is good enough as it is a reason for choosing this property. I will not stay again.

All good except parking spaces were awkward to manoeuvre in low grade toilet paper and the position of the toilet would not suite a large person. The carpet was stained and needs renewing.

Quiet and Comfortable

Location was good for seeing our relatives - not in centre of Dunedin but 20 minute walk if needed. Clean, quiet, comfortable, warm with air-con, friendly helpful hosts. Only difficulty was parking, as not easy - would be harder with big vehicle. However, host parked our car very well for us, so we could drive away easily the next day.

We would stay again. The staff were so nice and accomodating. I was having a procedure done at the hospital so they upgraded us to a bigger room toward the back of the property so it was quiet. The unit was warm. Sky tv was good. We would definitely recommend. Value for money.

Helpful & Great Service

The caretaker was very friendly, we informed him of a clog drain at the kitchen late in the evening after work hours, he come over & got it fixed right away, excellent service.

Very comfortable and roomy two bedroom unit for a family group. Close to town with easy check in and check out. We thought this was great value and very suitable for our weekend getaway.

Nice studio apartment very close to the botanical garden, pubs and grocery store.

The beds were comfy, and facilities were surprisingly accommodating. Everything you needed for self-catering and a supermarket just a short walk away. Would stay again.

Great location. Excellent daily service. Clean and spacious for a couple. It is a loft so u need to be able to climb stairs to bedroom. Perhaps needs new carpets to spruce it up a bit. Overall no complaints.

Amazing location! Short walk to the botanic gardens and New World. Accommodation was clean and well equipped. Only issue was the loft floor was squeaky in some areas but not too fussed about it.

Great apartment. Nice and modern and well equipped. My only gripe is the internet signal was not strong enough to connect and use. Other than that, no problems

Recommend for families

Really enjoyed our stay here for 4 nights. Unit was clean and well appointed. Access was easy, and we were given a back unit off the road as requested so it was very quiet. Only improvement I would have suggested was some units having laundry facilities in them, it was a bit of a nuisance getting to and from the singular washing machine and dryer, waiting for others to finish using them and checking availability. Very handy location to Botanical Gardens, and a 3 min walk to supermarket. Would stay here again.
